In July of 2013 a Planned Parenthood staff accountant plead guilty to stealing $102,7333 between August 2012 and March 2013.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says 44-year-old Melissa Kwoka admits to forging checks from Planned Parenthood of Western New York to herself and her husband.

Melissa Kowka

The DA’s Office says Kwoka has three previous convictions for theft offenses.

She pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny in connection to this case and could face a maximum prison term of five to 15 years behind bars when sentenced in November.

In Roanoke, VA. the media is reporting that in spite of the fact that Planned Parenthood board knew of a Roanoke director’s recent arrest, he has NOT been fired…these are the people Planned Parenthood wants us to TRUST with millions and perhaps Billions of TAX DOLLARS when the rest of us are hard working citizens….

The Story continues: Planned Parenthood’s Board of Directors was aware of the arrest of its Roanoke director, according to board chairman Dr. Britton Taylor.

Taylor says the board was told about the petit larceny charges against David Nova by the organization’s CEO Walter Klausmeier. Taylor says that notification was prior to our reporting the charges.Nova was at work at the Planned Parenthood Roanoke office on Peters Creek Road

When asked if Nova could be fired, Taylor referred us to Klausmeier. Klausmeier has not returned our calls to his office and home or responded to an email.
Court records show Nova is serving weekends in the Roanoke County Jail for stealing wine from a Brambleton Avenue Kroger in January.

Planned Parenthood official gets jailed on charges of stealing wine from Roanoke Co. store

An executive for Planned Parenthood has been ordered to serve three weekends in jail on charges of stealing wine from a Roanoke County grocery store.

David Nova, vice president of Planned Parenthood Health Systems in Roanoke, was charged earlier this year with three counts of petit larceny. The charges stem from bottles of wine Nova took through a self-checkout line at the Cave Spring Kroger. The incidents occurred on two separate dates in January, according to online court records.

As part of an agreement reached in Roanoke County General District Court last week, Nova was not convicted. The case was continued for a year, with the understanding the charges will be dismissed after Nova completes his jail time and avoids further charges.

“This was an intensely personal matter for David that was not at all related to his work” for Planned Parenthood, said Nova’s attorney, John Lichtenstein.

WSLS reported it this way

David Nova, Vice President of Planned Parenthood Health Systems, Inc., was ordered by a judge last week to serve three weekends in the Roanoke County Jail.

Nova is accused of stealing wine from a Kroger on BrambletonAve. on two separate dates in January. Nova was arrested in May on three counts of petit larceny.

The jail confirms Nova reported there last weekend.

If Nova serves his time and stays on good behavior, the misdemeanor charges will be dropped in 12 months.

State Police tell us the trooper working the case was told he did not need to report for Nova’s court date last week.

Nova, who has repeatedly done interviews with WSLS in the past, did not return our calls.

Nova is known for defending Planned Parenthood after undercover investigations of Planned Parenthood centers helping alleged sex traffickers obtain abortions for minor girls, were uncovered by Live Action.

As Life News reported:

On January 11, Live Action conducted an undercover investigation of the Charlottesville, Virginia Planned Parenthood clinic. The undercover reporter posed as a man who ran an international child sex ring and inquired about getting sexual health services for the girls he manages that were as young as 14. The investigation was to test whether Planned Parenthood would promptly report the suspected sex ring to law enforcement.

On February 4, David Nova, vice president for Planned Parenthood Health Systems Inc, told the News Virginian that “police were notified after the man left.”

“The employees on these edited tapes in Roanoke and Charlottesville acted professionally in their interactions with the fake patient,” Nova said in a released statement. “In both cases, they promptly reported the incidents to their supervisors.”

David Nova, vice president for Planned Parenthood Health Systems Inc., said workers in the Albemarle and Roanoke offices did their jobs and acted appropriately. He said in both cases, police were notified after the man left.

Newschannel 3 obtained a management letter presented to the board of directors at Planned Parenthood of Southwest Michigan after an audit by Flegal and Tibbitts CPAs in May of 2010. The letter outlined several key problems.

“Bank statements in some instances were accumulated (by the director of finance Rene Davis) for (up to six months) before they were reconciled.”

Only on ABC 6: Head of RI Planned Parenthood Stepping Down Months After Shoplifting Incident

Warwick Police arrested the 59-year old in the spring after they say she stole an $89 Liz Claiborne blouse. The case was pleaded out in court and Planned Parenthood’s CEO Miriam Inocencio reimbursed the store as part of the agreement.

Inocencio says she gave her voluntary resignation a couple of weeks ago, and that she is proud of what she accomplished during her 13 years as the director of the non-profit organization.

UPDATE II: Susan Yolen, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood of Connecticut, confirmed to me that Inocencio has resigned. She attributed the change to how “the market is changing,” and how “it’s difficult to be in a small Planned Parenthood fending for itself.”

Yolen says there is no relation between Inocencio’s resignation and how, as reported in May by Channel 6, she faced a shoplifting charge. The station said she was 59 and had been running PPRI for 13 years. “It’s not really about Miriam Inocencio,” Yolen says. “It’s about the world of health-care.”

Asked about the financial condition of PPRI, Yolen says, “I really can’t say.” She declined to comment on how Inocencio’s resignation came about and whether she was encouraged to resign.

Ex Planned Parenthood Temp employee found guilty of murder

A jury in New York has convicted Natavia Lowery of beating to death her boss, Linda Stein, a celebrity real estate agent and former manager of the Ramones.

The New York Post said the jury announced its guilty verdict Tuesday after four hours of deliberations. Lowery is a former temp employee of Planned Parenthood.

Natavia Lowery Confession

Lowery stole “thousands of dollars” from Planned Parenthood, where she temped before working for Stein, in a racket that involved buying items on a corporate credit card and then returning them for cash, Assistant District Attorney Joan Illuzzi said.

The scam, which prosecutors discovered after going through receipts confiscated from Lowery, also prevented her from landing full-time employment with Planned Parenthood, whose directors could testify in the trial.

“Her skills and attitude weren’t ones that they thought were appropriate for permanent work,” Illuzzi told Justice Richard Carruthers.

Many reasons to defund Planned Parenthood: eugenics, racism, abortion, audits, misappropriation of funds, Medicaid billing practices, hiding sexual predators

Newly Obama appointed Federal Judge ran Planned Parenthood which later counseled teens how hide their affairs with adult men and avoid parental consent laws

Just days ago the U.S. Senate overcame a Republican filibuster and approved a former Planned Parenthood director and Obama nominee, John J. “Jack” McConnell , as a federal judge in Rhode Island.

Life News reports that senators voted 63-33 to surpass the 60-vote threshold necessary to stop the filibuster and approve McConnell’s nomination to the District Court for the District of Rhode Island.

Jack McConnell was the director of Planned Parenthood of Rhode Island from 1997 through 2000, an uncompensated position, according to his written responses to a questionnaire from the Senate Judiciary Committee.

In 2002, Life Dynamics called over 813 abortion clinics and most Planned Parenthood centers. The caller portrayed a 13-year-old girl who was pregnant by her 22-year-old boyfriend. Her story was that she wanted an abortion because she and her boyfriend did not want her parents to find out about the sexual relationship. In every call the ages of the girl and her boyfriend were made perfectly clear. It was also made clear that the motivation for the abortion was to conceal this illicit sexual activity from the girl’s parents and the authorities. Additionally, their caller never said a single thing that might suggest that her parents would become abusive if they discovered her sexual activity.

The results of this survey were appalling. Even though many of these clinic workers openly acknowledged to our caller that this situation was illegal and that they were required to report it to the state, the overwhelming majority readily agreed to conceal this illegal sexual activity.

Some employees of these organizations even coached our caller on how to avoid detection, how to circumvent parental involvement laws and what to say or not say when she came to the clinic. In a significant number of instances she was encouraged to lie about – or conceal – her age or her boyfriend’s age or to give false names.

Life Dynamics called the Providence Rhode Island Planned Parenthood where newly Obama appointed and Republican approved Federal Judge, John J. “Jack” McConnel, had resided as director only two years prior. To listen to the full tape click here, below is a partial transcript of that call:

CLINIC: So if you’re January 3rd that would make you just over nine weeks. So you’d still be under 12 weeks, so you would have a choice. It’s definitely a personal choice. I don’t know what you would prefer. Do you know what I mean? Do you want to make an appointment or do you want to call me back? I could get you in for next week.

CALLER: Well, I actually have another question that I’m really concerned about. I’m going to be 14 later on this month, and my friend told me that you guys would have to tell my parents. But my boyfriend’s 22. Is he old enough to take care of everything and you wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: No. I didn’t realize you were just 14. No. You’re going to be 14 when? Next month?

CALLER: On the 19th of this month.

CLINIC: No. You need to have parental consent here in this state, or else you have to come in and meet a counselor. The two of you pick a date to go to court so that the judge will dismiss you for the day that you come in for an abortion so you can act as an adult. The other option is that you go to Connecticut. Does your boyfriend drive?

CLINIC: Would he be able to drive you to Connecticut?

CALLER: I think so.

CLINIC: Because I can give you numbers of clinics there, and you can call them up. You don’t have to be any particular age.

CALLER: Oh. Well, the thing is, I don’t want anybody to know about me and my boyfriend. Would it just be better to go through the court? Would you guys have to say anything about him?

CLINIC: No, no. And even in the — they wouldn’t in Connecticut either. It would all be confidential. So it would just be having him for support, but you wouldn’t have to tell anyone about it.

CALLER: I haven’t had a pregnancy test yet. Would I be able to come in there for that, and you wouldn’t have to tell anybody?

CLINIC: Yeah. You can walk in here for a pregnancy test, no problem. I think that’s probably your better option, to come in, make sure that you’re pregnant. You can come in anytime. We’re open today until 4. It’s $17 for the pregnancy test.

CALLER: Well, my boyfriend said that he would pay for everything. We were talking about all this. He said that he would take care of it all, but we don’t want anyone to know about us. If he was paying for it, would he have to fill out any forms or anything?

CLINIC: Nope. Nope.

CALLER: Would his name be on anything?

CLINIC: How is he paying for it? Would he pay in cash?

CALLER: In cash, yeah.

CLINIC: If he gave you the $17, no.

CALLER: Okay. All right. Well, if it turned out that I wasn’t pregnant, do you guys do birth control there too?

CLINIC: Yep. And you know what your best bet is? Is to come in during our teen clinic.

CALLER: When is that?

CLINIC: Every Monday from 3:30 to 7:30. It’s walk-in appointments. So you just walk in anytime. Preferably come in an hour before 7:30, and you will get seen. And you can (unclear), and you don’t need any consent from parents or anything like that.

CALLER: So no one would have to know if I was on birth control too?

CALLER: All right. And you’re sure nobody would have to know about my boyfriend?

CLINIC: Nope. As long as you don’t disclose that information.

CALLER: Okay. I just have so many questions. If I can think of anything else to ask you, could I call and talk to you? What was your name?

CLINIC: My name is Ellen. And if you can’t come in today for the pregnancy test, Monday is a good option to come in too. Do you think those times would suit you —

CLINIC: — between 3:30 and 7:30?

CLINIC: Because you’ll get a lot of information here. It’s just all teenagers, so you won’t meet any old fogies. The people that work here are really understanding. They can give you all the information you need. So if you wanted to hold off to do the pregnancy test then, it is cheaper. It’s like 10 or $15 compared to 17. But if you wanted to come in today before 4, you could do that as well. You know what I mean? It will be $17. Then you can take it from there. You could talk to someone about getting on birth control or you could talk to someone about an AB appointment. But I think your best bet might be going to Connecticut if it turns out that you need to go to court and stuff. It’s totally up to you; it’s your decision. But just know that you do need to — you have three weeks to play around, so you need to make the appointment within the next week if you decide to come here to meet a counselor and stuff, because they will want to get you in.

CALLER: Would they have the number for the places in Connecticut when I go to the teen clinic?

CLINIC: Yep. Or I can give you the number now if you just want to call and see what their story is.

CALLER: Well, I just want to find out if I’m pregnant first.

CLINIC: Why don’t you take that step first, and then we can give you the numbers at teen clinic, okay?

CALLER: All right.

CLINIC: And call me if you have any questions. My name is Ellen. Okay?

CALLER: Okay. Thank you.

CLINIC: Take care.
