Group seeking to ‘win justice’ for people of color joins with group aborting them

Planned Parenthood, with its deep ties to the eugenics movement, is behind yet another attempt to reach people of color. According to an April 2018 USA Today article, “Planned Parenthood Votes, Center for Community Change Action, Color Of Change PAC and the Service Employees International Union are behind the ‘Win Justice’ program….” What USA Today doesn’t say is that pro-abortion billionaire George Soros is the one funding “Win Justice” — which the IRS shows was set up in March — to the tune of $3 million dollars. A March 2018 search at the FEC website revealed Soros was the only contributor at that time. What’s more, as of the writing of this article, reports show funds have not been spent on specific campaigns. Rather, the money received by “Win Justice” is going to Planned Parenthood.

Image: Win Justice Planned Parenthood Soros MoneyThe “Win Justice” effort was announced in April and includes a $30 million investment in a joint political campaign. According to CNN, Planned Parenthood’s share of those dollars is $20 million.

Since April, additional donations trickled in — some from Soros family members and $1 million from the SEIU. The July 2018 report shows “Win Justice” disbursed $301,000 to Planned Parenthood Votes.

SEIU’s involvement is no mystery. The SEIU is a major funder of left-wing organizations and is well-known for promoting abortion. Former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards’ husband, Kirk Adams, has held several leadership positions at this powerful union.

But it certainly seems counterintuitive for groups supposedly concerned with minorities to join ranks with an organization steeped in eugenics — an ideology that manifested itself in many ways, including the forced sterilization of many Black citizens. From the documentary Maafa21:

Planned Parenthood’s roots in eugenics date back to their founder Margaret Sanger, who was a member of the American Eugenics Society, and who was an invited speaker to members of the Ku Klux Klan. As Live Action News previously reported, many within Planned Parenthood’s organization and other population control groups thought coercion might be needed to stem the growth of people groups they deemed “unfit.”

Color of Change (COC), launched in 2005, exists, according to its website, to build “a new, effective strategy for changing the rules society lives by, and ending the injustices Black people face.” Likewise, the Center for Community Change (CCC), founded during the civil rights struggles of the 1960’s, says on its website that it works “to build the power and capacity of low-income people, especially low-income people of color, to change their communities and public policies for the better.”

In 2017, Dorian Warren, CCC’s incoming president, attended Planned Parenthood‘s national conference.

On the surface, CCC cloaks its abortion/Planned Parenthood agenda. Its 2018 “Path to Power” document says nothing about these issues, until you scroll near the end where they quote Cecile Richards (recently honored by CCC) for Planned Parenthood’s shared goals… to recruit people of color.

Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger are well known for their recruitment of members of the Black community to promote a eugenics agenda. Sanger recruited Black ministers to her infamous “Negro Project,” while Planned Parenthood added Black leaders to its organization to counter suspicions of “Black genocide” in the 1960s and 70s.

According to CCC’s 2017 annual report, money is flowing to CCC from a variety of left-wing organizations, many which have bankrolled the abortion industry for years, including Soros’ Open Society Foundation:

Color of Change was sought after by Open Society for its U.S. Programs Opportunities Fund (USP) because COC had “younger, social-media savvy African Americans.”

According to Open Society Board notes, “USP staff members have played active roles in providing consultative support and referrals to technical assistance, fostering connections to funding leads… organizing briefings, and engaging in conversations with grantees about how we can use our positioning and access to be a thoughtful and constructive partner, not just a funder.”

Open Society assisted COC to “aggressively help it raise resources, within USP and with other funders, so that it may stay on track with rapid expansion that now includes more than 900,000 online members and a 16 person staff.”

CCC was also funded by Open Society, as detailed in documents from 2013 and 2014.

Tragically, instead of fighting for the civil rights of all people, including preborn persons in the womb, these Black community organizers are aiding Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the nation, in its unjust killing of minority children in the womb.

While change can be necessary, it should not come on the backs of innocent babies.

SEIU partners with Planned Parenthood to get voters to support pro-abortion candidates

SEIU, the Center for American Progress, American Women, Planned Parenthood and other partners have announced today the launch of Fair Shot Action, what they call, “a new effort aimed at engaging voters on issues surrounding women.

FairShotAction SEIU

According to their press release, the coalition will help voters understand, “which candidates support women’s access to reproductive health” which is code for abortion on demand as they describe it as, “an area that has been under attack during the last year as a result of the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision.”

SEIU Press Release Oct 2014 PP

A major component of the new effort will be a new online tool called Fair Shot Voter, where voters can pledge support and commit to act on those policies and can find information on state and local records on these issues.

Co-Sponsors of Fair Shot Voter include, AAUW Action Fund, Center For American Progress Action Fund, Emily’s List, Fair Shot Oregon, Generation Progress Action Fund, Moms Rising, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, PowerPAC+, Ultraviolet, USACTION and Women’s Voices Women Vote Action Fund.

The SEIU has close ties to abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

According to a 2012, Planned Parenthood Federation of America 990, the abortion giant paid the SEIU-CC LLC, $1,067,934.00 for telemarketing !

Seiu 2012 Planned Parenthood 990

According to a Planned Parenthood Federation of America 990, in 2011, the abortion giant gave the SEIU $816,847 to do marketing for them.

Planned Parenthood SEIU 2011

According to the SEIU’s Communications Center, “When you need to get your message out quickly, there is no better call center option… anywhere. We specialize in supporting political candidates and campaigns, issue organizations and labor unions.”

SEIU Marketing

A February 2012 job posting from the SEIU shows they were hiring Contact Center Agents, to, “be the first point of contact for people who are seeking healthcare services at Planned Parenthood clinics around the country. SEIU-CC, LLC’s Virtual Contact Center is hiring agents who will handle incoming phone calls and online chats, on behalf of our client, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.”

Planned Parenthood CEO speaks at Women in the NAACP event

This week, the North Carolina NAACP hosted the “Women in the NAACP Conference/Mother of the Year Coronation.”

The event took place 3rd May at New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.

Janet Colm 2

But – according to Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina, one of their CEO’s spoke at this NAACP event.

Planned Parenthood is an organization whose founder was an admitted Klan speaker, and inviting Planned Parenthood to a local NAACP event seems an odd choice to me.

SangerKKKBook

Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, after which the organization still names their most prestigious award, admitted in her own autobiography that she gave Klan Speeches. In addition, Sanger and many of the original Planned Parenthood Founders were members of the American Eugenics Society.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund of Central North Carolina boasted on their facebook page, “Our own CEO, Janet Colm, will be speaking as well as our Bertha “B” Holt award winner of this year, Senator Earline Parmon. It’s sure to be a great event!

Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina clearly offers abortions:

According to Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina’s 2014 annual report they assisted 4,295 women in “abortion care” in 2013 alone.

Sadly, during her speech, Planned Parenthood CEO Janet Colm did not try to hide their child killing connections, and told the “good baptists” at this NAACP event that they, in fact, do provide abortion services and it was clear from the vid that no one objected to this.
Janet COlm NAACP

Colm told the NAACP, “I am the CEO of Planned Parenthood. We have, in North Carolina, nine health centers spread across the state. We serve about 25,000 men and women….and in four of our locations we provide respectful compassionate affordable abortion services for women….

Colm also said that she was at this NAACP with “her advocacy hat on” representing Planned Parenthood Action Fund of North Carolina and admitted that Planned Parenthood is “often identified with abortion and it an important part of our service mix…

Colm told the church crowd of NAACP members that the terms “pro-choice” “pro-life” are outdated labels because the “they don’t reflect the reality” of decisions women make.

Colm then told the NAACP church crowd that “I know the NAACP doesn’t have a position on abortion but it does have a position on Health care and that is the spirit that I am here with you today…

Colm then goes onto to say that Health Care is tied to racism and immigration. But fails to mention the racism of Planned Parenthood’s founder. She wastes no time in bringing up the so-called “war on Women” linking it to birth control, Medicaid expansion, federally funded insurance coverage, voting rights, labor rights, and public education.

Despite the clear ties North Carolina has to Eugenics through their health department which was funded by Clarence Gamble, a friend of Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, Colm bragged at the progressiveness of the state with regard to offering birth control through the health department in the 1930’s.

This connection that this Planned Parenthood center has with the NAACP in North Carolina is not a one time deal.

Janet Colm was present last moth when NAACP board member, Rev. Doctor William Barber 11 , received the Planned Parenthood Care. No Matter What Award from Planned Parenthood Action. And, SURPRISE….it was the same Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II who presented remarks along with the Planned Parenthood CEO Janet Colm at this NAACP event inside a Baptist Church.

Planned Parenthood + Media attack Texas Gov. but Wendy Davis used single mom for sympathy in politcal ads

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , on June 28, 2013 by saynsumthn

Planned Parenthood and the media are attacking Texas Gov. Rick Perry for mentioning the fact that pro-abortion state Senator Wendy Davis was a single mom who should have known better than to stand for the promotion of child killing through abortion. It seems hypocritical, since Davis herself used the sympathy of being a single mom to tout her “accomplishments” in her own political ads.

PP Perry

WendyDavis-Fight

NBC attacked Perry saying, “Texas Gov. Rick Perry said on Thursday that the Democratic state lawmaker who halted a restrictive abortion law “hasn’t learned from her own example” after having been born into adversity and becoming a teenage mother before going on to success as a Harvard law grad and legislator.”

Then Planned Parenthood weighed in: “Rick Perry’s remarks are incredibly condescending and insulting to women,” Planned Parenthood said in a statement. “This is exactly why the vast majority of Texans believe that politicians shouldn’t be involved in a woman’s personal health care decisions.”

PerryRTL
“Even the woman who filibustered in the Senate the other day was born into difficult circumstances,” Perry said. “It’s just unfortunate that she hasn’t learned from her own example that every life must be given a chance to realize its full potential and that every life matters.”

DMN WendyDavis Perry

The Dallas Morning News weighed in as well:
HEADLINE: Gov. Rick Perry uses Sen. Wendy Davis’ personal story to question her abortion stance, prompting backlash

Perry was quickly pilloried by Democrats. Davis, who was raised by a single mother, said his statement was “without dignity and tarnishes the high office he holds.”
“They are small words that reflect a dark and negative point of view,” the Fort Worth Democrat said in a written statement.

And this is how the liberal / left wing/ pro-abortion THINK PROGRESS reported the story:

Perry Think Progress

But this 2011-2012 ad shows Wendy Davis herself using Single mom in a political ad:

WendyDavisAd2

The ad clearly touts Wendy Daviss “accomplishments” “Wendy was a single mom by 19 while working two jobs a brochure inspired her to try community college”

WendyDavisPoliticalAd

Here Davis’ herself admits she was RAISED BY A SINGLE MOM and says that “By the time I was 19, I was a single parent”:

Davis says that beauty is the ability to show care and concern for others- what about the kids she “stood” to kill through abortion?

FYI – The Blaze has reported that Davis, wore a catheter to ensure that she wouldn’t need to go to the restroom during her marathon performance.

Elitist Planned Parenthood Action Fund Board Member contributes to Texas Democratic gubernatorial nominee Bill White

Posted in Planned Parenthood, Politics with tags , , , , , on August 9, 2010 by saynsumthn

The Dallas Morning News reported : Texas Democratic fundraising revived
08/08/2010 Associated Press

The financial success of Democratic gubernatorial nominee Bill White has revealed a new generation of wealthy contributors who are stepping forward to back Texas Democratic candidates.

Carrett Boone, founder of The Container Store chain, and wife Cecilia have donated more than $700,000 to Democratic candidates and allied groups in the past two years. Namoi Aberly, a former Neiman Marcus executive and former chairwoman of Planned Parenthood of North Texas, has donated more than $200,000. Houston trial lawyers Amber and Steve Mostyn, both 39, have donated $3 million to Democratic candidates this campaign cycle.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, announced the addition of five members to its Board of Directors. One of the new members — is Naomi Aberly, (the others: Joanne Egerman, Irma Esparza, Minyon Moore, and Michael Vachon )

Naomi Aberly has been active in more than a dozen civic and political organizations, including Obama for America and Annie’s List. She is a fundraiser for Democratic candidates at all levels. She currently serves on the board of Planned Parenthood of North Texas and is the current chair of their capital campaign, and she is a former board member of the Texas Association of Planned Parenthood Affiliates.

According to BarackObama.com she was on the 2008 OBAMA PRESIDENTIAL NATIONAL FINANCE COMMITTEE

Capitol Inside reports that Naomi Aberly – As the chairman of the board at Annie’s List and one of the group’s largest donors, Aberly oversees a group that’s contributed more money to Democratic candidates in Texas in recent years than any organization that’s not funded exclusively by trial lawyers. Annie’s List has played a key role in electing a significant number of Democratic candidates who are women to legislative and local offices – and Aberly is a big reason why the group has had so much cash to spend since its inception in 2003. Aberly, who’s donated several hundred thousand dollars to the Texas Democratic Trust as well, is a Detroit native who moved to Dallas after graduating from Amherst College to take a job in the retail industry with Neiman Marcas. She gravitated into the political arena after going to work as a volunteer at the North Texas chapter of Planned Parenthood before eventually ascending to the job as the chairman of the non-profit group’s board of directors. She raised significant sums of money for Barack Obama and now she’s doing the same for Bill White in his campaign for governor.
