Today, Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, Inc. a national pro-life organization located in Denton, Texas, is calling for the professor who attacked a pro-life teen on the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), to be fired.

On his monthly pro-life TV show, Life Talk, Crutcher, asked how parents can send their kids to UCSB where this professor remains employed after allegedly committing an act of assault on a 16 year-old teen, “What is wrong with the parents and the students themselves…paying all this money to go to an institution that would have a woman like this on staff?”

Crutcher then asks why the professor, Mireille Miller-Young, was not fired, calling her continued employment “bad judgment” on the part of UCSB, “Why wasn’t she fired? If I had a kid going there, first off I am going to call the school and say, you’re not getting another nickel from me as long as this woman’s on staff. Because, it indicates bad judgment on your part.”

Crutcher was outraged that UCSB has allowed Miller-Young to remain on staff despite her admitting to police that she “set a good example for her students” in stealing another person’s property.

Crutcher told his audience, that if he had a child in attendance at UCSB he would remove his financial support from the school immediately.

Crutcher said that if he were a parent, he would tell the school, “You’re judgment is so poor that this woman can admit that she did this thing and then come out and say I had the right to do it? And you’re going to keep her on staff, and you’re going to let her try to mold young minds? Not with my money, you’re not. Why are students still going there and why are parents still paying for it? That’s the part I don’t understand.”

School where professor attacked pro-life teen claims they were visited by “proselytizers hawking intolerance in the name of religious belief”

The California school that employs a professor accused of attacking a teen-aged pro-life demonstrator has issued an apology…sort of, according to Fox News.

In a long-winded 1,000-word letter that reads more like a diatribe than a mea culpa, University of California at Santa Barbara Vice Chancellor Michael Young eventually conceded that women’s studies professor Mireille Miller-Young should not have snatched a pro-life sign from 16-year-old Thrin Short, giving backhanded praise to the framers of the Constitution.

Miller Young

According to National Review, When the university finally opened up after several weeks of silence on the matter, the administration did not condemn the unnecessary and spiteful attack by a member of its faculty. Instead, it attacked the “anti-abortion crusaders” and “evangelical types” who came to campus “to provoke us, to taunt us and attempt to turn us against one another.”

Our Founding Fathers – all white men of privilege, some even slave owners – got it right when designing the First Amendment of the Constitution,” Young wrote in an open memo to the student body.

In a Memo to students and faculty from UC Santa Barbara, Vice Chancellor Michael D. Young writes, “Over the past several weeks, our campus has been visited by a number of outside groups and individuals coming here to promote an ideology, to promulgate particular beliefs (at times extreme beliefs), or simply to create discord that furthers a certain personal agenda. Some passionately believe in their causes, while others peddle hate and intolerance with less than noble aims.

Whatever the motives and goals, the presence of such people and groups on campus can be disruptive and has the potential to draw us into the kind of conflict that puts at risk the quality of exchange of ideas that is fundamental to the mission of our university. What is happening now is not new: evangelical types have been visiting UCSB and university campuses since time immemorial. What we see at UCSB today is simply the most recent generation of true believers, self proclaimed prophets, and provocateurs.

During the past few weeks, UCSB has been visited by various anti abortion crusaders. Some have been considerate and thoughtful in promoting their message; others have
openly displayed images that many in our community find distressing and offensive. We have also seen earnest and thoughtful religious missionaries, and we have seen
proselytizers hawking intolerance in the name of religious belief
.As a consequence of interactions with the more extreme of our visitors, students have expressed outrage, pain, embarrassment, fear, hurt, and feelings of harassment. Moreover, I have received requests that the campus prohibit the peddling of “fear,” “hate,” “intolerance,” and “discord” here at UCSB

On March 22 – The Santa Barbara District Attorney filed charges of grand theft, battery, and vandalism against Professor Mireille Miller-Young for violence she committed against young pro-life activists who held a peaceful outreach on the UC Santa Barbara campus on March 4th.

March 27, 2014 the The radical pro-abortion professor at the University of California at Santa Barbara made headlines when she went berserk on a group of pro-life advocates on campus earlier this month.

The professor claimed that she set a good example when she attempted to incite students to violence and initiated the theft of a pro-life activist’s sign. We hope that the only example set by her actions is that crime will not be tolerated by the DA, nor the University of California. The prosecution should reach a resolution that deters anyone from committing these crimes again.

Catherine Short is the mother of 21-year-old Joan Short and 16-year-old Trin Short, two of the young women assaulted by the professor. She is also an attorney and Life Legal Defense Foundation Legal Director and issued a full statement about the case HERE.

Thrin Short was also interviewed on the pro-life TV show – Life Talk which can be viewed here:

The pro-life group who trained the activists, Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust responded in a press release, “We hope the DA will also file charges against the students who received the stolen property, and aided and abetted Miller-Young’s crimes. The students’ crimes were caught on video. Will they be held accountable for any of it? Do they just walk? Not charging them sends the message that students they will not be held accountable for their actions.”

Mary Elizabeth Williams keep your Morality to yourself !

MEWilliams_Bio-75x75 Writing for Salon Magazine – Mary Elizabeth Williams gives a very stern warning to pro-choicers who assault and steal from “anti-abortion protesters.”

Lets tell the back story.

On March 4, 2014 two young pro-life women with the group Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust led a pro-life outreach at UC Santa Barbara.

milleryoungDuring the event pro-lifers say that pro-choice Mireille Miller-Young, a UC Santa Barbara professor of Feminist Studies whose areas of study include Pornography; Sex Work; and Feminist & Queer Theory stole the pro-life sign from a young pro-life activist who was trained by Survivors. Miller then took the sign into an elevator, where she repeatedly pushed, and even pulled the victim, who was attempting to hold the elevator doors open until police arrived, according to members of Survivors.

Miller Young

A video of the incident was posted online and soon the media was a buzz with the pro-choice intolerance:

Back to Mary Elizabeth Williams – she writes, “Ignoring the trolls – it’s not just good advice online. It’s indispensable in real life too. You see, this should have been a slam dunk. Instead, we have a tale in which radical anti-choice protesters wind up being depicted in the media as good guys.”

According to Mary Elizabeth Williams, “Accounts vary as to what exactly happened when the Christian group descended on UCSB earlier this month, but according to 21-year-old Joan Short, she and her 16-year-old sister Thrin were displaying three large signs and handing out literature when Dr. Mireille Miller-Young approached them, and a heated exchange ensued. Miller-Young allegedly then led a group of students in a chant of “Tear down the sign! Tear down the sign!” before taking one of the banners away from the girls and walking away. What follows in the video the “Survivors” group has released shows the professor and two other females walking into a building with a very large sign that appears to depict a bloody fetus. When the girls call her a thief, she yells back, “I may be a thief but you’re a terrorist.”

Now – this is the same Mary Elizabeth Williams who once wrote an article for Salon entitled “So What If Abortion Ends A Life“. Quoting the article and Ms. Williams, “I know that throughout my own pregnancies, I never wavered for a moment in the belief that I was carrying a human life inside of me. I believe that’s what a fetus is: a human life. And that doesn’t make me one iota less solidly pro-choice…Here’s the complicated reality in which we live: All life is not equal. That’s a difficult thing for liberals like me to talk about, lest we wind up looking like death-panel-loving, kill-your-grandma-and-your-precious-baby storm troopers. Yet a fetus can be a human life without having the same rights as the woman in whose body it resides. She’s the boss. Her life and what is right for her circumstances and her health should automatically trump the rights of the non-autonomous entity inside of her. Always. When we on the pro-choice side get cagey around the life question, it makes us illogically contradictory.”

Moving back to the violent professor Mary Elizabeth Wiliams with no concept of morality appears to get some morality when she writes:

“These antiabortion groups are sneaky and disruptive and they fully count on provoking an emotional response and playing victim when they get one. When it happens, they have a field day. So here’s a reminder: don’t do it. Don’t take their stuff. It’s called stealing, and you’re going to have a hard time convincing anybody otherwise. Don’t push them. Don’t touch them at all. If they’re trespassing, have them removed. If they’re creating a disturbance, call a cop. But don’t give them ammunition.”

Mary Elizabeth Williams ends her tirade with this sentence, “This week, Michigan’s “rape insurance” law has gone into effect. Clinics are closing. New laws are trying to impose longer waiting times for women before letting them obtain abortions. Our reproductive rights are being chipped away in this country. We are in a full-blown crisis. And the last thing on earth we need right now is to look like we’re the out of control ones here.”

So there you have it people. Rather than declare the right to protest, free speech, the excitement that young women would be counter-cultural and stand up to the establishment Professor seeking to censor them, the “Right to choose” to speak your own mind without Government or shall we say School interference, feminist Mary Elizabeth Williams appears angry – almost embarrassed that her side- the intolerant “pro-choice” side was exposed on national media for the hypocrites and violent people they really are.

Mary Elizabeth Williams has taken it upon herself to scold the pro-choice left in this country and to define what is and is NOT acceptable behavior – something they seem to loathe when the pro-life right does it.

Let’s recap: pushing your morality on others by by telling or in this case showing people who choose to slaughter innocent babies in the womb they are wrong is totally unacceptable. However, you ARE allowed to lecture your fellow pro-choicers about how to behave around pro-lifers so as to not “look like we’re the out of control ones here.”

Get it – or just confused?
