UNM Doubles Down on Preventing The Truth From Coming Out About Their Abortion Involvement

Posted in Aborted Baby Body Parts, Center for Medical Progress, Protest ABQ with tags , , , , , , , , on April 3, 2016 by saynsumthn

Life Ministries has released the following:

The Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives has issued 12 additional subpoenas to fetal tissue procurement organizations who continue to refuse full compliance with the panels investigation into the practice of fetal tissue harvesting and the use of the remains in research. According to the NY Times, “Committee investigators say they have uncovered evidence of possible illegal profiteering, questionable consent forms and inappropriate collusion between scientists seeking fetal tissue and abortion providers.”

Three new subpoenas come to New Mexico focused on individuals at the University of New Mexico (UNM) and Southwestern Women’s Options. The subpoenas ask for information such as: studies, research or experiments that individuals have participated in, the number and type of fetal tissue obtained from Southwestern Women’s Options, personnel that procured tissue from SWO and documents proving benefits or compensation for providing fetal tissue.

UNM as a publicly funded institution bears the responsibility of transparency, yet, at every turn they avoid accountability and fight to keep the truth from being exposed about how deeply entrenched their radical abortion agenda is. Whether through our and other pro-life attempts to obtain public records or congressional attempts, UNM just doubles down and is petrified about the consequences of allowing even basic facts about their abortion involvement from seeing the light of day.

Paul ROth EPsey POst Card

Bud Shaver, executive director of Protest ABQ issued the following statement,

“Just this week, we mailed postcards into Albuquerque neighborhoods because we believe the community deserves to know who is responsible for UNM’s radical abortion agenda they are funding with their tax dollars. Of all of the postcards that we have dropped over the past five years, we had to battle to get this one out. UNM tried to prevent the post office from mailing out our postcards. UNM wields a mighty hand over local businesses and our printer was weary about completing the order for us after being notified by the post office that UNM was attempting to block our postcard from going out but Tara did what she does best and had the post office directly email our printer once all the legal issues were resolved and clarified. Here is what the post office said to our printer, ‘Our legal department says we cannot refuse the mailing if it is brought to us as long it is properly prepared and paid for.’ Free speech trumps UNM and their strangle hold over the truth from reaching the community. This is clearly a battle over hearts and minds and that is why we fight so hard…and never back down.”

Rep. Marsha Blackburn says it best in her statement after issuing this new round of subpoenas,

“The Select Investigative Panel is working in a thoughtful and thorough manner to find the facts about what exactly is going on at these abortion businesses and procurement organizations. Unfortunately, some of these organizations have so redacted documents — even after being subpoenaed — that it is impossible for us to get the complete picture of what is actually going on. Others have refused to produce documents required under previous subpoenas, and have threatened to withhold additional subpoenaed information. There should be no resistance to letting all the facts come out — but some abortion supporters seem to be clearly rattled with basic facts coming to light. Therefore, in the interest of completing our investigation pursuant to H. Res. 461, we will continue to issue subpoenas when necessary to ensure information can be gathered in a timely fashion.”

Some claim that aborted fetal tissue harvesting is necessary to make strides in medical research and defend the use of aborted fetal cells in vaccines. We maintain the position that utilizing and capitalizing on the death and body parts of innocent children for any reason is immoral and unethical and should therefore cease immediately.

Methods Planned Parenthood uses to profit from selling aborted baby parts, CMP

Posted in Aborted Baby Body Parts, Planned Parenthood sells aborted baby parts, stem Express with tags , , , , , , , , , , on March 6, 2016 by saynsumthn

A pro-life group which successfully infiltrated abortion organizations has published detailed methods they say were used by Planned Parenthood to violate a federal law prohibiting the selling of aborted baby body parts. The Center for Medical Progress (CMP), which released a series of shocking video evidence this summer, claims that the largest provider of abortions profits off the babies they abort by selling their parts for research. In an analysis just published online, CMP breaks down two primary models used by Planned Parenthood in their grisly baby parts operations.

1). The use of a Fetal Tissue Procurement Organization (TPO), like StemExpress, to manage fetal organ harvesting at their surgical abortion clinics.

2). Direct supply to local biotech companies or university laboratories.

USING A Tissue Procurement Organization (TPO):

According to the CMP, in the first model a procurement tech, like Stem Express employee Holly O’Donnell, who was interviewed by CMP, does the majority of work to secure the “specimen.” They arrive at the clinic, consent the patient, and retrieve the desired “parts” from the aborted child. In videos released by CMP, O’Donnell testified that she was told to cut through the face of a live child after the baby was aborted in order to obtain brain tissue. CMP points out that when a TPO is used there is no additional cost to the abortion clinic for retrieval of the part, and therefore any “fee” that is paid is all profit:

The TPO model virtually guarantees that the Planned Parenthood clinic will profit from supplying fetal tissue, because the TPO handles all of the costs of procurement while still paying the abortion clinic a fee per usable body part harvested.

The CMP report lists the following Planned Parenthood affiliates as having worked with a TPO:

    • Planned Parenthood Los Angeles partnered with Novogenix Laboratories, LLC;
    • Planned Parenthood Pacific Southwest in San Diego worked with Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc.;
    • Planned Parenthood Mar Monte worked with StemExpress
    • Planned Parenthood Northern California worked with StemExpress

In their analysis, CMP points out that the potential for thousands of dollars a year in extra profit is likely. In fact, StemExpress procurement logs obtained by CMP show potential for “a quarter million in extra profit margin that Planned Parenthood could earn,” according to the investigative journalists. CMP has based this estimate on information from fetal parts harvesting involving two Planned Parenthood locations:

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte in Fresno – 8 fetal parts harvested on December 12, 2012.
Planned Parenthood in San Jose shows – 9 fetal parts harvested on January 10, 2013.

The math is basic and as CMP states in their report, “Assuming 3 abortion days per week at each abortion clinic, a baby parts yield of 8 per day would mean:”

8 fetal parts/clinic x 4 clinics x $55/part x 3 days/week x 50 weeks/year = $264,000/year

Such an arrangement easily nets over a quarter million in extra profit margin for just this one Planned Parenthood affiliate each year.

DIRECT SUPPLY

The second model, which CMP calls “direct supply” basically cuts out the TPO middleman but enables Planned Parenthood to then charge more for each “specimen” CMP says.

The second model for baby parts harvesting at Planned Parenthood clinics is one of direct supply to local biotech companies or university laboratories. Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston, TX has been using this model for decades. While it is possible in this model that the Planned Parenthood clinics may take on more of the work of harvesting baby parts, and thus may incur some actual costs, by cutting out the TPO middle-man the clinics can also charge much higher fees per fetal specimen, far in excess of any actual cost. In this context, Planned Parenthood has more line items to mask illicit baby parts profits, but its accounting gimmicks still cannot withstand close scrutiny.

In the “direct supply model”, CMP discovered that Planned Parenthood uses a two-tired system for billing for their “services” of “specimen retrieval.”

1). First for its staff to consent all the eligible abortion patients.

2). Second, higher fee for the fetal tissue specimens that were usable.

According to a conversation CMP had with Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Senior Director of Medical Services for PPFA, the overall patient consent process typically only takes 10 minutes per patient. Yet, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast (PPGC) invoices to University of Texas Medical Branch for a 2010-2011 fetal tissue study show the clinic charged $25 per “Consent obtained” from abortion patients, and an additional $150 “Consent fee” for a subset of abortion patients. In addition, news reports indicate that at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, fetal tissue specimens were billed at $160/consent.

Using the extra $150.00 “consent fee,” CMP projected a potential $300,000/year extra profit possible for PPGC.

Planned Parenthood’s capping consent time with patients at 10 minutes, the use of outside couriers or research staff at buyer expense, and the high per-specimen fees paid to Planned Parenthood—ensure that fetal tissue harvesting on a direct-supply model remains highly profitable for Planned Parenthood.

SHIPPING THE SPECIMEN:

Another way CMP found that Planned Parenthood avoids “costs” in “donating” their fetal “specimens” for research is when they are shipped. According to CMP, when shipping costs for fetal specimens are handled by the procurement company or research lad (via pick-up or use of a courier) there is no cost to Planned Parenthood, “the only extra work for Planned Parenthood is consenting the abortion patients to “donate” fetal tissue,” CMP states.

Last month, a U.S. House investigative panel issued subpoenas to StemExpress and others in an effort to obtain documents regarding the possible sale of aborted baby body parts. The Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives held their first hearing on “Ethics” Wednesday following the CMP investigation. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, who chairs the committee told the panel that “last summer’s [CMP] videos revealed that something very troubling is going on related to fetal tissue and research..and something that deserves investigating.”

As for ongoing questions into wrongdoing by Planned Parenthood, CMP said that while Planned Parenthood continues to receive over half-a-billion dollars in taxpayer money each year they maintain a, “complete lack of transparency around its clinics’ apparent profiteering from aborted baby parts,” and called for them to answer the hard questions:

“Planned Parenthood should now be on notice to stop covering up for its affiliates’ criminal baby parts sales and start answering the hard questions, if it can afford to tell the truth.”

Citizens protest Planned Parenthood fetal procurement company Stem Express

California citizens horrified by Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby parts are regularly protesting their procurement company, StemExpress. Over the summer, the Center for Medical Progress began releasing undercover video evidence showing Planned Parenthood staffers haggling over organs procured from babies the tax funded organization aborted. Then CMP shocked Americans further when they released an interview they did with a former StemExpress procurement technician detailing how she was ordered to cut through the face of a live baby in order to obtain the required brain tissue.

STem Express sign

As America reeled from what they were seeing in the CMP vids, so did the citizens of Placerville where StemExpress is located. In response, several groups of citizens took it up themselves to protest outside Stem Express and expose their baby harvesting connection to the abortion giant Planned Parenthood. One of those protesters described Placerville as a quiet small town in need of jobs. Marcia Brim noted that when Stem Express came into their city the citizens had no idea what the fetal research company was all about.

Marcia Brim

“Nobody was more astounded by what was happening in our back yard than the people of Placerville. Our county doesn’t even have an abortion clinic,” Marcia said.

According to Marcia, before she saw the CMP videos she had never taken part in a protest. Now, she said she has been protesting outside Stem Express two to three days a week for several months. “A lot of us have never protested anything like this before. That is my story. I prayed for the others but never did it myself,” Marcia said. “What David and CMP did has made a huge difference in our lives and we are very grateful for what he has brought to light,” she added.

Marcia said that protesters have received a very positive response. “On the sidewalk we have people who walk or drive by and it is overwhelmingly apparent that the citizens of Placerville support their protests,” she stated.

Stem Express prolife protest

Robbie Jeremica agrees stating that he has spent every Wednesday in front of Stem Express for the past 12 weeks where he observed that most of the responses from those who drive or walk by have been positive. He and his Chrissy call their ability to expose what is going on a, “blessing” because, as he explained they are, “a voice for the unborn.” Robbie said he prays for those who disagree with him because they, “cannot see truth because they are blinded by the darkness without Christ in their hearts.”

Laura Ellis joined the protests along with her children. She was so upset about what Stem Express did that she penned a letter to the editor which read in part:

“We are some of the women and children standing outside of Stem Express…We’re writing this letter to share the heart behind the signs you see many of us holding…We find the profit from and research of aborted baby’s body parts to be a devastating aspect of the industry…It is our hope and prayer that as people are faced with the reality of the horrors of abortion, it will cause them to see how terrible all sin is and how desperately they need a Savior.”

Protest Stem Express 6_1477411820748127924_n

Pastor Nick Triveri from Calvary Chapel Placerville, who also attends the demonstrations, said he has observed a loving response by the Christians who are taking a stand, “I am blessed by the Jesus like attitude all have displayed, and done so with love and boldness so as to stand for what is right, and for the innocent lives that are not only sacrificed on the altar of choice, but are being marketed for profit,” he said. “It is tragic that those standing for what is right, good, wholesome, and respectful of God given life are often painted as radicals, nuisances, or obstructionist. I thank God for all who are willing to stand and be a witness of the Lord against such heinous acts that have become so commonly accepted and condoned. If the eyes of just one person are opened, or just one child is saved by their witness and testimony it will all be worth it.”

Marcia detailed the beginning of the Stem Express protests when a small group of concerned citizens organized on Facebook with the intent of educating their community about Stem Express. Their first post from July read:

“the notion that such a practice would be going on within a company that have locations here in our town, is reason enough to speak up about our thoughts on the matter. For the most part Placerville and the El Dorado Foothills communities are tight-nit and conservative in their views. This is not the Bay Area.”

Stem Express protest media abortion prolife

That Facebook group was started by Lisa Hart and another Placerville citizen after they became aware of StemExpress’ involvement with Planned Parenthood. She contacted Misty Tienken to help organize the protests. Mary said that she wanted to focus on Stem Express’ practice of harvesting baby parts as well as potential illegal activity. Lisa said that within days of creating the People Protesting StemExpress Facebook page they had hundreds of followers, noting “I knew I had to take immediate action.”

By August 3, 2015 that group held their first protest receiving coverage from local media. On the 4th the group posted that they had received several thank you messages from people for “bringing awareness.” Then, by August 5th they discovered another group had planned to protest the abortion procurement company as well.

Stem Express Lisa Hart

“We’re trying to say stop this practice or get out of Placerville,” Lisa told News10. “We don’t condone this in our town. We don’t want this in our town.

By the 7th of August there were protests being organized in front of Stem Express on Mondays and then on Wednesdays. And by August 22nd those opposed to Stem Express were expressing their objections every Saturday. In no time, citizen groups unconnected to the Facebook People Protesting Stem Express group were so horrified that they also came out.

Hart said that shortly after the media covered their protests they received news that StemExpress had “cut ties” with Planned Parenthood. The Placerville resident said that in addition to the public outreaches, the group has requested that the Board of Supervisors audits Stem Express for alleged violations. In addition, they have contacted the local El Dorado County Sheriff’s department and demanded an investigation of the fetal tissue procurement company.

When the Center for Medical Progress videos flooded the media, Beth Mora said that she was shocked, “StemExpress was clearly identified as a company that bought and sold parts of babies. As horrible as that notion is, I stopped in my tracks for another reason. I recognized the buildings in the film. The scenery behind the reporter was my peaceful little rural town, Placerville, California,” she told Saynsumthn.

“Stem Express is part of a row of quaint buildings between our town’s beloved Buttercup Pantry and the Council of Arts building. The films made the pit in my stomach churn,” she added.

Beth Mora Stem Express

It was shortly after that when she saw an e-mail from Marcia Brim encouraging her to take a stand and she has been in front of Stem Express most Fridays thereafter, “Our presence says to our community-What is happening here is a crime of the worst proportion…Our sleepy rural town has awakened to what is happening just off of Main Street…The abortion industry forges black chain links with the hot red fires of blind passion. Sparks fly and black powder soot scatters with each smite of the pro-abortion campaign hammer. If standing on a sidewalk can weaken one link, then stand I will…I’m honored to chisel away at one link, a link that happens to live in my neighborhood,” she stated.

Marcia has been documenting her encounters outside Stem Express and is planning to publish them in a blog. She said that when she heard about the pickets in front of Stem Express she immediately contacted over 300 people she knew from a group she was involved with. She said people were grateful to have a way to speak up and the response has been tremendous. According to Marcia at three pastors have joined the protests already along with a variety of citizens from varying denominations and a number of citizens with no religious affiliation at all.

Planned Parenthood nightmare: “New York Times Headlines” on aborted baby harvesting of spinal cords and gonads b/c media doesn’t see big picture

In the latest undercover video from the Center for Medical Progress you get a sense that Planned Parenthood knew, before the videos were even exposed, that if the public got wind of what they were doing it would be a public relations disaster.

Aborted babies from CMP Planned Parenthood vid

Aborted babies from CMP Planned Parenthood vid

In this 10th video you get a sense of the fear that Planned Parenthood had in the possibility that their grisly baby parts operation would generate a possible “New York Times Headline.”

Despite 9 other videos, though, the media has been biased and even protective of the abortion business which gets millions in tax monies each year. However, social media is driving the public outrage over Planned Parenthood’s Mengele-like operation.

Previous videos by the pro-life group have shown Planned Parenthood top staffers haggling over money of the babies they abort. In addition, both Planned Parenthood doctors as well as a former procurement tech from Stem Express are heard describing the horrific way the abortion business harvests organs.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola admitted she would “crush above” or “crush below” the unborn child to protect the specific baby organ she wanted to procure.

Holly ODonnell Planned Parenthood heart face organs abortion

Then there was the horrific description of former StemExpress fetal procurement tech, Holly O’Donnell describing how she was lured into cutting through the face of an intact unborn child whose heart was beating to get brain tissue made me literally sick.

And she has one of her instruments and she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think,” O’Donnell says in the video.

Carolyn Westoff spinal cords Planned Parenthood baby parts

In the 10th video from CMP, Dr. Carolyn Westhoff, Senior Medical Advisor for PPFA tells what she thinks is a buyer from a Biotech company that the baby body parts most buyers want include spinal cords and gonads among others.

We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural,” says Dr. Westhoff to a prospective fetal organ buyer. “Certainly, everything we provide–oh, gonads! Oh my God, gonads. Everything we provide is fresh.”

The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2).

The first thought that came to my mind is, wouldn’t it be nice if, instead of buying spinal cords and gonads from innocent babies, that Congress and every attorney general in the country would get a “spine” and not only defund the baby parts harvesting organization but prosecute them?

Carolyn Westoff abortion volume 2bd tri abortion planned parenthood

At the event where the video is recorded, Westoff who is often quoted as an abortion expert, mentions to CMP that Planned Parenthood’s head of abortion services is there and could discuss the possibility of having their affiliates harvest babies, however, she acknowledges that if this got out to the public it would be a huge PR nightmare.

“Obviously, we would have the potential for a huge P.R. issue in doing this,” Westoff said before offering to introduce the buyers to “national office abortion people” from Planned Parenthood.

Vanessa Cullins Planned Parenthood aborted baby parts

Dr. Vanessa Cullins, Vice President for External Medical Affairs for PPFA who once said of HPV, “All of us get it,” echoed Westoff’s fears.

“This is important. This could destroy your organization and us, if we don’t time those conversations correctly,” she tells a prospective buyer.

Deb Van Derhei NAF Harvesting babies

Deborah VanDerhei, National Director for the Consortium of Abortion Providers (CAPS) at PPFA told the “buyer” that she has been talking about harvesting babies to the National Abortion Federation (NAF) and how to figure it all out as an industry and how the abortion clinics should be “compensated.”

CAPS is an influential committee within Planned Parenthood that drives abortion policy across the organization.

In the video, you hear VanDerhei referring to payments for fetal tissue as “donation for remuneration,” which carries the connotation of financial reward or benefit without regard for actual expenses, according to CMP.

I have been talking to the executive director of the National Abortion Federation, we’re trying to figure this out as an industry, about how we’re going to manage remuneration, because the headlines would be a disaster,” she says.

Planned Parenthood absent policy on aborted baby harvesting'

Despite Planned Parenthood’s repeated denial that they are illegalling selling the organs from babies they abort and then harvest, VanDerhei admitted to the undercover group that her organization is intentionally “absent a policy” but whatever their centers decide they needed to think “New York Times Headline” when creating one.

“We are absent a policy and that’s relatively intentional. And the policy that we do have suggests that you really think about what you are doing, vet your procurement service, and um, if there’s any way you can do it mission based that that’s probably better.

“And if you do decide that you want to engage in remuneration, that you really need to like think that through and think “New York Times Headline,” when you’re creating your policy,” the Planned Parenthood “abortion person” said.

If you recall from previous videos, this was reiterated by Planned Parenthood Federation of America Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola who stated clearly that there are no Planned Parenthood guidelines on “tissue procurement” saying “there will never be guidelines.”

Deborah Nucatola Planned Parenthood guidelines baby parts

When asked if there are any guidelines regarding compensation for the aborted tissue i.e. body parts of the human child, Nucatola said, “Nothing is written, there is nothing in stone.

This appeared to be the case because later in the video, the National Director for the Consortium of Abortion Providers (CAPS) at PPFA admitted, “We have independent colleagues who generate a fair amount of income doing this.”

Van Derhei Planned Parenthood harvesting income

VanDerhei suggests that Planned Parenthood goes to great lengths to avoid leaving a paper trail about their fetal tissue activity: “It’s an issue that you might imagine we’re not really that comfortable talking about on email.”

In a conversation recorded between VanDerhei and Vanessa Russo, Compliance Program Administrator for Planned Parenthood Keystone in Pennsylvania, Russo suggested that Planned Parenthood doesn’t need to worry about the “headlines” because they “can’t consent to be bullied by ridiculous laws” and a media that “doesn’t understand the big picture.

Vanessa Russo Planned Parenthood ridiculous laws harvesting baby parts

Adding that she loves the idea of being able to harvest babies for research. Russo said there was too much discussion on ridiculous things and that, “A company like this that wants to give our organization money for the tissue–I think that that’s a valid exchange, and that that’s okay.

VanDerhei, who had a longer history with Planned Parenthood disagreed with Russo’s casual take reminding her that, “A Congressional hearing from, you know, scared the Bejezzus out of people 15 years ago.”

She was referring to an investigation conducted by the pro-life group, Life Dynamics in Denton, Texas which originally exposed the way the abortion industry sells aborted baby parts. ( read here)

In the end, despite all the hurdles, VanDerhei emphasized that she wanted to make sure that when it comes to harvesting baby parts for remuneration, the take-away is “this is a good idea.”

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the country, responsible for 327,000 abortions every year, and receives $528 million in taxpayer money each year.

An audit recently conducted on Planned Parenthood Federation of America revealed that they spend over $62 MILLION for just employee compensation including salaries.

David Daleiden, Project Lead for CMP that, “From email black-outs to contorted oxymorons like ‘donation for remuneration,’ the lengths to which Planned Parenthood leadership will go to cover-up their illegal sale of aborted baby parts are nothing less than the desperation of a guilty conscience.”

“Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards openly admits they receive ‘$60 per tissue specimen,’ and their contracts with StemExpress offer payments per fetus ‘determined in the clinic to be usable.’ Planned Parenthood runs their abortion and baby parts business in open disregard for the law and should be prosecuted immediately. Their taxpayer funding should be reassigned to Federally Qualified Health Centers, which provide more and comprehensive health services at locations outnumbering Planned Parenthood 20 to 1.”

Rampant bacteria + staff problems in abortion clinics says StemExpress CEO calling Planned Parenthood a “volume institution” in baby parts harvesting

Posted in Aborted Baby Body Parts, Cecile Richards, Center for Medical Progress, Planned Parenthood sells aborted baby parts, stem Express with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on August 25, 2015 by saynsumthn

The Center for Medical Progress’ eighth video centers on a conversation they have in a public place with Stem Express CEO Cate Dyer. The company was originally operated out of Dyer’s home in rural El Dorado County until she grew it into a very lucrative a multi-million dollar company located in a 19,000-square-foot building in downtown Placerville.

Cate Dyer StemExpress Planned Parenthood CMP

I got really comfortable with tissue and organs,” Dyer once said.

The fetal tissue procurement company tried unsuccessfully to get a restraining order against the pro-life group to censor their first amendment right to release this footage.

On August 21, a California judge lifted a temporary restraining order, and today CMP showed what it had.

In this video release, the CEO of StemExpress expresses an interest in fetal livers which she claims they get a lot of requests for.

“Specifically liver tissue because that’s such an area of demand for us,” Dyer says.

Cate Dyer STem Express Fetal Liver Planned Parenthood

According to CMP, StemExpress, LLC, is a major buyer of fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood which tells the actors that she gets a lot of requests for baby livers. This is reflective in what StemExpress advertises on their website and in a Stem Express catalog that has since been removed.

But, a cached version still exists. For that reason, the screen grabs will look a little distorted than if the actual PDF was available.

Strem Express Catalogue

In the 2013-2014 Stem Express Catalog, owner Cate Dyer, CEO brags that they are the largest provider of fetal tissue globally:

A current (2015) screen grab off the Stem Express fetal liver order page on their website shows how lucrative the selling of human baby livers can be:

More on this here.

Ironically, when Dyer was asked by CMP what amount of fetal body parts would keep her lab happy she responded, “another 50 livers a week” would not be enough.

“I mean it’s you know volume for us,” Dyer points out.

“We’re working with almost like triple digit number clinics. So it’s a lot of volume – and we still need more…it’s a lot. So I don’t think you’re going to hit capacity with us anytime in the next ten years,” she added.

She later notes, “Planned Parenthood has volume, because they are a volume institution.”

PLANNED PARENTHOOD SUPPORT:

Cecile RIchards Planned Parenthood ABC

Stem Express said they terminated their relationship with Planned Parenthood after CMP began exposing the depraved baby parts operation weeks ago. However, in this conversation with StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer, Vice President of Corporate Development and Legal Affairs Kevin Cooksy, and Procurement Manager Megan Barr they admit getting lots of support from Planned Parenthood.

Asked if they feel supported from Planned Parenthood prez Cecile Richards and Planned Parenthood Federation of America Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola who once admitted she would “crush above” or “crush below” the unborn child to protect the specific baby organ she wanted to procure, Dyer responded, “Oh yeah everyone at PPFA [Planned Parenthood Federation of America] and the affiliates.”

INTACT FETUSES
Cate Dyer intact cases fetal Planned Parenthood Stem Express

As shocking as it should sound, Dyer admits the company gets “a lot” of intact fetuses.

“Oh yeah, I mean if you had intact cases, which we’ve done a lot. We sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety…So, that would also be great if you have those. Because, again the procurement for us I mean it can go really sideways depending on the facility and then our samples are destroyed and we’re like “really?” This was all so much work and then just to have them be destroyed is awful.”

STAFF AND BACTERIA IN CLINICS:

Cate Fyer Rampant bacteria abortion clinics planned parenthood CMP

In addition to her admission of procuring intact fetuses which implied the baby might have been aborted alive, and allowed to die a violation of federal law, Dyer says that there are bacterial problems inside many clinics.

I’ve seen really rampant – Rampant problems with bacteria in certain clinics. Some where you’re kind of like in question of really should they, really you know.

“I’ve seen staff in certain clinics. I mean I’ve seen all sorts of things come out of clinics,” she said.

FINANCIALLY BENEFICIAL

Stem Express financial profit Planned Parenthood

Dyer also agrees that payments to abortion clinics for fetal body parts should be financially beneficial to them. It is a violation of federal law to sell human fetal baby parts for profit.

The Stem Express CEO asks CMP who she thinks are buyers for a Biotech firm, if they think there are [abortion] clinics out that have been burned, or feel like they’re doing work for research and that isn’t profitable for them.

And then she responds, “I don’t see that either…I haven’t seen that.”

Stem Express financial benefit Planned Parenthood 1

StemExpress publishes a flyer for Planned Parenthood clinics that promises “Financial Profits” and “fiscal rewards” for clinics that supply aborted fetal tissue. It is endorsed by Planned Parenthood Mar Monte Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dorothy Furgerson.

CHOPPING UP BABIES NOT FOR EVERYONE:

Dyer also reveals that the aborted baby body parts industry is not for everyone:

“So many physicians are like, ‘Oh I can totally procure tissue,’ and they can’t,” she tells CMP, seeming to indicate that abortion doctors must do the procedure in a special way to obtain useable fetal parts. Federal law requires that no alteration in the timing or method of abortion be done for the purposes of fetal tissue collection (42 U.S.C. 289g-1).

ACADEMIC LABS FREAK OUT ABOUT FETAL BODY PARTS:

StemExPress CSU abortion tissue fetal

In the video, Dyer notes that many academic labs do not like to get fetal body parts because they look like babies.

It’s almost like they don’t want to know where it comes from,” she tells CMP.

“Where they’re like, we need limbs but no hands and feet need to be attached.”

“They want you to take it all off, like, ‘make it so that we don’t know what it is,’ ” she said.

“But, we know what it is,
    ” she said nervously giggling.

And, they’re lab techs freak out and have meltdowns,

The Stem Express head points out that many of the lab techs at Universities get into other areas of research do they don’t have to publish papers admitting they used fetal tissue.

Dyer notes that fetal tissue is very fragile calling it “insanely fragile.”

“It’s the hardest thing in the world to ship
,” she says.

In speaking about intact fetal heads, Dyer jokes, “Tell the lab it’s coming so they don’t open the box and go Oh God!”

StemExpress is a for-profit biotech supply company that has been partnered with Planned Parenthood clinics across the country to purchase human fetal parts since its founding in 2010. StemExpress’ Medical Director, Dr. Ronald Berman, is an abortion doctor for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte.

The sale or purchase of human fetal tissue is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000 (42 U.S.C. 289g-2). The Sacramento Business Journal reported in June that StemExpress has an annual revenue of $4.5 million.

The video is the eighth released by The Center for Medical Progress in its investigative journalism study of Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts.

A response to the video published by Planned Parenthood on Twitter claims the claims are fake:

Planned Parenthood responds to StemEXpress CMP Vid

“StemExpress is the ‘weakest link’ that unravels Planned Parenthood’s baby parts chain–they readily admit the profit-motive that Planned Parenthood and their proxies have in supplying aborted baby parts,” notes David Daleiden, Project Lead for CMP.

Congress and law enforcement should immediately seize all fetal tissue files from StemExpress and all communications and contracts with Planned Parenthood. The evidence that Planned Parenthood profits from the sale of aborted baby parts is now overwhelming, and not one more dime of taxpayer money should go to their corrupt and fraudulent criminal enterprise.”

Stem Express responded to the video by issuing a statement which reads in part:

STem Express signIn a “preview” video released immediately following the court’s ruling, the criminal defendants claim StemExpress “admitted” to receiving “intact fetuses” from Planned Parenthood. However, a cursory review of the unedited video or transcript reveals that the entire conversation was unequivocally discussing “intact” fetal livers, which are used by StemExpress for the development of isolated cells that are urgently needed by scientists and medical researchers working to cure cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. In fact, CMP itself has previously acknowledged that this portion of the conversation refers solely to fetal livers, but nonetheless continues to lodge unsupported false accusations at StemExpress.

StemExpress’s CEO, Cate Dyer, added the following personal response to these latest allegations:

Cate Fyer of Stem Express fetal body parts Consistent with the company’s prior public statements, StemExpress has never requested, received or provided to a researcher an ‘intact fetus.’ CMP’s and Daleiden’s continued lies reflect a sad attempt to malign StemExpress and me personally. As anyone can see and read, the entire discussion was, in fact, about ‘intact livers,’ which are used by StemExpress to develop and purify isolated cells used by our customers to support their critical scientific research. My use of the term ‘intact cases’ is a medical term of art that refers solely to ‘intact livers,’ as there was absolutely no mention of ‘intact fetuses’ at any point in over two hours of illegally recorded video.”

StemExpress vows to pursue a claim of damages against CMP and David Daleiden for what they describe as, “their illegal conduct.”
