A pro-choice woman destroys the sign of an anti-abortion protester outside the Smith Jersey Women’s Center abortion clinic.

The woman approached the pro-lifers with another pro-choice friend.

The protesters were carrying “Babies are Murdered Here” signs, which apparently upset the duo.

As the pair approaches, one of the pro-choicers tells them, “You guys have major F’ing issues.”

The pair blurt out a lot of expletives….when this pro-choicer walks up, and takes one of the group’s signs.

She begins to tear up the property of the pro-lifers.

The other pro-choicer shoots a bird back to the pro-lifers as they walk off.

SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Michigan — Anti-abortion activist James Pouillon tried to protect himself with his sign as he was shot multiple times on Sept. 11 in front of Owosso High School, a woman who witnessed the shooting testified this morning.

The trial of Harlan Drake, the man accused of gunning down Pouillon and gravel pit owner Michael Fuoss, began this morning in Shiawassee Circuit Court. Prosecutors said this morning that Pouillon was shot four times by Drake.

Alana Beamish dropped off her son at the high school just before the shooting that morning, she testified. She had a “front row seat” when Drake allegedly shot Pouillon, and she was the first person to reach Pouillon to assist him, she said.

She said a white truck with a cap came from behind her and cut her off as she was pulling out of the high school. The driver erratically swerved through traffic and pulled up to the curb near where Pouillon was standing with his sign of an aborted fetus, she said.

During at times emotional testimony, Beamish said she saw the shooter rest his left arm on the window to steady his right hand as he fired multiple shots at Pouillon. Pouillon tried to protect himself with his sign and used it to support himself before the shooter drove closer and fired again, she said.

“The shots rang out again and he fell to the side and onto his front,” she said.

She and other witnesses administered CPR to Pouillon, and she testified another man followed after the shooter.

There were “bullet holes everywhere” in Pouillon’s body, she testified.

“He was shot all the way around his body,” she said.

Pouillon’s daughter and an Owosso police investigator also testified briefly this morning. The defense, which is seeking an insanity defense, will call its witnesses, including Drake’s mother, wife and brother, after the prosecution rests. The trial is expected to take three weeks.

Memorial for pro-lifer Jim Pouillon gunned down by violent pro-choicer

With only a day’s notice, nearly 300 people attended the Sunday, Sept. 13th vigil for slain pro-lifer Jim Pouillon. With several reporters and TV cameras present, hymns were sung, prayers were offered, testimonials were proclaimed and Scripture readings declared. Scripture readings included: Isaiah 50: 4-9, Psalm 116 and Mark 8: 27-38: “Whoever wishes to save his life will lose it and whosever loses his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it.”

These words describe perfectly what happened to dedicated pro-lifer and devout Christian Jim Pouillon. Your CPLS director stated: “Jim was killed because he held the photo of a victim of abortion. Anyone who holds such a sign stands next to Jesus as he hangs on the Cross. To stand with such a sign is to place yourself on the side of the outcast, the abandoned, the unwanted, the misunderstood–and in that way you you stand next to Jesus on the Cross. No matter what anyone wants to say about Jim’s death–especially those who support abortion– he died for his faith and he died for the cause of life. That is the meaning of his death. He was a voice for the outcast and now his blood had been mixed with theirs.
His death must cause us to re-commit ourselves to the pro-life cause. We must become more generous, be willing to take risks and make sacrifices–allow ourselves to be spent for this cause. The pro-life cause is worth living for–it is worth dying for.

Frank Samson– the brave motorist who saw the gunman, Harlan Drake–followed him in his car after he shot Jim- and wrote down Drake’s license plate number. He turned over the information to the police who captured Drake before he was able to kill his third intended victim. Thus, Mr. Samson saved a life that day.
