Tune in during the during the 5-6 Eastern time hour, you will be able to hear the HAUNTING interview of Jessica D., who’s 23 week abortion went VERY WRONG.

BACK STORY

In 2013, this blogger posted this story: Ambulance removes woman from Michigan abortion clinic, detailing an ambulance being summoned to the Summit Medical Services abortion clinic in Detroit, where Reginald Sharpe worked at the time.

At the time of that Blog post, Sharpe had been sued at least five times.

The patient, who was injured from the abortion Sharpe performed on her, stumbled onto the Saynsumthn’s blog post.

While there she saw a series of comments from a a woman who claimed she took a patient to the clinic and another who claimed she caught VD because of unsanitary equipment:

Saynsumth Blog Comments Sharpe

Although the woman did not leave a comment herself, she responded to the e-mail address of a local pro-lifer who put her in touch with local pro-life investigator Lynn Mills.

Lynn Mills 162752_000_GI89G63UR.1-0

Mills told Saynsumthn, that because she stumbled onto this blog- she is now willing to testify before the state about the treatment she received while under Sharpe’s care for an abortion at Women’s Center of Southfield.

According to Mills, the abortionist perforated the woman’s uterus after she went to him for a 23 week and five day abortion. Mills said after the botched procedure, the woman was removed from the abortion clinic out the back door by ambulance. Mills has a recording of the 911 call placed at the time the ambulance was called, which she hopes state investigators will listen to in deciding whether to allow the clinic to continue operating.

WOmanCare 911

Mills sent Saynsumthn a transcript of the February 28, 2014 911 call were abortionists Reginald Sharpe tells the dispatcher they need to come right away because, “she has a hole and she’s bleeding.

Unidentified female caller: He’s like, hold for one moment. I’m like what are you talking about?

Receiver: Southfield 911.

Unidentified female caller: I’m calling from WomanCare of Southfield. We have a patient here who needs emergency assistance to the hospital. We were doing a termination of pregnancy and there’s possible complication.

Receiver: Ok, female, how old?

Unidentified female caller: Hello?

Receiver: Ya, how old? How old?

Unidentified female caller: She is 29 years old; she’s a female.

Receiver: 29 (typing termination)

Unidentified female caller: She needs to go to the hospital like as soon as possible. Immediately.

Receiver: Termination. Ok. Of.

Abortionist Reginald Sharpe: This is Dr. Sharpe, how are you doing?

Receiver: Good. We’re going to get the paramedics coming that way. I’m just asking the questions and we’ll get them coming to 28505 Southfield, ok?

Abortionist Reginald Sharpe: We need them right now, she has a hole and she’s bleeding.

Receiver: Ok, gotcha. We’ll get them coming.

Abortionist Reginald Sharpe: Ok, about how long do you think?

Receiver: As soon as I hang up on with you will get them coming that way, Doctor. Bye-bye.

Abortionist Reginald Sharpe: Alright.

According to Mills, the woman had to be hospitalized for several days as a result of her abortion.

Mills said the state Attorney General has since ordered the closure of Sharpe’s Woman’s Center of Southfield pending the outcome of an investigation.

Abortion records found in unsecured building could put patient’s privacy at risk

Pro-lifers in Michigan say that an abortionist may have improperly stored thousands of records from former abortion patients in an unsecured building in Michigan.

FemCare Medical Records 19739645539_o

According to Michigan State Law [statutes 333.16213 and 333.20175] which govern the proper retention of medical records: “Records shall be maintained in such a manner to ensure their confidentiality and proper use and to ensure their accessibility and availability to each patient or his or her authorized representative.

Michigan Public Health Code 333.13811 also governs the proper disposal of medical waste including medical sharps.

Lynn Mills 162752_000_GI89G63UR.1-0

According to local pro-life activist, Lynn Mills, who went to the site after receiving an anonymous tip, the records were housed at the now closed, Feminine Health Center, owned by retired Michigan abortionist Abraham Alberto Hodari.

Mills said that she visited the old abortion facility to check out the informant’s information, concerned that patient records were left exposed.

She described the site as having a chain link fencing that had been cut with several gaping holes in the walls of the building.

In addition, Mills said that she also discovered that the building was unlocked an unsecured, which would mean that anyone could enter the premises and violate the privacy of the clinic’s former abortion patients.

Hodari once owned five different abortion clinics in Michigan, the Woman Care clinics located in Southfield, Lansing, Livonia, Downriver and Macomb. Several boxes, completely visible through the door, were marked on the outside that indicated that the records came from these Hodari abortion clinic locations such as an abbreviation SFLD, meaning Southfield.

According to a press release sent by the Citizens for a Pro-life Society (CFPLS), when Mills checked the door and found it unlocked she immediately saw stacks upon stacks of boxes that appeared to contain files of Hodari’s patients, many marked with the words “charts” and “records.”

Mills, concerned that the privacy rights of women were seriously at risk, returned to the unkempt and dilapidated building later on March 15th with Monica Migliorino Miller, director of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society to investigate further and document evidence to take to the Flint police.

Together the two discovered that a large gaping hole was cut into the garage door in the back of the building large enough for a grown man to easily gain entry to the facility. In addition to the unlocked side door, the huge hole in the garage door, the former clinic may also be entered through a hole on the right side of the building.

Monica Miller, director of (CFPLS) said in her release that manila folders are visible though small slots in the boxes and appear to be stored alphabetically as many boxes recorded a beginning and ending last name.

In addition to the stacks of medical record boxes, the building contains other boxes of medical records vulnerable to accessibility as well as several loose piles of medical records, including literally hundreds of records that are haphazardly strewn all over the floor of the open building mixed with trash and debris.

Not only does the open building contain sensitive medical documents, but Mills said that they also found two large piles of syringes with sharps are also in the building which may be a violation of Michigan State Law regarding the proper disposal of medical waste.

Sharpes and needles abandoned abortionn clinic

This isn’t the first time medical records and patient files have been found, but it should be the last,” Mills told Saynsumthn, “Patients have the expectation of privacy when they go to any doctor, even an abortion doctor. Where is the government oversight on this and why are their laws not being enforced? The number one responsibility of the government is the protection of its citizens. These woman were victimized in their abortion and again now because of this careless record keeping.”

In 2008 members of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society discovered the remains of aborted babies in Hodari’s Lathrup Village, Michigan Woman Care clinic, as well as over 200 intact patient records and biohazard waste that prompted a formal investigation by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality that cited him for violating Michigan law and charges filed against him by the Oakland County prosecutor for improper maintenance of patient records to which he pled “no-contest” and was placed on a six months probation.

Late last year, hundreds of abortion clinic medical records were discovered unsecured at a warehouse in Houston, Texas.

The sensitive medical records were found by the warhouse owner after her dog entered the property, tore up several files, and dragged them outside.

Houston abortion clinic records 2

Houston abortion clinic records

Esmeralda Cedillo, who found the records in her warehouse, said that the records contained sensitive information such as abortion details and Social Security numbers.

She told local news outlets who cared enough to report the story that the records were left in the warehouse by a now-estranged relative who works at an abortion clinic.

It was later discovered that the medical files belonged to patients at the now closed abortion clinic which operated under the names, a”Cunningham Clinic, KNS Clinic, and Women’s Clinic,” located at 2600 Southwest Freeway #1010 and 5555 West Loop South Suite 200, in Houston.

Cedillo was later rewarded for exposing the way they were haphazardly stored.

Unfortunately, Mills and Miller say they have not seen the same concern from media or authorities they contacted.

They claim that in addition to notifying local police, they have reached out to an attorney with the Genesee County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to discuss possible criminal violations. But, to date, the two have been unsuccessful in getting any public official to investigate this.

Mills told Saynsumthn that she went forward with the information for two reasons, one was to warn former abortion clinic patients that their privacy may be at risk and two was to get the public to insist that the records, many which have now been mysteriously removed, are now stored in a proper manner.

Mills and Miller say they now plan to take their evidence to the Michigan Attorney General.

A woman who will be testifying at a press conference outside a Michigan abortion clinic got her courage to come forward after reading this blog.

Pro-lifers will call for a permanent end to a Lathrup Village abortion clinic when they gather in front of the Women’s Center of Southfield on Tuesday. The clinic is owned by abortionist Jacob Kalo and abortions are performed by abortionist Reginald Sharpe.

Mills said the state Attorney General has since ordered the closure of Sharpe’s Woman’s Center of Southfield pending the outcome of an investigation.

The closure order took place November 21, 2014, and this has been confirmed by a suspension notice on the state’s website:

However, despite this, calls made to the clinic have confirmed they are open and scheduling abortions.

Mills told Saynsumthn Blog that the Women’s Center of Southfield has failed no less than five inspections within the past ten months and she sent Saynsumth a list of some of the violations:

I kept writing the state asking how many times do they get to fail?” Mills said.

Mills said a hearing is expected in March.

Suspended abortion docs dukes it out with pro-lifers outside hearing room

An abortion doc whose license was just suspended after the state health department found abysmal conditions at his Michigan abortion clinic went head to head with pro-life leaders outside the hearing room.

Robert Alexander abortion doc 2014

According to a report by Operation Rescue, Abortionist Robert Alexander appeared before the Michigan Board of Medicine this week for a final hearing on charges of gross negligence and incompetence after he was caught operating a squalid abortion facility in Muskegon that rivaled conditions found at Kermit Gosnell’s Philadelphia “House of Horror.”

Despite the fact that an administrative judge found that Alexander, who suffers from mental illness, was not fit to practice medicine and recommended his permanent license revocation, the Board voted to suspend Alexander’s license for 6 months and 1 day. They also told Alexander that he would have to re-apply to have his license reinstated, at which time he would be required to pay a fine of $75,000.

If Alexander does not reapply for licensing, his license would not be automatically renewed after his suspension and he would continue to be barred from practicing in Michigan. ( read more here)

Outside the hearing room, the abortion doctor accused pro-lifers of using inside connections to close his clinics down. Pro-life leaders had an angry response, “May I remind you that it was the Fire Marshall that shut the building down,” one of them stated, “It had nothing to do with the Board of Medicine or the State investigators.”

Alexander confronts prolife leaders

When asked about the accusations by former patients that he had botched abortions he responded, “Botched abortions is when they are done wrong. Every patient is handled with care. Every patient is handled with delicate gloves, “ Alexander told a WoodTV8 reporter.

To avoid further questions by the news media, Alexander said, “Let me go, okay? I gotta go, I got to go to see some patients right...”

He was then asked by eh reporter, “How can you see patients, you don’t have a license?

The conversation which clearly shows how confused this abortion doctor is has been uploaded in full by WoodTV8:

Here the abortionist blames the death of his wife who died this year on harassment by pro-lifers but then he later calls the people from Right to Life, “good people.”

He also elaborates on why he can still practice telling the reporter that the revocation of suspension order isn’t in effect yet.

The pro-lifers then respond to his accusations that they placed someone inside his office to get him closed down.

Abby Johnson CLinic Alexander article

That accusation is based on an article published by Life News in 2012.

Lynn Mills Robert Alexander Hearing 2014

Pro-life activist Lynn Mills explains that one of Alexander’s staffers wanted out of the abortion business so she contacted Abby Johnson’s group. Mills says that Johnson put the former clinic worker in touch with Operation Rescue who asked her if she wanted to file a complaint against the clinic.

It is no secret for officials to use former employees to gather inside information or complaints about people doing illegal or unprofessional activities which cause harm to the public. Alexander just needs to face the facts, he did this to himself and there is no one else to blame.

Allegation against Michigan abortionist leads to fine and reprimand

H/T 40 Days for Life Lansing and Lynn Mills:
Theodore_Roumell-e1372111702184

Abortionist Theodore Roumell has been doing abortions at the now closed Feminine Health Care abortion clinic after Alberto Hodari retired. The Flint abortion clinic was in non-compliance with the State of Michigan. Both the medical waste and free-standing surgical license had expired, and following open formal complaints against the clinic, the abortion mill is no longer open, says pro-lifer Lynn Mills.

Mills told a local radio station that she discovered a law about controlled substances and then filed a complaint with the Attorney General against abortionist Roumell and she predicts three more abortion clinics will close because of this complaint.

Roumell owns the WomanCare abortion clinics.

Now the allegation Mills filed against abortionist Theodore Roumell has resulted in both a fine and reprimand of Roumell’s Pharmacy/Drug Control license as of April 9.

COMPLAINT:

On April 9, 2014 the MICHIGAN BOARD OF PHARMACY DISCIPLINARY SUBCOMMITTEE filed a Consent Order and Stipulation which led to the action.

As a result the abortionists license is restricted. His California license appears to be unaffected by the Michigan action- however- it is possible that California has not been notified as of yet.

Theodore Roumell

In a separate allegation filed by 40 days for Life Lansing, they claim that Roumell and his clinic are “cited for failure to offer an ultrasound viewing to an abortion client who told us that she wanted to see her baby but wasn’t given that chance. Michigan Law requires providers to offer a live viewing or photo of the baby in the womb. That allegation is still under administrative review with the Bureau of Health Care Services.”

Abortion doctor facing new state charges

RobertAlexanderDr. Robert Alexander, whose Muskegon abortion clinic was shut down for alleged unsafe and unsanitary conditions, took a job last year running a taxpayer-funded STD clinic in Detroit.

Target8 Tease:

Target 8 confronted him outside the Detroit office last week. He resigned the next day, effective immediately, clinic officials said.

Alexander is facing new state charges of incompetence and negligence over conditions of the Muskegon clinic. He refused to comment last week. He covered his face with his coat, shut his car door and drove away.

Robert Alexander 2014 compplaint

Target 8 found him working as a physician treating patients at the Detroit Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic on Woodward Avenue. It is operated by the non-profit, but publicly funded Institute for Population Health that now acts as the city’s public health department.

Alexander’s former office manager, who said she worked for him three years, said she wants to know how he got a job.

She also said she wonders why the state Attorney General, which filed the latest charges of incompetence and negligence, hasn’t interviewed her. She said it was her complaint to Michigan Right to Life that led to those allegations. She is identified in state records as his office manager.

She told Target 8 about alleged botched abortions, re-used needles, unsanitary conditions, an ultrasound machine that didn’t work.

“I don’t know how he still has a job,” she said. “I don’t know how he still has a job. I don’t. I don’t know how any one would hire him because it’s hard enough for me to get a job and I just worked for him.

MuskegonNews8

Alexander, 59, had faced earlier allegations of botched abortions in Muskegon that put women’s lives at risk, but those were dismissed by the state Board of Medicine without investigation.

A Target 8 investigation last year revealed the chairman of that board, Dr. George Shade, who ordered the complaints dismissed, once worked as Alexander’s mentor after Alexander got out of prison for selling illegal prescriptions.

The Target 8 investigation led the Michigan Senate to pass legislation that requires three board members to review allegations against doctors and requires board members to disclose conflicts of interest.

Target 8′s findings, Schuitmaker said, also raise questions about the state’s latest investigation into Alexander.

The state Attorney General’s Office in November filed charges of incompetence and negligence against Alexander over conditions at the Women’s Medical Services clinic he ran at 863 E. Apple Ave. in Muskegon.

His longtime office manager, who said she worked at the Muskegon clinic for three years, said nobody from the state has interviewed her.

If the state AG called her, she said, she would have a lot to say.

The woman, who didn’t want to be identified, said she worked for Alexander until his office was shut down in December 2012. Alexander performed an abortion on her several years before she started working for him, she said. She said she contacted Right to Life of Michigan in June 2012 — six months before the closing — after finding Alexander at a sink filled with used needles.

“He was cleaning them and he was getting ready to re-use them on women, to give them medication,” she told Target 8.

She said she saw him use one of those needles on a patient.

In recent years, the clinic was open only on Saturdays, with Alexander performing nine to 15 abortions on a typical day, the woman told Target 8. He charged less than others — about $377 plus $150 for medication, she said.

The clinic, she said, was often unsanitary, with blood on walls and equipment.

“That’s typical. As soon as he was done with a procedure, he would have it on his hands, he would touch the walls, he would walk all over.”

Records show the woman worked as Alexander’s nurse, even though she was never licensed as a nurse.

She acknowledged performing nursing duties, including giving shots, despite not having a license.

The woman said the clinic’s ultrasound equipment stopped working about 1.5 years before the office closed, leaving Alexander guessing how far along his patients were.

“So he would just do a vaginal exam, and you know, guess that way,” she said.

The woman said she also witnessed botched abortions.

“There were quite a few that had to go in and get a D&C (dilation and curettage), some of them had to be hospitalized, a couple of them had to get a complete hysterectomy,” she said.

In the latest AG complaint accusing him of incompetence and negligence, Alexander blamed his office manager, identifying her by name.

He said the woman “told him she was a licensed practical nurse but he failed to verify her credentials,” records show. He also said it was her job to clean the office.

The woman denied misrepresenting herself as a nurse and said cleaning was not her job.

State LARA and AG officials refused to comment because of the pending case against Alexander.

It was a break-in at the Muskegon clinic, still unsolved, that led police there in December 2012.

Inside, the city found blood on the floor and walls, uncovered buckets of unidentified fluids in the operating room area, blood dripping from a sink p-trap in a patient room, biohazard bags on the floor and closets, unsecured containers of used hypodermic needles, unsecured medication and patient records scattered around the office, according to records.

muskegon_abortion_clinic_code_violations_010713_20130107204359_320_240

By that time, Alexander already was working at Detroit’s Institute of Population Health (IHP) as a subcontractor — a job he started in October 2012, IHP officials told Target 8.

BACKSTORY:

According to the WatchdogWire Blog Alexander was brought to the attention of authorities by pro-life activist Lynn Mills.

The blogger writes, ” I saw that one of my Michigan Facebook friends, Lynn Mills, had posted an article about a Michigan abortionist who had a tax lien placed on his home. I wondered if it was Dr. Alexander’s home, but it turned out to be a different abortionist.

Lynn and I exchanged emails, and she wrote that we would connect the next day regarding Dr. Alexander. It turned out she had some very important information about him.

Lynn told me that Dr. Alexander still works at the Herman Kiefer Clinic in Detroit. I wondered how that could be true as Senator Jones’s office had informed me that nobody knew of Dr. Alexander’s whereabouts.

Lynn gave me the telephone number of the Detroit Department of Public Health and Wellness Promotion, which is (313) 876-4176. I called the number and told the person on the other line that I was looking for Dr. Robert Alexander and wondered if he was still working for the Department.

She informed me that yes, indeed he does still work for the Department. She told me that Dr. Alexander works for the Herman Kiefer Clinic, and she gave me the phone number of the clinic’s Department of Health and Wellness Promotion, which is (313) 324-9612.

“Deidre” at the Herman Kiefer Clinic answered my call at 2:32 pm on Thursday, August 15. I told her that I was looking for Dr. Robert Alexander, and she confirmed for me that he was still seeing patients at the clinic. She also confirmed that he works with Sexually Transmitted Disease patients.

After I hung up, I started shaking physically. This news took a while for me to process. My heart was racing, and I could not believe that Dr. Alexander is still working within the Herman Kiefer Clinic and that my news tip from Lynn Mills (Lynn is a rockstar!) helped me confirm all of this. I could not have done this without her help.

Below ( SEE THE BLOG) are several pictures taken over the weekend by Chris McCoy of the Franklin Center, who was in the area where the Herman Kiefer Clinic is located (Thanks Chris!). Click on the images to enlarge them.

According to the organization Free Medical Research, the clinic is federally funded. However, Watchdog Wire cannot independently confirm the clinic’s revenue sources. What can be confirmed, however, is that taxpayers in the State of Michigan are helping to pay this doctor’s salary to examine patients for sexually transmitted diseases.

My last article published on July 24 indicated that no one knew of the whereabouts of Dr. Robert Alexander. Senate Judiciary Chair Rick Jones’s office told me that the media had visited the Herman Kiefer Clinic, and they were unable to obtain confirmation that Dr. Alexander was still working there.

I do not place any blame on Senator Jones for believing the media, but perhaps he will pay more attention to citizen journalism in the future. Senator Jones’s office issued an official statement on this issue (shown below), and I anticipate the new legislation will be passed in the Fall. I hope to be present in the room the day Dr. Alexander’s license is officially terminated.

Citizen journalism is making a big difference in getting to the truth. Let’s say a reporter enters a medical facility with a television camera looking for a staff member. I doubt they will get the information they are seeking. Citizen journalists may be sneaky at times, but we break no laws and we fly under the radar very well.

BOOM. Dr. Alexander was right under our noses all this time. The more I delve into citizen journalism, the more I realize how vital it has become. A media team could not get the truth regarding Dr. Alexander. But when an activist and a citizen journalist worked together, we got to the truth.

At the Woman’s Choice Clinic in Lansing, Dr. Ronald Nichols was in the middle of performing an abortion when he determined the gestational age to be 20 weeks and stopped the procedure, despite already having rupturing the fetal membranes. (In the Matter of Ronald A. Nichols, M.D., File No. 43-08-109430. Complaint, Paragraph 13.)

Dr. Nichols advised the patient, who was bleeding and in pain, to drive 80 miles to his Bloomfield Hills abortion clinic to complete procedure. When she refused, Nichols forced her to sign a waiver. Patient drove home and was taken by her family to the hospital where the staff confirmed the rupture of fetal membranes. The patient’s 20.5 week baby died in utero the following day. The Board of Medicine found Nichols to be negligent and incompetent, fined him $10,000, and ordered him to perform 100 hours of community service. At the Womancare Clinic of Southfield, a patient alleges that she received no local anesthesia and tried to stop procedure due to her extreme pain. The patient was allegedly held down and female assistant put hand over the patient’s mouth. (Allegation filed with the Bureau of Health Professions, August 18, 2008, File No. 43-08-109481. On October 22, 2010 The Michigan Attorney General, and the Eaton and Saginaw County Sheriff Departments completed a 7 month-long investigation of the Womans Choice abortion clinics located at 6500 Centurion Drive, Ste. 290, Lansing and 3141 S. Cabaret Trail, Ste 400, Saginaw, Michigan—owned by Florida resident Richard Remund.

The investigation was prompted by the February 26, 2010 discovery by pro-lifer Chris Veneklase, of the bodies of 17 aborted babies in a trash dumpster used by the Womans Choice Lansing abortion clinic. The 17 bags were clearly marked with, not only the January dates of the abortion procedures, but also the full names of the women whose unborn children were contained within the plastic specimen packs. Before making a decision to search the dumpster, Veneklase observed clinic staff, over a series of weeks, tossing large black bags into the commercial grade trash container that services the business park where Womans Choice is located. Veneklase became suspicious that the clinic was getting rid of bio-hazardous material. A bio-waste disposal van was never seen serving the facility where abortions are conducted through the 24th week of gestation.

Upon finding the bodies of aborted babies Veneklase immediately contacted Monica Migliorino Miller, director of Citizens for a Pro-life Society who then joined Veneklase in subsequent searches of the Womans Choice dumpster. Miller also organized searches of the dumpster used by Womans Choice sister clinic in Saginaw, MI. These searches continued through March 2010.

Veneklase and Miller discovered bloody surgical material in the clinic trash bags as well as several patient records from both abortion facilities. Many documents bore the names of Drs. Lewis Twigg and Ronald Nichols—who conduct the abortions at Womans Choice clinics. View Images here
