Media focus is Planned Parenthood shooting while ignoring violence at other medical centers

“Shots fired at clinic,” those are words we have all heard over and over again this weekend after a deranged man, Robert Lewis Dear, went to a Planned Parenthood and shot and killed three people including officer Garrett Swasey, unrelated to the abortion clinic, injuring five officers and four civilians.

But, I am not talking about Planned Parenthood, I am talking about an October shooting at a VA Clinic that the national media has not reported about. I wonder why? It’s a clinic, involves a gun, and police right? All ingredients for a sensational story- one would think.

The pro-abortion media tries to paint Planned Parenthood as a regular “health center” yet, when there is a shooting at a Planned Parenthood it becomes headline story for days, weeks, months on end while other medical facility shootings take back stage or get no reporting at all.

One example is this one in Rockford, Illinois, September 28,2015.

    A gunman who held police at bay for hours inside a medical clinic in Rockford after firing shots inside the building is now in custody, police say. Police said Steven Dummer, of Rochelle, opened fire on the second floor of the Crusader Community Health Clinic in the 1100-block of Broadway around 2:30 p.m. Monday. Anywhere from two to five shots were fired, police said. Police responded quickly and all patients and staff made it out of the building safely. No one was injured in the incident.

According to the Rockford Register Star:

    After a four-hour standoff with Rockford police, Steven A. Dummer, 36, of Rochelle, surrendered without incident and was arrested on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held in the Winnebago County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 29. It was not clear Tuesday why Dummer was at the clinic or what prompted him to shoot. However, police did say he had threatened suicide. While Dummer negotiated with police from a second-floor lobby, Eggers said the staff went above and beyond evacuating the clinic. “We had pediatricians carrying children out,” he said. “We had physicians caring for people in the parking lot. We had staff driving people home who couldn’t get to their cars in the parking lot. We have a pharmacy in the clinic, but patients weren’t able to use it. So we had staff picking up prescriptions at other locations.

In June of this year a doctor was shot and killed at a Texas medical clinic, reports India West:

    Indian American cardiologist Suresh Gadasalli, who performed the world’s first simultaneous hybrid revascularization, was shot dead by his friend and business associate who then committed suicide in Odessa, Texas, police said. Gadasalli, 53, was shot dead by 60-year-old patient and business associate Ayyasamy Thangam at the Healthy Heart Center June 11, according to a release issued by the Odessa Police Department.

His patients reacted in shock as NewsWest9 reported:

    A day after Dr. Suresh Gadasalli was shot to death at the Healthy Heart Clinic, his patients are remembering their caretaker and friend.
    “I was shocked,” said Cathy Connally. “I couldn’t believe it. I said, ‘No, that can’t be true. He was so nice.’ I thought, ‘who would hurt him?'” ….Thursday afternoon, tragedy struck when one of Dr. Gadasalli’s patients and business partners, Ayyasamy Thangam, shot Gadasalli multiple times before ending his own life. “It said Doctor Shot at Healthy Heart Center and I thought, ‘wait.’ I looked at my friend and I said it’s the Healthy Heart Center. I said it’s Dr. Gadasalli,”

A Boston cardiologist was shot and killed on his way into his offices this past January, reports the Wall Street Journal:

    Police said they believe the apparent gunman, 55-year-old Stephen Pasceri of Millbury, Mass., was targeting Dr. Davidson when the gunman entered the Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center about 11 a.m. Mr. Pasceri went to the surgeon’s second-floor office and asked to speak to him, police said. After an altercation in a foyer between the waiting room and an examination room, the assailant shot Dr. Davidson twice, police said. Mr. Pasceri was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an examination room, they said.

In September, an Ohio man had planned to take several weapons to a clinic before police apprehended him, according to this Fox8 report:

Charles R. Shaw, 76, killed his own son during an argument on Sherwin Drive in Twinsburg Tuesday evening, police said. According to the preliminary report from the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office, Charles Shaw was angry about his medications from Cleveland Clinic. “Charles got two weapons, a rifle and a 38 caliber, and was going to Cleveland Clinic to do some damage,” the report said. “Scott Shaw attempted to stop his father and was then shot by his father.” When officers arrived, Charles Shaw was reloading his gun near the body of 55-year-old Scott R. Shaw. Police said Charles Shaw refused to put down his weapon and pointed it at police. That’s when an officer fatally shot him.

And this month, a man killed his step-daughter and himself at a Florida hospital. November 23, 2015 WTSP reported:

    A man killed a woman visiting a hospital Monday then turned the gun on himself Monday morning, authorities said. Alonna Tedesco, 41, was shot on the third floor of Florida Hospital, north of downtown Tampa, then was rushed to the emergency room, where she later died, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Col. Donna Lusczynski said. The shooter, who also died, has been identified as Tedesco’s step-father, 70-year-old Steven Reynolds.

In March, a man and a woman were found dead after the man stormed a medical office building in downtown Fresno and shot the mother of his five children at close range. (more here)

In January, VA psychologist Timothy Fjordbak, was allegedly shot and killed by Jerry Serrato, on the fourth floor of an El Paso Veteran Affairs Clinic (read here).

In January, a California man, Vincent Heard, was arrested on suspicion of shooting a nurse inside a mental health urgent care facility. The nurse, a 24-year-old man whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital after he suffered a gunshot wound. (more here).

MEDIA MISLEADS

The media would lead you to believe that shootings at medical facilities happen only to abortion clinics, but this is misleading. While there have been 8 other people killed in the past 40 years at abortion clinics, there are numerous incidents at medical facilities across the nation that do not involve abortion.

According to a study in Annals of Emergency Medicine, in 2000-2011 the United States had 154 hospital-related shootings.

    91 (59%) inside the hospital and 63 (41%) outside on hospital grounds.
    235 injured or dead victims.
    The Emergency Department environs were the most common site (29%), followed by the parking lot (23%), and patient rooms (19%).
    Most events involved a determined shooter with a strong motive defined by a grudge (27%), suicide (21%), “euthanizing” an ill relative (14%), and prisoner escape (11%).
    Ambient society violence (9%) and mentally unstable patients (4%) were comparatively infrequent.
    The most common victim was the perpetrator (45%).
    Hospital employees composed of 20% of victims.
    -Physicians (3%) and nurses (5%) victims were relatively infrequent.
    In 23% of shootings with the Emergency Department, the weapon was a security officer’s gun that was taken by the perpetrator.

According to stats collected by the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, homicides involving shootings occurred at Dentist offices, Chiropractor, Outpatient Care Centers, Kidney Dialysis centers, hospital and surgical centers as well as psychological and mental health clinics.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), in 2013, healthcare workers reported an estimated 9,200 workplace violence incidents, with the majority of these perpetrated by patients or their family members. This represents 67% of all nonfatal violence-related injuries from an industry that only represents 11.5% of all workers.

A 2013 report released by the Federal Bureau of Investigations indicated an increasing trend in workplace active shooter incidents from an average of 6.4 incidents per year for the first 7 years of the study to an average of 16.4 per year in the last 7 years of the study. Some recent studies have indicated that the healthcare environment is not excluded from the increase in this particular type of violence. One recent study on hospital-based shootings reported an increase from 9 active shooter incidents per year during the 2000 to 2005 time period to almost 17 per year during the 2006 to 2011 time period.

Workplace homicide shootings

The Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI) conducted by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) provides an annual count of fatal work injuries in the United States, including homicides. From 2006 to 2010, an average of 551 workers per year were killed as a result of work-related homicides. In 2010 (the last year for which final data are available), CFOI reported a total of 518 workplace homicides, or 11 percent of all fatal work injuries that occurred that year. A total of 77 of those were multiple-fatality homicide incidents in which two or more workers were killed, including 69 homicides and 8 assailant suicides, all of whom were in work status at the time of the incident.

Shootings accounted for 78 percent of all workplace homicides in 2010 (405 fatal injuries). More than four-fifths (83 percent) of these workplace homicides from shootings occurred in the private sector, while only 17 percent of such shootings occurred in government.

While I strongly condemn any violence, I find the way the media reports on abortion clinic violence to be slanted in favor of the abortion agenda. Otherwise, every health clinic or medical facility shooting would be national news, and it is not. This, of course, does not mitigate any outrage nor condemnation of what Dear did whatever his motives end up being.

But, if you are to look honestly you can see that the national media sensationalizes violence at abortion or Planned Parenthood clinics while not reporting shootings at all other medical centers the same way. They censor the acts of violence against Christians, churches, and pro-life people. In addition, while the topic is Planned Parenthood, the media will resurrect the murder of late term abortion doctor George Tiller while continuing to censor the fact that women die from abortion including a Black women who was left bleeding INSIDE Planned Parenthood. For a look at that, just do a search on this site for Tonya Reaves.

Although speculations that Dear was motivated by recent Center for Medical Progress videos which documented how Planned Parenthood engaged in a baby parts harvesting operation, his neighbors in North Carolina say they never heard him discuss abortion or religion. According to reports, many considered him strange and even delusional, while some also assumed he might be dangerous and kept their kids indoors when they saw him. Others called Dear weird and said they kept an eye on him because he seemed paranoid, telling people that he was a government agent and knew important secrets as a result.

Whatever authorities or the media claim Dear’s motive is, one thing is for certain, he is not pro-life!

Congresswoman calls to defund Planned Parenthood which views unborn as revenue generator

Rep. Foxx took to the House floor today to call for the defunding of Planned Parenthood after a video surfaced showing they operate a seeding industry of aborted baby body parts marketing.

Only hours earlier, pro-lifers gathered outside the offices of House Speaker John Boehner to call for the abortion giant’s defunding.

Boehner has called for a Congressional Committee to investigate the charges that Planned Parenthood is dabbling in illegal activity.

The North Carolina Congresswoman was adamant that she wants Planned Parenthood defunded, calling the grisly Planned Parenthood operation “heartless” and sickening.”

“It is past time to end federal funding of this organization which views the life of the unborn as a revenue generator!” the female Representative concluded.

    In 2014 alone, Planned Parenthood was directly responsible for killing over 350,000 unborn babies in their clinics.

Her emotional speech, found here, was looked at thousands of times in this blog.

Also speaking out was Tennessee Republican Rep. Diane Black.

A statement posted to her Congressional website reads:

The fact that Planned Parenthood performs upwards of 327,000 abortions a year is heartbreaking and barbaric enough on its own. The news that its employees engaged in the harvesting of aborted babies’ body parts is almost too much to bear and is incredibly revealing as to the true nature of the big abortion industry,” said Congressman Diane Black. “Planned Parenthood’s disregard for innocent human life is even worse than we imagined. As a nurse for more than 40 years, I am passionately pro-life but this latest discovery has taken us beyond the pro-life versus pro-abortion debate. This is about basic decency and humanity. Anyone who can watch this video and continue to justify taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood is simply defending the indefensible. I support the calls for a Congressional investigation of Planned Parenthood, but that is not enough. Now that we are armed with further proof of this agency’s atrocities, Congress must act immediately to pass my legislation – The Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act – so that we can cut off its largest stream of federal funding without delay. I look forward to making the case to House leadership for this bill’s immediate consideration.”

The media likes to ignore female politicians who speak against their darling Planned Parenthood. They have all but ignored Rep. Roby – let’s see what they do about Rep. Black and Rep. Foxx.

Black Lives Matter display in North Carolina shocks students

Black students in North Carolina learn that abortion is killing their race with a provocative “Black Lives Matter” exhibit at a historical black college.

Rev. Johnny Hunter, a past co-host, on Life Talk TV, shared how he and several other African American pro-lifers brought the “Black Lives Matter” project to the campus of Fayetteville State College after participating in a similar event in Washington, D.C.

The project consists of provocative signs created by the Center for Bioethical Reform (CBR), a national pro-life organization.

According to Gregg Cunningham, executive director of CBR, “The exhibit was inspired by the tragic series of encounters between black suspects and white police officers in which the suspects lost their lives while being taken into custody.”

The Black Lives Matters slogan took on new life in Ferguson, Missouri and was recently the theme of protesters in Baltimore after another shooting occurred there.

The Fayetteville exhibit was sponsored by the Life Education and Resource Network (L.E.E.R.N.), the largest African American pro-life network in America, and the response was huge.

Rev. Hunter said the “Black Lives Matter” displays they exhibited also included a picture of an the aborted child.

The message each sign conveyed was that all black lives matter, born and unborn.

It was the most moving thing,” Dr. Johnny Hunter an exhibit organizer reported.

Hunter said the students stopped in their tracks when they saw the display.

In addition, the black students enthusiastically took copies of Maafa21, a documentary about the racist history of abortion produced by Life Dynamics, which features a powerful sermon of Rev. Hunter’s.

Another organizer, Rev. Clenard Childress, founder of Black Genocide.org, also spoke to Life Dynamics about the event and pointed out that Planned Parenthood’s racist founder, Margaret Sanger used religion i.e. “black pastors” to hide her eugenic plot.

“In our exchanges with hundreds of students, and with the golden opportunity to debate over the campus radio station, it was quite evident faith is still vital in the presentation of the truth in the pro-life debate. In the final analysis, we see that a very high percentage of the African American students consider their faith as important and that abortion is a violation of their faith. Hearts were won and opinions changed!” Rev Childress stated.

“After viewing the signs, many students sat down and read the pamphlets we were handing out.

“We passed out Mark Cruthcher’s MAAFA 21 to both students and staff. One teacher even played it while we were there in their sociology class,” he stated.

Rev. Hunter added that, “Even students that professed to be pro-choice had to do some thinking after the dialoguing went on.”

Hunter said that Planned Parenthood and their supporters tried to shut down the display but failed.

The most powerful part of all is when I looked at the sheet we had put out for students to sign up and almost thirty students had signed up to do something when this was over with,” he said.

Second state offers reparations to eugenic forced sterilization victims

On March 20, 1924 the Virginia General Assembly passed two racist laws “The Racial Integrity Act” and “The Sterilization Act

Virginia’s Racial Integrity Act was overseen by an avid eugenicist named Walter Ashby Plecker.

Plecker became a darling of the Eugenics movement and at one point he dined at the New York home of another famous eugenicist Harry H. Laughlin.

Laughlin was an official with both the American Eugenics Society and Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League

Laughlin was also an unabashed Nazi sympathizer.

In 1932, Plecker gave a keynote speech at the Third International Conference on Eugenics in New York.

Among those in attendance was Ernst Rudin of Germany and in 1933, Rudin’s call for racial purity was published in Sanger’s Birth Control Review.

Later, according to the documentary film, Maafa21, Rudin would be chosen by Hitler to write Germany’s eugenics laws and, at one point, he personally helped the Gestapo round-up and sterilize between 500 and 600 blacks who they referred to as “Rhineland bastards.” After the war, Rudin would be identified as one of the architects of the barbaric medical experiments that the Nazis carried out in their concentration camps.

When Hitler’s sterilizations were reported in the United States Plecker wrote a letter to the German Bureau of Human Betterment and Eugenics praising them for the action and expressing his hope that not one child had been missed.

Ten years earlier, Plecker had written that African-Americans were “the greatest problem and most destructive force which confronts the white race and American civilization.”

Virginia’s Racial Integrity Act played havoc on couples who wished to marry but were of different races. In June, 1958, two residents of Virginia, Mildred Jeter, a Black woman, and Richard Loving, a white man, were married in the District of Columbia pursuant to its laws. Shortly after their marriage, the Lovings returned to Virginia and established their marital abode in Caroline County. At the October Term, 1958, of the Circuit Court of Caroline County, a grand jury issued an indictment charging the Lovings with violating Virginia’s ban on interracial marriages.

On January 6, 199, the Lovings pleaded guilty to the charge, and were sentenced to one year in jail; however, the trial judge suspended the sentence for a period of 25 years on the condition that the Lovings leave the State and not return to Virginia together for 25 years.

Eugenical Sterilization Act

Between 1927 to 1979, Virginia sterilized about 8,000 people deemed unfit to reproduce for reasons such as mental illness, physical deformity or homelessness.

The Virginia Eugenical Sterilization Act declared that “heredity plays an important part in the transmission of insanity, idiocy, imbecility, epilepsy, and crime.”

The act was based on Harry Laughlin’s Model Law.

Laughlin was an official with both the American Eugenics Society and Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League and, in 1928, his plan for using forced sterilization to eliminate those who might produce what he called “degenerate offspring” was published in the Birth Control Review.

Just a few years prior, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Buck v. Bell, a case challenging Virginia’s eugenics sterilization law, a model law used by many other states to sterilize their people.

In deciding Carrie Buck’s fate, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, wrote, “Carrie Buck is a feeble minded white woman who was committed to the State Colony above mentioned in due form. She is the daughter of a feeble minded mother in the same institution, and the mother of an illegitimate feeble minded child. She was eighteen years old at the time of the trial of her case in the Circuit Court, in the latter part of 1924. An Act of Virginia, approved March 20, 1924, recites that the health of the patient and the welfare of society may be promoted in certain cases by the sterilization of mental defectives, under careful safeguard, that the sterilization may be effected in males by vasectomy and in females by salpingectomy, without serious pain or substantial danger to life; that the Commonwealth is supporting in various institutions many defective persons who, if now discharged, would become a menace, but, if incapable of procreating, might be discharged with safety and become self-supporting with benefit to themselves and to society, and that experience has shown that heredity plays an important part in the transmission of insanity, imbecility…The statute then enacts that, whenever the superintendent of certain institutions, including the above-named State Colony, shall be of opinion that it is for the best interests of the patients and of society that an inmate under his care should be sexually sterilized, he may have the operation performed upon any patient afflicted with hereditary forms of insanity, imbecility…on complying with the very careful provisions by which the act protects the patients from possible abuse.”

“The judgment finds the facts that have been recited, and that Carrie Buck “is the probable potential parent of socially inadequate offspring, likewise afflicted, that she may be sexually sterilized without detriment to her general health, and that her welfare and that of society will be promoted by her sterilization,” and thereupon makes the order.”

Holmes went on to state, “It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime, or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind … Three generations of imbeciles are enough.”

According to the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library, it is likely that Carrie’s mother, Emma Buck, was committed to a state institution because she was considered sexually promiscuous, that the same diagnosis was made about Carrie when she became an unwed mother at the age of 17 due to being raped, and that her daughter Vivian was diagnosed as “not quite normal” at the age of six months largely in support of the legal effort to sterilize Carrie.

The law was eventually overturned and in 2002, Virginia’s Governor apologized to the victims.

Now, the state of Virginia has decided to compensate the victims of forced sterilization and the General Assembly has set up a fund which should give $25,000 to each victim.

The appropriation makes Virginia the second state to take such action following North Carolina.

Planned Parenthood PSA fails to mention eugenics ties

A video highlighting a North Carolina Planned Parenthood founder fails to mention that she founded the center with help from a man connected to eugenics.

It begins, “Planned Parenthood Health Systems of Charlotte began in 1969 when Sarah Bryant saw an unmet need.”

Now an old woman, Ms. Bryant says that she started the Planned Parenthood center at the urging of well known eugenicist Wallace Kuralt and other business leaders. “then Mr. Art Jones who was a banker and Mr. Wallace Kuralt who was the chairman, head of the county health commission, urged me to start Planned Parenthood. They had been involved and had known about Margaret Sanger when they were in [ Oberlin] college. So, that was the beginning.”

Planned Parenthood was founded on eugenics. Their founder , Margaret Sanger, was a member of the American Eugenics Society and she placed other like-minded believers on her board. This has been well documented by this blog on several occasions.

Ms. Bryant concludes the recently uploaded Planned Parenthood PSA by admitting that their agenda has not changed, “The face may change but the mission is the same…. ,” she states.

Bryant was the wife of the late funeral director Bob Bryant, and in the early 1960’s she asked many of Charlotte’s most powerful bankers, lawyers, ministers, doctors, teachers and community servants to join her on a Planned Parenthood board.

In 1971, two years before abortions were legalized, the agency opened its first health Planned Parenthood center on Morehead Street.

It began after Wallace Kuralt and banker Art Jones approached Bryant to start the Planned Parenthood health center, “We were like a Third World country in that area at the time,” she once stated.

An ardent proponent of population control, in 1969 Jones predicted that, “Unless something is done, the human race is threatened with extinction within 200 years.” His ultimate solution was: abortion calling it a “very necessary medical tool for population restraint.

Jones was responsible for North Carolina’s passage of a liberal abortion law in 1967 and blamed the “overpopulation” problem on a growing number of social ills: poverty, ghettos, crime, and mental illness.

Much of the idea for Jone’s abortion bill came from Wallace Kuralt, according to author David Gurrow.

Kuralt proposed that the abortion law’s focus be on the “health of the mother.” Kuralt and a welfare department attorney, Myles Hanes, wrote out a first draft of the abortion reform bill and presented it to Senator Herman Moore who mentioned it to Jones.

Just who was Wallace Kuralt?

Wallace Kuralt father to Charles Kuralt , who anchored CBS Sunday Morning , was a MONSTER – he was rooted in eugenics and not surprisingly in 1983 Planned Parenthood of Greater Charlotte gave him the Margaret Sanger Award – according to a Charlotte Observer Obituary from 1994.

The Charlotte Observer described Wallace Kuralt this way, “as architect of Mecklenburg’s program of eugenic sterilization – state-ordered surgery to stop the poor and disabled from bearing children – Kuralt helped write one of the most shameful chapters of North Carolina history.”

When we stop to reflect upon the thousands of physical, mental and social misfits in our midst,” the Observer quotes Kuralt from a 1964 article, “the thousands of families which are too large for the family to support, the one-tenth of our children born to an unmarried mother, the hoard of children rejected by parents, is there any doubt that health, welfare and education agencies need to redouble their efforts to prevent these conditions which are so costly to society?

The Eugenics Details:

A 1965 article published by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette says that Wallace Kuralt had been involved in a birth control program which saved the tax payers thousands of dollars. There it is plain and simple- that excuse for eugenics that – limiting births saves the taxpayer money.

“We have been just as concerned,” Wallace Kuralt observed,”to see that couples who could not have children were directed to the proper medical sources for help as we were to see that families who should not have more children were directed to the proper sources of information,” Kuralt told the Milwaukee Sentinel in 1965.

So, exactly who are the people who should not have more children? Well, research unearthed recently has revealed that most of them were Black women. In fact, North Carolina is one of the few states which has publicly apologized for the state wide Eugenics program which sterilized thousands of blacks. North Carolina has even made their eugenics documents available to the public and has since offered reparations to the victims of sterilization.

Entitled: Wallace Kuralt’s era of sterilization, the Charlotte Observer detailed the acts of monstrosity by this Planned Parenthood Award Winner and true to form- they failed to mention the award !

As the New York Times describes Kuralt’s eugenics connections, “wealthy businessmen, among them James Hanes, the hosiery magnate, and Dr. Clarence Gamble, heir to the Procter & Gamble fortune, drove the eugenics movement. They helped form the Human Betterment League of North Carolina in 1947, and found a sympathetic bureaucrat in Wallace Kuralt, the father of the television journalist Charles Kuralt.

“A proponent of birth control in all forms, Mr. Kuralt used the program extensively when he was director of the Mecklenburg County welfare department from 1945 to 1972. That county had more sterilizations than any other in the state.

“Over all, about 70 percent of the North Carolina operations took place after 1945, and many of them were on poor young women and racial minorities. Nonwhite minorities made up about 40 percent of those sterilized, and girls and women about 85 percent.

“The program, while not specifically devised to target racial minorities, affected black Americans disproportionately because they were more often poor and uneducated and from large rural families.”

Another interesting connection is that the doctor who worked with Kuiralt also had Planned Parenthood ties.

According to the Charlotte Observer, many of the women sterilized in the late 1950s were seen by the Health Department’s Dr. Elizabeth Corkey, an obstetrician.

It is noteworthy to point out that Corkey joined in a lawsuit to overturn North Carolina’s abortion ban in 1970.

Dr. Corkey died Thursday, August 24, 1995, but according to the obituary in the Charlotte Observer, she helped start the Charlotte chapter of Planned Parenthood. Corkey’s connection to the abortion giant is documented on the Planned Parenthood website – here. And in this 1964 article she is a speaker at a Planned Parenthood conference.

Kuralt and Corkey sent dozens of sterilization cases to the Eugenics Board for approval.

According to the Charlotte Observer, in 1960, just under 25 percent of Mecklenburg residents were African-American.

But blacks made up more than 80 percent of the people ordered sterilized at the request of the Welfare Department between 1955 and 1966. In 1957, the peak year for Mecklenburg, the state approved sterilizations of 52 blacks and five whites.

Condom fashion show raises money to “expand services” for Planned Parenthood

There are basically three things that Planned Parenthood focuses on: Sex, Abortion, Money and when they get a chance to combine all of those things- well that is a great day for the abortion giant.

Recently, the Ashville Planned Parenthood held a condom fashion show they titled, Condom Culture, to raise money for a permanent location where they plan to offer “reproductive services.”

Of course, sponsors included condom companies such as, Proper Attire, Trojan, Pleasure Plus, and Crown.

Models on the runway wore designer condom outfits which had to include at least 1000 condoms.

Asheville, Planned Parenthood’s interim CEO Bonnie Smith who wore a condom flower in her hair told the crowd, “After 35 years in Asheville, we have leased and we have rented, and we have moved from one facility to the other. Now, we will have the permanence and stability that comes from owning a health center.”

She said the money would go toward their “expansion of services” and finding a new home.

According to the Catholic News Herald, Planned Parenthood’s application to open the new Asheville Health Center remains under review by the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), pending an inspection of the new facility by state regulators.

Planned Parenthood plans to renovate the building which was believed to be the site of the now closed FemCare abortion clinic, but has been identified as 16 McDowell in Asheville, for $2.6 million.

In its application for an abortion clinic license, Planned Parenthood told state health officials that it estimates performing 500 abortions per year there.

Medical director of Planned Parenthood Health Services Dr. Donna Burkett came short of saying they would be expanding into abortion by describing the move as an expansion of services.

Planned Parenthood re-electing Kay Hagan is number one priority for Abortion giant

Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood which is the largest abortion clinic chain in America, claims their Action Fund’s most important political race is re-electing Kay Hagan of North Carolina.

The Planned Parenthood prez called the Kay Hagan race their “number one priority.”
