Vid shows NARAL’s hypocrisy on pro-life pregnancy centers

NARAL has produced a vid accusing pro-life pregnancy centers of giving women alleged “false information” but they are hypocritical in their energy to oppose CPC’s when the abortion industry is filled with dangerous practices for women.

You know when you have hit a nerve when the LARGEST – I repeat the LARGEST abortion lobbying group in the nation NARAL has a full blown marketing scheme to slander pro-life pregnancy centers.

NARAL 990 2012

Just listen to the way they present information in the video below.

They do not quote one single source of documentation to counter any of the points they claim pro-life pregnancy centers make about abortion.

They cleverly selected “random members of the public” on the campus of the most liberal college in America, UC Berkley, who – right on cue- act shocked at what they were hearing.

Those “randomly selected members of the public” never state their views on abortion first.

Even more suspicious is that no one seems to oppose NARAL.

Now, in a nation that is majority pro-life- does that sound like a true selection of “random” passers-by to you?

The truth is that pro-life pregnancy centers far outnumber abortion clinics, 3500 nationwide according to their own stats.

Pregnancy Centers are run by donations while abortion (for which NARAL works to further) is a for-profit business.

So, if NARAL wants to question the motives and or actions of pro-life pregnancy centers go for it.

NARAL Planned Parenthood 990

But, do not for one moment think that NARAL’s motives – which are of course abortion on demand for any reason and at any stage- are pure as the driven snow.

The video begins with NARAL asking their alleged random public this question:

Who do you think are the types of people who would work at Crisis Pregnancy Centers?” they ask.

They quote no studies to show who works at pregnancy centers when they imply that medical professionals do not work at CPC’s.

But, even if that were true- pregnancy centers are NOT performing surgical procedures like – oh…say…Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics do.

But- when you try to inspect, regulate, or require abortion clinics to be operated by physicians, have the same standards as other surgical centers do, and be inspected at least once a year- NARAL fights it.

Point number two is that NARAL accuses pregnancy centers of claiming that “abortion is fatal.”

Wonder where a pregnancy center would get such an idea?

Perhaps they think of women like Tonya Reaves, Lakisha Wilson, Laura Hope Smith, Marla Cardomone and others now dead after their “safe and legal” abortions at clinics, Planned Parenthood centers, and even hospitals.

SafeandLegalabortion Marla Cardamone

Or…maybe they are referring to the unborn child who is left dead after the abortion.

According to NARAL death from legal abortion is a joke – because – and we all know the narrative “abortion is a safe and simple procedure.”

Then tell me NARAL why hasn’t that memo made it to the abortion clinics and Planned Parenthood centers who require women to sign an abortion “consent form” to waive her legal rights if she DIES from the abortion since it IS a possible complication?

NARAL also asks their “random member of the public” on the most liberal campus, “have you personally ever seen something that wasn’t a baby but thought it was a baby?”

“Like maybe you saw a pile of jackets in a stroller and you thought maybe it was a little person?”

NARAL CPC vid baby

NARAL asks the question because they claim that a pregnancy center incorrectly told a woman that her IUD was a baby, and they are mocking such a wrong diagnosis.

But- they fail to point out the numerous times an abortionist has a misdiagnosis or botches an abortion endangering women.

Like those so-called “dreaded complications” where an abortionist misses the BABY altogether and the child is born alive!

And, all those other kinds of pesky abortion “complications” NARAL ignores:

Students for Life of America has discovered that a lawsuit was filed against Planned Parenthood Metropolitan located in Washington, D.C. on February 12, 2008.

Emma Jean Butler is suing Planned Parenthood for $50 million dollars in damages. Butler took her daughter to the D.C. Planned Parenthood on September 7, 2006 to abort a child conceived in rape. During the abortion, the young girl sustained severe abdominal bleeding, severe vaginal injury, severe injury to the cervix, significant uterine perforation, and a small bowel tear. In addition, parts of the child were found inside young girl’s abdomen on September 8, 2006. Because of these injuries, the young girl will be infertile for the rest of her life.

Planned Parenthood Metropolitan has denied the injuries suffered and the infertility of the young girl. In addition, they state in their answer that Butler’s claims are barred by the doctrines of informed consent and assumption of risk.

When a woman dies or is injured by abortion – its just a “complication of surgery” to abortion advocates….

And, as long as we are talking about those misdiagnoses – what about the woman who isn’t pregnant and the FOR PROFIT abortion clinic says she is?

Is NARAL speaking out about that?

In that instance the woman is often put under anesthesia to have risky SURGERY performed one her!

But hey….nothing to see here….move along…we must send NARAL undercovers into the pregnancy centers that DON’T do surgery and where women NEVER die rather than dangerous abortion clinics.

Lest you think this type of misdiagnosis never happens? Think again:

abortion not pregnant

In early December, an Oklahoma abortion doctor was arrested after an undercover sting revealed that he was offering to perform abortions on women who were not pregnant.

News reports indicated at that time that undercover agents set up appointments with the 62-year-old abortionist where they say he administered ultrasounds and pregnancy tests and then told them they were pregnant, when they weren’t.

Funny I do not see a video by NARAL about the risk of abortion, the women who die now from legal abortion, the Gosnells and the Steven Chase Brighams and others who are shut down by health officials the numerous ambulance calls because of abortion complications, and on and on the list goes?

Wonder why?

Because, NARAL’s sole reason for existence is to advocate FOR abortion and they cannot do that if women have the legitimate “choice” to visit a pregnancy centers and receive FREE – yes FREE help!

Because….abortion has never been about CHOICE $$$ !!

In conclusion, I must say that for NARAL to send undercover supporters into pro-life pregnancy centers they must have a lot of time on their hands.

I mean…come NARAL, get a life already. (No pun intended.)

Pro-life sign vandalized in Illinois

A sign that was put up by pro-lifers in Illinois has been vandalized.

In April of 2014 the pro-life sign was placed on the property of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Freeport, Ill.

It was a simple sign showing a beautiful baby with the print reading “Take my hand, not my life.”

Sign prolife vandalized

According to the group, “We first noticed a heart scratched into the sign itself; then we saw some type of defacing of the baby’s face, and thirdly we noticed that on the upper right side of the sign something had been used to pound upon it and made dents in that particular area.”

This sign was put in place to help women in need of assistance during an unplanned pregnancy. The name and number of a local pregnancy center is on the sign and we have received information stating that women have come to the center for help because they either saw this sign or one of the similar signs placed in the Freeport area. It’s a sad state of affairs when the pro-abortion (pro-choice) advocates will not even tolerate an organization offering to give help and support to mothers and their babies,” the group writes.

Although pro-lifers were able to clean up most of the sign this is not the first time they have been targeted.

Other pro-life signs have been a defaced by pro-choice vandals.

Abortion advocates are planning protests in front of a Catholic Church in the Houston, Texas area.

Now Houston Protest Church 02524029623_n

Their “Red Mass Protest” Facebook page reads,” Come protest the Catholic Church’s efforts to use the courts to impose their religious views on others under the guise of “religious liberty.” Show your support for birth control, abortion rights, marriage equality, anti-discrimination laws, and separation of church and state.”

Red Mass Protest

The event is hosted by Houston’s National Organization for [some] Women (NOW ) and is slated to take place on October 21 at 5:45pm Outside the Co-Cathedral at 1111 St. Joseph’s Parkway in Houston.

Houston NOW protest a chuch

NOW writes on their Facbook page, “The Catholic Church celebrates a “Red Mass” annually in recognition of the start of the judicial calendar throughout the United States. Judges, lawyers, law students and others in the legal profession are the targets of this event and are specifically invited to attend. In recent years the Church has used it as an occasion to push their judicial agenda of opposition to birth control, abortion, and gay marriage. Many members of the Supreme Court have attended the DC “Red Mass” in the past and likely a number of them will be at the DC mass this year. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg attended soon after she was appointed to the court and said afterwards that she would never go again because the occasion was being used to push the Church’s position on issues pending or likely to be pending before the Courts.

“Come protest the Catholic Church’s efforts to use the courts to impose their religious views on others under the guise of “religious liberty.” Show your support for birth control, abortion rights, marriage equality, anti-discrimination laws, and separation of church and state.”

In August, the radical pro abortion rights group, Stop Patriarchy protested in front of San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio.

Meanwhile- Houston pro-choice advocates are planning protests of Crisis Pregnancy Centers as well:

According to their Facebook post, “Poppy Northcutt of Houston NOW is looking for volunteers to protest fake pregnancy help centers, particularly the Fifth Ward Pregnancy Help Center (743 Shotwell St, Houston, TX 77020; They seem to have the most appointments of all the Christian anti-abortion clinics. (For more information on “pregnancy help centers”, check this page out: The majority of their appointments seem to be on Thursdays between 9am and 9 pm, so Poppy tells me that’s the best time to come out. If we can get two volunteers, at least one person who is not male-identified, that would be ideal. One person would have a sign saying something like “religion is practiced here, not medicine”, and the other (the non-male-identified person) would talk to people as they walked in and give them brochures. Poppy says they already have signs and brochures, and she’s looking to start next week.

Prochoice Protest of 5 th ward

The continue, “Also, another activist opportunity from Poppy: “Thursday, Oct. 2 is “National Pro-Life Chalk Day” where students are urged to put out anti-abortion chalk messages especially on college campuses. Anyone interested in chalking a couple of our local fake clinics with some fake clinic messages early that morning before they open? Both the CPC on San Jacinto and the one off Lockwood have some nice public sidewalk space. A special treat is that from my observations Thursdays are a busy day at the CPC off Lockwood.

She then leaves a way to contact her, “Please let me and/or Poppy ( know if you’re interested!”

My Guess is that he Fifth Ward PHC or the churches being targeted could use some pro-life help…..maybe some of those reading this blog could offer it….

Powdery substance found in envelope at Pro-Life…, posted with vodpod

WICHITA, Kansas – Police and FBI agents were on the scene of an east Wichita crisis pregnancy center after a powdery substance was found in an envelope by an employee Wednesday afternoon.

At least half a dozen women were in the Better Choices Women to Women building, in the 3000 block of E. Central when one of the employees opened an envelope. Inside was nothing more than a powdery substance. The woman contacted her supervisor who contacted the FBI.

McConnell Air Force Base officials also responded with their mobile decontamination unit to try and determine what the substance was.

It is not known who sent the envelope and where it might have come from.

No one was injured.

Pro-abortion Mayor ousted for embezzelment

Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon to step down Feb. 4 as part of a plea deal in a corruption case.

A city jury convicted Dixon Dec. 1 of embezzling about $500 in donated gift cards intended for the poor. The mayor reached a plea deal Jan. 6, agreeing to resign, perform 500 hours of community service and pay $45,000 to charity.

Mayor Sheila Dixon signed a bill attacking pro-life pregnancy centers that help women find abortion alternatives. City Council Bill 09-0406 would fine pregnancy centers $150 per day if they don’t post a sign saying they do not also provide abortions.

City Council President Stephanie Rawlings-Blake sponsored the measure that the city council approved on a 12-3 vote.

The council defeated an amendment to the bill that would have required abortion businesses to post a similar sign confirming they do not provide abortion alternatives.

With Dixon’s signature, Baltimore will be the first city in the nation to target pregnancy centers in what could become a growing phenomenon.

Melinda Delahoyde, the president of Care Net, said the new law is “nonsensical,” “unwarranted,” and “discriminatory.”…“It is nonsensical for the Baltimore City Council to undermine local efforts to provide free support to pregnant women in their city, but that’s exactly what they’ve accomplished with this legislation,” Delahoyde said.

“It’s particularly alarming when abortions are decreasing nationwide, but increasing in the state of Maryland,” she added.

Delahoye said the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute noted the abortion rate in the U.S. has decreased nine percent since 2000 to 19.4 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age in 2005.

On the other hand, Maryland in 2005 had a rate of 31.5 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age, an increase of eight percent since 1992.

“Pregnancy centers help to reduce abortions by providing free, compassionate support and practical help to women facing unplanned pregnancies. For nearly 30 years, the first center Care Net opened, the Greater Baltimore Center for Pregnancy Concerns, has been faithfully serving the women of Baltimore,” the women’s leader told today.

“In this economy, and with abortion on the rise, wouldn’t it make more sense for the Baltimore City Council to pass a resolution praising the contribution of pregnancy centers, which rely solely on charitable contributions, not on state or local funding?” she asked.

Delahoyde also said the city council and Mayor Dixon supported the bill to please Planned Parenthood and NARAL, the pro-abortion advocacy groups that advocated for the measure to hurt pregnancy centers.

“Not one client has ever complained about their experience there. So, why was the bill introduced, other than to satisfy the demands of an abortion lobbying group?” she asked.

“Sadly, this bill sends a message to city residents that local pregnancy centers may not be completely forthcoming about their services. This couldn’t be further from the truth and is an affront to women who rely on their support,” she added.
