Planned Parenthood remembers Holocaust, ignores founder’s own eugenic views

Holocaust, remember, Planned Parenthood

This weekend as we remembered the horrific human cost suffered under the Nazi Holocaust, the hashtags #NeverAgain and #HolocaustMemorialDay were trending on Twitter. It is estimated that at least six million Jews (and millions of others) were slaughtered during the Holocaust. One post from Planned Parenthood drew some interesting comments, including this one, pictured below:

Hitler’s ‘bible’ and Margaret Sanger’s connection

Planned Parenthood may claim to remember the Holocaust and mourn bigotry, but the organization’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member of the American Eugenics Society (AES) — headed by Madison Grant, whose book, The Passing of the Great Race, was revered by Adolf Hitler himself. According to the eugenics archive, Grant’s book “argued for the preservation of America as a ‘civilization preserve’ for the Nordic race, advocating for immigration only from the founding stock of Anglo-Saxons and other Nordics from north-western Europe…. After becoming Führer, Hitler wrote to Grant; thanking him for his momentous work, stating that the book was ‘his Bible.’” (emphasis added)

The AES was founded in 1926 by Harry Crampton, Harry H. Laughlin, Madison Grant, and Henry Fairfield Osborn “with the express purpose of spearheading the eugenical movement,” according to the American Philosophical Society. The Nazi means of procuring the “perfect race” included eugenic sterilization, which many believe were inspired by American eugenicists. Historian Stefan Kuhl details in his book, The Nazi Connection, that “Hitler’s personal correspondence with American eugenicists reveals both the influence that American eugenicists had on the highest figures of the Nazi regime and the crucial importance that National Socialists placed on garnering support for their policies on foreign scientists.”

The documentary film Maafa21 even notes the possibility that Hitler got the idea for concentration camps while studying the American eugenics movement:

In 1919, the state of Indiana had allocated $300,000 to create a work colony in the city of Butlerville where those who were labeled feebleminded would be incarcerated. Then, in 1932, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger called for the U.S. government to set aside farms and “open spaces” where certain groups of people would be segregated from the rest of society.

Margaret Sanger associated with men who praised (and inspired) Hitler

Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger herself spoke to members of the Ku Klux Klan and promoted eugenics and forced sterilizations. Although there is no indication that Sanger directly supported Hitler, she did not discriminate against those who did.

Leon Whitney – published by Sanger, praised by Hitler for his book on sterilization

Sanger published writings by Leon F. Whitney, former executive secretary of the American Eugenics Society, in her Birth Control Review. In 1934, Adolf Hitler sent a letter to Whitney complimenting him for a book he authored on sterilization — and Whitney praised Hitler as “one of the greatest statesmen and social planners in the world.”

Eugen Fischer – worked with Sanger at World Population Conference

And in 1927, Nazi sympathizer Eugen Fischer worked with Sanger on her World Population Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. According to a library of eugenics records at Cold Spring Harbor, Hitler read Eugen Fischer’s textbook Principles of Human Heredity and Race Hygiene, and used “eugenical notions to support the ideal of a pure Aryan society in his manifesto, Mein Kampf.” Fischer served on committees that planned the sterilization of Afro-German Blacks and was in charge of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute where racist Nazi programs were developed. In an August 28,1935 New York Times article, Fischer praised Hitler, asking the World Population Congress at that time to “Hail Fuehrer and Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler.”

According to the DNA Learning Center at Cold Spring Harbor, the Rockefeller Foundation, which has long been funding eugenics and abortion organizations including the Population Council, provided funds to construct the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute. Author Edwin Black noted, “The Rockefeller Foundation helped found the German eugenics program and even funded the program that Josef Mengele worked in before he went to Auschwitz.”

Harry Laughlin – published in Sanger’s Birth Control Review

AES founder Harry Laughlin was published by Sanger’s Birth Control Review and signed the Citizen’s Committee on Planned Parenthood. In 1936, according to researcher Paul A. Lombardo, “Laughlin received an honorary degree from the Nazi-controlled University of Heidelberg as “a pioneer in the science of race cleansing.”

Lothrop Stoddard – sat on Sanger’s Birth Control League Board of Directors

Another Sanger cohortLothrop Stoddard, traveled to Germany to observe a Nazi eugenics court. Stoddard, a journalist and author, served on Sanger’s National Council, her ABCL Board of Directors, and the conference committee of the First American Birth Control Conference. Stoddard described this meeting in his book: Into the Darkness: A Sympathetic Report from Hitler’s Wartime Reich.

Ernst Rudin – called for racial purity in Sanger’s Birth Control Review, wrote Germany’s eugenic laws

In 1933, Sanger associate Ernst Rudin of Germany published a call for racial purity in Sanger’s Birth Control Review. Later, according to the documentary film, Maafa21, “Rudin would be chosen by Hitler to write Germany’s eugenics laws and, at one point, he personally helped the Gestapo round-up and sterilize several hundred Blacks who they referred to as ‘Rhineland bastards.’ After the war, Rudin would be identified as one of the architects of the barbaric medical experiments that the Nazis carried out in their concentration camps.”

It is documented that Planned Parenthood’s ties to eugenics ran deep and extended into the late 1960’s. Sanger’s American Birth Control League, and later Planned Parenthood, stacked their boards and events with eugenics leaders. Planned Parenthood’s first physician president, Alan F. Guttmacher, was vice president of the American Eugenics Society. Guttmacher, credited with leading Planned Parenthood to commit abortions, went on to found Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate,” the well-known Guttmacher Institute.

Tragically, eugenics philosophy paved the way for genocide under Nazi control of Germany. Today, that same philosophy has led to millions of preborn humans being massacred in the womb through abortion. As we remember what took place in Germany, the words of Rabbi Benjamin Blech ring true today: “We had no idea what was happening needs to be clearly identified as the great lie of the years of Nazi power. The harsh truth is that almost everyone had to know. The numbers negate the possibility for collective ignorance. And still the killings did not stop, the torture did not cease, the concentration camps were not closed, the crematoria continued their barbaric task. The decent people were somehow able to rationalize their silence.”

Planned Parenthood founder’s board member Lothrop Stoddard wanted ‘non-White races’ gone; met with Hitler

Margaret Sanger, founder of the American Birth Control League (ABCL), which became Planned Parenthoodin 1942, had on her ABCL board a number of controversial directors. Among them was a man named Lothrop Theodore Stoddard, a journalist and author who served on Sanger’s National Council, her ABCL Board of Directors, and the conference committee of the First American Birth Control Conference. He was also published in Sanger’s publication, the Birth Control Review (BCR). Like Sanger, Stoddard was a member of the American Eugenics Society and had connections to the Ku Klux Klan. And, like many within the eugenics movement who helped to found Planned Parenthood, Stoddard had a poor view of minorities and people of color.

                                                          Lathrop Stoddard, ABCL/Planned Parenthood Director

Stoddard is featured in a powerful documentary on the history of Planned Parenthood, which Live Action is screening on social media this week. It is called Maafa21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America and was produced by Life Dynamics, Inc., based out of Denton, Texas. The term eugenics, according to the film, was coined by Francis Galton, a cousin to Charles Darwin. Eugenicists like Stoddard and Sanger and others within her leadership believed that it was the superior race’s duty to limit the population of those who were seen by them as inferior. The American eugenics movement primarily set their eyes upon limiting the population of the Black race.

                                    Image: American Eugenics Society document

This can be seen fairly clearly in Stoddard’s book, “The Revolt Against Civilization: The Menace of the Under Man,” where he writes in part, “Much more serious is the problem presented by those far more numerous stocks which, while transcending the plane of mere savagery, have stopped at some level of barbarism…. Deceptive veneers of civilization may be acquired, but reversion to congenital barbarism ultimately takes place. To such barbarian stocks belong many of the people of Asia, the American Indians and the African [N]egroes. These congenital barbarians have always been dangerous foes of progress…”

Maafa21 quotes Stoddard as saying:

“Non-white races must be excluded from America … The red and black races if left to themselves revert to a savage or semi-savage stage in a short time.”

In the late 1920s, Stoddard was asked this question in a lively radio debate with WEB Dubois: “Shall the Negro be encouraged to seek cultural equality? Has the Negro the same intellectual possibilities as other races?”

His answer, “No!”

In 1920, Stoddard published his book, “The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy,” which contained numerous statements that today would be viewed as racist. The book was introduced by another eugenicist leader by the name of Madison Grant, whose own book, “The Passing of the Great Race,” was said to have been viewed as Adolf Hitler’s “bible” of sorts.

According to author Angela Franks, the text in Stoddard’s book contained such inflammatory statements as the following:

“‘Finally perish!’ That is the exact alternative which confronts the white race…. Just as we isolate the bacterial invasions, and starve out the bacteria, by limiting the area and amount of their food supply, so we can compel an inferior race to remain in its native habitat…”

Lothrop Stoddard wrote racist book The Rising Tide of Color, and sat on Margaret Sanger’s board

It was after “The Rising Tide of Color” was published that Sanger invited Stoddard to join her organization. His book was reviewed by Havelock Ellis, a long-time friend of Sanger’s, in a piece called, “The World’s Racial Problem,” published in the October 1920 edition of Sanger’s Birth Control Review. Although the review was, at times, critical of Stoddard, Ellis wrote in part:

Dr. Stoddard possesses, however, all the temperamental optimism and self-confidence of the white Nordic man whose champion he remains throughout…. Since by the prejudice of color, we must mostly be on his side in this matter, we may profitably meditate on the reasonable considerations he brings forward…. The old checks of the increase of population have largely fallen away, that is why we see today the excessive fertility which threatens to drown the whole world in blood. “The real enemy of the dove of peace,” as Stoddard put it, “is not the eagle of pride or the vulture of greed, but the stork.”

Ellis also wrote, “Looking at the matter, as Dr. Stoddard looks at it, from the white and more especially the Nordic standpoint, which is that of England even more than America, the danger that menaces our position is the immediate future, and our very existence on the more remote future is three fold: the peril of arms, the peril of markets and the peril of immigrants.”

According to Maafa21, Stoddard’s book was widely promoted by the Ku Klux Klan. The film also states that in another book, “The Dragon and the Cross,” Stoddard was identified as the Exalted Cyclops of the Massachusetts chapter of the Klan.

Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger herself once met with members of the Klan and described that meeting in her autobiography, writing in part,  “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…. I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…. I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…. In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.”

In 1921, Sanger’s BCR published the review of Stoddard’s “The Revolt Against Civilization,” which, according to reviewer, Juliet Barrett Rublee, Stoddard gave instructions for “race purification.” Rublee, a staunch birth control activist and friend of Sanger’s, described Stoddard’s book as “courageous, and full of fine enthusiasm and vigor of thought and spirit.”

The first step Stoddard recommended to protect the American population was, according to Rublee, “the prevention of all obvious degenerates from having children.” Another step to be taken, according to Stoddard, was “segregation of defectives, appreciation of racial principles, wise marriage selection, Birth Control: these are the main items in the program of race purification.” The BCR review quoted Stoddard as writing the following:

  • “We have among us, a rebel army, the vast host of unadaptable, the incapable, the morons, the disconnected, filled with instinctive hatred of civilization and progress and ready on the moment to rise in revolt.”
  • “[I]n every civilized country today the superior elements of the population are virtually stationary or actually declining in numbers, while the mediocre elements are rapidly increasing.”
  • “[I]ntelligence is today being steadily bred out of the American population.”
  • “The mere presence of hoards of low-grade men and women, condemned by their very nature to incompetency and failure, automatically engenders poverty, invited exploitation and drags down others just above them in the social scale. Here is the need for action most apparent.”

Stoddard’s racist ideology was totally in line with the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, according to Dr. Carolyn F. Gerster. Gerster’s research exposing Sanger’s connection to eugenics was published in this 1979 UPI article, where Gerster warned, “There is a… side to Margaret Sanger’s philosophy which must be exposed as it is surfacing in Planned Parenthood’s current policy.”

Live Action News has published extensive research on how Sanger made certain that eugenics movers and shakers were deeply embedded in her Planned Parenthood organization.

Below is a sample list of American Eugenics Society founders and members who were a part of Margaret Sanger’s board or organizations — leaders identified in the film, Maafa21. In addition to Sanger’s connections, Live Action News has documented that many of Planned Parenthood’s officials were members or leaders of the American Eugenics Society. (See a partial list here.)

In the aforementioned UPI article, Dr. Gerster noted that Stoddard’s views about the racist Nazi eugenics law of sterilization were very positive. She quoted Stoddard as saying, “The sterilization law is weeding out the worst strains of the Germanic stock is a scientific and truly humanitarian way.”

Maafa21 described Stoddard’s visit to Germany to witness a Nazi eugenics court:

On the 19th of December, 1939, during a four-month stay in Germany, Stoddard was given a personal meeting with both Adolf Hitler and the man who would eventually be in charge of the Nazi holocaust, SS leader Heinrich Himmler. Later, when a course on race was introduced at Halle University in Germany, its instructor stated that it would be modeled on the philosophies of American eugenicists including Lothrop Stoddard. Eventually, Stoddard’s racial views would even be featured in Nazi school textbooks.

Lothrop Stoddard, on Margaret Sanger board highlighted in Maafa21

Stoddard detailed his observations in witnessing the Nazi eugenics court, in another book, “Into the Darkness: An Uncensored Report from inside the Third Reich at war”:

The first case I saw looked like an excellent candidate for sterilization. A man in his mid-thirties, he was rather ape-like in appearance–receding forehead, flat nose with flaring nostrils, thick lips, and heavy prognathous jaw. Not vicious-looking, but gross and rather dull. His life-history was mildly anti-social–several convictions for minor thefts and one for a homosexual affair with another boy when a lad. In early manhood he had married a Jewess by whom he had three children, none of whom had showed up too well. That marriage had been dissolved under the Nuremberg Laws. He was now seeking to marry a woman who had already been sterilized as a moron. The law forbids a non-sterilized individual to marry a sterilized person; so he was more than willing to be also sterilized. The lower court recommended sterilization…

Lothrop Stoddard views Nazi eugenics court (Image credit: Maafa21)

Case Four was a seventeen-year-old girl. The issue was feeble-mindedness. She certainly looked feebleminded as she sat below the bench, hunched in a chair, with dull features and lackluster eyes. Left an orphan at an early age, she had had a haphazard upbringing. The record showed her to have been always shy, backward, and unable to keep up with normal schooling…

I came away convinced that the law was being administered with strict regard for its provisions and that, if anything, judgments were almost too conservative. On the evidence of that one visit, at least, the Sterilization Law is weeding out the worst strains in the Germanic stock in a scientific and truly humanitarian way.

The tragedy of eugenics, of which Sanger and Stoddard were a part, is that it may have influenced Hitler’s Nazi Holocaust, which targeted not only Jews, but the Afro-German community as well as the disabled, and beyond.

Today, in many ways, abortion is doing the exact same thing.

In fact, the same eugenics ideology that laid the groundwork for the Planned Parenthood organization is alive and well in pro-abortion philosophy. Maafa21 presents a compelling case for this connection. The film shows without exception that eugenics, abortion and Planned Parenthood are tied together. So, why do so many remain in denial?

Perhaps the answer to that is seen in the final words of one of the film’s narrators:

You know, when you study the Nazi holocaust, you can see these films of Jews running into ditches to be shot in the head. You can even see films of them actually walking into the gas chambers. And it is tempting to ask yourself why they didn’t fight back. I mean, if you’re going to be killed anyway, what have you got to lose?

Maafa21, Planned Parenthood

Maafa21 host talks about abortion

Perhaps the answer is that they simply could not believe it was really happening. Maybe the normal human mind is just not wired to accept that your fellow man is capable of such senseless brutality on such a scale – even when you see it happening with your own eyes.

As African-Americans, we need to recognize that we are doing the same thing. We need to understand that terms like “pro-choice” and “reproductive rights” and “family planning” are nothing more than marketing slogans. They are just code words that organizations like Planned Parenthood use to hide the fact that we are voluntarily submitting to the will of those who have been trying to exterminate us….

Live Action will be screening Maafa21 live on its social media pages and will be sharing clips of the film throughout the rest of February.

As Eugenics continues in US Adolf Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampf’ surges in e-book sales

You won’t see Adolf Hitler peering back at you from the featured display tables at Barnes & Noble any time soon. But browse the most popular e-book stores these days and Der Führer’s mug is seemingly unavoidable. For a year now, his magnum manifesto has loomed large over current best-sellers on iTunes, where at the time of this writing two different digital versions of Mein Kampf rank 12th and 15th on the Politics & Current Events chart alongside books by modern conservative powerhouses like Sarah Palin, Charles Krauthammer and Glenn Beck.

So says Vocativ

meinkampf

Hitler’s Nazis’ extermination program outlined in Mein Kampf was carried out in the name of eugenics – but they were by no means the only advocates of racial purification.

According to author Edwin Black, Germany had developed its own body of eugenic knowledge and library of publications. Yet German readers still closely followed American eugenic accomplishments as the model: biological courts, forced sterilisation, detention for the socially inadequate, debates on euthanasia. As America’s elite were describing the socially worthless and the ancestrally unfit as “bacteria,” “vermin,” “mongrels” and “subhuman”, a superior race of Nordics was increasingly seen as the answer to the globe’s eugenic problems. US laws, eugenic investigations and ideology became blueprints for Germany’s rising tide of race biologists and race-based hatemongers.

One such agitator was a disgruntled corporal in the German army. In 1924, he was serving time in prison for mob action. While there, he spent his time poring over eugenic textbooks, which extensively quoted Davenport, Popenoe and other American ethnological stalwarts. And he closely followed the writings of Leon Whitney, president of the American Eugenics Society, and Madison Grant, who extolled the Nordic race and bemoaned its “corruption” by Jews, Negroes, Slavs and others who did not possess blond hair and blue eyes. The young German corporal even wrote one of them fan mail.

In The Passing of the Great Race, Grant wrote: “Mistaken regard for what are believed to be divine laws and a sentimental belief in the sanctity of human life tend to prevent both the elimination of defective infants and the sterilization of such adults as are themselves of no value to the community. The laws of nature require the obliteration of the unfit and human life is valuable only when it is of use to the community or race.

One day in the early 1930s, Whitney visited Grant to show off a letter he had just received from Germany, written by the corporal, now out of prison and rising in the German political scene. Grant could only smile. He pulled out his own letter. It was from the same German, thanking Grant for writing The Passing of the Great Race. The fan letter called Grant’s book “his Bible”. The man who sent those letters was Adolf Hitler.

Hitler displayed his knowledge of American eugenics in much of his writing and conversation. In Mein Kampf, for example, he declared: “The demand that defective people be prevented from propagating equally defective offspring is a demand of clearest reason and, if systematically executed, represents the most humane act of mankind. It will spare millions of unfortunates undeserved sufferings, and consequently will lead to a rising improvement of health as a whole.”

Since World War II, it has been well-documented that Adolf Hitler was profoundly influenced by the American eugenics movement and that many of his government’s racial policies were actually developed from the writings of American eugenicists like Grant and Laughlin. In fact, Hitler referred to Grant’s book, The Passing of The Great Race, as his bible.

Madison Grant

Meanwhile, American eugenicists were praising Hitler and holding up the Nazi eugenics program as a model for the United States to copy.

The leader of the German Nation, Adolf Hitler, … has been able to construct a comprehensive racial policy of population development and improvement … The difference between the Jew and the Aryan is as unsurmountable as that between black and white … Germany has set a pattern which other nations must follow.” Dr. Clarence Gordon Campbell, 1935, President, Eugenics Research Association, New York.

Clarence Gordon Campbell

An often overlooked fact about the German holocaust and Adolf Hitler is that the Nazis did not simply target the Jewish population, they went after the black community as well. Under the threat of being sent to concentration camps if they did not cooperate, Afro-German citizens were not only forced to undergo sterilization themselves, they were also required to turn over their children for sterilization. In his book, Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler explained the motivation behind such programs.

Rhineland

The Jews were responsible for bringing Negroes into the Rhineland … it suits the purpose of the cool calculating Jew who would use this means of introducing a process of bastardization in the very centre of the European Continent and, by infecting the white race with the blood of an inferior stock, would destroy the foundations of its independent existence.” Adolf Hitler – Mein Kampf.

Nazi Jew Poster

James Watson of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, “The eugenicists in Germany was a sort of Faustian bargain, Hitler let them do their eugenics and in return they had to help the Nazis proscribe the Jews and the Gypsies, and the genetically deformed, so that eventually they could kill them. They say it was a step by step thing and in 1933 they didn’t know where Hitler was going, but if they had read Mein Kampf it was very clear where he wanted to go.”

Hitler read Eugen Fischer’s textbook Principles of Human Heredity and Race Hygiene while in prison at Landsberg and used eugenical notions to support the ideal of a pure Aryan society in his manifesto, Mein Kampf (My Struggle). When he came to power in 1933, Hitler charged the medical profession with the task of implementing a national program of race hygiene – a key element of which was passage of an act permitting involuntary sterilization of feebleminded, mentally ill, epileptics, and alcoholics. Within a year, more than 50,000 sterilizations were ordered, and doctors competed to fill sterilization quotas. By the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939, an estimated 400,000 people had been sterilized.

Eugen Fischer

To eliminate blacks from Germany, one of the people Hitler called on was a eugenicist who had once written that blacks are an inferior race of savages who should only be allowed to survive as long as they are of use to the Aryan race. His name was Eugen Fischer and, about 20 years earlier, he had been one of the leaders of a system of concentration camps in southwestern Africa where blacks were rounded up to be executed, experimented upon or held as free labor.

Under Hitler, Fischer would serve on committees that planned the sterilization of all blacks in countries that came under German control. He would also be one of the first Nazi scientists to become publicly affiliated with the Carnegie-funded eugenics laboratory in Cold Spring Harbor, New York.

Eventually, Fischer would also be put in charge of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute which was funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. It was here that many of the Nazi programs for creating racial purity were developed.

Quoted from the documentary film: Maafa21

Fischer Sanger

In 1927, Eugenics member and Birth Control pioneer, Margaret Sanger, who also founded Planned Parenthood in 1942, organized the World Population Conference in Geneva Switzerland and gave it front page coverage in her Birth Control Review. The events program shows that several of its attendees were colleagues of Sanger’s from the American Eugenics Movement. It also documents that among those who were given a leadership role in the conference was Eugen Fischer, the man who eventually lead the Nazi effort to eradicate blacks from Europe.

In an August 28,1935 New York Times article, Fischer praises Hitler, and asks the World Population Congress at that time to “greet him with me: Hail Fuehrer and Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler.”

FischerPraisesHitlerNYT87281935

Fischer was Director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics from 1927 to 1942, Fischer authored a 1913 study of the Mischlinge (racially mixed) children of Dutch men and Hottentot women in German southwest Africa. Fischer opposed “racial mixing,” arguing that “Negro blood” was of “lesser value” and that mixing it with “white blood” would bring about the demise of European culture. After 1933, Fischer adapted his institute’s activities to serve Nazi antisemitic policies. He taught courses for SS doctors, served as a judge on Berlin’s Hereditary Health Court, and provided hundreds of opinions on the paternity and “racial purity” of individuals, including the Mischlinge offspring of Jewish and non-Jewish German couples.

[POSTWAR CAREER] Fischer retired in 1942 as Director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics. After the war he worked to secure university teaching positions for many of his former students (including Otmar von Verschuer). As professor emeritus at the university of Freiburg, Fischer continued to lecture and publish articles in anthropological journals. He died in 1967.

Eugen Fischer, collaborated with American Eugenics Society founder, Charles Davenport in the management of the International Federation of Eugenics Organizations. On the occasion of the International Eugenics Congress in Rome, in 1929, they drafted a memo to Mussolini encouraging him to move ahead on eugenics with “maximum speed.”

In 1934, Adolf Hitler sent a letter to American eugenicist, Leon Whitney, complimenting him for a book he had written on sterilization.
Leon Whitney Acclaims Hitler

Whitney was the former Executive Secretary of the American Eugenics Society and a colleague of Margaret Sanger’s. Sanger also published his writings in the Birth Control Review.

Case for Sterilization

In the book that Hitler was praising, Whitney had written that America could eliminate what he called the “slum elements” of society by sterilizing the lowest 25 percent of its population. He claimed this was necessary because such people are too stupid to comprehend or carry out even simple methods of contraception.

Given the admiration Adolf Hitler had for the American eugenics movement, it is not unlikely that the Eugenics Courts in Nazi Germany were modeled after the state eugenics boards in the U.S. In both countries, feeblemindedness was routinely used as a catch-all justification for sterilization and the diagnosis of feeblemindedness was almost always made by the person advocating the sterilization.

During the four months that American Birth Control League director, Lothrop Stoddard, was in Nazi Germany, he not only met with Hitler and SS chief Himmler, he also attended one of the Nazi Eugenics Courts.

When Hitler came to power in 1933, he charged the medical profession with the task of implementing a national program in race hygiene. The first key element was the enactment, in 1934, of a law permitting involuntary sterilization of feebleminded, mentally ill, epileptics, and alcoholics. ERO Superintendent Harry Laughlin’s model sterilization law was closely modeled, and his contributions to race hygiene were recognized with an honorary degree from the University of Heidelberg. The “marriage laws” of 1935 prohibited unions between “Aryans” and Jews, as well the eugenically unfit.

Laughlin was an official with both the American Eugenics Society and the American Birth Control League and, in 1928, his plan for using forced sterilization to eliminate those who might produce what he called “degenerate offspring” was published in the Birth Control Review.

Harry Laughlin BCR

In 1936, Laughlin led an effort to distribute the English-language version of a Nazi eugenics film to audiences in the northeastern part of the United States. He had acquired the rights to the film from the Race Policy Office of the Nazi Party and, with the help of two other American eugenics organizations, had mailed literature to biology teachers at 3,000 U.S. high schools urging them to show it in their classrooms. Later that year, Laughlin was praised in a Nazi newspaper and awarded an honorary degree from the University of Heidelberg for his contributions to the Nazi eugenics effort.

Laughlin would later go on to be a principle founder of the Pioneer Fund, and received an honorary degree by the University of Heidelberg in 1936 for his work behalf of the “science of racial cleansing.” The Nazi German state would sterilize many hundreds of thousands of people under their own sterilization laws.

Rudin

The Nazis and the American eugenics movement were also connected by a German psychiatrist named Ernst Rudin. He was the president of the International Federation of Eugenics in Cold Spring Harbor, New York, which was funded by the Carnegie Corporation and, in 1933, his call for racial purity was published in the Birth Control Review.

Later, Rudin would be chosen by Hitler to write Germany’s eugenics laws and, at one point, he personally helped the Gestapo round-up and sterilize between 500 and 600 blacks who they referred to as “Rhineland bastards.” After the war, Rudin would be identified as one of the architects of the barbaric medical experiments that the Nazis carried out in their concentration camps.

It is possible that Hitler got the idea for concentration camps while studying the American eugenics movement. In 1919, the state of Indiana had allocated $300,000 to create a work colony in the city of Butlerville where those who were labeled feebleminded would be incarcerated.

FarmsandOpenSpaces

Then in 1932, Margaret Sanger called for the U.S. government to set aside farms and what she called “open spaces” where certain groups of people would be segregated from the rest of society. She proposed that, among others, the illiterate, the unemployed and the poor should be forcibly kept in these areas until they developed “better moral conduct.”

By the outbreak of WWII, in 1939, an estimated 400,000 people had been sterilized. However, in 1940 the need for hospital beds for wounded soldiers prompted a “final solution” for “lives not worth living.” Psychiatrists and medical doctors identified more than 70,000 mental patients who were poisoned with carbon monoxide in extermination centers at psychiatric hospitals.

After gassing of mental patients ceased in 1941, medical and other personnel with euthanasia experience were reassigned to concentration camps in Poland, where hydrogen cyanide gas was used to kill Jews, gypsies, Slavs, and Social Democrats.

With the horrific slaughter of the Jewish Holocaust, the sterilization of blacks in Germany and the forced sterilization of many in America some would be startled to discover that Mein Kampf is once again becoming popular. However, when you consider, that, in America alone, over 55 million children have been slaughtered by abortion under the same eugenics reasoning of Hitler and the American Eugenics Boards, one is not shocked.

In fact, when you look at the silence of the German people during their shameful holocaust it mirrors what is occurring in America now.

Lothrop Stoddard ABCL Margaret Sanger Director

Lothrop Stoddard was a famous racist who wrote The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy, which became a best-seller. The text contained such inflammatory statements as the following: “‘Finally perish!’ That is the exact alternative which confronts the white race…. Just as we isolate the bacterial invasions, and starve out the bacteria, by limiting the area and amount of their food supply, so we can compel an inferior race to remain in its native habitat…” (Lothrop Stoddard, The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy [New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1926], 303, 306, quoted in Black, op. cit., 133)

Lothrop Stoddard on Sangers ABCL Board

He worked with Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League in the following capacities: he was on the National Council, the fifteen-member Board of Directors, and on the conference committee of the First American Birth Control Conference and by publishing eugenicist articles in the Birth Control Review (for example, in the December 1921 issue). (Black, op. cit., 133-34; http://www.nyu.edu/projects/sanger/abcl.htm)

Lothrop Stoddard was often quoted by the KLAN.Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger was also a featured speaker for the KLAN. Sanger admitted in her autobiography that she was invited at LEAST a dozen times to speak to the KLAN and now Planned Parenthood’s highest award is named in Sanger’s honor.

Stoddard, was an American racial anthropologist and was one of many eugenicists whose works were translated into German in the 1920s. His two most popular books were The Rising Tide of Color Against White-World-Supremacy and The Revolt Against Civilization (shown above). His writings were also featured in German textbooks.

StoddardRisingTideofColorandHitler

Stoddard wrote this in “Negro Equality, ― A Debate.”

“The basic reason for White America’s attitude and policy toward the Negro is, — not a belief in the Negro’s inferiority, — but the fact of his difference. True, most Whites to-day believe the Negro to be their inferior. Yet this belief is, in itself, no mere arbitrary prejudice. On the contrary, it springs largely from realization of racial difference and all that that connotes. White Americans feel that to incorporate the many millions of this widely differing stock into our racial life would profoundly change our national character, temperament, and ideals. And since these matters are supremely cherished, we do not propose to jeopardize them, either for ourselves or for unborn generations who have an indefeasible right to their racial heritage.
Even a general knowledge of historical and scientific facts suffices to show the need for a racial basis to our national life, — as it has been, and as we intend that it shall be. We know that our America is a White America. “America,” in the traditional sense of the word, was founded by White men, who evolved institutions, ideals, and cultural manifestations which were spontaneous expressions of their racial temperament and tendencies. And the overwhelming weight of both historical and scientific evidence shows that only so long as the American people remains White will its institutions, ideals, and culture continue to fit the temperament of its inhabitants, — and hence continue to endure.
Therefore, if we desire to perpetuate our America, we White Americans must absolutely refuse to countenance the spread through our stock of racial strains so different and so numerous that they would undermine our ethnic foundations. In other words, we are dealing, not with opinions concerning relative racial merits or demerits, but with an imperative urge of self-preservation. And self-preservation is the first law of nature.
Let us probe yet more deeply into the matter. Even if we entirely disregard the weight of scientific evidence which clearly tends to show that crosses between White and Negro are biologically undesirable, we must be guided by one fact which has been scientifically determined beyond all doubt, — the fact that such crosses produce highly disruptive effects. And similar disruptive effects are produced by crosses between Whites and members of non-White races other than Negroes. …
Here are the plain facts of the case: Since the Negroes form nearly one-tenth of the population of the United States, we are statistically light mulattos. In the last analysis, the only thing which keeps us from being biologically mulattos is the color-line. Therefore, once the principle of the color-line is abandoned, White America is doomed, and a mulatto America stands on the threshold. … But it can not be too promptly or emphatically stated that athwart that road we plant the sign: No Thoroughfare! White America intends at all costs to remain White, and every attack on the color-line will merely cause it to be applied more strictly and will hinder any feasible adjustment of race relations based upon a recognition of existing realities.”

Among American eugenicists who most strongly supported the Nazi’s was a member of the American Eugenics Society, a director of the American Birth Control League and a writer for the Birth Control Review. His name was Lothrop Stoddard. An avowed racist, Stoddard was the author of a book called, The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy which was widely promoted by the Ku Klux Klan.

“Non-white races must be excluded from America … The red and black races if left to themselves revert to a savage or semi-savage stage in a short time.” Lothrop Stoddard, Director, American Birth Control League.

Stoddard, Lothrop - Into the Darkness

On the 19th of December, 1939, during a four-month stay in Germany, Stoddard was given a personal meeting with both Adolf Hitler and the man who would eventually be in charge of the Nazi holocaust, SS leader Heinrich Himmler. Later, when a course on race was introduced at Halle University in Germany, its instructor stated that it would be modeled on the philosophies of American eugenicists including Lothrop Stoddard. Eventually, Stoddard’s racial views would even be featured in Nazi school textbooks. “ ..the white race divides into three main sub-species- the Nordics, the Alpines, and the Mediterraneans. All three are good stocks, ranking in genetic worth well above the various colored races.” Lothrop Stoddard, Director, American Birth Control League.

CandidateSterilization

During the four months that American Birth Control League director, Lothrop Stoddard, was in Nazi Germany, he not only met with Hitler and SS chief Himmler, he also attended one of the Nazi Eugenics Courts. <em> “The first case I saw looked like an excellent candidate for sterilization. A man in his mid-thirties, he was rather ape-like in appearance–receding forehead, flat nose with flaring nostrils, thick lips, and heavy prognathous jaw. Not vicious-looking, but gross and rather dull.” Lothrop Stoddard, Director, American Birth Control League, later known as Planned Parenthood.

In another book, The Dragon and the Cross, Stoddard was identified as the Exalted Cyclops of the Massachusetts chapter of the Klan.

Stoddard, Lothrop - The Rising Tide of Color

Lothrop Stoddard The Rising Tide of Color against White-World Supremacy, by Lothard Stoddard University Press of the Pacific; 2003, printed from the 1922 edition

1914- Lothrop Stoddard writes, “The world-wide struggle between the primary races of mankind- the ‘conflict of color’, as it has been happily termed- bids fair to be the fundamental problem of the twentieth century, and great communities like the United States of America, the South African Confederation, and Australasia regard the ‘color question’ as perhaps the gravest problem of the future.” ( SOURCE: Quoting from The French Revolution in San Domingo in The Rising Tide of Color against White-World Supremacy, by Lothard Stoddard University Press of the Pacific; 2003, printed from the 1922 edition, Preface)

1922- NOTE: Comparing Nordics nations with Asian, Black etc, Stoddard writes, “ there can be no doubt that at present the colored races are increasing very must faster than the white. Treating the primary race-stocks as units , it would appear that Whites tend to double in eighty years, yellows and browns in sixty years, blacks in forty years. The whites are thus the slowest breeders , and they will undoubtedly become slower still, since section after section of the white race is revealing that lowered birth rate which in France has reached the extreme of a stationary problem.”

“ On the other hand ,none of the colored races shows perceptible signs of declining birth-rate, all tending to breed up to the limits of available subsistence. ..The greater part of the colored world today is under white political control. ” PP 7-8

In a chapter entitled: Black Man’s Land, Stoddard writes, “From the first glance we see that, in the negro, we are in the presence of a being differing profoundly not merely from the white man but also from those human types which we discovered in our surveys of the brown and yellow worlds. The black man is, indeed, sharply differentiated from the other branches of mankind. His outstanding quality is superabundant animal vitality. In this he easily surpasses all other races. To it he owes his intense emotionalism. To it, again, is due his extreme, fecundity, the negro being the quickest of breeders. This abounding vitality shows in many other ways, such as the negro’s ability to survive harsh conditions of slavery other which other races have soon succumbed. Lastly, in ethnic crossings, the negro strikingly displays his prepotency, for black blood, once entering a human stock, seems never really bred out again.” P 90

QUOTING Havelock Ellis, Lothrop Stoddard writes“ As we approach the higher forms of life reproduction gradually dies down. The animals nearest to man produce few offspring, but they surround them with parental care, until they are able to lead independent lives with a fair chance of surviving. The whole process may be regarded as a mechanism for slowly subordinating quantity to quality, and so promoting the evolution of life to ever higher stages.” ( SOURCE: Havelock Ellis, “ Essays in War-Time” , p. 198 American Edition, Boston, 1917 as quoted in The Rising Tide of Color against White-World Supremacy, by Lothard Stoddard University Press of the Pacific; 2003, printed from the 1922 edition; P. 161)

Stoddard explains, “Wherever one looked in the white world, it was precisely those peoples of highest genetic worth whose birth-rate fell off most sharply, while within the ranks of the several peoples it was those social classes containing the highest portion of able strains which were contributing the smallest quotas to the population. Everywhere the better types ( on which the future of the race depends) were numerically stationary or dwindling, while conversely , the lower types were gaining ground , their birth-rate showing relatively slight diminution.” ( The Rising Tide of Color against White-World Supremacy, by Lothard Stoddard University Press of the Pacific; 2003, printed from the 1922 edition; P. 162)

“ Our country, originally settled almost exclusively by Nordics, was toward the close of the nineteenth century invaded by hordes of immigrant Alpines and Mediterraneans, not to mention Asiatic elements like Levantines and Jews. As a result, the Nordic native American has been crowded out with amazing rapidity by these swarming, prolific aliens, and after two short generations he has in many of our urban areas become almost extinct…Contrary to popular belief , nothing is more unstable than the ethnic make-up of a people…Where the parent stocks are very diverse, as in matings between whites, neroes, and Amerindians, the offspring is a Mongrel- a walking chaos , so consumed by his jarring heredities that he is quite worthless.” P. 165-166

P.262, “Thus the entire process of colonial settlement was one continuous, drastic cycle of eugenic selection. Only the racially fit ordinarily came, while the few unfit who did come were mostly weeded out buy the exacting requirements of early American life.”

Stoddard quotes Madison Grant, “The eugenic results were magnificent. As Madison Grant well says, “ Nature had vouchsafed to the Americans os a Century ago the greatest opportunity in recorded history to produce in the isolation of a continent a powerful and racially homogeneous people, and had provided for the experiment a pure race of one of the most gifted and vigorous stocks on earth, a stock free from disease, physical and moral, which have again and again snapped the vigor of the older lands. Our grandfathers threw away this opportunity in the blissful ignorance of national childhood and inexperience.” ( Madison Grant, The Passing of the Great Race” P. 90 as quoted in The Rising Tide of Color against White-World Supremacy, by Lothard Stoddard University Press of the Pacific; 2003, printed from the 1922 edition; P. 262)

P. 307 “For race-betterment is such an intenseley practical matter! When peoples come to realize that the quality of the population is the source of all their prosperity, progress security, and even existence; when they realize that a single genius may be worth more in actual dollars than a dozen gold-mines, while conversely, racial decline spells material impoverishment and decay; when such things are really believed, we shall see much abused “eugenics” actually molding social programmes and political policies. Were the white world today really convinced of the supreme importance of race-values, how long would it take to stop debassing immigration, reform social abuses that are killing out the fittest strains, and put an end to the feuds which have just sent us through hell and threaten to send us promptly back again?”

“Well, perhaps our change of heart may come sooner than now appears.”The Rising Tide of Color against White-World Supremacy, by Lothard Stoddard University Press of the Pacific; 2003, printed from the 1922 edition; P. 306

‘MAAFA 21’: Movie charges Planned Parenthood with ‘black genocide’

By Joyce Coronel | April 14, 2010 | The Catholic Sun
LAVEEN — Maria Birnbaum is telling everyone she knows about “Maafa 21,” a film that painstakingly chronicles the history of the eugenics movement and its ties to Planned Parenthood.

The longtime pro-life advocate is alive today because her mother, pregnant after being raped, chose adoption rather than abortion.

After viewing “Maafa 21,” Birnbaum — a mother of four — started calling parishes in the Diocese of Phoenix, offering to show the movie and lead a discussion group afterwards. So far, nine parishes have agreed.

“When I saw the movie I was blown away,” Birnbaum said. “There were things in there I never dreamed could happen in this country.”

Maafa 21,” which takes its name from the Swahili word for “great disaster,” was produced by Life Dynamics, a pro-life organization based in Texas. The number 21 refers to the fact that the abortion industry continues to cause the deaths of thousands of unborn black babies well into the 21st century.

While blacks comprise just 12 percent of the U.S. population, they account for 37 percent of the abortions performed. Last month, Auxilary Bishop Joseph Perry of Chicago added his voice to the charge of black genocide, citing the same CDC statistics used in the film.

“Abortion is quietly spelling the decimation of the black community in our society,” he said.

Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, had originally set out to write a book about abortion that included a chapter on eugenics. Upon researching the connection between the two topics, he instead decided on filming a documentary to shine a light on the underlying racism of the abortion movement.

Eugenics deals with the idea that races can be improved by discouraging or preventing reproduction by those who have what are deemed undesirable traits. Nazi Germany embraced eugenics and used it as a rationale to exterminate millions in an effort to create a pure race.

Maafa 21” makes the case that Hitler was “profoundly influenced” by American eugenicists Madison Grant and Lothrop Stoddard. Not only that, it points out that American eugenicists routinely praised Hitler’s ideal of racial superiority.

The meticulously researched, two-hour-plus movie gives an in-depth account of the eugenics movement in America and its undeniably strong ties to Margaret Sanger, the founder of the American Birth Control League, eventually renamed Planned Parenthood.

And while the horrors of Nazi Germany gave eugenics a bad name, the underlying mindset prevailed: the “feeble-minded” and other “undesirable” individuals — code words for blacks, the movie claims — ought to be prevented from having children.

The CDC estimates that since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in the United States, 13 million abortions have been performed on black women. The CDC also reports that of the 4,000 abortions that take place in the country each day, 1,452 of them are performed on African-American women.

According to a 2008 report by Planned Parenthood’s research arm The Guttmacher Institute:

The rate of abortion in the United States is at its lowest level since 1974, having declined 33% from a peak of 29 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 in 1980 to 20 per 1,000 in 2004. However, this overall trend masks large disparities in rates of unintended pregnancy and abortion across demographic subgroups, according to Trends in the Characteristics of Women Obtaining Abortions, 1974 to 2004.

The analysis found positive trends, but highlights several issues of concern,” said Sharon Camp, Guttmacher Institute president and CEO. “Many Americans will welcome the news that there are fewer abortions, particularly among teens, and that a larger proportion of abortions are now happening very early in pregnancy. But at the same time, abortions are becoming more concentrated among women of color and low-income women. …”

Although abortion rates have declined among all racial and ethnic groups, large disparities persist, with Hispanic and black women obtaining abortions at rates three and five times higher, respectively, than non-Hispanic white women.

Abortions by Race and Ethnicity

In the early years of abortion data collection, women’s racial and ethnic classification was limited to “white” and “nonwhite,” with many Hispanic women categorized as “white.”* In the early 1970s, more than two-thirds of all women obtaining abortions were white (70%, not shown).

But beginning around 1980, the proportion of all abortions accounted for by nonwhite women began to increase steadily.

By 2004, 37% of abortions were obtained by black women,
34% by non-Hispanic white women,
22% by Hispanic women and
8% by women of races other than white and black

Of the racial and ethnic groups, non-Hispanic white women had the lowest abortion rate in 2004, 11 per 1,000.
Black women had the highest abortion rate.

Well – there you have it. The Guttmacher Institute was founded by former Planned Parenthood President Alan Guttmacher. Alan Guttmacher was also the former Vice -President of the American Eugenics Society.

Some accuse Planned Parenthood of deliberately trying to exterminate the Black Population by targeting African Americans.

Case in Point, I found this statement online:

Would you give money to the KKK? Why should any tax dollars go to an organization like Planned Parenthood whose founders were elitist eugenicists who wanted to eliminate entire groups of people? Planned Parenthood’s renowned founder, Margaret Sanger spoke to the KLAN and in Sanger’s own autobiography she openly admitted that she received an additional dozen invites from the Klan to speak with them.

Planned Parenthood icon, Margaret Sanger, had on her board Lothrop Stoddard an avowed racist whose books were used as text books by the Klan. Sanger not only founded Planned Parenthood, but was a card carrying member of the American Eugenics Society.

Alan Guttmacher, former Planned Parenthood Prez and (research arm of Planned Parenthood) was a Vice President of the American Eugenics Society.

In fact, many of Sanger’s board members were eugenic society members.

In fact, one of Planned Parenthood’s members was the former Arkansas Eugenics Society office under the direction of Mrs. Edward Cornish, also on the board.

It was the American Eugenics Society which influenced the Nazis under Hitler.

Margaret Sanger loved eugenics and the American Eugenics Society so much, that in her publications the Birth Control Review, she described a meeting with them to merge her publication with theirs.

That meeting was set-up by non other than Leon Whitney, a founder of the American Eugenics Society and a friend of the Planned Parenthood Founder who openly praised Hitler.

A recent Planned Parenthood President , Faye Wattleton, admitted on CNN that Planned Parenthood knowingly accepts money from racist people who want to see the black race eliminated all together. So why shouldn’t we protest them getting our tax dollars? We hate racism !

A new documentary on this subject attempts to sort all this out. It is called: Maafa21. http://www.maafa21.com

Fury at DNA
pioneer’s theory: Africans are less intelligent than Westerners

Dr Watson, who now runs one of America’s leading scientific research institutions, made the controversial remarks in an interview in The Sunday Times.

The 79-year-old geneticist said he was “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours – whereas all the testing says not really“.

He said he hoped that everyone was equal, but countered that “people who have to deal with black employees find this not true“.

the Swedes have not always acted benevolently, as reported on page A1 of the August 29, 1997, Washington Post,

From 1934 to 1974, 62,000 Swedes were sterilized as part of a national program grounded in the science of racial biology and carried out by officials who believed they were helping to build a progressive, enlightened welfare state…In some cases, couples judged to be inferior parents were sterilized, as were their children when they became teenagers.

Nobel Prize Winner: William Shockley

shockley

Shockley co-invented the transistor, for which all three were awarded the 1956 Nobel Prize in Physics….
Shockley became famous in his later career for supporting the controversial genetic hypothesis of race and intelligence.

Major Findings of Dr. Shockley

Dr. William Shockley is a professor at Stanford University in Calif. Basically the following constitute his views after many years of painstaking study and research.

1) Historically, blacks have an I.Q. 15 points lower than that of the average White. The difference is due to heredity and not environment.

2) Positive traits found in high I.Q. people include honesty, resistance to cheating and physical capacity. It takes such good traits to develop and maintain a good society.

3) Parents who have high I.Q.s have high I.Q. children and the opposite is true for those with low I.Q.s.

4) We live in a Dark Age dogmatism which blocks objective studies of the I.Q. differences which exist.

5) Low I.Q. blacks and Mexicans are outbreeding Whites. This element is the major cause of poverty, crime and unemployment and a host of other human miseries that impose heavy burdens on society. Today we are breeding problem makers instead of problem solvers . People with the low I.Q. of ’80 make up a majority of the prison population of America. (Average White I.Q. is 105).

6) Low I.Q. blacks are bearing twice as many children as Whites and Aid to Dependent Children is doubling every 10 years. Thus it will be 1,000 times higher than it was 20 years ago in a century, creating a burden society cannot bear.

7) Negroes’ intellectual and social deficits are hereditary and racially genetic. Thus, they are not remediable by improving their environment. Negroes are genetically enslaved to a life of frustration and may be the root cause of urban decay. It is possible that welfare mothers have babies to increase their income.

And here is another Elitist Racist : Garrett Hardin BRILLIANT

hardin-1963

The most important aspect of necessity that we must now recognize, is the necessity of abandoning the commons in breeding. No technical solution can rescue us from the misery of overpopulation. Freedom to breed will bring ruin to all. At the moment, to avoid hard decisions many of us are tempted to propagandize for conscience and responsible parenthood. The temptation must be resisted, because an appeal to independently acting consciences selects for the disappearance of all conscience in the long run, and an increase in anxiety in the short.

The only way we can preserve and nurture other and more precious freedoms is by relinquishing the freedom to breed, and that very soon. “Freedom is the recognition of necessity”–and it is the role of education to reveal to all the necessity of abandoning the freedom to breed. Only so, can we put an end to this aspect of the tragedy of the commons.

Hardin sounds like : John Paul Holdren, President Obama’s Science Czar

johnholden

In the 1970’s President Obama’s Science Czar, Paul Holdren, published many books, several which were co-authored with radical population control guru, Paul Ehrlich. Holdren stated officially that one of his mentors was a Professor he had by the name of Paul Harrison.

Harrison suggested that infanticide was a legitimate form of population control when he wrote this in his book, The Challenge of Man’s Future, from page 87 . ” In the absence of restraint abortion, sterilization, coitus interruptus, or artificial fertility control, the resultant high birth rate would have to be matched at equilibrium by an equally high death rate. A major contribution to the high death rate could be infanticide, as has been the situation in cultures of the past.

Holdren asked this question in an article authored by him, which was published a book entitled, No Growth Society,

Why, then, should we compound our plight by permitting population growth to continue?” He stated clearly that in the 1970’s the US had already exceeded its “optimum population size of 210 million” (pg. 41) and concluded that , ” it should be obvious that the optimum rate of population growth is zero or negative…“

Oh and didn’t President Obama just win the Nobel Peace Prize? Hmmm….
