Police refuse to press charges against pro-choice man who assaulted anti-abortion demonstrators

Police are refusing to file charges against a man who attacked two anti-abortion protesters outside an abortion clinic in Oklahoma.

As reported previously, members of the group Abolish Human Abortion (AHA), were viciously assaulted after speaking to a pro-choice man who was exiting an abortion clinic with a women in Oklahoma, the pro-choicer began to push, punch, and threaten them.

Video of the conversation that led to the assault was destroyed by the attacker but video of the attack was preserved and has been uploaded online.

The group is now reporting that the City of Norman, OK Police Department doesn’t even want to see the video evidence of this assault and are pressuring the abolitionists who were attacked to drop the charges and settle on mediation.

The group responded on their facebook page, “If an abolitionist assaulted a pro-choicer outside an abortion clinic, it would be covered by the media all over the world. But when a man who takes his girlfriend to get an abortion violently assaults a couple of abolitionists, kicking and punching them and destroying their property, not only does the media not care, but neither do the police or the city’s prosecuting attorney. Please SHARE this video far and wide, and let the Norman Police department know that you know they have no intention to uphold justice or serve and protect their abolitionist citizens. All we want is for justice to be done and the safety of abolitionists who peacefully assemble outside the Norman Killing Center to be protected from physical harm. Let the City of Norman know that you are aware of their decision to turn a blind eye to justice.”

On the video you can see the man punching AHA member Jeremy Brown. After the attack, Jeremy is heard telling the pro-choicer, “There’s forgiveness in Christ.”

The man then viciously attacks AHA member Toby Harmon, kicking and hitting him several times.

The video shows the pro-choicer stealing and destroying most the group’s cameras and as he walks away he throws the camera at the group.

He then threatens them further by saying,”You’re lucky I didn’t have my pistol on me too, I would have shot [y’all now]..

The group also reported that, “This attacker has come back to the abortion and threatened to shoot abolitionists if they did not leave before he got back…

AHA is asking that you contact the Norman Police Department

After the story aired on American Family Radio show by Bryan Fischer, The woman who was with the assailant called into the show.

This is how AHA responded to her call on their FB page:

“Cindy, we heard your call to AFR today. We know you watch our page. We understand that you feel upset by what you saw and heard that day at the killing place. We know that you have pain in your heart from that terrible day, from what you did to your baby to the memory of that blood money changing hands, to the fact that Wes ignored you while you screamed at him, “You never listen to me!” It was a dark day all around. Yet one light shone in the darkness. It is what Wes heard after he punched Jeremy in the face. It is what you heard proclaimed before Wes began his assault. It is what the host of AFR told you as your call was coming to an end. It is the good news that Jesus the Messiah will still forgive you and Wes. That He delights in pouring out mercy on sinners, even sinners who assault His own people, pay rich fat cat “doctors” to murder their own flesh and blood, and then justify their sin by doing what amounts to victim-shaming, contending that Toby and Jeremy brought the assault on themselves, because it is such a horrible thing to plead for babies’ lives and proclaim Jesus at the darkest place in the entire city, the abortion mill. Cindy, know this. We are not angry with you. We do not hate you at all. We love you. We love you enough to let you know that, even now, if you came to us for help, if Wes has hurt you, if you are torn up inside because you murdered your child, if you are broken over what your life has become, we would help you. Toby, Jeremy, and the rest of us only want the best for you. We have been forgiven much by Jesus our Savior. Jesus will forgive you too. The best thing that could happen to you is that you repent of your sin and turn to Jesus in faith and submission. Turn away from your self-righteousness. Turn away from your anger and bitterness. Jesus is kind and merciful. You don’t have to be a slave to the evil of your heart or your past. Cindy, flee from the wrath to come. The cross shows God’s love for sinners, and the resurrection of Jesus demonstrates His power to forgive and to grant eternal life, and to rescue you in this life and the life to come. Repent, believe. Live for Jesus. Love Jesus. He is better than anything, especially the darkness you have so far embraced. A//∀”

Pro-lifers threatened by angry man outside abortion clinic

According to Pro-lifers in Central Florida, an angry man threatened to shoot them if they did not stop reaching out to the teen he was escorting inside the All Women’s abortion clinic.

AlluraThreatenedNov201355853400_n

The pro-lifer wrote this on her facebook page, “This dad of an aborting teen screamed at me, “Just shut the **** up! Do you want me to f****** shoot you? Shut the **** up now! Do you hear me? SHUT UP!” The security guard heard his threat but didn’t intervene. I had my video camera rolling in case he attempted to follow through with his threat. Were we afraid? Yes!! It was frightening! But we know God is in control so we will trust Him. WE NEED STRONG, GODLY MEN WITH US AT THE KILLING PLACE..He had just raised his hand like he was shooting a gun before I got this photo.”

It is shocking that he security guard allowed such behavior. But Pro-choice violence is nothing new. Go to my blog here and click back for horrible stories.

The security guard spoke to the pro-life woman the next day. She writes, “Wow. Security guard just told me at All Womens that the guy who threatened to shoot me and Amber yesterday spoke to the police after we left & was thinking about pressing charges, saying we were harassing him. He told security guard & cop he never said he would shoot us; he said he would “sue” us. Ummm. No, he definitely said “shoot” and he even acted it out. (Watch video) In the end he chose not to press charges, but the cop said he would stop & talk to me today if I’m out here. Well I am out here. ::gulp:: Please pray for that interaction…if it happens.”

UPDATE, also the very next day , the same pro-life woman was threatened again, I’M GONNA BLOW YOUR F****** HEAD OFF!!!”-guy yelled at me as he drove past All Women’s just now, swerving toward me to make me jump. The battle is intense, folks. Please pray and consider joining us on the frontlines.”

It is also chocking that an adult male is bringing in a pregnant teen foe an abortion. This could be a sign that there was sexual abuse. I wonder if All Women’s Health Center abortion clinic is reporting this to authorities as a mandatory reporter should.

childpredatorlogo

According to the pro-life group, Life Dynamics, Inc., mandatory reporting statutes which require healthcare workers to report reasonable suspicions of child sexual abuse to the authorities are being ignored inside American abortion, Planned Parenthood and family planning centers.

According to Mark Crutcher, founder of Life Dynamics , “The abortion lobby is engaged in a pedophile protection racket and protecting pedophiles who rape underage girls. These abortion clinics receive money from the federal government. We are literally paying for the rape of our young daughters.”

Life Dynamics studied this issue by analyzing several hundred instances in which older men were convicted of sexual crimes against minor girls. In an alarming number of these cases, there was a point at which the victims were taken for birth control, pregnancy tests, STD treatments and abortions – usually by the perpetrator – with no mandatory reporting made by those who provided the service. In almost every case, the sexual abuse resumed afterward and, many times, it would go on for years.

“You have to remember what’s happening right there,” Crutcher said. “You have an adult in a state talking to what they perceived to be a 13-year-old child who was a victim of sexual abuse by an older man and telling that child to lie about his age in order to conceal the crime. If you’re a parent, especially if a father and you’re not outraged then you don’t have a pulse.”

To test this further, Life Dynamics conducted an undercover investigation in which we called over 800 Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation facilities across the nation. The results of this survey were appalling. Even though many of these clinics openly acknowledged to our caller that this situation was illegal and they were required to report it to the state, the overwhelming majority readily agreed to conceal this illegal activity.

“When we began to investigate we found it was even worse than we thought it was. Initially we thought perhaps the abortion clinics were only reporting half of the incidents, but instead we found that they were reporting hardly any of them,” said Crutcher.

To address the problem, Life Dynamics, Inc. has contacted over 53,000 personal injury attorneys to educate them about the pedophile protection racket being covered up inside these clinics.

Cops called for abortion clinic threat Pro-life activist says man threatened to shoot

Updated: Tuesday, 31 Aug 2010, 10:13 PM MDT

ALBUQUERQUE, NM {KRQE} – The father of a teenage girl who was on her way into an Albuquerque abortion clinic, is accused of threatening to shoot a protester.

A protester standing just outside the clinic said the man lost it and said he was going to put a bullet through her heart.

These pictures were snapped by Operation Rescue, outside Southwestern Women’s Options on Lomas near I-25.

It’s one of the most controversial abortion clinics in the country, because it’s one of the few that performs late-term abortions

A man, his wife and their 16 year old daughter pulled into the clinic for the teen’s appointment Saturday.

Protesters claim the girl was interested in hearing about alternatives to abortion.

Bud Shaver with Operation Rescue was there and told News 13 what he saw, “(The girl) took the information that she was offering but the gentlemen lashed out.”

The female protester said the girl’s father yelled he didn’t believe in god and flipped her off.

The family went inside, but the man came back out.

The protester claims that’s when the father told her not to speak to his daughter again or he would quote “Put a bullet in her heart”.

“He kind of lifted up his shirt and showed something that was attached to his belt,” Shaver said.

The woman called the cops.

“They had all their guns drawn and they were kind of single file approaching the clinic and they had all of us, out on the street, kind of move behind the wall, they said we were in the kill zone,” Shaver said.

The father told police he was stressed over his daughter’s abortion and got upset when the protesters started yelling his family would burn in hell.

He said he did tell the woman not to talk to his daughter, but he denied making a threat.

Police did find a magazine clip full of bullets on him, but no gun. The man did have several guns locked inside his car.

Police confiscated them, citing the volatility of the situation.

Police said the case has been forwarded to the district attorney to see if the father should be charged with anything.

We tried to get a hold of the owner of the clinic Doctor Curtis Boyd for comment on what happened, he did not get back to us.

But, Operation Rescue reports that the Shooting Threat Raises Question Of Coerced Abortion

Additional information has come out concerning the incident on August 25, 2010, where a man threatened to shoot two pro-life women outside Curtis Boyd’s late-term abortion mill in Albuquerque, New Mexico. That information raises questions of coerced and/or forced abortions there.

The man, identified in police reports as Hal Cox of Arizona, brought his 16-year old daughter to Boyd’s Southwestern Women’s Options for an abortion and became upset when his wife and daughter voluntarily approached two sidewalk counselors that spoke with them about abortion alternatives. He flashed what appeared to be a gun and threatened to shoot them if they said anything else to his daughter.

Police were called to the scene where they discovered that Cox was in immediate possession of a magazine filled with bullets. They also discovered a number of firearms in the trunk of his vehicle. Police confiscated the weapons.

“This raises an important question of whether or not this young lady held any fear for her armed father, and whether she was seeking an abortion of her own free will,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “We know that there is a silent epidemic of coerced abortions and even forced abortions going on in this country.”

“Pregnancy is a vulnerable time for women,” said Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Policy Advisor for Operation Rescue. “After over two decades of working with abortion-bound women, it has been my experience that a high percentage of them feel like they have no other choice than to abort because of pressure from family and even because of fear of domestic violence.”

Two cases in point are the dramatic stories of Michelle Armesto-Berg from Kansas and Caitlin Bruce from Michigan.

Armesto-Berg was coerced into an abortion she did not want out of fear that her family would disown her. Her abortion was started before the clinic staff obtained written consent. She gave stunning testimony of her ordeal before a Kansas Legislative Committee in 2007.

Bruce filed a lawsuit against abortionist Alberto Hodari for a forced abortion she endured in 2008. She says she withdrew her consent for an abortion after viewing an ultrasound image of her pre-born baby. According to Bruce, Hodari ordered a male clinic worker to hold her down while Hodari forced the abortion on her. Her mouth was covered to muffle her screams.

These stories are just the tip of a very large iceberg. More needs to be done to insure that vulnerable women do not have to endure abortions they do not want.

Boyd’s clinic is of particular concern because women come to it from all over the country for late-term abortions that are not legal or available in their home states. Studies show that domestic violence against women actually increases in their last four months of pregnancy, a time during which Boyd particularly solicits women for abortions.

“We hope that the police thoroughly investigate the Cox case to determine if the young woman was coerced or aborted out of fear for her safety. But unfortunately, in New Mexico abortion laws are so permissive that there is likely no statute that could punish a person for forcing or coercing an abortion on an unwilling woman,” said Sullenger. “This lax attitude toward abortion coercion and accompanying domestic violence places women and their wanted babies in grave risk. It is really outrageous that more hasn’t already been done to protect women at this vulnerable time of their lives.”

As for Cox, his case has been referred to the district attorney, who will evaluate it to see if charges should be filed.

“If they let this man walk away without charges this will send the wrong message to bullies who want to threaten peaceful pro-lifers and coerce young girls into unwanted abortions, as we suspect may have been the case in this instance,” said Newman. “They need to make an example out of Mr. Cox in order to stem the violence inside and outside the abortion clinic.”

Pro-choice cop shoots pregnant girlfriend after she refuses abortion

Former Memphis cop confessed to killing girlfriend, jury told
By Lawrence Buser
June 9, 2010

A former Memphis police officer charged with first-degree murder in the 2008 shooting of his girlfriend “looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders” when summoned to headquarters for questioning, a jury was told Wednesday.

Chancy K. Jones initially was vague or silent during questioning, said newly named Deputy Director Toney Armstrong, but then admitted shooting Phyllis Malone because Jones said she threatened to tell his wife about their two-month affair if he did not give her money.

Malone, 31, was found shot to death in her car around 6 a.m. on Sept. 9, 2008, at a Shell gas station at 1709 Whitten Road near Interstate 40.

“It’s not every day you get a police officer accused of murder,” Armstrong said when asked how he remembered the interrogation of Jones almost two years later. “When he came in he looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders.”

Armstrong said Jones eventually opened up and gave police a five-page signed statement, part of which Armstrong read to the jury.

According to the defendant’s statement, Malone told Jones that she was pregnant and wanted money for the baby’s care and that she became upset when he told her he would think about it.

“She became irate, cursing, threatening and blackmailing saying that she was going to tell my wife and take me to child support and I had to pay the white man at Juvenile Court,” Jones said in the statement. “I talked to her and she calmed down and she wanted a hug or what not. After that, the conversation picked back up. She asked me the same question again and I told her I would think about it. Then she said ‘Well, I’ll just go and tell the wife’ and said all I was gonna pay for. She said ‘You’ll pay in the long run.’…

“So when I asked her about going to get an abortion done, she cursed and said hell no she wasn’t gonna do that. She was determined that she was going to tell her (Jones’ wife) and come to my house. I asked her not to do it. She said ‘Bye, Chancy.’ That’s when I pulled out a pistol and I shot her.”

A medical examiner said Malone died of gunshots to the right temple, the right side and the right chest area. Malone was not pregnant and, according to her sisters, had had her tubes tied.
Jones, 39, was a three-year veteran assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division at Raines Station before being fired. He is free on $200,000 bond.

The trial is being held before Criminal Court Judge W. Mark Ward.

Planned Parenthood’s Superhero For Choice kills pro-life Christians and abstinence educators in her never-ending quest to make America safe for abortion. Watch as Planned Parenthood water-boards and drowns (they call it “Aqua-sliding”) a Christian because he teaches abstinence and “dresses funny.” You will see peaceable demonstrators at an abortion clinic shot and killed en-mass by Planned Parenthood. Watch as they water-board a U.S. Senator until he agrees to support Planned Parenthood. If you watch until the end, when the credits roll, you will see Planned Parenthood shoot a U.S. Army helicopter out of the sky.

The video ends by taking you to Ethiopia where Planned Parenthood wants to get everyone there to use birth control.

‘Right-Wing Violence’ a Product of MSM Hyperactive Imagination, Leftist Agenda

From: Big Journalism

Posted by John Sexton Apr 21st 2010 at 9:47 am in Abortion, Featured Story, media bias

The meme coming from the left is simple: right-wing activity leads to extremism. As early as last April democratic staffers on Capitol Hill were passing out press releases claiming the Town Hall attendees were “neo-Nazis.”

Since then the claim has been echoed by dozens of high profile opinion writers including Paul Krugman at the New York Times and Eugene Robinson at the Washington Post (who claims “far-left violence in this country has gone the way of the leisure suit.”)

In an Op-Ed in the New York Times, Bill Clinton not so subtly drew parallels between the Oklahoma City bombing and the current environment. He didn’t identify any particular source of danger, but his warning was clearly aimed at those who use “anti-government” rhetoric. No surprise those people tend to be conservatives.

Of course there has been real right-wing extremism, most notably the murder of abortionist George Tiller last Summer. That shouldn’t be ignored or minimized. On the other hand, there was another killing not long after which received a lot less attention. Jim Pouillon, a long time pro-life advocate, was shot three times through the pro-life sign he was holding by a stranger who was irritated by his message.

One could reasonably argue that Tiller’s murder was the bigger story, news-wise. He had become symbolic of a particularly controversial kind of abortion (late term) and had experienced previous violence. Giving the story double (even triple) coverage would be reasonable. But five and a half times as much? That’s what the New York Times did. How about twenty times as much? That’s what the Los Angeles Times did. The Washington Post was in between with just over twelve times as much coverage of Tiller than Pouillon. All of them put Time magazine to shame: Time ran nearly 5,000 words on Tiller, but not one on Pouillon. Here’s a chart that shows how lopsided the coverage was:

The numbers don’t tell the whole story. Much of the coverage of Tiller was glowing. There are quotes from fellow church members, quotes from family, quotes from supporters. His story is conveyed as a tragedy. One whole piece was devoted to his family life. And one biographic story in the New York Times ran 6,000 words, 50% longer than all their coverage of Jim Pouillon’s murder combined.

The coverage of the Tiller case raised the specter of further violence at every turn. Who will be next? The Washington Post gave space to religious believers of every stripe to comment on the story including a pro-choice Wiccan priestess, a pro-choice Rabbi and a pro-choice Christian pastor who accused pro-lifers of “fedoaltry.” In short, all three papers took Tiller’s murder as an opportunity to look at the big picture, usually from a pro-choice point of view, and to push their editorial agenda.

By contrast, the coverage of Pouillon painted him as a confrontational rabble-rouser. The New York Times ran a story (headline: “Slain Abortion Opponent ‘Loved the Controversy’ His Protests Generated”) which in the first paragraph described Pouillon as “breaking the idyllic quiet with loud anti-abortion rants.” It went on to suggest that his real motivation wasn’t a principled view of life but unhappiness over his divorce. Not exactly sympathetic treatment from the Times. The authors stop short of suggesting he brought the murder on himself, but the tone is a long way from the hagiography that Tiller received. When the Times eventually ran word of the conviction of Harlan Drake (Pouillon’s killer) it was a 65-word stub under the headline “Michigan: Trucker Guilty of Killings.” There is no indication that political assassination was part of the story.
Lacking in coverage of Pouillon’s murder are any of the big questions that might have been asked, starting with will this happen again? There was, so far as I could find, no recounting of past acts of violence against pro-lifers or any suggestion that a pattern might exist. No one offered a round up of quotes from angry pro-choicers, some of whom said he got what he deserved (they weren’t that hard to find if anyone had bothered to look).

Bad as it was, the Times’s coverage was far better than the Post or the L.A. Times could muster. Can anyone justify a 20:1 split in coverage of these two murders? The Washington Post ran a few AP pieces but basically devoted zero resources to Pouillon’s murder. Time didn’t mention him at all (neither did Newsweek). If you only read those magazines you might think left-wing extremism didn’t exist.

It’s impossible to look at the numbers, not to mention the tone of the coverage itself, and avoid the obvious conclusion that the press has a dog in this fight. The reporters writing these stories are nearly all pro-choice. So are the editors assigning the stories and writing the headlines. As a result, right-wing violence garners a lot more media coverage. It’s not a conspiracy, just confirmation bias in action.

And it extends far beyond this story. Did you know that a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Arizona was burned out just before Christmas? Probably not since not a single major media outlet covered the story. But if someone sets fire to an abortion clinic you can bet it will be national news.

Sadly, the MSM’s story selection eventually forms a kind of conventional wisdom, one that suggests “right-wing” is the natural prefix for “extremism.” In contrast, examples of left-wing violence are just a blip, a local crime story with no national implications worth mentioning, if the story is even covered at all.

Of course, this isn’t true. There was a bigger narrative in which to place Jim Pouillon’s murder just as was the case for Tiller, but that story remains untold. If the MSM is serious about being non-partisan they need to start compensating for their own measurable bias.
