White doctor, Lester Minto who performs abortions in Texas has admitted that he aborts primarily Hispanic babies.

For 35 years I had a clinic where I saw women and took care of their reproductive needs, but mostly terminating pregnancies,” Dr. Lester Minto says.

Lester Minto

Ninety-eight percent were Hispanics,”Minto told NPR radio, “I would go days where I wouldn’t speak English because they were all Spanish speakers — which is great.

Minto, who says he averaged more than 4000 each year, admits that he has had emergencies related to his abortions. Two of his patients have had to go to the hospital, he says.

Reproductive Services Harlingen

According to the most recent stats, 64 percent of babies aborted in Texas were Black or Hispanic.

24.9% of babies aborted in Texas were Black.

38.7% of babies aborted in Texas were Hispanic.

TEXAS 2010 Abortion Stats REAL 2010

The stats, published by the CDC , reports that there were 76,778 total abortions performed in Texas in 2010.

23,548 (or 30.7 percent) were non-Hispanic white babies, 19,139 (or 24.9 percent) were non-Hispanic black babies, 29,771 (or 38.8 percent) were Hispanic babies, and 4,320 (or 5.6 percent) were babies of other races or ethnicity.

That is an increase from the CDC Abortion Surveillance report published on Nov. 23, 2012.

The CDC Abortion Surveillance Report dated November 29, 2013 also reveals that in 2010, 56.7% of abortions reported to the CDC nationwide were done on Hispanic and Black women.

CDC 2010 Black Hispanic Abortions TOTAL

RacialTargeting

A Texas pro-life organization says that abortion clinics are strategically located in minority communities. The group, Life Dynamics, Inc. has published a report using zip code analysis to document their claims.

Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, who wrote the report, said that he believes abortion is about eugenics, and his research proves this claim, “This confirms what we have said all along, that abortion is not about woman’s rights or reproductive freedom it is simply about eugenics. We not only documented the eugenic targeting of minorities in our film, Maafa21 but also in a report we published in 2011. Research we produced for our report, Racial Profiling by Planned Parenthood and the American Abortion Lobby, clearly shows that a majority of family planning centers market abortion to minorities by locating their centers in minority communities.”

Maafa21 DVD NEW WEBSITE

Crutcher continues, “Maafa21 cites a study conducted by three American university researchers into the criteria used to decide the placement of U.S. population control facilities. Their finding was that the primary consideration in making this determination is not poverty but the percentage of blacks in the area. Historically, the population control movement’s eugenic efforts have been primarily focused on the African-American community and that was the underlying theme of Maafa 21. In our most recent research, however, we have seen unmistakable evidence that the family planning establishment is also ratcheting up its efforts to deal with the Hispanic population.

Life Dynamics identified 116 ZIP codes nationwide with more than one population control facility. Of those, 84 were disproportionately black and/or Hispanic.

Crutcher’s report revealed that in Texas alone, 94 zip codes showed either an abortion facility or a Planned Parenthood abortion-referral clinic located there and 72 percent of the zip codes have populations that are disproportionately black and/or Hispanic.

Texas abortion doctor who won’t re-open following court decision on Texas pro-life laws – plays media like a fiddle

Lester Minto

Abortionist Lester Minto knows he won’t be able to reopen his Reproductive Services abortion clinic in Harlingen after a federal appeals court upheld tough new abortion restrictions in Texas.

Reproductive Services Harlingen

He tells the Associated Press that he won’t be silenced.

Despite the fact that Minto’s abortion clinic has been closed because his clinic cannot comply with the new state law requiring doctors that perform abortions to have hospitals admitting privileges, the abortionist says that he has kept his clinic’s phone line active.

Minto told the AP that a recent check found messages from five women, including a 12-year-old girl who he said had been raped traveling through Mexico and illegally crossed into the U.S.

Now…one must wonder why, at that point the AP did not ask Minto if he reported the rape of that little girl to police.

Life Dynamics, a national pro-life organization in Denton Texas has documented well how abortion is a tool used by pedophiles to cover for their crimes.

Only a few weeks ago, the parents of an incest victim were arrested using abortion to cover rape in West Virginia.

Nope…instead of concern for the 12 year old rape victim, the AP is being played as a fiddle to promote the abortion mantra. They published this statement from the abortionist, “So she can’t go up north. She’s forced to carry this pregnancy because of these laws.”

Let’s recap – the Texas State Legislature passes a law that says that abortionists must be able to admit women who may be injured to a local hospital and the entire abortion industry goes basaltic.

Then….this Texas abortionist, who obviously does not have admitting privileges, receives media attention because he has to close his abortion clinic. The media, never investigates WHY this so-called “protector of women’s rights” would be refused hospital admitting privileges, instead they just shower him with publicity and sympathy.

Then when he mentions that a 12 year old was RAPED and pregnant and in need of an abortion, the AP never asks why he has referred the child to an abortion clinic rather than a police station…see a trend here?

Just a few days ago, another Texas abortionist was sued for his alleged “safe and legal” abortion.
DouglasKarpen

Abortionist Douglas Karpen who runs the Aaron Woman’s Clinic in Houston Texas is being sued by a former patient for a botched abortion. The patient claims she suffered a torn uterus, bleeding and extensive pain. The law suit claims medical negligence on the part of Karpen.

According to reports, the abortion was performed when the patient was 22 weeks pregnant.

The suit claims “permanent injuries” were caused by abortionist Karpen and the patient “continues to suffer as a result of medical negligence.”

The legal document says her injuries were discovered by another doctor who also found internal bleeding.

Karpen Mel Mendoza 2014 lawsuit

The media is good at compartmentalizing abortion and keeping the long list of tragic horror stories away from stories that portray to defend so-called “women’s rights.” After all, if they show you the full picture, you might, like the recent Appeals Court did, think the Texas law was …well…reasonable.

Now, back to Minto….

Are we really supposed to produce crocodile tears for this killer of innocent babies not good enough to secure hospital admitting privileges? Really?

I ask – just who is being played the fool here? I believe it is the AP.

Minto has proclaimed in the past said he would keep doing abortions “whether that means under the cover of a mesquite tree or on a shrimp boat or going to Mexico” where abortions are also illegal.

I didn’t say I’d stop doing abortions. I’m not going to give this up…And I’m not going to abandon girls,” Operation Rescue reports that Minto told a local newspaper.

Perhaps Minto is using the AP to remind women that he will continue to do abortions (illegally) and pocket his profits – just suggesting this as a possibility. But – has anyone asked Minto? Certainly not the Associated Press.

The media is purposely spinning this story so the public will believe that all these abortion clinics closing are just being picked on by the state. In reality, Minto and the Whole Woman’s abortion clinics, which closed earlier this month, cannot comply with simple health standards – Doesn’t that concern anyone? Apparently not the AP.

Abortion and Planned Parenthood clinics dropping like flies

On the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion, Life News reported the closure of 1,500 abortion clinics over the past 22 years.

In 1991 there were 2,176 surgical abortion clinics nationwide; today there are 660 and falling. Over 1,500 abortion clinics, 70% of the total, have closed their doors for good.

In 2012, an average of 7 abortion clinics closed each month.

That trend continues. Just this month several abortion clinics and Planned Parenthood’s have announced they will be closing following restrictive state laws:

OHIO

Oct of 2013, Ohio Right to Life confirmed that the Cleveland Center for Women’s Health, owned by late-term abortionist Martin Ruddock, has officially closed. This is the third abortion clinic in Ohio to close its doors in the past 6 months. Sources cite Ohio Right to Life’s late-term abortion ban law as the main reason for the clinic’s closure and for Ruddock leaving Ohio.

CCN-Columbus
On August 8,2013 Life News Reported that The city of Toledo is finally abortion free as the state of Ohio has closed down the second of two abortion facilities that have closed up shop this year.

Ohio Right to Life obtained documents issued by the Ohio Department of Health relating to a Toledo area abortion clinic violating state regulations. Capital Care Network of Toledo was provided notice by state health officials of its noncompliance, which according to state law, will result in the abortion provider closing in order to protect pregnant women’s health.

TEXAS:

Abortionist Howard Novick says new ‪abortion‬ restrictions in Texas could force him to close the Houston abortion clinic he opened in 1980. He says he doesn’t have the more than $1 million required to convert his office into a surgical center with wide corridors after a law passed by the state to [protect women. Novick runs the AAA Concerned Women’s Center child killing in Houston.

Lester Minto

Texas abortionist Lester Minto says he is preparing to shut down his Reproductive Services abortion clinic in Harlingen. He said new state abortion restrictions prevent him from performing abortions.

Reproductive Services Harlingen

Lester Minto told the news media that he performs abortions on women who are less than 16 weeks pregnant. That falls within the 20 week threshold of the new law. Still, he said his Harlingen abortion clinic will shut down in 90 days.

routh-street-womens-clinic

The Routh Street Women’s Abortion Clinic off the North Central Expressway in Dallas, Texas is one of six licensed abortion facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
A clinic administrator, who refused to give her name, spoke to CBS 11 on the phone. “We’re devastated, just like everyone else,” she said. If and when the bill takes effect, it would require abortion clinics to meet the same standard as ambulatory surgical centers. The Routh Street clinic, which serves at least 4,000 patients a year, would close, unable to afford $3 million dollar in necessary upgrades, said the administrator.

In McAllen Texas, Amy Hagstrom Miller, president and CEO of Whole Woman’s Health a chain of 5 abortion clinics in the state said she will likely close her clinic because architects have estimated it would cost $1.4 million to retrofit a 4,000-square-foot facility to meet all the requirements that come with transforming it into a surgical center as required by a new Texas law. Since the clinic across is not large enough, she would have to move. To build a new facility would cost $3 million, she said.

A Houston abortion doctor told Fox News that when the Texas abortion laws go into effect he may be forced to close.
Bernard Rosefeld

The clinic the way it is – is really not set up to be upgraded. If I wanted to and I had the money I would have to build a surgical center which apparently could be $3 million dollars. So, no, that’s not going to happen” ~ Abortionist Bernard Rosenfeld, Houston Women’s Clinic

Virginia:
NOVA Women’s Healthcare clinic in Fairfax City that performed more ‪abortions‬ than any other location in Virginia has closed, and it’s unclear whether it will reopen elsewhere. According to Operation Rescue, Nova Women’s Health Center in Fairfax shut down because of its own shoddy treatment of women and failure to pay back rent. According to reports, Eaton Place Associates, LLC, filed suit against Nova’s owner, abortionist Mi Yong Kim, in 2011 seeking to terminate its lease because the abortion business created a nuisance. Operation Rescue worked with local activists to document medical emergencies at Nova and filed a complaint against Kim, who continued to operate the abortion business even though she had her own medical license revoked in 2007 after killing a patient during an abortion. Since then, Kim transferred ownership a family member and settled the suit with the landlord. However, in April, Eaton Place Associates, again sued Nova, for $95,000 in back rent that the abortion business had failed to pay, prompting the killing center to finally close.

NORTH CAROLINA:

In August, A North Carolina abortion clinic has voluntarily shut down for good.

The Durham-based Baker Clinic for Women voluntarily surrendered its license last week just as Asheville’s abortion facility reopened.

Dr. John Baker, who owned the clinic, surrendered the clinic’s certificate to operate six weeks after the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services temporarily revoked its license for failing to meet state abortion clinic standards.

The North Carolina state health department’s Acute and Home Care Licensure and Certification Section notified Abortionist John Baker July 5 that his certificate to operate The Baker Clinic for Women in Durham was suspended.

Baker Clinic

According to the notice, the clinic failed to ensure quality control in blood banking. Specifically, the notice said the clinic didn’t perform quality control tests for more than 108 patients who had received Rh factor blood tests and it failed to follow manufacturer’s instructions for the test, among other problems.

On the same day the Durham facility closed, Femcare, Inc., the state’s only ambulatory surgical abortion clinic, reopened after its suspension late last month.
We previously reported:
femcare

The state Department of Health and Human Services suspended the license of a city abortion clinic, citing nearly two dozen safety violations discovered in a recent inspection.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday that it has suspended the license of Femcare, an abortion clinic in Asheville, for two dozen serious health and safety violations discovered during a routine inspection on July 18 and 19th.

This action comes just two days after Gov. Pat McCrory signed a law that will require abortion clinics to meet the standards of an outpatient surgery center. Ironically, it was thought that Femcare would be the only North Carolina abortion clinic to meet safety standards under the new law, but it seems it that thinking was grossly in error. Femcare was last inspected 6½ years ago. The closure is not directly related to the new law.

Operation Rescue reports this is the 42nd abortion clinic to close nationally in 2013. Clinic safety regulations have contributed to many of the closings. This number far eclipses the 24 abortion clinics that closed in 2012. Since 1991, over 70% of all abortion clinics in the U.S. have closed.

Charlotte’s Preferred Women’s Health Center, the first of the three to shut down, reopened earlier this summer.Though there is a Planned Parenthood in Durham, it does not provide abortions. There are currently 16 facilities offering abortion services in the state.

MISSISSIPPI:

Pink

In Mississippi, the state’s only abortion clinic may have to close because of a law similar to what is being proposed in Wisconsin. A job ad in large bold type is featured on the Jackson (Miss.) Women’s Health Organization‘s website asking for physicians with admitting privileges to apply. In September, the clinic applied to about seven nearby hospitals but was rejected by all of them.

“The law is unfair; it was done just to close us down,” said Betty Thompson, who is a counselor at the Mississippi clinic. The clinic is still open because the law is being appealed in the courts.

MICHIGAN:

Pro-lifers in Michigan are celebrating the final closure of an abortion clinic after 20 years of operation. The Dearborn, American Family Planning abortion clinic, closed in April after the abortionist Noon-Nahm Ann announced that he was retiring. The killing center was one of ten Michigan clinics closed or kept from re-opening in the past year and a half.

ALABAMA

Judge Joseph L. Boohaker issued a permanent injunction today barring abortionist Bruce Norman from operating an abortion clinic at the location of the former New Woman All Women abortion facility in Birmingham, Alabama. Judge Hoohaker also enjoined clinic owner Diane Derzis from referring abortion patients to the Birmingham office. The injunction should close the illegal abortion business permanently.

The decision was the result of a law suit filed by the Alabama Department of Public Health alleging that Derzis and Norman were operating an illegal abortion clinic without proper licensing on the site of an abortion clinic that had been closed due to the hospitalization of 3 abortion patients in one day and the subsequent discovery of 76-pages of health code deficiencies that presented a danger to the public.

OHIO

An abortion clinic in Toledo blames the new law for its closure last month. The only other clinic in the Northwest Ohio city could close by the end of this month.

Last month the parking lot at Toledo’s Center for Choice was busy with cars; inside, women talked and waited their turn with the doctor. When the media visited a couple weeks ago the parking lot was empty. This clinic performed nearly 15 hundred abortions a year.

With the Center for Choice shut down, the remaining abortion clinic’s transfer contract with the university hospital expires at the end of this month.

If it ends up closing, the closest clinic for Toledo area residents will be in Detroit – about 60 miles away.

Another Story reports:

Two of Ohio’s 13 licensed abortion clinics have closed in recent months, and a third is expected to shut down in the coming weeks. More closings are possible.

Center for Choice

The Center for Choice in Toledo, in operation since 1983, recently shut its doors after the clinic failed to obtain a transfer agreement with the publicly funded University of Toledo Medical Center. A state Health Department inspection this spring found the clinic actually had not had a transfer agreement since July 2010.

Health inspectors turned up several other violations, including failure to combat possible infections and to keep operating-room equipment — some of which had rust and mold — clean and safe, blank prescription forms already signed by a doctor, IV bags full of expired medicine, and 44 syringes containing an unidentified clear liquid.

CCN-Columbus

Toledo’s remaining clinic, Capital Care Women’s Center, expects to close when its transfer agreement with the same Toledo hospital expires on Wednesday.

A third clinic, Capital Care Network of Cuyahoga Falls near Akron, closed in April after failing a state health and safety inspection. That facility’s state license to dispense drugs had expired the year before and its federal license a year before that. The date on its bottle of disinfectant was more than a year old, some patients’ vital signs were not checked before a procedure, informed consent was not obtained from some of the patients, drugs were improperly stored and administered, and the transfer agreement was incomplete.

OTHERS Not All Closed:

MICHIGAN

FHC

In Sept of 2013, Feminine Health Care abortion clinic of Flint, owned by Alberto Hodari, where abortionist Theodore Roumell runs the business, is now closed, according to local pro-life activists !

Since November of 2011, 10 abortion mills in Michigan have shut their doors.

Theodore Roumell

The abortionist, 78-year-old Theodore Roumell, who has open formal complaints against him, has been doing abortions at the Feminine Health Care abortion clinic after Hodari retired. The Flint abortion clinic was in non-compliance with the State of Michigan. Both the medical waste and free-standing surgical license had expired, and following open formal complaints against the clinic, the abortion mill is no longer open, says pro-lifer Lynn Mills.

Texas Abortionists Use Abortion Pill Scare Tactics to Deflect From Their Shoddy Care

WomenDieAbIllegal

McAllen, TX – Abortionist Lester Minto is defiant concerning new safety standards passed by the Texas Legislature last week, especially concerning the new standards for dispensing abortion pills. He operates Reproductive Services, an abortion clinic in the Rio Grand Valley community of Harlingen that does 1,500-2,000 abortion per year, according to a New York Times story published on July 13, 2013.

If forced to comply with the new law, Minto says he is willing to seek other means of continuing to provide abortions, even if his substandard clinic must close.

Lester Minto

Minto, who called the Texas abortion law “an insult to women’s intelligence,” said he would keep doing abortions “whether that means under the cover of a mesquite tree or on a shrimp boat or going to Mexico” where abortions are also illegal.

“I didn’t say I’d stop doing abortions. I’m not going to give this up…And I’m not going to abandon girls,” Minto told a local newspaper.

“Minto’s comments show his complete disregard for the health and lives of women and his insistence on subjecting women to substandard practices as if she did not deserve anything better,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “Being treated by abortionists as something less than a human being is the real insult to the intelligence of women.”

The New York Times and other mainstream news outlets are raising concerns that in Texas, if the new law shuts down abortion clinics that cannot comply with new safety regulations, women would make the short trip across the border to Mexico where abortion-causing pills are readily available over the counter as many women already have been doing for years.

Usually medical abortions are done using a cocktail of mifepristone (RU486) and misoprostol (Cytotec). The patient takes one dose drugs at the abortion clinic then the rest at home, where she has the abortion. There is no monitoring done on the woman, who is not at the clinic during the painful abortion process that resembles a miscarriage.

However, even some abortion clinics often just use Cytotec to simulate uterine contractions and cause an abortion in early pregnancy. Cytotec is a drug originally developed to treat stomach ulcers which has been used off-label by abortionists for years despite manufacturer warnings because it is cheap, if not particularly safe. It is known to cause unpredictable and sometimes violent contractions. In fact, Hispanic have become so familiar with over-the-counter use of Cytotec that they refer to it as “Star Pills” due to the tablets’ multi-sided shape.

Minto further reflected an attitude that women don’t deserve high medical standards when he insensitively told ABC News, “It’s kind of like a cheap cure for a radiator leak. Its efficacy rate is about 30 percent when used alone and improperly. But even though I don’t approve of it, I can’t criticize it. I would probably try the same if I were in a situation like these women.”

Minto may be the newest darling of the pro-abortion media, but his record is not clean. In 1996, Minto was disciplined for allowing staff to practice without adequate supervision including “allowing a physician’s assistant to utilize pre-signed prescription and to telephone in prescriptions for patients without consulting with [Minto].” This is a practice that helped land Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell and several of his associates who masqueraded as “doctors” in trouble with the law.

Amy Hagstrom Miller

Amy Hagstrom-Miller, who operates another Rio Grand Valley abortion clinic in McAllen, Texas, known as Whole Women’s Health, is also opposed to the new abortion pill standards and has opines that women will seek to obtain abortion pills in Mexico or at flea markets if her clinic is forced to close.

While abortionist worry about the “unmonitored” use of abortion drugs should abortion clinics that cannot meet the minimum safety requirements be forced to close, that concern seems shallow considering the current way abortion pills are dispensed…

Hagstrom Miller admits that her McAllen abortion clinic now uses abortionists that fly in from other states, making supervision and follow-up by a licensed physician nearly impossible.
