Planned Parenthood prez walks back apology issued after getting caught in a baby parts harvesting operation

During today’s Congressional hearings on Planned Parenthood funding, president Cecile Richards answers to Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio for her apology after the Center for Medical Progress released their under cover videos about their baby parts harvesting operation.

She claims the videos were edited even though days after the first video was released she published a video statement apologizing for the “tone and statement” of her own staff.

“I personally apologize for the staff member’s tone and statements,” Richards clearly said at the time.

But, she appeared to walk that back in her exchange with Rep. Jim Jordan when she was asked what “statements” she was apologizing for telling :

“I apologized for what was said in a non clinical setting in a non appropriate way and I don’t…In my judgement it was inappropriate to have that conversation in a non clinical setting in a non confidential area about clinical matters and I’ve told that to Dr. Nucatola.”

A forensics report published today concluded that the CMP videos were authentic and not altered.

Every second of video footage recorded by CMP was given to Coalfire, LifeSite news reported.
