“Lunch with Tim Gunn” was how Planned Parenthood South Texas’ advertised their annual fundraiser slotted for on March 5, 2015.
Prior to the event, the San Antonio Express said that Tim Gunn, “Project Runway’s” master of constructive criticism, is on the phone confessing how his Texas stereotype of gun-toting, conservative Christian thinking almost kept him from accepting a speaking engagement here next week.
The Project Runway star told the crowd of about 1000 that he and Planned Parenthood have much in common. “We are kindred spirits in our beliefs,” he said.
Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in the country.
According to their latest report, Planned Parenthood of South Texas performed 1267 abortions and gave out thousands in emergency contraception which many view abortive.
In addition, Planned Parenthood South Texas’ largest population they serviced was Latino.
Life News’ Sarah Zagorski suggested that Gunn did not look far to learn what Planned Parenthood stood for, and she laid out a compelling reason why his supporters should contact Gunn on Facebook or Twitter to tell him just what kind of an organization Planned Parenthood is.
And some did just that:
Despite the fanfare, neither Gunn’s Facebook nor Twitter page has made mention of his kindred spirit Planned Parenthood.
