Sexting, it’s complicated says amoral Planned Parenthood

It’s a complicated issue that needs lots of discussion, says Lauren Dobson-Hughes, the president of Planned Parenthood in Ottawa, about sexting issues.

A young, usually girl, her photo has been shared without her consent and it has gone around the school and she’s being shamed and bullied and very unhappy because of it. Our stance is she’s done nothing wrong. The people who have shared her photo without her consent are the ones we need to talk to,” the Planned Parenthood representative tells News1130.

Dobson says it’s time for parents to accept that sexting is sometimes a fact of teenage life so it’s time to educate kids on the dangers and pit falls of it.

Oh really?

According to STOPP,

while Planned Parenthood makes an effort on its website to warn girls about the perils of sexting, a Planned Parenthood executive goes on record saying the young girl has done nothing wrong when she shares a sexual picture with someone.

It is only when someone else causes a girl shame or bullies her by forwarding the pictures that a problem exists. She makes no mention of bully-proofing young girls by teaching them that their bodies are private and that the consequences of sharing your body or sharing pictures with anyone are dire for a young girl.

Sometimes people are a little nervous when they hear sexting. And they want to say ‘don’t do it, don’t do it’ and that is one of the options. And definitely that’s one of the options. But sometimes youth are going to do it. So how can we help them understand the risks and how can they take measures to protect themselves,” said the Planned Parenthood representative.

Planned Parenthood claims they are the sexting expert, so great at it that schools use them to speak on it, “Schools invite is in. They want us to come in and talk about it [sexting] because they don’t know how to,” she stated.

You see- they are correct because when it comes to “sexting” Planned Parenthood is an expert. Why- they have a system in place to talk “sex” to your kids:

Planned Parenthood can now access your kids by cell phone w/o your knowledge or permission. Just imagine if you found some adult was texting your kids about sex, they would go to jail….but…Planned Parenthood will go to the bank instead !

Planned Parenthood also plans to follow up with teens who text them, asking if they’d like to use Planned Parenthood’s birth control selection app, which also directs them to – you guessed it- Planned Parenthood.

In New York, Planned Parenthood partnered with See3 to launch a campaign for what they describe as “at-risk teens.” – Minorities….

And here is the hook- Planned Parenthood can direct teens and minorities to come into their centers where they will sell them abortions:

Dubbed “Now U Know,” this campaign was designed to get teens in the New York City area to enter into a conversation with local Planned Parenthood affiliates about their sexual health, access to sexual health care and services offered at Planned Parenthood clinics.

Comforting to know that the city wants kids to get connected to abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

A few years ago, American Life League exposed just “what” Planned Parenthood teaches your children – warning- sexually graphic:

So, who really benefits from the duplicitous “sex-positive” messages our kids are getting from Planned Parenthood and its partners in crime, STOPP asks?

Well, of course, Planned Parenthood and the schools and other entities and institutions that partner with it to bring graphic “sex-positive” messages to our children do—to the tune of millions of dollars.

Who else benefits? Child molesters, who are enjoying the perfect storm created by Planned Parenthood, SIECUS, and all their friends who are grooming children for abuse with their lurid sex instruction. Following closely in the footsteps of serial child molester Alfred Kinsey, Planned Parenthood sex instruction is bringing to fruition the horrific child molestation culture that was set in motion by Kinsey’s “research,” they explain.

GAO Report on Planned Parenthood Reveals Startling Discrepancy

WASHINGTON, June 22 /Christian Newswire/ — “American Life League’s STOP Planned Parenthood project analyzed a new report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office on federal tax money funneled into Planned Parenthood,” announced American Life League President Judie Brown.

According to the GAO report, Planned Parenthood Federation of America audits show the organization spent only $657.1 million between 2002 and 2008 from federal government grants and programs when the abortion behemoth’s annual reports show it took in $2 billion from government grants and programs during the same time period.

“That leaves $1.3 billion unaccounted for. That’s not pocket change,” said STOPP national director Rita Diller. “Why the discrepancy? These numbers don’t add up and from an organization with a track record like Planned Parenthood’s, the American people deserve an explanation.”

The report was requested by 31 U.S. senators and representatives. It is the first of its kind since the 2001 figures released by the GAO in 2003. STOPP notes that Planned Parenthood has other sources of government funding – state and local – and that the GAO report for 2001 shows that PPFA expenditures of federal money accounted for 79 percent of its government income. The new report shows PPFA expenditures of federal money comprising an average of only 32 percent of its government income from 2002 through 2008.

“It is simply not believable such a large amount of its funding is from local and state sources,” Diller said

Additionally, in just two weeks, Planned Parenthood will complete its 2009-2010 fiscal year. Yet it still has not released its annual report for its 2008-2009 fiscal year.

“So breaking down the situation,” Diller said, “At a time when the majority of Americans consider themselves pro-life, Planned Parenthood rakes in over two billion of our tax dollars, inconsistently reports how they spent our tax money and then admits to killing 1,803,302 preborn babies between 2002 and 2008 alone.”

“A growing number of Americans are fed up. It’s time to defund Planned Parenthood.”

American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to natural death. Girl Scouts “Dishonored” by Planned Parenthood?

Girl Scouts’ Stumble Boosts Christian-Based American Heritage Girls 3/30/2004
By Martha Kleder
Planned Parenthood connection raises questions about GSA’s priorities.

What started as a local boycott of Girl Scout cookies in Waco, Texas, has blossomed into a nationwide investigation into the connection between the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.

At the same time, the Christian-based American Heritage Girls (AHG) is picking up new members and troop leaders thanks to the controversy.

“We are Christ-centered, not spiritually principled (GSUSA’s words), and that makes a huge difference,” American Heritage Girls founder Patti Garibay told CWA. “Just since the article in the March 22, 2004, USA Today, we have had 800,000 hits to our Web site, over 400 requests for information through the Internet, along with countless phone calls to our office, and we have been dealing with this issue for several weeks before that story ran.”

Garibay added that AHG now has 2,800 girls enrolled and 450 volunteers across 22 states. Since this renewed attention on the Girl Scouts’ unwholesome alliances, Garibay says, Heritage has seen an increase in membership interest.

“We have 25 pending troops right now, and in just two days we have sent out 15 information kits. Those kits, which begin the troop charter process, have to be purchased, so that indicates serious interest,” she added.

But while those contacts are boosting AHG ranks, Garibay says they are far from joyful.

“We have also been doing a lot of counseling,” she added. “People are just heartbroken to learn of these activities between the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood. However, this is really nothing new.”

Girl Scouting’s secretive alliance

The alliance between the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood appeared at first to be limited to the Bluebonnet Council of Girl Scouts in central Texas. It has since been revealed that the close association is nationwide and reaches to the top of the Scouting organization.

Girl Scouts CEO Kathy Cloninger admitted on NBC’s Today Show that many troops have alliances with Planned Parenthood and that those relationships would continue.
Across the nation the alliances have taken many forms:

• In Waco, Texas, the Bluebonnet Council places the national Girl Scout logo on posters for Planned Parenthood of Central Texas’ annual summer sex-education seminar for fifth to ninth graders.
• That Council also gave a “woman of distinction” award last year to the executive director of Planned Parenthood of Central Texas.
• Nevada’s Frontier Council Web site advertised a March 20 feminist conference featuring Planned Parenthood President Gloria Feldt and a workshop on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered issues.
• In 2003 the Girl Scouts of Connecticut honored a Planned Parenthood official for her outstanding work in promoting “healthy practices” in local troops.
• The Girl Scout leadership manual gives visits to health clinics like Planned Parenthood as an acceptable option for Brownie troops. Brownies are for girls six to eight years old.
These are just a few of the ties uncovered by Jim Sedlak of Stop Planned Parenthood International (STOPP), an American Life League affiliate. On April 5, STOPP plans to release a report, available on-line, listing all 315 councils of Girl Scouts of the USA, and their affiliation with Planned Parenthood.

“The alliance between the two groups is definitely supported at the highest levels of Girl Scouting,” Ed Szymkowiak, STOPP’s national director, told CWA. “But one thing that has stood out in the investigation is just how local an issue this is. We have had councils that said they do not affiliate with Planned Parenthood, we have had councils that have refused to answer the question and still others have said they do not now, but will not rule out the possibility.”

“One council executive director told us that there is nothing prohibiting a local troop leader from initiating such a relationship, even if the area council has no connections to Planned Parenthood,” he added. “Parents really need to watch this issue on their local level.”

Similar dilemma sparked AHG’s founding

Controversy has followed the Girl Scouts for some time. The Cincinnati, Ohio-based American Heritage Girls was formed in 1995 after “flexibility” was adopted within the Girl Scout promise, allowing girls to replace the word “God” with concepts of their own choosing.

Garibay says that was just one of many changes she witnessed.

“This issue about ties between the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood is nothing new,” she said. “We saw the same thing 10 years ago in our area that the folks in Waco just discovered. To this day, the Girl Scouts continue to align themselves only with pro-abortion groups. So, I was not surprised when The Waco Tribune ran an article indicating that the Girl Scouts USA had not apologized for the affiliation, but simply backed away to end the bad press.”

Along with the abortion culture, the Girl Scouts also tacitly endorse lesbianism as an acceptable lifestyle.

“And it was in 1994 that then-Surgeon General Dr. Joycelyn Elders made positive comments about lesbian Girl Scout leaders,” Garibay added. “We regularly hear from folks across the country about lesbian activity within their local troops or regional councils.”Other efforts include a push to de-feminize the program by removing badges for all traditionally feminine or domestic-related pursuits and replacing them with career-focused activities.

The Girl Scouts have also taken steps to remove as many references to faith as possible from the program.

From the Girl Scouts of the USA Web page “Girl Scout Beliefs and Values,” the national organization makes clear that its chief value is a “spiritual”-based diversity. Leaders receive the following instructions:

• Even if your troop is all of one faith, the Girl Scout meeting is not an appropriate place for prayers and hymns. Girl Scouts is not a religious organization.
• Help girls to be sensitive to all spiritual beliefs when picking readings for ceremonies, or songs for around mealtime. The songs and readings chosen can celebrate similarities as well as differences in beliefs. Avoid references to “God” as being a specific deity.

“Prayer is now banned at Girl Scout meetings,” said Garibay. When I was a Scout, you would at least say a brief prayer of thanks before snack time, or sing Christmas carols in December, but not anymore.”

The purge of religion has been taken a step further, Garibay says. Even living out your own faith has become taboo.

“People are now being asked to step down as troop leaders because they, personally, are ‘too religious,’” she said.

American Heritage Girls: A growing option

“When developing American Heritage Girls, we wanted to make sure that Christian values would remain at the core,” Garibay said. “We took the advice of my friends in the Boy Scouts, and we stay away from all government or United Way funding. [Editor’s note: About 60 United Way chapters have withdrawn support of the Boy Scouts over the Scouts’ refusal to allow homosexual troop leaders or members.]

“We operate on a charter system, so that the chartering organization owns the troop. We charter to churches and Christian schools, so that the AHG troop operates just like any other ministry under their wing.

“We require that all troop leaders sign a statement of faith,” she added. “But the girls who attend are not required to. All girls are welcome.”

Haiti appeal from Planned Parenthood hit Pro-lifers argue fundraiser exploits natural disaster

1/22/2010 Washington Times by: Valerie Richardson

Pro-life groups are accusing Planned Parenthood of taking advantage of the humanitarian catastrophe in Haiti to promote a pro-choice agenda.

Days after the devastating Jan. 12 earthquake, the International Planned Parenthood Federation Western Hemisphere Region (IPPF/WHR) sent out a fundraising appeal to help rebuild two clinics that were destroyed in Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.

The clinics are operated by PROFAMIL, a “member association” that provides “sexual and reproductive health services,” including abortions. The fundraising post said that PROFAMIL is setting up a temporary stationary clinic and mobile-health units to provide “basic first aid, as well as obstetric care and family planning.”

Outrage over the appeal quickly spread through the pro-life community and its related blogs. Rita Diller, national director of Stop Planned Parenthood, said on LifeSiteNews.com that the group was “using the disaster and the suffering in Haiti to raise money to perpetuate itself.”

“While millions of people are suffering unbelievably and are without the most basic necessities, Planned Parenthood wants to grab the donations that should be going to provide medical care, food, clothing and housing, and funnel it to its local affiliate that pushes condoms on children as young as 10 years old,” she said.

Liz Clark, a spokeswoman for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, declined to comment, saying that her group and the IPPF/WHR were “not the same organization.”

The IPPF/WHR did not return two phone calls placed over two days asking for comment. According to the IPPF/WHR Web site, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America was one of the IPPF/WHR’s eight founders, and remains its “member association” in the United States. PPFA has its own international program and doesn’t receiving funding from the group.

At the same time, the PPFA continues to work with the international group; for example, it lent support to the Haiti effort by posting the IPPF/WHR’s fundraising appeal on its Facebook page.

Defenders of Planned Parenthood insisted that critics were jumping to the wrong conclusions. Dawn Stacey, a former Planned Parenthood pregnancy-options counselor who now serves as About.com’s contraception expert, said on her blog that the mobile units would “bring needed services to people who are totally isolated.”

“There are reports of women giving birth on the side of the road as hospitals and houses have been demolished,” said Ms. Stacey, noting also that Planned Parenthood is encouraging donations to Americans for UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, which is also bringing assistance to pregnant women in Haiti.

“The donations (Planned Parenthood is promoting) will help UNFPA provide emergency reproductive health kits,” said Ms. Stacey. “These kits could essentially function as OB wards as they contain essential drugs, equipment and supplies to provide lifesaving services to pregnant women.”

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, remained skeptical.

“That’s great spin, but it’s not reality,” he said. “At a time when Americans are responding in a very compassionate way, Planned Parenthood is trying to go down there and create more victims by exploiting them at a very vulnerable time.”

He said that Planned Parenthood has a history of using natural disasters to promote its agenda. After Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, Planned Parenthood offered free emergency contraception, better known as “morning-after” pills, to terminate pregnancies.

After the Sept. 11 terrorist attack, Planned Parenthood of New York City offered 12 days of free reproductive health services, including abortions, emergency contraception, HIV and STD testing, and counseling.

“Everyone wants to do something,” Planned Parenthood spokeswoman Ali Bartolone said at the time in a statement. “This is our response; this is our way of helping women in need.”

Douglas Scott, president of Life Decisions International, a Planned Parenthood watchdog group, said that the organization donated $22,000 in abortion equipment after the fall of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu in 1989.

“This kind of self-serving opportunism is common for Planned Parenthood,” Mr. Scott said on the Christian Newswire Web site. “When people are standing outside with a hand stretched out, they do not expect someone to put a condom or birth control on it. Planned Parenthood officials should be ashamed.”

For more on how the abortion/population control community views Haiti read this (HERE)

On December 10, 1974, the United States National Security Council promulgated National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM-200), also called The Kissinger Report. This document explicitly laid out a detailed strategy by which the United States would aggressively promote population control in developing nations in order to regulate (or have better access to) the natural resources of these countries.

In order to protect U.S. commercial interests, NSSM-200 cited a number of factors that could interrupt the smooth flow of materials from lesser-developed countries, LDCs as it called them, to the United States, including a large population of anti-imperialist youth, who must, according to NSSM-200, be limited by population control. The document identified 13 nations by name that would be primary targets of U.S.-funded population control efforts.

According to NSSM-200, elements of the implementation of population control programs could include: a) the legalization of abortion; b) financial incentives for countries to increase their abortion, sterilization and contraception-use rates; c) indoctrination of children; and d) mandatory population control, and coercion of other forms, such as withholding disaster and food aid unless an LDC implements population control programs.

While the CIA and Departments of State and Defense have issued hundreds of papers on population control and national security, the U.S. government has never renounced NSSM-200, but has only amended certain portions of its policy. NSSM-200, therefore, remains the foundational document on population control issued by the United States government.

Maafa21 deals with the way Government Officials like President Nixon, Eisenhower, Clinton and others felt about population control is :

Maafa21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America

They were stolen from their homes, locked in chains and taken across an ocean. And for more than 200 years, their blood and sweat would help to build the richest and most powerful nation the world has ever known.

But when slavery ended, their welcome was over. America’s wealthy elite had decided it was time for them to disappear and they were not particular about how it might be done.

What you are about to see is that the plan these people set in motion 150 years ago is still being carried out today. So don’t think that this is history. It is not. It is happening right here, and it’s happening right now.
