Known for their foundings in racist eugenics, it is no surprise that Planned Parenthood has set up a huge mega facility in Queens where a large majority of immigrants are located.
Described by president Cecile Richards as, “The ‘North Star’ for the rest of the Federation!” the 14,400 square foot $4.5 million dollar facility developed by architect Stephen Yablon Architecture has 6- exam rooms and 2- procedure rooms that perform abortions.
SYA describes the death mill this way:
Planned Parenthood of New York City sought an open, light-filled, uplifting reproductive health facility that would be an expression of the future of the organization, welcome the diverse residents of the borough, evoke respect for patient dignity and individual reproductive health choice, and provide an excellent patient experience, particularly for the youth in the borough. Simple, clean and logical floor plans provide an efficient and easy patient flow while maximizing the limited light. Waiting rooms with large windows are located on the front façade and fire stairs are transformed into open, spatially delightful communicating stairs with fire-rated glass, natural light, bright colors and custom graphics. Taking advantage of a zoning set-back, the recovery room is naturally lit by skylights. The sleek, white aesthetic is punctuated with a bold color system and custom graphics. The calm and spirited architecture offers an uplifting experience for patients and staff and serves as a model for future reproductive health facilities.
Planned Parenthod’s founder was a racist who saw immigrants as unworthy to freely procreate.
In Sanger’s Plan for Peace she writes, “to keep the doors of immigration closed to the entrance of certain aliens whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race, such as feebleminded, idiots, morons, insane, syphilitic, epileptic, criminal, professional prostitutes, and others in this class barred by the immigration laws of 1924.”
Despite their racist history, Mayor Bill de Blasio “Stands With Planned Parenthood”
