Planned Parenthood letter scheme encourages abortion opponents

Posted in Cecile Richards, Center for Medical Progress with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 15, 2015 by saynsumthn

A new trend of letters signed by Planned Parenthood’s president Cecile Richards to opponents of the abortion business has been emerging. Richards apparently has not been busy enough defending her multi-million dollar tax funded organizations’ participation in the selling and harvesting of aborted baby parts, she is now busy signing letters to her opponents.

The letters are in response to a donation made to the abortion biz in the name of someone who ardently opposes Planned Parenthood.

But rather than discouraging the recipients, the letters appear to be more of a badge of honor to those they were delivered to. In fact, Saynsumthn obtained the permission of the recipients, to published them below.

Each letter states the following:

    Dear [ name]

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is pleased to let you know that a generous and thoughtful contribution has been made in your honor by: [name on contributor]

    We send our warmest regards.

    Cecile Richards,
    president, PPFA.

Cheryl Sullenger, Operation Rescue’s Senior Vice President, was the recipient of one of the thank you letters.

It just re-emphasized to me how desperate Cecile Richards and Planned Parenthood are and how effective our work has been,” Sullenger told Live Action News.

Operation Rescue has in the forefront of the effort to expose Planned Parenthood. Their president, Troy Newman sits on the board of the Center for Medical Progress credited for the multi-year investigation uncovering the abortion giant’s baby harvesting operation.

Another recipient was Rusty Thomas, National Director of Operation Save America (OSA).

He told Saynsumthn that he suspects he received the letter because OSA has concentrated a lot on Planned Parenthood since the Center for Medical Progress videos uncovered their baby harvesting atrocities.

A letter was also sent to an activist from Abolish Human Abortion, a group which opposes abortion but does not refer to themselves a pro-life.

Todd Bullis PLanned Parenthood Letter_704261626191210154_n

Todd Bullis told this blogger that he assumes the person who made a Planned Parenthood contribution in his name must of thought it would bother him, which it did not.

There seems to be no legitimate reason to contribute to Planned Parenthood in the name of someone who opposes abortion, unless of course, the donor wants help Cecile Richards continue to earn her hefty six digit salary.

The letters follow another trend of odd behavior where abortion advocates mailed glitter bombs to pro-life groups in a failed attempt to discourage them.

The concept mirrors ongoing pro-abortion fundraising efforts such as “pledge a picketer,” and “adopt and anti,” to try and discourage 40 Days for Life and other groups from going to abortion clinics to offer help to women.

PP PLedge a picket 40 days

But, as much as Planned Parenthood’s latest scheme seems geared toward dissuading activists from opposing abortion, they are having the opposite effect. Opponents of Planned Parenthood say that they are more determined than ever to topple the industry which slaughters children and sells their parts for research. And, some even find the ridiculous letters signed by Cecile Richards encouraging.

If we were ineffective, she wouldn’t bother to try play ridiculous mind games with us. It’s encouraging!” Sullenger stated.

Being in foster care is better than being dead says kid to abortion activist

Todd Bullis regularly stands outside churches and high schools in Little Elm, Texas to show the reality of abortion.

He calls himself an abortion abolitionist but is often referred to as the most hated man in the city.

He has been opposed by parents, school staff and even a councilman by the name of Nick Musteen.

Bullis has some unique conversations with students, parents, post-abortive women, and others he agitates with his graphic images of the abortion victims.

Below is one of those conversations, a discussion with a foster child.

The sweet little girl recently learned that Todd and his wife had several foster kids, prompting her to speak to him.

She tells Bullis that being in foster care is much better than being dead from an abortion.

Christian man dating Planned Parenthood worker asks what abortion has to do with him

A man outside a San Diego Planned Parenthood who said his girlfriend worked at the abortion facility was confronted because he claimed to be a Christian.

AHA PP San Diego 048692_442590003_o

He tells an activist from Abolish Human Abortion (AHA) that he works for a Christian organization called, “Uplift, for intercity youth and children…for Urban people living in faith and trust.

He even gives him a business card.

Mans GF PP Uplift

When told by AHA activist, Todd Bullis that Planned Parenthood rips the arms and legs off unborn babies and crushes their skulls he responded by asking, “What does that have to do with me?

Bullis asked the Christian man if he believed he was his brother’s keeper.

Mans GF PP

Okay, but let me ask you one question,” the man replies.

“If they are doing what you say they’re doing in here-what does that have to do with me?” the man asks Bullis.

You live in a town that sacrifices children. God says you are accountable for what happens in your town, Biblicaly,” said Bullis.

Until I witness something, until I actually see it, I can’t be compelled to do something that I don’t know if it is true or not,” the man replied.

He claims he doesn’t know what his girlfriend does at Planned Parenthood and he thinks all she does is answer the phone.

Bullis points out that she probably makes the abortion appointments.

He asks again,”Going back to what I said – what does that have to do with me?”

One thing that I know, I don’t even know what goes on in abortion clinics. Okay, but hypothetically say you’re right, that’s exactly what goes on in there. The best thing I can do is just pray about it,” the man surmises.

That’s not true,” said Bullis,”You can expose it.”

You do your part, I gotta do my part, I’ve got other things to do,” he says.

Sadly, this “see no evil” attitude is prevalent in many who claim to be Christians.

It’s not rocket science for anyone with a little heart and compassion for innocent children.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion clinic chain in the United States.

What they do is no secret.

In fact, it is written right on the website where the man’s girlfriend works:

Planned Parenthood San Diego

In 2013 Planned Parenthood boasted that they slaughtered 327,653 unborn babies through abortion nationwide.

In 2012-Planned Parenthood reported performing 327,166 abortions.

In 2011, Planned Parenthood reported performing 333,964 abortions.

That San Diego Planned Parenthdood abortion clinic kills unborn babies up to 24 weeks. Or as they describe it on their website, “In-clinic abortion is offered up to 23 weeks and 6 days.”

The abortion clinic is operated by Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest.

In 2012, they performed 14,357 abortions and in 2011, 16,309 babies died.

Teen on Anti-abortion Father: My Dad Has Inspired Me !

Those who associate with the anti-abortion group, Abolish Human Abortion (AHA ) refuse to call themselves pro-life.

In fact, there are major differences between the two groups and even some hostility.

It would be too much to go into detail here, but, a close glance at the social media pages of AHA shows you that the group likes to criticize what they call the “Pro-life Movement.”

Dont call AHA Prolife

Because of this – there is much fighting between the so-called abortion abolitionists and many rank-in-file pro-lifers.

In fact, I have been one of those who has opposed AHA, generally.

Having said that, I also observe that some of what they do – I can get behind and agree with.

But, no matter what your views are on what Abolish Human Abortion members do or believe, I have come across a story involving a member of AHA which I feel is very touching.

It is from the daughter of one of the more well known Abolitionists members from Texas – Todd Bullis.

Todd is quite the character and, in full discloser, I happen to know Todd personally. He and I have gone our rounds on the Abolitionist vs. Pro-life strategy to ending abortion, believe me. We have had many heated conversations regarding statements and actions by AHA over the last year or so.

Recently, Todd has been engaged Abolish Human Abortion’s Project Frontlines which encourages their members to take images of abortion victims in front of high schools.

The strategy of using abortion victim images in public and in front of schools was not invented by AHA, pro-lifers have been doing this for many years. In fact, pro-life groups such as Justice for All, Created Equal and the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform and others have also used graphic imagery in front of schools for a long time.

The tactic is not without criticism though. There are some within the pro-life camp who believe that one should never use a graphic aborted baby image on a poster in public. Others would limit the use of those images to the public square but would exclude showing them to women seeking abortions. The majority of the pro-life movement seems to approve of the use of these images.

Apparently, so does AHA.

In fact, this blogger has pointed out that AHA’s creation of their graphic posters is directly linked to the pro-life movement who were the ones who risked it all to document the horrors of abortion in the first place.

But, I digress, back to Todd…

Todd Bullis school.

As I stated, Todd has implemented Project Frontlines and has recently positioned himself squarely in front of a High School in his local community of Little Elm, Texas. For this, Todd has been highly criticized. All alone, he stood exposing students to the horrors of legalized abortion in America. This blogger has written about the attacks he received from parents within the community here.

What many people do not know, is that because of Todd’s convictions and willingness to take criticism- the Mayor of Little Elm, spoke up on his behalf telling members of Todd’s church that, “Holding a sign on a corner is not extreme, even though it may be offensive to some. Holding a sign on a corner means you’re standing up for something. And, I will tell you the one thing I got out of this….finally, a man stood up for something in this country- we’re missing that. I have no greater admiration than anyone who stands up against evil. I also admire the strength that it takes to exercise the delivery of that message.”

You can read the full story on this blog here.

Next, Todd has set his sights on Frisco – a High School school which his own daughter attends. In response, the school has sent out a warning to parents in the community:

Ranger Nation

When I discovered that Todd was going to protest in front of his own daughter’s high school, I had to ask him- What does she think?

In reply, Todd sent me a poem which his daughter wrote, to respond to what people say about her father.

It was so heartwarming that I am publishing it here with their permission.

My father gets verbally & physically attacked for what he believes in.
Sounds absurd right?
You may be thinking “Hey that’s crazy” but what I am going to tell you now will make half of you change your mind.
My dad stands up against abortion.
Yep, that’s right.
The guy you see out there with the gruesome signs.
Now, it is a harsh subject, but I’m not here to talk about that.
I am here to state my views from the back.
Seeing your father being threatened and hurt, and people bringing down his self-worth.
All because, why?
because he decided to stand up for his perception of right.
Sure it’s been a tough run, being the daughter of the “crazy one”
but he is not an alien because he knows what he wants to be done.
People will treat him like a dog, maybe even less than one.
What he is doing may not agree with your views
but try to not only see it from the news.
Take it from an influential teen yeah, my dad’s a bit crazy but he has inspired me.
I learned to stand up for what I want, and for what I believe in,
and yeah, people will call you a treason
but take a step or two back and see.
What this world might become to be
when people decide it’s time to speak their minds
instead of keeping it all on the inside

Whatever your thoughts are of Todd Bullis or AHA or perhaps anyone who opposes abortion generally, you have to wonder what a parent is doing right that a teenaged girl and the Mayor of a city will both admire his stand.

For all the criticism Todd has endured, Todd has perhaps received the highest form of praise by his own flesh and blood, after all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, “Take it from an influential teen yeah, my dad’s a bit crazy but he has inspired me. I learned to stand up for what I want, and for what I believe in.”

What more could a parent ask for?

Mayor to anti-abortion activist: I have no greater admiration than anyone who stands up against evil

After several weeks of protesting outside a high school in Little Elm, Texas, and anti-abortion activist who was the target of the local media and parents who opposed his tactics has received support from a high ranking political figure.

For weeks anti-abortion abolitionist Todd Bullis, founder of the Abolitionist Society of Little Elm, has positioned himself in front of Little Elm High School, located just outside the Dallas metroplex to show kids what an abortion really looks like.

Bullis’ signs outside the school were described as graphic because they depicted aborted children.

Bullis became the target of a few outraged parents, who organized a counter protest which was caught on camera by a local Dallas TV station.

The parents, in an attempt to mock Bullis, labeled themselves the Goofy Sign Brigade, and held up silly signs meant to deter from Bullis’ impact.

Last Sunday, Mayor Hillock agreed to speak at Bullis’ church to address the controversy.

He began his speech by describing a former battle in this nation where people spoke out and where some became uncomfortable, the battle for freedom and civil rights for African Americans in America.

People were uncomfortable, people took sides,” Mayor Hillock explained about that fight for freedom, “People were killed over that one, but we don’t have to do that anymore.”

But people are still dying in this country,” said the Mayor, “just real little people, because people aren’t standing up for what they believe in.”

Today, in Little Elm,” the Mayor continued, “we’re contending with one [movement] that’s much the same, the abolition of abortion. Mr. Bullis and his family have taken a lot of grief in the past couple of weeks. But, they’ve taken it for the wrong reason. People aren’t opposed necessarily to the idea that Todd was trying to support they were upset about the way the message was presented.

The mayor then said he did not really believe with the way the counter protesters reacted to Bullis but that his job was to protect the Constitution and free speech.

He pointed out that if there had been a sign with butterflies that said “God loves you” the town would have had just as many people upset that there was a sign near the school that said God loves you. He also said that in America, you don’t have a right to not be offended and said he provided those complaining with a map on how they could drive to another entrance to avoid where Bullis was standing, stating that the comments that parents had that Bullis’ graphic abortion victim signs would scar their kids for life was kind of funny.

He then warned that there can be a risk if the message, albeit a good one, has a bad delivery.

But, Mayor Hillock returned to the issue at hand, and concluded, “Holding a sign on a corner is not extreme, even though it may be offensive to some.

Goofy Sign Brigade faces off with Abortion Abolitionist

Todd Bullis Litte Elm

For weeks anti-abortion abolitionist Todd Bullis, founder of the Abolitionist Society of Little Elm, has positioned himself in front of a high school in the small Texas town where he resides.

Todd Bullis school.

Bullis doesn’t hide much about his anti-abortion message. His signs outside Little Elm High School are described as graphic because they depict aborted children. He regularly posts his conversations between the teens and various outraged residents on YouTube

A few parents, upset that Bullis was showing the teens what happens to unborn children in an abortion, took to the sidewalks in a counter protest and the drama was caught on camera by a local Dallas TV station.

Leading the Goofy Sign Brigade, is Little Elm parent Mary Watkins, who claims that she is pro-life and thinks Bullis has gone too far.

Her group picked the day that the Dallas news arrived to stand on the street under the exact same Constitutional freedom that Bullis claims he has been granted, to mock Bullis with goofy signs in an attempt to show the kids how to combat Bullis’ message.

Parents 2

Goofy Sign Brigade

Bullis believes that it is important for these high schoolers to see this message since a majority of them may be faced with a decision to have an abortion in their life time.

Watkins disagrees siting two Elementary schools nearby.

Bullis has implemented Abolish Human Abortion’s Project Frontlines a plan that is viewed as controversial within the anti-abortion movement.

According to AHA, Project Frontlines is designed to bring the message of abolition to the doorsteps of government high schools and expose millions of students to the evil of abortion in the light of the Gospel.

One out of every four abortions in America is performed on a teenage girl,” they write on their website, “In Project Frontlines, we desire to reach these girls (and their potential and current boyfriends) with the truth before they find themselves compromising their purity or contemplating abortion. Countless girls are being led to the slaughter and being fed pro-choice misinformation in their government school education which is not only destroying the lives of countless pre-born human beings, but decimating the spiritual, and psychological state of our youth. We intend to reach students early, preemptively educate or reeducate them about the serious sin of abortion, and tell them the truth about sin, sex, and the way of life that leads to death…”

But…the effort is controversial because it exposes school kids to two subjects, religion and abortion. Both taboo!

However, whether you agree or disagree, abortion supporters already have their foot in the door of many public school with extremely graphic sex education which also promotes abortion.

According to the Little Elm Independent School District‘s website, a 2008 Denton County Community Services Directory for the students, includes abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood Denton Little ELm

Right on their website, Planned Parenthood tells kids they can receive care without parental consent:

PP Greater Texas

Nationwide, abortion giant Planned Parenthood has been criticized for their graphic marketing to teens. Perhaps Ms. Watkins and Mr. Bullis could team up to protect the kids from the potentially graphic nature of Planned Parenthood’s.

After all, one would assume that Ms. Watkins especially would be concerned about graphic images or videos or any propaganda put in front of children who attend the Little Elm school system:

Just what will Planned Parenthood show to school children? Here are some possibilities:

Explicit Body Descriptions:

What is Pre-Cum?

I didn’t Spew

The book Planned Parenthood sells for 10 year old kids called “It’s Perfectly Normal.” Click on the name to view. ( WARNING PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIAL)

The pictures from “It’s Perfectly Normal” contained pornographic images of cartoon characters engaging in various sex acts.

Parenthood’s web-site “Teen Talk” where “foreplay” is explicitly detailed and “outercourse” is promoted as safe sex, contraception, psychological relief and sexual fulfillment.

Maybe Planned Parenthood will hand these out to the children:

Or kids can learn this:
Planned Parenthood Sex Ed

Or they can watch this vid:
Its YourGame Planned Parenthood

But, not to worry Ms. Watkins and Mr. Bullis for if Planned Parenthood doesn’t get to your kids at the school- there is always the internet with despicable videos like these (here).

And should Little Elm’s kids actually get in front of a Planned Parenthood Counselor, they will get quite the graphic education in possibly adult sex acts like BDSM and more. (here)

Giving this reality, will we soon see Mr. Bullis’ graphic abortion signs alongside Ms. Watkin’s Goofy signs in front of Planned Parenthood? Your guess is as good as mine.
