UPDATE NOV 2013: A New York-based staffer for the Planned Parenthood abortion business who pleaded guilty to stealing more than $100,000 from the abortion giant via forged checks is now headed to prison.
The Erie County District Attorney’s Office prosecuted Melissa Kwoka, who admitted to forging checks from Planned Parenthood of Western New York to herself and her husband. The DA’s Office says Kwoka has three previous convictions for theft offenses and pleaded guilty to stealing $102,7333 between August 2012 and March 2013.
She pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny in connection to this case and was facing a maximum prison term of five to 15 years behind bars when sentenced in November. According to the Buffalo News, “Now she heads to the Erie County Correctional Facility to serve a six-month jail term that Michalski imposed Thursday for second-degree grand larceny in the Planned Parenthood theft.”
