Planned Parenthood letter scheme encourages abortion opponents

Posted in Cecile Richards, Center for Medical Progress with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 15, 2015 by saynsumthn

A new trend of letters signed by Planned Parenthood’s president Cecile Richards to opponents of the abortion business has been emerging. Richards apparently has not been busy enough defending her multi-million dollar tax funded organizations’ participation in the selling and harvesting of aborted baby parts, she is now busy signing letters to her opponents.

The letters are in response to a donation made to the abortion biz in the name of someone who ardently opposes Planned Parenthood.

But rather than discouraging the recipients, the letters appear to be more of a badge of honor to those they were delivered to. In fact, Saynsumthn obtained the permission of the recipients, to published them below.

Each letter states the following:

    Dear [ name]

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is pleased to let you know that a generous and thoughtful contribution has been made in your honor by: [name on contributor]

    We send our warmest regards.

    Cecile Richards,
    president, PPFA.

Cheryl Sullenger, Operation Rescue’s Senior Vice President, was the recipient of one of the thank you letters.

Cheryl Sullenger an Planned Parenthood89_4268388617768474592_n

It just re-emphasized to me how desperate Cecile Richards and Planned Parenthood are and how effective our work has been,” Sullenger told Live Action News.

Operation Rescue has in the forefront of the effort to expose Planned Parenthood. Their president, Troy Newman sits on the board of the Center for Medical Progress credited for the multi-year investigation uncovering the abortion giant’s baby harvesting operation.

Another recipient was Rusty Thomas, National Director of Operation Save America (OSA).

He told Saynsumthn that he suspects he received the letter because OSA has concentrated a lot on Planned Parenthood since the Center for Medical Progress videos uncovered their baby harvesting atrocities.

A letter was also sent to an activist from Abolish Human Abortion, a group which opposes abortion but does not refer to themselves a pro-life.

Todd Bullis PLanned Parenthood Letter_704261626191210154_n

Todd Bullis told this blogger that he assumes the person who made a Planned Parenthood contribution in his name must of thought it would bother him, which it did not.

There seems to be no legitimate reason to contribute to Planned Parenthood in the name of someone who opposes abortion, unless of course, the donor wants help Cecile Richards continue to earn her hefty six digit salary.

The letters follow another trend of odd behavior where abortion advocates mailed glitter bombs to pro-life groups in a failed attempt to discourage them.

The concept mirrors ongoing pro-abortion fundraising efforts such as “pledge a picketer,” and “adopt and anti,” to try and discourage 40 Days for Life and other groups from going to abortion clinics to offer help to women.

PP PLedge a picket 40 days

But, as much as Planned Parenthood’s latest scheme seems geared toward dissuading activists from opposing abortion, they are having the opposite effect. Opponents of Planned Parenthood say that they are more determined than ever to topple the industry which slaughters children and sells their parts for research. And, some even find the ridiculous letters signed by Cecile Richards encouraging.

If we were ineffective, she wouldn’t bother to try play ridiculous mind games with us. It’s encouraging!” Sullenger stated.

Christian Pastor languishing in Iranian prison writes, “God is in control”

Posted in Christian Martyrs, persecution with tags , , , , , , , , , on July 20, 2015 by saynsumthn

Iran has detained America citizen Saeed Abedini, on 9/26/12 because it views his Christian activities as a threat to its national security. Help free Saeed.

Pastor Saeed Abedini’s Wife Naghmeh Testifies to Congress on behalf of her husband:

Saeed’s father visited Saeed in prison this month.

A Post published by Pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini’s Facebook page updates their followers:

Saeed had heard about the deal with Iran and wanted to share the following message with you all (see below). Please pray for Saeed as the situation inside of the prison has become worst for him at the hands of the hardliners who do not like that he is an American and also that he is a convert from Islam to Christianity. These are the same hardliners who have been chanting death to America. It is urgent that we get him out. Please join our family in prayer.

    Saeed’s letter:

I know that so many of you have felt that I have been left behind after a deal was reached with Iran and I am still not home.

I want you to know that as I wrote the thank you letter to President Obama after he had visited my family in January of this year (which he read at the national prayer breakfast), that God is in control of all countries and leadership in the world when the body of Christ comes together in united prayer. He is in control and He is the One who beautifully writes the history over all governments, presidents, and any P5+1 negotiating team.

We are all looking for a safer, more friendly world and because of this desire many of us are happy and others un-happy about the deal. Please join me in using these emotions that have been awakened to give fervor to united prayer for God’s chosen nation, for America, and for the whole world.

More Clergy Letters from abortion giant Planned Parenthood emerge

Posted in Clergy for Choice, Planned Parenthood Clergy with tags , , , , , on July 6, 2014 by saynsumthn

This blog broke the news that Planned Parenthood, the nation’s top abortion provider had published a Pastoral Letter to Patients. The outrage of the community to this heretical letter was so great that the abortion giant pulled it off the internet.

Now I have discovered a 2nd letter called “Pastoral Letter About Your Abortion Decision”.

Planned Parenthood Pastoral Letter 2 Header

The letter features Planned Parenthood’s RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Reverend Debbie Pitney, Reverend Steve Carlson, Reverend Ken Henry, Reverend Ben Dake, Reverend Melanie Oommen, Reverend Gregory Flint, Reverend Danna Drum Hastings, Reverend Dan Bryant, Reverend Zane Wilson, Reverend Jonathan Weldon, Reverend Jan Fairchild, Reverend Bruce Cameron, and Rabbi Yitzhak Husbands-Hankins.

The letter reads:

Planned Parenthood Pastoral Letter 2 Page 1

Dear Friend,
If you are reading this letter you are probably pregnant or close to someone who is. The people who have signed this letter below come from a variety of religious communities. Our purpose in writing this letter is to support you in whatever course you choose. The presence of the “religious right” has been very strong in its refusal to accept abortion as one of the choices before a woman. We represent religious traditions which all have different opinions about abortion, but we do have some basic understandings that we would like to share with you.

We believe, as religious leaders in our faith communities, that abortion is a morally permissible choice for a woman facing a problem pregnancy. No one thinks abortion is an easy choice. If we lived in a perfect world there might be no problem pregnancies and therefore no difficult choices about abortion. We realize that there are many things that can make a pregnancy difficult. Abortion is chosen for medical, physical, emotional, economic and relational reasons. It is a choice made by women, often in consultation with partners, families and friends. We support you and your ability to choose what is best for you.

We believe, as religious leaders in our faith communities, that ultimately no one can make the choice for or against abortion except the woman herself. No one knows your life as you do. We trust that any decision you make will be made after serious thought and contemplation of the alternatives. You will make the best decision you can. We do not believe that it is appropriate for other persons or other faiths to judge you or the correctness of your decision. God gave us all the ability to think and pray and feel and choose. We are called to make the best decisions we can in our personal circumstances. If you have thoughtfully decided to have an abortion then you should be at peace with your decision.

We believe, as religious leaders in our faith communities, that the decision to have an abortion will not threaten your relationship with God. We believe that God is a participant in the struggles of human life. We believe that God is compassionate and does not expect any of us to lead perfect lives. We believe the biblical record shows us a God who loves human beings regardless of our strengths, skills and aptitudes, and loves us equally despite our failings, mistakes and choices. God is not angry with you and will not punish you for any choice you have or might make. In fact, we believe that God loves you and will be with you helping you find strength and understanding and comfort for living through days of doubt and distress.

We believe, as religious leaders in our faith communities, that your life needs to go on from here, and that you are deserving of support and assistance. We know that the decision to have an abortion is a difficult one. You may wonder from time to time if you made the right choice. You may be sorrowful, doubtful or depressed because of your choice. These are natural emotions. Experiencing this does not mean your decision was a bad one. It may mean that you are a sensitive person. Nevertheless these feelings may also mean that you could benefit from talking with someone about your decision. It is important for you to find peace. If you have bad moments, we encourage you to seek support from professionals. If you think that it would be helpful for you to talk to a minister, Planned Parenthood keeps a list of clergy who would be supportive of you and the decision you have made. They will see you for no charge and not pressure you to become part of their congregations. We want you to have a peaceful road ahead.
God Bless you!

Putting the minds of women to rest will no dounbt bring in more money to the coffers of the blood suckers at Planned Parenthood – using God to do this is beyond disgusting.

But….child killing with abortion is not the only sin that these heretical clergy approve of.

In another letter, called A PASTORAL LETTER A B O U T H E A L T H Y S E X U A L I T Y

Planned Parenthood Clergy Sexuality header

The letter appears to advocate for sexual promiscuity outside the Biblical boundaries of marriage,

Though marriage is a high and holy calling in our traditions, we affirm that unmarried persons are also sexual persons. We rejoice in our capacity to make sexual choices based on conscience and compassion, reason and responsibility,” the letter reads.

Planned Parenthood Clergy Sexuality Page 1

 “The opportunity to bear children is a precious and sacred gift, yet the decision not to reproduce also has deep religious roots. A woman’s right to follow her own conscience concerning birth control and child-bearing, and a man’s obligation to protect her right, are part of what we mean by living lives which are holy.

 “Our wider obligation as religious persons may require limiting births. The well-being of the children we already have and justice in the world may mean that birth control is religious virtue.

 “Finally, the biblical affirmation that we are all created in the “image of God” means that we can accept no double standard. All have the God-given right to lead sexual lives that express love, equality, honesty, commitment, consent, and pleasure,” the alleged Planned Parenthood clergy write.

The best “Choice” Planned Parenthood has ever made removing Pastoral Letter to Patients

Posted in Planned Parenthood Clergy with tags , , , , , , on June 9, 2014 by saynsumthn

Saynsumthn was the first news blog to report how Planned Parenthood was using God to sell abortions with a letter from “Clergy”!

But now it has been removed off the Planned Parenthood website. There still is a cached version available to view here!

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter Header.

In the Pastoral Letter to Patients, Planned Parenthood tells women and girls in a crisis pregnancy that there is nothing in the scriptures that says abortion is wrong and that many clergy think abortion is okay:

The decision to have an abortion is personal. Though your reasons may be complicated and private, you’re not alone. As religious leaders from a number of religious traditions, we’re here to
support you in your decision.

Many people wrongly assume that all religious leaders disapprove of abortion. The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the Scriptures—Jewish or Christian—and there are clergy and people of faith from all denominations who support women making this complex decision.

The beliefs of each person are deserving of respect, and each person deserves care and compassion,
No one should be allowed to force their faith teachings on anyone else.

We believe this decision is yours, made with your doctor and anyone else you choose to bring into the conversation, such as a spouse, partner, parent, or clergy person.”

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter PG 1.Pastoral Letter Page 2

The letter goes on to tell the FUTURE PAYING ABORTION CUSTOMER that, “God loves you and is with you no matter what you decide. You can find strength, understanding, and comfort in that love.”

_After news outlets read this blog and began to talk about it- the abortion giant decided to remove the letter from its site:

PP Pastoral Letter removed

The best “Choice” Planed Parenthood has ever made !

In response, the group Alliance Defending Freedom has offered to purchase Bibles for every Planned Parenthood locations.

In their Open Letter to Cecile Richards, the pro-life group writes, It appears that this letter is no longer available on your website, but an archived version can be found here for your reference (page 3). While I disagree with Planned Parenthood’s exegesis of Scripture, I am not writing to debate that point. Instead, I write to express my agreement with Planned Parenthood, reflected in the publication of this pastoral letter, that for many women their religious beliefs will be very relevant to their decision about whether to have an abortion.

On that common ground, on behalf of Alliance Defending Freedom, I would like to offer Planned Parenthood one free copy of the Bible for every Planned Parenthood facility in the country.

Dear Son: remembering baby Scotland Bansley Riles born at 20 weeks and loved dearly

Posted in Misscariage with tags , , , , , , , , on March 12, 2014 by saynsumthn

At almost 20 weeks pregnant, Tom Riles and his wife lost Scotland Bansley Riles to miscarriage.

Riles said that when they received the news that the baby had died in the womb, they were offered several options – go to a “clinic” to “take care of the situation” or go to the Hospital. He said that they chose the hospital to deliver the baby because of their FAITH. Riles said he was so thankful they did it that way.

He and his wife were placed in a high risk section of the maternity wing so they were not around other babies being born but received a ton of support from friends and family as well as the hospital staff.

On his Life of Dad Show, Riles recounts their sad experience, “As the day went on, it was devastating but she went into labor and had the baby…and that’s why I wanted to tell this story because I wanted people to know that this is an option. The baby was born, we held the baby, the doctor gave the baby to us, and we were with him for about an hour just taking turns holding and singing to him and talking to him and telling about his brother and sister and we were crying, we’re crushed, but at he same time it was beautiful. Even though our son wasn’t alive, life never felt so, I can’t think of the right verb, amazing….parts of it were amazing, to be holding your son there… At the same time you’re thinking about the life that he’s not going to have…so sad but at the same time so powerful knowing and proud knowing that we, especially my wife, did everything she could for that kid, and gave him the same respect and love and support as she did our other two babies that are of course, are alive…and to have no regrets at this point.”

This was originally posted to the Life of Dad Blog:

Dear Son,

I held you on Friday night for the first and last time ever. It was one of the saddest, proudest, most heartbreaking, and beautiful moments of my life. It was an honor to hold you.

I’m proud of you, son. Even though you only made it halfway through the pregnancy, you have left a mark on our family that will last forever. Because of you, I love my wife more than ever. Because of you, I feel a stronger connection with my kids then ever. When I hug them, I feel your presence.

Sadly, I’ll always remember the phone call last week from your mom when she told me that we lost you. I was home with your brother and sister, and I was in shock. Your pregnancy seemed to be the smoothest and most healthy one that your mom had ever had. I did my best to comfort her on the phone, and then we grieved together when you both got home. Our kids didn’t let us cry too much, though, because they kept requesting snacks, more snacks, and more snacks after that.

Usually Friday is a day that I look forward to, but not last Friday. I never shave on Fridays, but this time I did. This was the only day that I would ever hold you…I had to look my best. When we checked into the hospital at 8AM, it was a dark, dreary, and rainy day, just like the feeling in our hearts.

Your mom took medication to start the labor process, and over the next 10 hours, she showed her love and devotion to you as we neared your birth. By the way, your mom is the most incredible and beautiful person I have ever met. I’m so lucky to be with her and call her my wife.

At 8:35PM on Friday, February 28th, you were born. Even though there was no life in your beautiful body, you were full of love, heart, and courage.

ScotlandScotty, that is your older brother, Tommy, blowing out a candle celebrating your life.

ScotlandYour mom held you, and then it was my turn. I felt both happy and devastated to be holding my second son in the palm of my hands. We cried. We told you about your brother and sister. We visualized you running through open fields somewhere, free, happy, and full of life. We sang to you. After singing the final line of “Silent Night” to you… “Sleep in heavenly peace…” we knew that it was time to say goodbye.

You were with us for way too short of a time, but you will be remembered forever. We named you Scotland Bansley Riles, and your mom and I will bring your ashes with us someday when we travel to Scotland. Usually we don’t travel with our kids (they’re a little too crazy), but we want to show you the world.

Our precious Scotty… I miss you more than I’ve ever missed anything. We love you. We will honor you. We will be better parents and people because of you. Thank you.

Love, Dad

IMG_1010Scotty, that is your older brother, Tommy, blowing out a candle celebrating your life.
For anybody that is going through a situation like this, know that you are not alone.

Riles said that he posted this letter and is speaking about this because he said when people go through a miscarriage they feel they are all alone.

NARAL and pro-choice groups angry over pro-life mailing campaign to Texas hospitals and doctors

“We’re making sure that these doctors understand, there will be a ruckus…” Life Dynamics president, Mark Crutcher.

Life Dynamics Inc., a national pro-life organization located in Denton Texas, has contacted members of the Texas medical community to warn them that the abortion lobby is trying to recruit doctors following changes in Texas law requiring doctors who work at abortion clinics to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals.

Following a press release by Life Dynamics about our direct mail campaign on social media and reports in the news, the abortion lobby began lashing out.

NARAL others Upset with LDI Nov 2013

The radically pro-abortion RH Reality Check blog responded by posting a headline which reads, “Anti-Choice Group Sends Graphic Mailers Comparing Abortion Providers to ‘Hired Killers’ “

RH Reality on TX Mailers of LDI

Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics explained the project on the latest episode of his Life Talk show, “What we did is created a post card called Hired Killers. This postcard is designed to discourage doctors from getting involved in abortion. We sent one of these to every doctor’s office in Texas. What we are trying to do is keep the waters stirred because what the abortion industry wants is to recruit these guys and tell them, you can just slide in and you don’t have to raise a big ruckus about it. We’re making sure that these doctors understand, there will be a ruckus and this is just the first shot of the ruckus that’s coming.

“The second thing we did was send a letter to every hospital administrator in Texas. It’s designed to discourage them from granting privileges and be on the lookout for new doctors filing for hospital privileges who are not telling them they are working in an abortion clinic. Before you let them in, you better ask them if they are working in abortion because you don’t want to drag this hospital into the abortion controversy.”

TX Mailers LIfe Talk Dec 2013 Life Dynamics

NARAL Pro-choice America has responded by posting an image of our Hospital letter on facebook along with scribbled comments.

NARAL TX PRoject 2

Friends on NARAL’s facebook page admitted to calling Life Dynamics to express their views and posted, “The anti’s are utterly ruthless, they will stop at nothing.”

Another writes, “Unfortunately, this will work because of religious peer pressure.”

One pro-choice supporter accused Life Dynamics of trying to sabotage the campaign of radically pro-abortion Wendy Davis who running for Governor of Texas.

While another posted, “These people need to be outed.”

Mark Crutcher2013

Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics said he sent the post cards to reinforce to physicians that, “Elective abortions are not healthcare and have nothing to do with the practice of medicine. They are contract killings.”

According to, Crutcher “If a doctor or hospital is going to get sucked into the abortion vortex, at least they will know what they are doing.”

Crutcher says that the reason abortionists do not have hospital admitting privileges is because , “The competence and character of practitioners who work at abortion clinics is inevitably substandard and hospitals don’t want to have their reputations damaged by the stigma that accompanies both abortion and the people who do them. In addition, Hospitals realize that any link to abortion creates the possibility of protests and boycotts and may cause some patients and physicians to reject the hospital.”

Crutcher concludes, “Fortunately, the kind of monsters who are willing to snuff-out innocent and defenseless human lives for money are rare. This letter and these postcards will guarantee that any doctor or hospital that gets sucked in by the lies of the abortion industry will do so with their eyes wide open.”

In an editorial letter to a local paper, Brad Pitt’s mother, Jane Pitts states, “Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama — a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”
