UNFPA: Family Planning a Human Right ! Can you say Eugenic Population Control?

The world economy would be boosted by billions of dollars if all women had access to contraception, the United Nations said on Wednesday in its annual State of World Population report.

The report said inadequate family planning in developing countries contributed significantly to poverty and ill health, and that $5.7 billion could be saved by preventing unintended pregnancies and unsafe abortions.

Eugenics Attitude:

In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson stated in a speech, that every five dollars the government spent on population control was worth more than a hundred dollars invested in economic growth. In 1966, Johnson accepted Planned Parenthood’s highest award (the Margaret Sanger Award) for his policies pushing family planning on foreign countries. (Sanger founded Planned Parenthood, was a racist member of the American Eugenics Society who admitted she gave a Klan Speech)

Johnson was a staunch supporter of the racist /eugenics founded Planned Parenthood organization. Here (LBJ) Lyndon B. Johnson accepts the Margaret Sanger Award and it is mentioned that Dwight D. Eisenhower and Harry S. Truman are co-chairs of a Planned Parenthood honorary council- here

This clip from the documentary MAAFA21 shows how saying that Family Planning reduces “Costs” is a Scheme by the Elite to force population control:

“FAMILY PLANNING [ in poor countries] A RIGHT”

Family planning is not a privilege, but a right. Yet, too many women — and men — are denied this human right,” said Babatunde Osotimehin, executive director of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA).

“The data that we have shows that access to family planning unlocks unprecedented rewards, both at the individual and national level,” the former Nigerian health minister told a press conference in London.

“Women who have access to family planning can contribute enormously to economic development. The accumulated effect of these highly personal decisions can influence entire countries and regions.”

The United Nation’s Population Fund’s (UNFPA) Annual Report published on November 14, 2012, is entitled “By Choice, Not by Chance: Family Planning, Human Rights and Development,” Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, the executive director of the fund, described family planning-which is code for artificial contraception-as a universal human right.

“Family planning is a human right,” wrote Dr. Osotimehin. “It must therefore be available to all who want it. But clearly this right has not yet been extended to all, especially in the poorest countries. Obstacles remain. Some have to do with the quality and availability of supplies and services, but many others have to do with economic circumstances and social constraints.”

Dr. Osotimehin seeks to spend an extra $4.1 billion a year to make family planning available to anyone who wants it. “Family planning is still more akin to a privilege enjoyed by some rather than a universal right exercised by all.”

Written on Page 3 of the document is this astounding statement:

Reproductive rights encompass both freedoms and entitlements involving civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights. The right to decide the number and spacing of children is integral to the reproductive rights framework and is therefore directly related to other basic human rights, including:
The right to life;
• The right to liberty and security of person;
• The right to health, including sexual and reproductive health;
• The right to consent to marriage and to equality in marriage;
• The right to privacy;
• The right to equality and non-discrimination;
• The right not to be subjected to torture or other cruel, inhuman, or
degrading treatment or punishment;
• The right to education, including access to sexuality education;
• The right to participate in the conduct of public affairs and the right to
free, active and meaningful participation;
• The right to seek, impart and receive information and to have freedom
of expression;
• The right to benefit from scientific progress

The so-called “RIGHT to LIFE” is often denied under the “Reproductive Rights” agenda, which includes Emergency Contraception and Abortion.

In April of 2012, IPPF ( International Planned Parenthood Federation) held a luncheon where the UNFPA leader spoke. According to IPPF, Dr. Osotimehin stated that universal access to sexual and reproductive health remains an urgent challenge and that youth need safe spaces to express themselves. He spoke about the positive impact investments in girls has on global development and explained that comprehensive sexuality education not only helps youth make informed decisions about their personal well being; it also improves the lives of everyone in their community.

World leaders to meet in London in July to pour cash into family planning in the developing world

The Guardian is reported that A major summit was planned for July that aimed to pour money into family planning in the developing world after almost two decades of neglect, particularly during the Bush years.

Parallel to this, millions of dollars are being spent by the Gates Foundation on developing more efficient forms of contraception, particularly injections that might only be required once every six months or annually.

The executive director of the UN Population Fund, Babatunde Osotimehin, in an interview with the Guardian, described proposals at the summit to turn family planning into a global movement as “transformational”.

It was organized by none other than the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the British government’s department for international development (DFID). Between 20 and 25 countries are scheduled to attend, including the US, India, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Tanzania.

The aim of the summit was to provide better family planning in 69 of the poorest countries with low rates of contraception. Much of the $4bn will come from the health budgets of these countries, with the rest coming from the Gates Foundation, DFID and other countries.

Osotimehin said: “It is about global planning … what will it take to provide these facilities to women and girls around the world and actually change the course of their lives. That is what will make it transformational.”

The event was also sponsored by the UNFPA. SURPRISE !!!!!

Bill Gates and Planned Parenthood:

GATES: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it’s fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that.
My mom was on the United Way group that decides how to allocate the money and looks at all the different charities and makes the very hard decisions about where that pool of funds is going to go. So I always knew there was something about really educating people and giving them choices in terms of family size.

This is masking the Eugenic NASSM200 plan:

Listen to what our own president, Lyndon B. Johnson had to say< LBJ Faces up a Crisis: Johnson also stated, “Nations with food deficits must put more of their resources into voluntary family planning programs.” ( SOURCE: Lewiston Evening Journal – Feb 2, 1967 , from Johnson’s 1967 State of the Union Address )

On December 10, 1974, the United States National Security Council promulgated National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM-200), also called The Kissinger Report. This document explicitly laid out a detailed strategy by which the United States would aggressively promote population control in developing nations in order to regulate (or have better access to) the natural resources of these countries.

In order to protect U.S. commercial interests, NSSM-200 cited a number of factors that could interrupt the smooth flow of materials from lesser-developed countries, LDCs as it called them, to the United States, including a large population of anti-imperialist youth, who must, according to NSSM-200, be limited by population control. The document identified 13 nations by name that would be primary targets of U.S.-funded population control efforts.

According to NSSM-200, elements of the implementation of population control programs could include: a) the legalization of abortion; b) financial incentives for countries to increase their abortion, sterilization and contraception-use rates; c) indoctrination of children; and d) mandatory population control, and coercion of other forms, such as withholding disaster and food aid unless an LDC implements population control programs.

While the CIA and Departments of State and Defense have issued hundreds of papers on population control and national security, the U.S. government has never renounced NSSM-200, but has only amended certain portions of its policy. NSSM-200, therefore, remains the foundational document on population control issued by the United States government.

In 1969, Guttmacher as then President of Planned Parenthood-World Population, said this: “ I would like to give our voluntary means of population control full opportunity in the next 10 to 12 years. Then , if these don’t succeed, we may have to go into some kind of coercion, not worldwide, but possibly in such places as India, Pakistan, and Indonesia, where pressures are the greatest…There is no question that birth rates can be reduced all over the world if legal abortion is introduced…” ( SOURCE: Family Planning: The needa and the Methods, by: Alan F. Guttmacher; The American Journal of Nursing, Vol. 69, No. 6. (June, 1969) PP. 1229-1234)

And in February of 1970 Alan Guttmacher was interviewed by the Baltimore Magazine and said this
Our birth rate has come down since we last talked.. I think we’ve hit a plateau- the figure’s not likely to drop much more unless there is more legal abortion. , or abortion on request as we call it…My own feeling is that we’ve got to pull out all the stops and involve the United Nations…If you’re going to curb population, it’s extremely important not to have it done by the dammed Yankees, but by the UN. Because the thing is, then it’s not considered genocide. If the United States goes to the Black man or the yellow man and says slow down your reproduction rate, we’re immediately suspected of having ulterior motives to keep the white man dominant in the world. If you can send in a colorful UN force, you’ve got much better leverage.”

Kenyans did NOT Want abortion legalized. The United States forced it on them under NSSM reasons – In fact, when they stood against the legalization, they were bombed: A peaceful anti-constitution protest and prayer service on June 13, 2010 turned violent when two bombs exploded, killing six people and injuring over 100 more, according to Kenyan newspaper The Standard.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Not only were opponents being bombed, their leaders were being arrested. Three members of the Kenyan parliament were taken into custody on June 16 on charges of alleged hate speech relating to their prominent leadership in opposing the new constitution.

Three other members of parliament were also accused of hate speech, including Higher Education Minister William Ruto, widely seen as a leader in the campaign against the new pro-abortion constitution. The Obama administration offered “incentives” to Kenya to approve the pro-abortion constitution legalizing abortion for the first time, promising that passage will “allow money to flow” into the nation’s coffers, including U.S. aid. The pressure worked and Kenya passed it.

This is about POPULATION CONTROL – Increasing abortions in African nations is part of the NSSM200 plan.

Simply listen to the words ex Planned Parenthood President, Alan Guttmacher told a symposium at the University of California Medical Center in 1966 he stated that, “the belief that the white middle class was coercing their own poor and people with black and yellow skins to reduce family size because the middle-class whites are frightened of being outnumbered.”

The only way the mounting feeling that birth control is a tool of racism can be handled, is to involve knowledgeable leaders from the minority groups who understand and are favorable to the philosophy of birth control. They, in turn, must translate their appreciation of the contribution which birth control can make toward family stability to their own people.” (SOURCE: New York Times: Doctor blames his profession for delays on Family Planning: 1/16/1966)

Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member in good standing with the racist American Eugenics Society. Sanger had boards members who were known for their racist writing and Sanger published many of those in her publications. Sanger called for parents to have a QUOTE: LICENSE TO BREED controlled by people who believed in her eugenic philosophy. She wanted all would be parents to go before her eugenic boards to request a “PERMIT TO BREED“.

Margaret Sanger once said, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.” Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

In Margaret Sanger’s, “Birth Control and Racial Betterment,” Feb 1919. Birth Control Review , Library of Congress Microfilm 131:0099B .
Sanger states, “Before eugenists and others who are laboring for racial betterment can succeed, they must first clear the way for Birth Control. Like the advocates of Birth Control, the eugenists, for instance, are seeking to assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit. Both are seeking a single end but they lay emphasis upon different methods.

Eugenists emphasize the mating of healthy couples for the conscious purpose of producing healthy children, the sterilization of the unfit to prevent their populating the world with their kind and they may, perhaps, agree with us that contraception is a necessary measure among the masses of the workers, where wages do not keep pace with the growth of the family and its necessities in the way of food, clothing, housing, medical attention, education and the like.

We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the unfit but upon stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health.While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfitEugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit…

Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons and immoral‘ , to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”.

I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people. Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.
Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger, 1950

In addition, Planned Parenthood’s top award is called the Margaret Sanger Award, despite the fact that Sanger was an admitted Klan speaker. This is what Sanger wrote in her autobiography, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

Pro-Life group suspicious of “Helping Haiti” conference call from the United Nations Population Fund

From: Pro-Life Action League:

“Helping” Haiti
Posted by Corrina Gura (January 27, 2010 at 6:22 pm)

Tuesday morning I took a phone call from a woman who asked if Ann Scheidler would be participating in the UNFPA/UNIFEM (the United Nations Population Fund and United Nations Development Fund for Women) conference call that day.

I was rather surprised the Pro-Life Action League was invited in on such a call, so I asked Ann if I could take her place (Ann has been swamped with the details for the upcoming SpeakOut Illinois Conference). She RSVP’ed to the email address provided, telling them I would be on the call.
Improving Care For Pregnant Women

I called in, provided the password to the operator, told them I was calling on behalf of Ann Scheidler at the Pro-Life Action League, and was connected to the call.

Tamara Kreinin, the executive director for the UN foundation for Women and Population was leading the conference call. She began by saying that “pregnant women were the hardest hit” by the earthquake, and how particularly upsetting this was, since Haiti had been making major progress towards the Millennium Development goals.

Kreinin added that the lifetime risk of a Haitian woman dying in childbirth is huge: about 1 in 47.
Questionable Help

She then talked about the money that has been given thus far to help Haiti (about $3.6 million through the UN).

But just when I thought maybe I was wrong about the pro-abortion, pro-contraceptive goals of the UNFPA and UNIFEM, Kreinin observed that “empowering women and girls is key to eliminating poverty and stabilizing the population.”
UN Promotes “Dignity”—But That’s Not All

Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, formerly of Mercy Malaysia and currently chief of the UN Population Fund Humanitarian Response branch, then took over the call. She was preparing to travel to Haiti later that afternoon.

She mentioned the high rate of complications during pregnancies in Haiti and that they are distributing “safe delivery” kits.

She spoke about “dignity,” observing how natural processes like menstruation do not stop because your home has been destroyed by an earthquake. She said the UN was distributing care packages with feminine hygiene products to these women. About 1.5 million of these kits have been distributed.

Dr. Mahmood mentioned that “gender-based violence” was a major problem in Haiti, and that her organization was busy distributing “rape kits” to help the situation.
Reproductive Health Kits

The call was then opened to questions. A reporter from Glamour Magazine asked how people could best help. Mahmood told her people should give money (not goods).

The next question was from Mary Pack of the International Medical Corps. Pack asked how to best spread the message about “violence prevention”.

Mahmood answered that they were spreading radios around to women (though I’m a bit unclear about the purpose of this project) and that they were providing “reproductive health kits” to women. She said there were plenty of these kits to go around, “just ask for them.”
Pro-Lifers Need Not Apply

This piqued my curiosity. What exactly is in a “reproductive health kit?” I pressed *1 to ask a question…and was disconnected.

I called back in and spoke to the operator, informing him that I had been disconnected. I was on the call long enough to hear a woman asking that very question—”what is in a reproductive health kit?”—when another operator interrupted my connection. She brusquely told me those in charge of the call “would not like parties of that affiliation [presumably the “pro-life” affiliation] to be on the call” and I was disconnected.
So What Is In The Kit?

So what type of help is the United Nations providing that they are embarrassed for pro-lifers to know about?

There seem to be several kits distributed in “blocks” [PDF] (groups of several kits). Here are the highlights of these kits:

* subkit no. 1: 14,400 male condoms and 450 female condoms
* subkit no. 3: dozens of doses of “emergency contraceptives”
* subkit no. 4: hundreds of doses of birth control pills and more “emergency contraceptives”
* subkit no. 5: another 3,000 condoms
* subkit no. 7: dozens of IUDs
* subkit no. 8: a “management of complications of abortions” kit
* subkit no. 10: a “vacuum extraction subkit” (presumably for performing D&C abortions)

Planned Parenthood is also encouraging people to donate to UNFPA. According to Dawn Stacey, a former Planned Parenthood “counselor”:

The donations (Planned Parenthood is promoting) will help UNFPA provide emergency reproductive health kits…These kits could essentially function as OB wards as they contain essential drugs, equipment and supplies to provide lifesaving services to pregnant women.

Even if I trusted Planned Parenthood (which I don’t), after reading the contents of these kits I would be questioning how many pregnant women giving birth on the side of the road these would be going to help.

After reading about their kits, I’m no longer surprised they hung up on me. But, it still baffles me that they asked us to be on the call in the first place.

In the film Maafa21 Black Genocide in 21st Century America, Florida Abortion Clinic owner, Joyce Tarnow makes some stunning comments on population control. Among those statements are disturbing comments regarding Haiti, which she made to a local Florida newspaper.

In a July 15,2004 News Times article , they quote former abortionist Joyce Tarnow as saying:

America “can’t take all the people in the world,” “We need to help nations that can subsist and let others wither on the vine.”

And how about this sensitive approach to countries like Haiti, which, she says, “has denuded the whole land“? “Stew in your own juices,“.

This is the way these pro-abortion people feel about people of “color” in my view. Just like recent comments by Harry Reid, it is time African Americans and minorities wake up and see how these supposed liberal progressives view them.

In the interview below of Tarnow from Maafa21, she quotes population control author, Paul Ehrlich who co-authored books with Obama’s Science Czar, John P. Holdren. Tarnow clearly advocates Darwin’s “Survival of the fittest” and says that the US should not help those nations who “cannot help themselves.”

Watch Tarnow Interview at .20 seconds into this:

Is abortion clinic owner, Joyce Tarnow’s wish coming true after the Haiti Earthquake?

In the same News Times article Joyce Tarnow reveals her true motives:

Fertility is an environmental issue,” she says. “That’s why I try to get as many people sterilized as are in my way!”

Tarnow, is the former owner of the Women’s Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida: which performed approx 800 to 900 abortions per year, with many clients being low income of Haiitian. Tarnow was a proud member of the National Abortion Federation.

Tarnow works tirelessly to make sure that the ones she didn’t get through abortion are NEVER allowed into this country through immigration. She is president of the anti-immigration group: Floridians for a Sustainable Population.

She is also listed on the anti-immigration group FAIR as one of their “local contacts” . FAIR stands for the Federation for American Immigration Reform and they are run by former “Zero Population Growth” and “Planned Parenthood” members.

A group which opposes Tarnow states that, “To pursue this agenda, Ms. Tarnow founded and leads the fringe population control group called Floridians for a Sustainable Population. A close reading of the group’s Web site reveals more of their agenda: they call for limiting families to two children; cutting benefits for newborns; higher taxes on families; severe restrictions on legal immigration; and more. “

It is interesting to me that an organization whose opponents accuse of generating Black Genocide thru abortion would be seeking donations to render “aid” to earthquake victims in Haiti.
