Imagine that, a pro-abortion politician having to convince others that she is a “real person?” Such was the case of Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton this weekend on “Face the Nation.”
In her first Sunday show appearance in four years, CBS News’ John Dickerson asked Hillary for three words that describe Hillary Clinton.
Unable to answer the question in three words, Clinton said she had been in public life so long people forget that she is just a regular person that goes shopping emphasizing, “I am a real person.”
Clinton, once thought to be the sure-win for the Democrat presidential nomination is treading water in the polls as opposition Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders gains support among liberal voters.
But a recent CNN/ORC Poll shows Hillary is leading the socialist libertarian Sanders by 42% of Democratic primary voters nationally, compared to 24% for Sanders, 22% for Biden and 1% for former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
But, Clinton’s insistence that she is a “real person” does beg the question:
-
Exactly what IS a real person?
In the same Face the Nation interview when Hillary Clinton was asked if she supported a federal limit on abortion at any stage in pregnancy, she gave this heartless response:
“This is one of those really painful questions that people raise and obviously it’s really emotional. I think that the kind of late term abortions that take place are because of medical necessity and therefore I would hate to see the government interfering with that decision. I think that uh, again, this gets back to whether you respect a woman’s right to choose or not. And I think that’s what this whole argument, once again, is about.”
In addition to supporting late term abortions generally, as Senator, Clinton defended gruesome partial birth abortions where the baby is delivered up to the shoulders with the head remaining in the birth canal. Rather than allowing the child to simply be born, Clinton supported allowing the abortionist to then suck out the child’s brain in order to deliver a dead baby.
During that The March 12, 2003 debate, Senator Rick Santorum pointed out to Clinton that out of the 182 partial birth abortions reported in one year in the state of Kansas, none were done for medical reasons.
Hillary Clinton still repeated that lie despite the fact that years earlier, pro-choice spokesperson, Ron Fitzsimmons who headed the of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers (NCAP) acknowledged to Nightline that, “The majority of these procedures are performed in the late second trimester on healthy women and healthy fetuses.” He estimated the abortion lobby was performing 3000 to 5000 of these procedures annually.
Then in 2013, late term abortionist Susan Robinson admitted many women are not coming to her for late term abortions because of health reasons.
In an interview she admitted the following:
-
“I’ve had women that only got a positive on their third test. And either way they think they just got pregnant. They have no idea they’re in their 24th week. So they make an appointment for an abortion, and it takes a few weeks, and they have their ultrasound and find out that they’re at 27 weeks, which is too far for an abortion anywhere. So then what happens? They either give up or have a baby, or they go on the Internet and they find us.”
Hillary Clinton, is a long time supporter of abortion and Planned Parenthood and once praised their racist founder, Margaret Sanger. She remains an ardent defender of Planned Parenthood despite under cover videos from the Center for Medical Progress exposing their baby harvesting operations.
Hillary Clinton once said she wanted abortion to be “safe, legal and rare” claiming for political motivations at the time, it was a moral issue that should not be diminished as a moral issue.
Today, Hillary Clinton is much more hardened and refuses to restrict child killing in the womb at all. By consistently mouthing the line that abortion is a woman’s right to choose, Clinton denies that unborn babies are “real persons” worthy of protection under the Constitution. So, it is ironic that now the America public is refusing to see Hillary as a real person as well.
