Abortion owner who once said she tried to get as many people sterilized as are in her way, has died

Former Florida Abortion Clinic owner, Joyce Tarnow died February 21, 2014 at the age of 74 years old, after a two year battle with cancer.

Joyce Tarnow moved from Chicago to Miami Dade County in 1962, to Broward County in 1974 and to Dixie County in 2007.

She attended Miami Dade Community College 1968-1970

Tarnow organized the Miami Chapter of Zero Population Growth in 1970 following Earth Day at U.M. where she picked up a copy of Paul Ehrlich’s book,”The Population Bomb.”

Tarnow served on the national board of Zero Population Growth 1972-1974 as she described, “out of all my environmental interests.“

She was also a member of the Florida Abortion Rights Action League, known as FARAL.

Tarnow ran an abortion clinic in Broward County from 1976 to 2006 and served as president of Floridians for a Sustainable Population as well as a member of the Federation of Anti-Immigration Reform also known as FAIR.

In 1972, Tarnow led a fight to repeal Florida’s abortion laws.

During her time as an abortion clinic owner, Tarnow was regularly picketed by pro-life protesters. She also criticized fellow abortionist Benjamin Graber who left her holding attorney’s fees from a lawsuit she and Graber lost against the protesters. That loss eventually cost her the clinic and forced her to finally close her doors for good. She closed her abortion clinic doors in 2004.

But that did not stop Tarnow, as she went on to be an outspoken advocate of population control.

In the interview below of Tarnow featured in the powerful documentary film Maafa21, Tarnow quotes population control author, Paul Ehrlich who co-authored books with Obama’s Science Czar, John P. Holdren.

Tarnow clearly advocates Darwin’s “Survival of the fittest” and says that the US should not help those nations who “cannot help themselves.”

In a July 15,2004 News Times article , they quote former abortionist Joyce Tarnow as saying:

America “can’t take all the people in the world,” “We need to help nations that can subsist and let others wither on the vine.”

And how about this sensitive approach to countries like Haiti, which, Tarnow said, “has denuded the whole land?“… “Stew in your own juices.”

In the same News Times article Joyce Tarnow reveals her true motives:

“Fertility is an environmental issue,” she says. “That’s why I try to get as many people sterilized as are in my way!”

In a a Jan 16, 2010 Ft Lauderdale Sun Sentinel Article, Tarnow had this to say regarding bringing suffering people from Haiti who endured the tragic earthquake, to the United States, “Tent cities in Haiti,” said Tarnow. “Give them all the help they need, but don’t bring them to this country.”.

“We have to enforce our borders,” she said. “There’s nothing more permanent than a temporary visa.”

Tarnow, was the former owner of the Women’s Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida: which performed approx 800 to 900 abortions per year, with many clients being low income and Haitian. Tarnow was also a proud member of the National Abortion Federation.

Tarnow worked tirelessly to make sure that the ones she didn’t get through abortion were NEVER allowed into this country through immigration. She was the president of the anti-immigration group: Floridians for a Sustainable Population.

She was also listed on the anti-immigration group FAIR as one of their “local contacts” . FAIR stands for the Federation for American Immigration Reform and they are run by former “Zero Population Growth” and “Planned Parenthood” members.

This blogger was one of the protesters who opposed Tarnow at her Florida abortion clinic. As pro-life protesters, we regularly prayed for Tarnow and petitioned her to stop her slaughter of unborn children.

Tarnow rarely dialogued with us. She became emboldened to come outside and photograph us only when she had engaged the help of the Feminist Majority to escort outside the clinic. That move cost her, because as she attempted to photograph me, I also had my camera up to photograph her. In her frustration and attempt at getting a picture, Tarnow grabbed my arm and assaulted me. Police were called and she was read her Miranda rights, however, I decided not to pursue pressing charges.

Tarnow was a very sad person. She believed in killing innocent babies to assure that Florida would not be overrun by those she deemed unfit. I wonder, if she has not repented, if she still believes her views. Standing before a Holy and Just God has a way of shedding light on all your deeds, especially the murder of children.

Tarnow may be haunted for eternity in an overcrowded hell if she did not repent. Let’s hope that is not the case.
