So-called “Reverend” compares abortion to appendectomy or tonsillectomy calling it moral and honorable

Posted in Church pro-abortion, Religious Coalition of Reproductive Choice with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on July 9, 2015 by saynsumthn

A New York “Reverend” has called abortion “moral and honorable work” comparing killing babies in the womb to an appendectomy or tonsillectomy.

Cherry Hill Womens Center cert Rev Donna Schaper 485923493_n

The Cherry Hill Women’s Center abortion clinic kills unborn babies all the way up to 24 weeks.

But, that did not deter the Rev. Donna Schaper, senior minister of Judson Memorial Church in New York, NY from giving the New Jersey child killing center a certificate of appreciation which shockingly stated:

“In recognition and gratitude for your moral and honorable work as a defender of reproductive justice.”

Donna Schaper 0942684416393_n

It is insane to say that the wholesale slaughter of babies in the womb is in anyway moral or honorable.

The pro-abortion Rev. Schaper, once wrote that, “As Christians, as Baptists, we wearily say, the right to choose a medical procedure is also a woman’s right. It has to do fundamentally with the freedom of our souls to practice our religion and morality in our own ways.”

In a sermon posted online, Rev. Schaper describes how abortion is “moral” comparing child killing to an appendectomy or a tonsillectomy.

So when were talking about keeping a baby, we are not talking about a delivery. We are talking about the days and the weeks and the months and the years of that baby’s life,” she said.

The message is somewhat convoluted to those of us who are grounded in Biblical truth. Her ramblings of scripture, quotes from Robert Frost mingled with stories of a medical missionary and other stories confused me on her exact points.

Her emphasis was on the word “keeping” but her delivery as to what exactly she meant by that was unclear to me.

Rev Donna Schaper abortion_n

So once we understand what it means to keep a child, which is not just birthing a child, we become free to access the medical technology of abortion. Finally, it is nothing more or less than a medical technology, that’s all it is.”

And, you may or may not like this but it’s a lot like an appendectomy or a tonsillectomy. Forgive me, if that offends you in some way but it does not offend me. It is about a technology to keep or not to keep.

She then claims abortion is about protecting children.

“Lets just take the high ground which is taking care and keeping children
,” she stated, however confusing this sounds.

Abortion advocates tweet “Thank God for Abortion Providers”

Thanking God is apparently the theme on the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers.

Abortion-Providers-Appreciation-thank-you PP

We begin with this post from HuffPO:

Huffpo thank abortion

Harry Knox, President and CEO, Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice writes in the HuffPo piece which he also enthusiastically tweeted about:

Harry Knox I thank God for abortion

I thank God for Dr. Tiller.

Dr. Willie Parker similarly provides compassionate abortion care as a matter of faith. Dr. Parker, like Dr. Tiller, has been the target of harassment. Dr. Parker also serves on RCRC’s board. He says that he is occasionally asked by women, “Will God forgive me for killing my baby?” God’s love for those of us seeking abortion is a great source of strength. Dr. Parker is there to ensure they hear a message of compassion.

I thank God for Dr. Parker.

Every day doctors, nurses, medical assistants, abortion doulas, and receptionists risk their lives to make sure that those of us seeking an abortion are met with compassion and love.

I thank God for abortion providers
    .

Knox then tweeted this: “I’m a Christian and I thank God for Abortion Providers.” #TG4AP @RevHarryKnox

Let’s be clear, the God that I serve would not want to be thanked for abortion – something straight from the pits of hell – nor those who provide that “service.”

Planned Parenthood quotes religious leaders to promote “reproductive rights” code for abortion

Posted in Abortion Religion - see RCRC, Abortion Sacred, Planned Parenthood Clergy, Religious Coalition of Reproductive Choice with tags , , , , , , , , on October 21, 2014 by saynsumthn

We all know by now that Planned Parenthood uses God to sell abortion.
Planned Parenthood pastoral letter Header.

In fact, this blog broke the news that the abortion giant had published a Clergy / Pastoral Letter to convince women in a crisis pregnancy that there is nothing in the scriptures that says abortion is wrong and that many clergy think abortion is okay.

A second letter published by Planned Parenthood and exposed by this blog tells women that, “abortion is a morally permissible choice for a woman facing a problem pregnancy…and that the decision to have an abortion will not threaten your relationship with God.”

Now, we discover that Planned Parenthood has used religion to promote “reproductive rights” code for abortion, in a newsletter they published last year.

PP Faith Jew

In the 2013 Fall edition of ,The Source, a newsletter published by Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, they interview supporters from diverse spiritual points of view.

Lee Lee Doyle

They begin with Planned Parenthood Board Member, Lee Lee Doyle, PhD, who says she considered becoming a nun but changed her mind just before being confirmed. She then suggests that her interest in being a nun is what led her to commit to promoting abortion – uhhhh – correction “reproductive rights”, “Faith can serve as a vehicle to bring people together,” she writes, “as well as one to drive us apart, and the role it plays in discussions about reproductive rights is no different. In my early twenties I was preparing to dedicate my life to Christ as a nun. However, the day before I was set to take my first vows, I realized that this was not my calling, and that I was there for the wrong reasons. I liked the life and work of the nuns – the commitment to serving the poor, caring for people, and living a simple, just life – but not the spiritual aspect. Yet, some of the very convictions that had attracted me to the order were the same ones that would eventually lead me to my life’s work conducting contraceptive and reproductive health-focused research, and spark my passion for advocating for sexual justice and reproductive rights…For me, my support of Planned Parenthood’s mission comes as part of my theology, not in spite of it.”

Rabbi Eugene Levy

Rabbi Eugene Levy, co-founder of the Arkansas Interfaith Alliance makes it clear that he supports the nation’s top abortion provider, “The goal for Jews is to bring God’s heavenly kingdom to earth. It’s all about making the world a better place. Being ‘pro-life,’ then, is about making life good between birth and death so the question is,what are we going to do to make life better…There are many religious voices out there who like Planned Parenthood and the work it does, and I am one of them. I’ve always liked this organization, and I want to be a voice for a religion that supports Planned Parenthood.

The number one provider of abortions goes on to quote the Rabbi that life begins at birth, “Consider that the term “life” means from the moment of birth to the moment of death, and be sure you do everything possible to make life as good as it can be for everyone in your community.”

Rev Debra McKnight PP

Rev. Debra McKnight, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church in Omaha whose picture made the cover of this heretical issue calls compassion godly but goes on to advocate for legalized abortion on demand, “God is a life-giving presence, which means we can and should care for each other with compassion. Faith isn’t just an hour on Sunday morning, but in your everyday life… I believe that being absolutely pro-birth isn’t always the most life-giving choice. The church needs to be there to support people, not moralize about those choices. We hope for a world where abortion doesn’t have to happen, but we acknowledge that an absolute ban is not necessarily the most life-affirming stance, either, because it doesn’t take into account the circumstances of the woman and her family.”

The Methodist minister goes on to imply that abortion is sacred, “People of faith can take courage from the prophets of ancient stories and speak up. They can let the world and our leaders know that reproductive rights are sacred and women’s health means healthy families, workplaces and communities,” Rev. McKnight states.

Just want to point out that not one verse of scripture or Biblical reference or reference from the Torah was used by Planned Parenthood’s religious supporters.

Abortionist claims he is a “Christian” while killing unborn babies 6 months and 6 days gestation

Posted in Abortion Religion - see RCRC, Abortion Sacred, Religion, Religious Coalition of Reproductive Choice with tags , , , , , , , , , , on May 27, 2014 by saynsumthn

NJ.com has called a man who kills unborn children for a living a “Christian” in a recent article.

The article headlines, “Why I perform abortions: A Christian obstetrician explains his choice”, interviews a Mississippi abortionists by the name of Willie Parker. The article begins with this, “He’s a Christian from Birmingham, Ala., who initially refused to even consider the procedure. But about halfway into his 20-year career, he changed his mind. Now, he’s one of those rare doctors who is willing to push the limits and provide abortions at 24 weeks of pregnancy.

In case you cannot do the math – that means he is willing to kill babies which are six months gestation for any reason given….

Willie Parker called Christian 074423845412494_n

Parker insists he was raised a Christian but struggles with providing abortions. His turn to the “dark side” allegedly came after listening to , “a sermon by Dr. Martin Luther King, I came to a deeper understanding of my spirituality, which places a higher value on compassion.”

Still trying to understand how killing an innocent baby is compassionate…..

He then describes the average abortion patient, “The women most likely to be in those situations are trapped in poverty, often women of color or poor socioeconomic backgrounds, less education, and women and girls at the extremes of reproductive age. Women beyond the age where they think they can become pregnant, or young girls who have infrequent and irregular sexual activity and aren’t conscious of it.”

In other words, Parker, a black obgyn, has no problems killing off his race…..just say’

Willie Parker

Parker then calls abortion a HUMAN RIGHT- can you imagine?

“Abortion should be considered a part of reproductive health care and a basic human right, but it’s not,” abortionist Willie Parker says.

But, even Parker has his limits – I mean – ripping a baby limb from limb at 6 months – 6 days almost 25 weeks is as far as the “Christian” abortionist will go. What stops him? The law !!!!

I don’t do abortions beyond 24 weeks and 6 days. In the absence of lifesaving measures, my cutoff is the legal limit. That becomes a moving target, but nobody in D.C. does them beyond 25 weeks. Once a fetus has the possibility to survive outside the womb — with or without extraordinary support measures — I will not do an abortion. The only exception is if a woman’s life is in danger or the fetus is fatally flawed,” the abortionists brags.

Lest you think Parker is alone in his “claim” that he is a “Christian” in abortion circles – a Dallas abortion doctor was once an ordained minister.

Boyd WFAA Article

Curtis Boyd, once told a local media outlet that he knows he is killing…..

Am I killing?” Boyd said. “Yes, I am. I know that.

Boyd said he is an ordained Baptist minister who has now turned Unitarian. He said he prays often.

I’ll ask that the spirit of this pregnancy be returned to God with love and understanding,” he said.

BARF !!!

Then there is abortion giant Planned Parenthood which sells abortions to young girls taking American tax dollars to do it.

This blogger recently uncovered the fact that Planned Parenthood was USING GOD to sell the killing of children:

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter Header.

In a Pastoral Letter to Patients, Planned Parenthood tells women and girls in a crisis pregnancy that there is nothing in the scriptures that says abortion is wrong and that many clergy think abortion is okay:

The decision to have an abortion is personal. Though your reasons may be complicated and private, you’re not alone. As religious leaders from a number of religious traditions, we’re here to
support you in your decision.

Many people wrongly assume that all religious leaders disapprove of abortion. The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the Scriptures—Jewish or Christian—and there are clergy and people of faith from all denominations who support women making this complex decision.

The beliefs of each person are deserving of respect, and each person deserves care and compassion,
No one should be allowed to force their faith teachings on anyone else.

We believe this decision is yours, made with your doctor and anyone else you choose to bring into the conversation, such as a spouse, partner, parent, or clergy person.”

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter PG 1.

The letter goes on to tell the FUTURE PAYING ABORTION CUSTOMER that, “God loves you and is with you no matter what you decide. You can find strength, understanding, and comfort in that love.”

One has to wonder in all the efforts to demonize Christians by the abortion lobby- why they are all-of-a-sudden finding god (little g) – perhaps – they have discovered that using God to sell abortions can be profitable ! Just Say’n…..

More disgusting heresy

NOW is trying to raise funds of the Pro-life 40 days protesters:

The Fountain Street Church Choice Fund and the Heritage Clinic are putting on a 40 Days for Choice Fundraiser. You can purchase a ticket online for $24 that symbolizes 24 hours of counter-protest against Right to Life’s intrusive campaign. You can purchase a day of “counter-protest” and dedicate that day to a person, story, cause, etc. All proceeds go directly to helping women in Grand Rapids afford abortion procedures.

The event’s FB page reads:

It is time again for the “40 Days for Life” Anti-Choice event. Individuals will be standing outside Heritage Clinic for Women 24/7 from September 26 through November 4, praying to end the option of abortion. Learn more about this by clicking here… http://www.40daysforlife.com/grandrapids

To counter this anti-choice demonstration, we are holding a “40 Days for CHOICE” event to raise money and awareness for the Fountain Street Church Choice Fund which provides faith loans to women who feel an abortion is their wisest choice but cannot afford to exercise their choice without financial help.
