Abortion rights protester uses racial slur when referring to MLK’s niece

You’ve seen them before, that revolutionary self-proclaimed Communist pro-abortion group, Stop Patriarchy laying on the ground in blood soaked clothes to draw attention to women they claim died from illegal abortion.

Stop Patriarchy

The abortion rights group pretends to care for women despite the fact that they never mention the women maimed and killed from legal abortion or those whose rapes are covered-up by the abortion industry.

But, despite all of that, the group seems to have a lot of anger against Blacks who oppose abortion, because Black pro-lifers know the eugenic and racist history of child killing, to the point of even using racial slurs against them.

In January, the group was in Oakland, California calling for a Ferguson style revolution after disrupting Black pro-life leaders at a rally there. (read story here)

Now, a report from Black leader, Dr. Alveda King has revealed that the radical reproductive rights hate group went after her with a racial slur.

According to reports, at the March for Life in Washington, D.C., members of this anarchist group cursed at Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., director of African-American Outreach for Priests for Life and a spokeswoman for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, as she led a one-woman, non-violent protest against their antics.

Dr. King said that a few dozen members of Stop Patriarchy gathered in front of the Supreme Court wearing white pants splattered with fake blood and harassing marchers and trying to tear down the signs that were set up for the Silent No More gathering that was about to begin.

This gathering honors women and men who regret their involvement with abortion, and listens to their voices.

As I was sitting in front of the Supreme Court that day, my 64th birthday no less,” said Dr. Alveda King, “the back and forth challenges between the pro-abortion protesters on one side and the pro-life marchers on the other side began to heat up. I began thinking of my uncle’s words, ‘We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters] or perish as fools’ and I began to pray. As I prayed, I became grieved in my heart, and seemed to be led by the Spirit of God to walk between the two groups and then lie down in the street with sanctity of life sign and pray.”

Alveda said that as she lay there, she began to pray for the radical group as well as pro-lifers at the march.

The pro-abortion protesters were shouting for ‘reproductive rights’ not seeming to understand that they were promoting death as a solution. Somehow, I just wanted to take them in my arms and lovingly explain to them, “Don’t you understand that every human person has the same right as you and me, the right to life? And that choice that you are fighting for is the choice to kill a tiny human person? And mothers and dads and everybody suffers from such choices?” she said.

“There was no room for my voice, there was so much shouting. So, I lay down on the ground and I quietly prayed for God to help us love each other and stop the killing.”

Someone shouted, ‘Get off of our property!’ I thought about sitting up and explaining that we all had the constitutional right to be there, but I just kept on praying.”

Then, a young man looked down at me and shouted something like “who is that old nigger bitch on the ground?”

“When someone from our Priests for Life team told him I am the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, he ran away into the crowd.”

Was that young man preaching respect for women?” Dr. King asked, “No, he was sharing a message of hatred, bordering on violence.”

He didn’t stay to hear Dr. King’s testimony of abortion regret. He didn’t hear the words of former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino, who described in detail how he used to perform dismemberment abortions, or of former Planned Parenthood worker Catherine Adair, who told of the cold and callous attitudes of people who kill babies for a living.

As Dr. King and the Priests for Life team watched some of the protesters led away, in wrist restraints, by the police, she made a silent vow:

“I will keep praying, whether standing, sitting, kneeling or from the ground, every year that the Lord permits me to and I will continue to pray for all humanity, not just until the day that we abolish abortion in America and around the world; but until God’s love breaks through the stony hearts and His glory is revealed.”

Priests for Life national director, Father Frank Pavone said people who are shouting in the streets about women’s enslavement are cowards who hide behind slogans and signs to avoid having to tell the truth about what they’re fighting for: Slaughter of the most innocent human beings.

But pro-lifers with the courage of Martin Luther King and his niece Alveda are not afraid of the truth.

When we fight this battle, we’re not afraid to talk about what we’re fighting for,” Father Pavone said. “We don’t content ourselves with cursing at our opponents and disappearing into the crowd. We’re not afraid to name the evil and describe it to the public, because the more we talk about what abortion really is, the more hearts and minds we win for life.”

Later, Dr. Alveda King talked about her experience:

Call for Dignity: Pro-lifers to protest Philly Med Examiners to bury abortionist Gosnell babies

Gosnell

Today Prolifers will gather in front of the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s office at 321 University Avenue, Philadelphia, demanding a burial for the babies murdered by Gosnell. Activists will be kneeling in prayer in front of the Medical Examiner’s office with the names of all the babies that were murdered by Kermit Gosnell which are still at that office. Some will be risking arrest if they are asked to leave.

The 47 unborn children discovered three years ago in a Philadelphia abortion clinic are part of an emotional dispute over whether foes of abortion can claim the remains for burial. An alliance of anti-abortion groups is pressing Philadelphia Medical Examiner Sam Gulino to give them the remains, now that Kermit Gosnell is in jail and his clinic is closed. Gulino says his office does not release remains to unrelated third parties. He has assured Priests for Life, Pro-Life Coalition of Pennsylvania, Christian Defense Coalition, and others that the remains will get a proper and respectful disposition. Michael McMonagle, president of the Pro-Life Coalition, says the groups will pay for the burials and want to bring dignity to the deaths.

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Washington, D.C. based Christian Defense Coalition, states,

“It is appalling and reprehensible for the City of Philadelphia to keep these children in storage at the Medical Examiner’s Office for up to 10 years after so many have requested they be released to them and given a proper and dignified funeral and burial.

“The official guidelines and regulations set forth by the Medical Examiner make it clear that any ‘interested’ party can put in a request asking for any unidentified person to be released into their care.

“Numerous national and local faith and community organizations have put in written formal requests for these children.

“The conviction of Kermit Gosnell on murder charges makes it clear that these babies are ‘persons’ and must be afforded the same equal rights as anyone else under the law.

“It is tragic and barbaric that government officials are playing ‘abortion politics’ with these innocent babies. These children were brutalized once by Kermit Gosnell. We are now demanding that they are not brutalized again by the City of Philadelphia.”

Pelosi said pro-lie priest was “acting hysterically” for rebuking her for calling late term abortion Sacred Ground

Posted in Pelosi with tags , , , , on June 25, 2013 by saynsumthn

Rather than answer the simple question as to what is the moral difference between killing a baby outside the womb or inside the womb, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has criticized Priests for Life, and its National Director, Fr. Frank Pavone, for raising the issue in an open letter, calling them arrogant, medieval, hysterical, and disconnected from the Church. (PFL Press Release here )

Pelosi Ab Sacred Ground

My faith is very deep and has been my whole life. I love my faith and my faith has nothing to do with whoever he [Father Frank Pavone] is. The arrogance of it all! It’s like something ancient, medieval….The Church taught me as I was growing up that every person has a free will and has the responsibility to live up to a moral standard. And I respect women’s judgment and values to do that. Whether this priest thinks his judgment should be another woman’s judgment is absolutely ridiculous to me. But nonetheless it’s what they say.I grant the Church where they are on abortion. That’s where they are, that’s where they have to be. But my faith isn’t about what their position is.
My faith is about, Christ is my savior, the church is his church, and has nothing to do with Priests for Life…. I wouldn’t even dignify whatever it is they said. It was a highly emotional statement that they made. If it were more intellectual I might have paid attention to it. He was acting hysterically.

FF Open Letter Pelosi

Fr Frank Pavone,”…on June 13, “As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me when we talk about this. I don’t think it should have anything to do with politics. With this statement, you make a mockery of the Catholic faith and of the tens of millions of Americans who consider themselves “practicing and respectful Catholics” and who find the killing of children — whether inside or outside the womb — reprehensible. You speak here of Catholic faith as if it is supposed to hide us from reality instead of lead us to face reality, as if it is supposed to confuse basic moral truths instead of clarify them, and as if it is supposed to help us escape the hard moral questions of life rather than help us confront them. Whatever Catholic faith you claim to respect and practice, it is not the faith that the Catholic Church teaches. And I speak for countless Catholics when I say that it’s time for you to stop speaking as if it were…”

Fox News’ Frank Luntz to pro-lifer, make pro-life politicians Shut Up

Bryan Kemper, Director of Youth Outreach at Priests for Life posted this on his Facebook Page:

“On my flight to Los Angeles this Morning I say [sic] next to Frank Lutz the FOX News pollster, he was very grumpy. He tried to tell me to make pro-life politicians to shut up about pro-life. Needless to say we disagreed. He put on his headphones and ignored me the rest of the flight.”

Frank Luntz is a world-renowned speaker, and appears frequently on television and radio. He is a Fox News contributor and a CBS News Analyst, and often appears during major political events and on his own Fox News specials. He speaks to groups around the globe.

One pro-lifer responded:
“That is so disappointing. You should write to Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and also post on their FB wall. Frank needs to be called out on this.”

As Frank says, “Anyone want to weigh in on this?”

Catholic Bishop to Keep Father Pavone in Texas Indefinitely
by Steven Ertelt | Amarillo, TX | LifeNews.com | 10/4/11 3:53 PM

Bishop Patrick Zurek of Amarillo, Texas has released a new letter concerning the status of Father Frank Pavone and has said the Priests for Life leader will be forced to remain in Texas indefinitely.

The letter, which appeared publicly on the Diocese of Amarillo website and which LifeNews blogger Gerard Nadal obtained, claims Father Pavone “remains suspended,” even though the Diocese had said publicly repeatedly before that that was not the case and that Pavone was a priest in good standing.

Zurek writes on September 30 that “at my discretion,” Pavone “has faculties for ministry in the Diocese of Amarillo. He does not have permission for ministry outside the Diocese. He is to remain in the Diocese for an indefinite period of time for prayer and reflection.”

Over the weekend, Father Pavone emailed LifeNews with a response to the letter, saying, “I’ve been told by my diocese, at the same time, that I am both “suspended” and “a priest in good standing.” Now I’m neither a canon lawyer nor a bishop, so I will admit that I’m a little confused.”

“The only thing I’m really sure of at this moment is that I am a priest, sitting in Amarillo, patiently awaiting clarification of my own status, and meanwhile, continuing to comply completely with the requirements of my Bishop,” he said.

In September, a statement issued by the Diocese of Amarillo indicated the Priests for Life leader is not accused of wrongdoing. The Diocese, in a statement obtained by LifeNews and written by reverend Monsignior Harold Waldow, Vicar of Clergy for the Diocese, said Pavone is accused of no wrongdoings.

“As the Vicar of Clergy for the Diocese of Amarillo and the Moderator of Curia I want to publicly state that Reverend Frank Pavone of Priests for Life is a priest in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church. He has all the faculties for ministry that every priest of our diocese has in and for the Diocese of Amarillo,” Waldow writes.

“I would also like to clarify a point that because there is a dispute about the auditing process and the complete audit for all the entities of Priests for Life, Rachel’s Vineyard, and the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life does not mean that Father Pavone is being charged with any malfeasance or being accused of any wrong doing with the financial matters of Priests for Life,” the statement continues.

Those comments were a confirmation of a statement Waldow already made in an interview with the Catholic News Service, where he said “Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, remains a priest in good standing in the Diocese of Amarillo, Texas.”

Father David Deibel, JD, JCL, Chief Canonist for Priests for Life, agrees and says it is “absolutely false” that Pavone is supposedly not in good standing with the Catholic Church.
“Father Pavone is and has been a priest in good standing. Moreover, the canonical language of “suspension” in this regard is a mistake. Father Pavone has not in any way incurred any ecclesiastical penalty. Nor is Father Frank under the threat of any penalty,” he said.

As a priest in good standing in the Amarillo diocese, Father Pavone has celebrated Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Amarillo.

As LifeNews has reported, the pro-life movement has been abuzz with the news that Amarillo Bishop Patrick J. Zurek of the Diocese of Amarillo has asked Father Pavone to come back to serve in the diocese and has temporarily prevented him from exercising his duties as the head of Priests for Life. Zurek alleges, with little supporting evidence, that there are financial irregularities at Priests for Life despite annual audits from one of the nation’s top accounting firms.

Priests for Life released a statement early in the discussion over Pavone’s status responding to some of the misreporting in the mainstream media making it appear Pavone has been “suspended” as a Catholic priest or from the organization. Priests for Life said it was widely misreported in various Catholic and secular media that the Most Reverend Patrick Zurek, Bishop of Amarillo, had “suspended” Rev. Frank Pavone, a priest of his diocese, and put him “on leave.”

Glenn Beck radio interview with Dr. Alveda King before Restoring Honor rally 8-27-2010

They were stolen from their homes, locked in chains and taken across an ocean. And for more than 200 years, their blood and sweat would help to build the richest and most powerful nation the world has ever known.

But when slavery ended, their welcome was over. America’s wealthy elite had decided it was time for them to disappear and they were not particular about how it might be done.

What you are about to see is that the plan these people set in motion 150 years ago is still being carried out today. So don’t think that this is history. It is not. It is happening right here, and it’s happening right now.
