For Kenyan parents who want three or more children, the United Nations has a message: Your desires cross ours.

Life Dynamics, a national pro-life organization located in Denton, Texas, calls this approach pure eugenics at work.

This information is from a recently published report by the Kenyan government and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) entitled “Kenya Population Situation Analysis” which says that the demand for children in Kenya is too high and needs to be reduced. The Kenyan Government through the National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) and Population Studies Research Institute (PSRI) with the support of UNFPA undertook the population situation analysis.

According to an article published by Religion Today, the 300 page report basically says that women in Kenya want more children than the UN and the Kenyan government deem desirable for the country’s development.

World News Service reporter, Jamie Dean writes in the article that the report flatly states Kenyan parents’ “demand” for children is too high: “The demand for children is still high and is unlikely to change unless substantial changes in desired family sizes are achieved among the poor in general … thus the challenge is how to reduce the continued high demand for children.”

Life Dynamics says that it is not surprised that the United States funded UNFPA would conclude that a reduction in African children is a solution for Kenya.

According to the UNFPA website, the goals of the United Nations Population Fund is: achieving universal access to sexual and reproductive health (including family planning) and promoting reproductive rights.

Maafa21 with DVD

As we documented in our film Maafa21 Black Genocide in 21st Century America, although eugenics and population control efforts are largely financed by the United States, they are carried out by the United Nations in cooperation with their partners at Planned Parenthood and other population control organizations.
NSSM200

According to Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics and producer of Maafa21, “ In 1974, the National Security Council issued a document that was intended to outline official U.S. policies on world population. It was called the National Security Study Memorandum 200, or NSSM 200, and was formulated in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development, the U.S. State Department, the Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency. One of its goals was to establish a strategy for reducing the populations of third-world countries so that the United States could have increased access to their natural resources, particularly minerals and metals. Among the conclusions of NSSM 200 was that, “no country has reduced its population growth without resorting to abortion”. The authors of NSSM 200 then identified three non-governmental agencies that would be funded to carry-out the government’s population-control agenda in the targeted countries. One of those agencies was Planned Parenthood.

Ravenholt sterilize 25 percent

According to research we uncovered for Maafa21, three years after NSSM200 was issued, the Director of the United States Office of Population, Dr. Reimert T. Ravenholt publically stated that it was the US government’s intention to sterilize one-fourth of the world’s female population.

According to Revanholt, one of the driving forces behind this campaign, was the need to protect American financial and commercial interests.

Ravenholt UN PlannedParenthood

Crutcher explains, “Ravenholt said that some foreign governments were refusing to give the United States permission to come into their country and control their population. He said that, in those cases, the plan was to be carried out by two private organizations, with an enormous amount of financial support from the American government. When asked by a St Louis newspaper to name the two organizations, he said that they were the United Nations Fund for Population Activities and Planned Parenthood.”

Guttmacher VP AES article

Then, in 1970, Planned Parenthood president Alan Guttmacher, who was a former vice-president of the American Eugenics Society, told Boston Magazine that the United Nations should be the organization the United States used to carry out population control programs worldwide.

Guttmacher explained his reasoning, “ If you’re going to curb population, it’s extremely important not to have it done by the dammed Yankees, but by the UN. Because the thing is, then it’s not considered genocide. If the United States goes to the black man or the yellow man and says slow down your reproduction rate, we’re immediately suspected of having ulterior motives to keep the white man dominant in the world. If you can send in a colorful UN force, you’ve got much better leverage.”

GuttmacherColorfulUNForce

As Maafa21 further documents, black civil rights leaders warned America and the world that there was a deliberate effort to control the black population.

This agenda was clearly spelled out by Jesse Jackson in 1977, when he stated, “It is strange that they chose to start talking about population control at the same time that Black people in America and people of color around the world are demanding their rightful place as human citizens and their rightful share of the material wealth in the world.”

JJ It is Strange

Crutcher says that Life Dynamics documented in Maafa21 how the United Nations and the U.S.A would refuse to assist African nations unless they accept birth control. Even after disasters, Maafa21 documented that there was no anesthesia or bandages – but there were crates and crates of birth control pills and condoms.

Brian Clowes, Director of Education and Research For Human Life International, and an expert in Maafa21 responded, “I doubt if the same disasters hit a middle class white area that the first response would be condoms and birth control. Why it is that our commitment to birth control in African nations is going up every year, while our commitment to authentic economic development is dropping? We see less clean drinking water funding, less school funding, see less medical clinic funding.

As Dean writes in his article, “UN efforts to discourage population growth in many regions aren’t new, but the findings of the Kenya report are striking. It doesn’t just call for broader access to birth control, it faults Kenyans—particularly poor ones—for desiring more children than the UN or Kenyan government deem best. “The achievement of [lowering fertility] is complicated by differences between individual fertility preferences and desirable fertility levels,” the report states.

“While the report doesn’t call for the kind of government-enforced quotas the Chinese government has imposed on its citizens for over 30 years, it does recommend “education” efforts to persuade Kenyans to have fewer children. Meanwhile, the UN, USAID, and dozens of non-profit groups spend millions to offer family planning services in Kenya each year. Planned Parenthood distributed 1.3 million condoms in Kenya in 2011 alone. (Surgical abortion remains illegal in Kenya, except in cases where the mother’s health is endangered.) And while the UN and other groups might persuade some women to have fewer children, a more important challenge remains: Working toward decent living conditions for the children who do arrive. Though USAID has spent millions on worthy efforts in Kenya, the group’s spending on health programs in 2011 was revealing. The organization reported spending $60,000 for nutrition. The budget for family planning and reproductive services: $10.9 million.

Crutcher concludes, “This kind of eugenics by the United Nations and their population control conspirators is not helping the black family but simply turning large poor families into small poor families.

Ex Planned Parenthood leader and Eugenics Review writer eyes African Countries for population control

Posted in Abortion, African Countries, African Nations, Eugenics, Malcolm Potts, Planned Parenthood in African Nations, Population Control, Population Council, United Nations with tags , , , , , , , , , , on May 12, 2011 by saynsumthn

Malcolm Potts was the first Medical Director of the eugenics founded International Planned Parenthood Federation and is known for introducing family planning methods into scores of developing countries. Potts once said that “Abortion is an essential element in human fertility control…The combination of abortion contraception is the combination which all human communities always used to control their fertility.”
In addition, Potts was a frequent writer in the “Eugenics Review

But a May 11,2011 article published on NPR’s blog and entitled: Foreign Policy: Without Birth Control, Planet Doomed (Written by:Malcolm Potts and Martha Campbell) states that , “ Across much of the world, women are having fewer children, but in African countries, the decline is far slower than expected. Part of this shift was supposed to come from preferences about family size and better access to family planning to make that possible. Sadly, however, that access hasn’t come… Rapid population growth is bad news for the continent, as it will likely outstrip gains in economic development. It’s also a wake-up call: If the world doesn’t begin investing far more seriously in family planning, much of our progress fighting poverty in sub-Saharan Africa over the last half-century could be lost…Some of the countries in sub-Saharan Africa, especially those making up the Sahel bordering the Sahara desert, face particularly somber demographic problems. In Niger, the rate of population growth exceeds economic growth. Twenty percent of women there have 10 or more children, and only one in 1,000 women completes secondary school. Already, one-third of children in Niger are malnourished, and global warming will further undermine agricultural output in the desertifying Sahel. Even if the current birth rate is halved by 2050, the population will still explode — from 14 million today to 53 million by 2050. If the birth rate continues at current levels, the population could reach a totally unsustainable 80 million. Unless there is an immediate commitment to family planning, the scale of human suffering over the next three decades in the Sahel could equal or exceed that caused by HIV/AIDS in the past 30 years.…Ironically, the future problem stems from today’s success: Women are not having more children than in the past, but fewer of them are dying….Persistently high fertility yields some striking statistics, according to Babatunde Osotimehin, the executive director of the U.N. Population Fund (UNFPA). Last month he called for urgent action to meet the needs of “some 215 million women in developing countries, who want to plan and space their births, [but] do not have access to modern contraception.” He added that “neglect of sexual and reproductive health results in an estimated 80 million unintended pregnancies; 22 million unsafe abortions; and 358,000 deaths from maternal causes — including 47,000 deaths from unsafe abortion.”…after much attention to population control in the 1970s, interest began to wane in the 1990s….the word “population” became tainted with the idea that improving access to birth control was tantamount to coercion. The term “family planning” was replaced by the broader phrase “reproductive health.” In the United States, in particular, passions over abortion eroded support for contraceptives assistance overseas.…When a modest investment was made in family planning in Kenya in the 1980s, for example, the average family size fell from eight to five. When the focus was taken off family planning, this decline stalled and even started rising again. …We’ve now been warned. If measures are taken now, we could still keep the 2050 world population at around 8 billion. We have to ensure that the population can be slowed by purely voluntary means and within a human rights framework. We need to galvanize the political will to make it happen and invest now so that family planning options are universally available. Fail to do so, and we may give birth to a new, difficult era of poverty instead.”

In 1967 president, Lyndon B. Johnson made this statement LBJ Faces up a Crisis: Johnson also stated, “Nations with food deficits must put more of their resources into voluntary family planning programs.” ( SOURCE: Lewiston Evening Journal – Feb 2, 1967 , from Johnson’s 1967 State of the Union Address )

On December 10, 1974, the United States National Security Council promulgated National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM-200), also called The Kissinger Report. This document explicitly laid out a detailed strategy by which the United States would aggressively promote population control in developing nations in order to regulate (or have better access to) the natural resources of these countries.

In order to protect U.S. commercial interests, NSSM-200 cited a number of factors that could interrupt the smooth flow of materials from lesser-developed countries, LDCs as it called them, to the United States, including a large population of anti-imperialist youth, who must, according to NSSM-200, be limited by population control. The document identified 13 nations by name that would be primary targets of U.S.-funded population control efforts.

According to NSSM-200, elements of the implementation of population control programs could include: a) the legalization of abortion; b) financial incentives for countries to increase their abortion, sterilization and contraception-use rates; c) indoctrination of children; and d) mandatory population control, and coercion of other forms, such as withholding disaster and food aid unless an LDC implements population control programs.

While the CIA and Departments of State and Defense have issued hundreds of papers on population control and national security, the U.S. government has never renounced NSSM-200, but has only amended certain portions of its policy. NSSM-200, therefore, remains the foundational document on population control issued by the United States government.

Then….In 1969, Alan Guttmacher as then President of Planned Parenthood-World Population and former Vice President of the American Eugenics Society, said this: “ I would like to give our voluntary means of population control full opportunity in the next 10 to 12 years. Then , if these don’t succeed, we may have to go into some kind of coercion, not worldwide, but possibly in such places as India, Pakistan, and Indonesia, where pressures are the greatest…There is no question that birth rates can be reduced all over the world if legal abortion is introduced…” ( SOURCE: Family Planning: The needa and the Methods, by: Alan F. Guttmacher; The American Journal of Nursing, Vol. 69, No. 6. (June, 1969) PP. 1229-1234)

Followed by this statement, made by Planned Parenthood and the Eugenics Society’s Alan Guttmacher in a 1970 interview with the Baltimore Magazine ,
Our birth rate has come down since we last talked.. I think we’ve hit a plateau- the figure’s not likely to drop much more unless there is more legal abortion. , or abortion on request as we call it…My own feeling is that we’ve got to pull out all the stops and involve the United Nations…If you’re going to curb population, it’s extremely important not to have it done by the dammed Yankees, but by the UN.

After years of “Sending in a colorful UN Force” and “Implementing NSSM200, the Eugenic master plan seems to be failing. In the spotlight are African Nations. According to a recent report by the United Nations: the New York Times is showcasing the “grisly numbers.”

In the NY Times article: U.N. Forecasts 10.1 Billion People by Century’s End, they report that “the population of the world, long expected to stabilize just above 9 billion in the middle of the century, will instead keep growing and may hit 10.1 billion by the year 2100.”

And who is the main culprit? The NY Times and the UN Report continue:
Growth in Africa remains so high that the population there could more than triple in this century, rising from today’s one billion to 3.6 billion, the report said — a sobering forecast for a continent already struggling to provide food and water for its people.

And just whom does the New York Times go to for a response, none other than the Eugenics based Population Council: Frederic Osborn was a founding member of the American Eugenics Society and co-founder of the Population Council along with John D. Rockefeller. In 1969, the Population Council’s President, Bernard Berelson, published an article suggesting that if voluntary methods of birth control were not successful, it may become necessary for the government to put a “fertility control agent” in the water supplies of “urban” neighborhoods.

Ever heard of John C. Cutler? He was the author of the controversial Guatemala syphilis study he served as both assistant surgeon general of the U.S. Public Health Service and deputy director of the Pan American Health Organization. The US recently apologized for Cutler’s actions after it was exposed that U.S. government medical researchers intentionally infected hundreds of people in Guatemala, including institutionalized mental patients, with gonorrhea and syphilis without their knowledge or permission more than 60 years ago.Cutler’s wife , Eliese S. Cutler, told the University of Pittsburgh that John understood the importance of population control – which she called, one of her husband’s passions. John C. Cutler’s wife admitted that she has served on several boards, including Planned Parenthood, an organization whose founders (Margaret Sanger) , past presidents, and many board members were seeped in eugenics ideals which are very racist.. Eliese and her husband John both contributed to the Population Council .

So- that VERY same Population Council , now the “expert” on Population Control Issues had this to say to the NY Times:
“Every billion more people makes life more difficult for everybody — it’s as simple as that,” said John Bongaarts, a demographer at the Population Council, a research group in New York. “Is it the end of the world? No. Can we feed 10 billion people? Probably. But we obviously would be better off with a smaller population.”

The article continues:
The director of the United Nations population division, Hania Zlotnik, said the world’s fastest-growing countries, and the wealthy Western nations that help finance their development, face a choice about whether to renew their emphasis on programs that encourage family planning.
Though they were a major focus of development policy in the 1970s and 1980s, such programs have stagnated in many countries, caught up in ideological battles over abortion, sex education and the role of women in society. Conservatives have attacked such programs as government meddling in private decisions, and in some countries, Catholic groups fought widespread availability of birth control. And some feminists called for less focus on population control and more on empowering women.
Over the past decade, foreign aid to pay for contraceptives — $238 million in 2009 — has barely budged, according to United Nations estimates. The United States has long been the biggest donor, but the budget compromise in Congress last month cut international family planning programs by 5 percent.
“The need has grown, but the availability of family planning services has not,” said Rachel Nugent, an economist at the Center for Global Development in Washington, a research group.
Dr. Zlotnik said in an interview that the revised numbers were based on new forecasting methods and the latest demographic trends. But she cautioned that any forecast looking 90 years into the future comes with many caveats.
That is particularly so for some fast-growing countries whose populations are projected to skyrocket over the next century. For instance, Yemen, a country whose population has quintupled since 1950, to 25 million, would see its numbers quadruple again, to 100 million, by century’s end, if the projections prove accurate. Yemen already depends on food imports and faces critical water shortages.
In Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, the report projects that population will rise from today’s 162 million to 730 million by 2100. Malawi, a country of 15 million today, could grow to 129 million, the report projected.

The implicit, and possibly questionable, assumption behind these numbers is that food and water will be available for the billions yet unborn, and that potential catastrophes including climate change, wars or epidemics will not serve as a brake on population growth. “It is quite possible for several of these countries that are smallish and have fewer resources, these numbers are just not sustainable,” Dr. Zlotnik said.
Well-designed programs can bring down growth rates even in the poorest countries. Provided with information and voluntary access to birth-control methods, women have chosen to have fewer children in societies as diverse as Bangladesh, Iran, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

AND
“West and Central Africa are the two big regions of the world where the fertility transition is happening, but at a snail’s pace,” said John F. May, a World Bank demographer.

According to the United Nation’s report, High-fertility countries are mostly concentrated in Africa (39 out of the 55 countries in the continent have high fertility), but there are also nine in Asia, six in Oceania and four in Latin America.

It is always interesting to me how African nations are the culprits of the upcoming disaster of population explosions. Maybe this is why in America the Eugenics Founded Planned Parenthood Group targets Black Neighborhoods with their centers…as explains in the film: Maafa21.

The recently released documentary about Eugenics in America called- Maafa21 also focused on the way it targets third world countries. In the Maafa21 DVD evidence that the former Office of Population head for the United States, RT Ravenholt, says he wants to sterilize one-forth of the World’s population, and was “honored by Planned Parenthood” is just more proof of this eugenics agenda !

Prior to this POPULATION CONTROL article targeting African Nations…. the former eugenics founded Planned Parenthood medical director , Malcolm Potts insulted the Philippines by saying that if it fails to check its runaway population growth, the Philippines could fall into the category of impoverished Somalia in Africa.

Dr Malcolm Potts said that due to its ballooning population, there would be about 160 million Filipinos, from the estimated 94 million today, in the next 40 years which could pose a huge problem of how to feed, clothe, educate and house them.

Potts then pushed the abortion agenda and cited the urgent need for the country to enact the controversial reproductive health or family planning bill which has been pending in Congress for the past eight years due to strong opposition from the Catholic Church and its supporters.

“…Unless you are able to offer the poorest living on about $1 a day the choices they deserve, then people will be poorer, you will be importing food, you will (be) more like Somalia than like Thailand,” Potts warned.

He emphasized that a reduction in the birth rate could stimulate economic growth by having more people in the work force than dependents.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer, reported in the story: Population expert draws flak for forecast By Michael Lim Ubac, and dated: /20/2010 that a leader in the Philippine House of Representatives sought the deportation of Malcolm Potts over his prediction that the Philippine population would reach 160 million in 40 years, possibly causing the country to become a failed state like Somalia.

Parañaque Representative Roilo Golez, who is vigorously opposing the reproductive health (RH) bill is expected to make formal next week his request to deport Potts over the remarks the latter made on Thursday as one of the organizers of the population conference at the Asian Institute of Management in Makati City.

Potts, airing his opinions freely at the conference, said the Philippines would suffer far worse economic, environmental and even national security problems if the population would reach a projected 160 million by 2050.

Unless the RH bill goes through and unless you are able to offer the poorest economic quintile the choices that they deserve, then people will be poorer. You will be importing food, you will be more like Somalia than Thailand,” Potts had warned.

A peeved Golez said Potts, a “supposed population expert” from the Bixby Center for Population, Health and Sustainability of the University of California, “practices and promotes abortion which is illegal in the Philippines.”

In 1972, (Potts) was the first physician to promote the technique of uterine manual vacuum aspiration,” said Golez, who did not bother to explain this medical procedure aimed at aborting pregnancies.

Golez also said that in a June 2010 article in the European Journal of Contraception and Reproductive Health Care, Mr. Potts was quoted to have stated the following: “I look at abortion from the perspective of a doctor who has performed abortions … I was perhaps the first Western physician to do outpatient vacuum aspiration abortions under local anesthesia.”

Abortion is legal under various circumstances in many countries.

But Golez added that Potts also “insulted the Philippines by comparing us to super backward Somalia whose economy is based on virtually livestock only, compared to our sophisticated industry, not to mention their long history of civil wars and warlordism.

The lawmaker, a former national security adviser during the Arroyo administration, cited the Philippine population density, which is around 266 persons per sq. km. compared to Somalia’s tiny density of only 12 persons per sq. km.

And that’s where Somalia’s big problem is—they lack the population to do any major economic activity,” claimed Golez.

Malcolm Potts, M.B., B.Chir, Ph.D., F.R.C.O.G. (b. 1935) served as medical director of the International Planned Parenthood Federation from 1968 to 1972, and as president of Family Health International from 1978 to 1990.

PROOF!!! Obama Birth Certificate Fraud, posted with vodpod

From National Review Online:
Birthers Still Disbelieve
April 27, 2011 2:35 P.M.
By Daniel Foster

The release of President Obama’s “long-form” birth certificate has not satisfied many so-called birthers who question the conditions of the president’s birth and his eligibility to hold office. Here is a roundup of the new conspiracy theories cropping up in response to the White House release:

It still says ‘Certificate of Live Birth’

Noun-adjective ordering is apparently a problem for Sharon Guthrie, legislative director for a Texas state legislator who has introduced a bill requiring proof of citizenship from presidential candidates. She tells Slate.com:

“What I’ve seen online, what they produced today, still says certificate of live birth across the top. . . . We want to see a ‘birth certificate’. . . . The one that we have that says ‘birth certificate’ is from Mombassa, Kenya, with his footprint on it. He has still not produced an American birth certificate.”

Guthrie is referring to a document included in a lawsuit filed by dogged birther Orly Taitz, a document even broadly sympathetic blogs like WorldNetDaily have reported as a fraud.

Obama is still a dual citizen, and thus ineligible for the presidency

Speaking of WND, the site run by avowed birther Joseph Farah is reacting cautiously to the White House release, arguing that even if the document is genuine, it doesn’t answer questions about whether Obama had dual citizenship through his father, and whether that Constitutionally precludes him from being president:

If the document proves valid, it could answer the questions raised by those who have alleged he was not actually born in Hawaii. But it also could prove his ineligibility because of its references to his father. Some of the cases challenging Obama have explained that he was a dual citizen through his father at his birth, and they contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born citizens.

Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, the only news agency that has waged a relentless investigative campaign on questions swirling around the Obama’s eligibility for nearly three years, was elated at the turn of events.

“We’re gratified that our work has begun to pay off,” he said. “The certificate of live birth is an absolutely vital foundation for determining constitutional eligibility of any president. We look forward to reviewing it like so many other Americans do at this late date. But it is important to remember there are still dozens of other questions concerning this question of eligibility that need to be resolved to assure what has become a very skeptical public concerning Barack Obama’s parentage, his adoption, his citizenship status throughout his life and why he continues to cultivate a culture of secrecy around his life.”

The PDF released by the White House contains multiple “layers”

Multiple Photoshop and image analysis buffs — mostly amateur, and comprising both birthers and non-birthers — have pointed out that the PDF document released by the White House contains multiple image “layers” superimposed atop each other.

The argument here is that the multiple layers are evidence that the document has been purposefully doctored. Our tech guru Nate Goulding writes about why that is almost certainly not the case here.

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Obama’s father’s race is listed as “African” not “Negro” as it would have been in 1961

So-called “birther queen” Orly Taitz told TPM that while the release is a “step in the right direction” she is still suspicious of what she says is anachronistic language on the birth certificate:

“Look, I applaud this release. I think it’s a step in the right direction,” so-called “birther queen” Orly Taitz told me in one of her many media interviews this morning. “I credit Donald Trump in pushing this issue.”

But she still has her suspicions. Specifically, Taitz thinks that the birth certificate should peg Obama’s race as “Negro” and not “African.”

“In those years … when they wrote race, they were writing ‘Negro’ not ‘African’,” Taitz says. “In those days nobody wrote African as a race, it just wasn’t one of the options. It sounds like it would be written today, in the age of political correctness, and not in 1961 when they wrote white or Asian or ‘Negro’.”

If these early reactions are any indication, birtherism is not going away any time soon.

Eugenics wins – Kenyan unborn loose, posted with vodpod

LifeNews reports:
Voters in Kenya appear to have cast their ballots on Wednesday in favor of a new constitution that may quell some of the political violence the nation has experienced but would allow the violence of abortion. The vote was the subject of controversy as the Obama administration appeared to finance the Yes campaign.

With more than 60 percent of the ballots counted at 13,156 of 20,750 polling stations, unofficial results from the Daily Nation indicate 66 percent of Kenyans voted for the pro-abortion constitution while 34 percent voted no.

Some 12.5 million people were registered to vote, and more than 3.3 million appear to have voted for the constitution while 1.7 million voted against it. Reuters indicated there were long lines at many polling stations with the Rift Valley centers of Eldoret and Nakuru seeing especially heavy turnout.

William Ruto, a cabinet minister who led the No campaign, told Reuters he would accept the outcome.

“This is an historic moment in our country and I’m sure Kenyans will make the right decision,” he told reporters. “Everyone has an obligation to accept the decision of the people of Kenya.”

Leading pro-life and church groups both in Kenya and across the world, tried to educate voters that the new constitution would allow abortions.

“Many in the media are falsely reporting that the new constitution would not allow abortion except ‘where the life of the mother is in danger,'”Jeanne Head, the National Right to Life Vice President for International Affairs, told LifeNews.com. “The truth is actually the opposite.”

The language in the proposed constitution does not contain any meaningful restrictions on abortion, despite recognition of the right to life from conception.

Instead, Section 26 contains language which allows abortion when in the “opinion of a trained health professional, there is need for emergency treatment, or the life or health of the mother is in danger, or if permitted by any other written law.”

Head says this is a reversal of previous Kenyan law on abortion which required the opinion of two medical doctors who were in agreement that an abortion was necessary to save the life of the mother. She said the newly-proposed broad “health” exceptions in the proposed constitution would essentially mean abortion on demand.

She pointed out that a similar health exception was used in the United States Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions. Those rulings gave the United States a policy of legal abortion for virtually any reason throughout the entire length of pregnancy. The result has been the death of more than 52 million unborn children in the United States since 1973.

“If approved, the new constitution would legalize abortion in Kenya, which would dramatically increase the number of abortions and lead to more women hurt and unborn children killed, just as Roe v. Wade has done in the U.S.,” Head concluded.

Meanwhile, members of Congress in the United States have spoken out against the Obama administration’s spending $23 million supporting the pro-abortion constitution.

USAID has reported spending at least $23 million to promote the proposed constitution. The lawmakers questioned the legality of the spending, since current U.S. law bars funding to either advocate either for or against abortion, and the proposed document dramatically changes existing Kenyan abortion laws.

Even if the constitution is ultimately approved, voters will likely have cast ballots for it but not because they favor abortions.

A poll conducted March 21–26 by the polling firm Synovate, formerly known as Steadman, shows the citizens of Kenya are overwhelmingly pro-life.

“Thinking about abortion, which of the following is closest to your view?” the firm asked respondents.

Some 69 percent of Kenya residents are against legalizing abortions while just 9 percent support it. Another 16 percent say it doesn’t matter while 6 percent said they had no opinion.

Answering the question, “When do you believe human life begins?” 77 percent of Kenyans stated that life begins at conception, while 19 percent stated that human life begins at the time of birth.

Respondents were also asked about their views concerning the new Kenyan Constitution and the question found only 19 percent support it as currently written, while a majority, 52 percent, want Parliament to revise the document before passage.

Scott Fischbach, the director of MMCL Go, an international pro-life outreach, provided the polling results to LifeNews.com.

“Currently, advocates of abortion are using the issue of maternal mortality and illegal abortions to argue for legalization of the procedure. However, the answer to illegal abortions and high maternal mortality rates is very simple: provide hope, opportunity and support for pregnant women by insuring a clean water supply, clean blood supply and adequate health care,” he said.

“Kenya is a pro-life country and ought not to head toward an abortion-on-demand policy in its new Constitution,” he added.

White House Backs Kenyan Constitution Allowing Abortion

The Obama administration is offering incentives to Kenya to approve a controversial new constitution that would legalize abortion for the first time, promising that passage will “allow money to flow” into the nation’s coffers, including U.S. aid.

But there’s a hitch to that pledge. A federal law known as the Siljander Amendment passed in 2006 makes it illegal for the U.S. government to lobby on abortion in other countries — and three U.S. lawmakers say they want a federal investigation into the promises made by the administration.

Kenya has long been ripe for a new constitution, one that will balance power in the country and prevent the kind of violent rioting that followed Kenya’s 2007 presidential election.

The Obama administration has vocally expressed enthusiasm for the new constitution, which it says will provide for easier transition of power through more balanced branches of government.
But according to anti-abortion groups in and outside of Kenya, the constitution will cause harm to the nation by overturning its ban on abortion.

Article 26 of the proposed constitution states that abortion is allowed if “in the opinion of a trained health professional, there is need for emergency treatment, or the life or health of the mother is in danger or if permitted by any other written law.”

The problem for some is how much that provision is left open to interpretation.

“There are parts of this constitution that violate human dignity,” Rebecca Marchinda, director of advocacy for the human rights coalition World Youth Alliance, told FoxNews.com.

“A trained health professional could be anyone who has health training, including a student or a physical therapist,” Marchinda said. “The provision is also broadly defined to include any kind of health, including psychological health or emotional health. Finally, this clause opens the way to create other laws that make abortion available on demand.”

In a speech delivered last month in Kenya, Vice President Joe Biden urged the Kenyan people to pass the constitution in a referendum scheduled for Aug.4

“The United States strongly supports the process of constitutional reform. … Dare to reach for transformative change, the kind of change that might come around only once in a lifetime,” he said.

“If you make these changes, I promise you, new foreign private investment will come in like you’ve never seen,” Biden added.

According to reports, U.S. ambassador to Kenya Michael Ranneberger told Kenyan officials in May that the U.S. has offered $2 million in taxpayer funds for “civic education” to support the process of enacting a new constitution.

That’s a problem for Republican Reps. Darrell Issa of California, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida and Chris Smith of New Jersey. In letters to the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Government Accountability Office and U.S. Agency for International Development, the lawmakers said they want a federal probe to determine whether the administration violated federal law with its assistance.

Any advocacy by the administration in support of the proposed new constitution would constitute lobbying for abortion,” reads one letter sent in May. “There is no doubt that the administration is advocating for adoption of the proposed constitution.”

Issa’s office confirmed that the congressman has not spoken to Biden regarding the request for a federal probe, and they did not say whether they had received a response from the inspectors general.

Funding from the United States, meanwhile, is the least of the Kenyan pro-lifers’ worries. They are facing violent and even fatal opposition from constitution supporters within their own nation.

A peaceful anti-constitution protest and prayer service on June 13 turned violent when two bombs exploded, killing six people and injuring over 100 more, according to Kenyan newspaper The Standard.

Not only are constitution opponents being bombed, their leaders are being arrested. Three members of the Kenyan parliament were taken into custody on June 16 on charges of alleged hate speech relating to their prominent leadership in opposing the new constitution.

Three other members of parliament were also accused of hate speech, including Higher Education Minister William Ruto, widely seen as a leader in the campaign against the new constitution.

Obadias Ndaba, who works in the World Youth Alliance branch in Kenya, told FoxNews.com that the government “is trying to do everything it takes to pass the constitution.”

“The US VP Biden, while in a visit here, promised that Obama would visit the country only if the constitution is passed,” he wrote in an e-mail Friday.

“What is clear is that we are having a powerful elite in government supported by foreign powers against the weak forces of church leaders (plus few politicians under threat of hate speech) with huge support in the population but with less means and security to get their message across,” he wrote.

Requests for comment sent to the vice president’s office were not returned.

MEET ALAN GUTTMACHER:

Guttmacher Institute is the Research Arm for the largest provider of abortions nationally and internationally – Planned Parenthood and was named after one of Planned Parenthood’s President – Alan Guttmacher.

In 1967, Alan Guttmacher , who was also a Vice President for the American Eugenics Society, said this in 1967- “ I oppose abortion on demand, at least now for the United States, there are several reason. First, the public does not want it… only 20 % of the public favors abortion for single women… Abortion on demand relives the male of all responsibility in the sphere of pregnancy control..he becomes and animal…not far removed from the status of a bull…I favor liberalization of existing [ abortion] statutes…” But…should Guttmacher be legally permitted to do abortions he continues, ” I would abort mothers already carrying three or more children…I would abort women who desire abortion who are drug addicts or severe alcoholics…I would abort women with sub-normal mentality incapable of providing satisfactory parental care…”
(Source; “Abortion: The Issues”, Dr. Alan Guttmacher – President, Planned Parenthood, December 4, 1967, Harvard Law School Forum)

In 1969, Guttmacher as then President of Planned Parenthood-World Population, said this: “ I would like to give our voluntary means of population control full opportunity in the next 10 to 12 years. 1229-1234)

And in February of 1970 Alan Guttmacher was interviewed by the Baltimore Magazine and said this
Our birth rate has come down since we last talked..

This is about POPULATION CONTROL – A stunning new film: Maafa21 shows how Planned Parenthood and their founders and leaders like Guttmacher were all muddied up in Eugenics

Simply listen to the words of Guttmacher told a symposium at the University of California Medical Center in 1966 he stated that, “the belief that the white middle class was coercing their own poor and people with black and yellow skins to reduce family size because the middle-class whites are frightened of being outnumbered.”

The only way the mounting feeling that birth control is a tool of racism can be handled, is to involve knowledgeable leaders from the minority groups who understand and are favorable to the philosophy of birth control. They, in turn, must translate their appreciation of the contribution which birth control can make toward family stability to their own people.” (SOURCE: New York Times: Doctor blames his profession for delays on Family Planning: 1/16/1966)

Jacobs observed: “Kenyans are literally fighting for the hope and future of their nation — the lives of unborn children. The Constitution, which will be voted on by Kenyans on August 4, includes language which overturns current Kenyan law prohibiting abortion except to save the mother’s life. It would allow abortion when the mother’s ‘health’ is affected by a continuation of pregnancy. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines “health” to include ‘complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’ Thus, Section 26 of the proposed Constitution sets up a mechanism for unrestricted abortion on demand at any time during pregnancy.”
Africa has been targeted by international population control groups for legalized abortion despite a 47% drop in Kenyan fertility and projections that show a declining population in the next 50 years. It’s reported the Obama administration has spent over $23 million to promote the pro-abortion Constitution and open the door to killing black babies throughout Africa.

Jacobs: “We urge the people of Kenya to carefully consider the consequences of this fatal move, which could be the first step on a road the West has followed, leading to one-quarter of all pregnancies in the U.S. ending in abortion. Once again, the legacy of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood is revealed with their racist agenda to eliminate black Africans. The history of 21st Century black genocide from abortion is chronicled in the documentary movie, Maafa21 (www.maafa21.com).”
