Planned Parenthood, not your bastion of respectful patriotism has raised their condom flag during National Condom Week, celebrated the same week as Valentine’s Day in the USA.

On February 19th the week of Valentine’s Day and Condom Week, Planned Parenthood posted this to Facebook:

Condom FLag

Two years ago, Planned Parenthood pinned this condom flag on Pinterest:

In 2014, NARAL, the largest abortion lobby group in the nation Retweeted this image of a so-called “Flag of Reproductive Freedom” :

Then there was this one by Planned Parenthood claiming reproductive rights (i.e. abortion on demand rights) are human rights draped in a flag:

Also in 2014, Planned Parenthood suggested their supporters “declare your sexual independence day” using the flag this way:

In 2013, Planned Parenthood again used the condom flag in a Facebook post here:

It appears to be a common theme:

According to USAflag.org, ‘No disrespect should be shown to the Flag of the United States of America.’

The website also contains an American flag wall of shame which, in my opinion, should include the above.

Charles Stanley – Turning the Tide of Socialism in America

Posted in Church, Socialism with tags , , , , , , , , , on July 6, 2010 by saynsumthn

My only add to this is that we definitely need to pray but we MUST Repent. It is not the “Liberals” fault that America kills 50 million unborn children, allows immorality and steals our money. NO NO NO – it is ours and we’d best take the blame upon ourselves because that is the ONLY recipe that has given for God to “Heal our land” (11 Chronicles 7:14)

Please Blessed Christians – Let us Humble ourselves and PRAY and seek God’s face and TURN from OUR Wicked way. All these ills are rampant in the body of Christ, and we have not stood against them like we should at home, church or community.

In the July 4th sermon posted on InTouch.org Dr. Charles Stanley, Pastor of First Baptist of Atlanta, spoke on “Turning the Tide.” (Copy of Dr. Stanley’s Sermon is Below) A primary focus of the sermon is the clash between Christianity and Socialism.

Dr. Stanley said, “We find ourselves, as a nation, violating the laws of God and heading in a direction that is going to be disastrous for us, for our children and for the generations that are to come, unless there is a change. . . . There is a tide that has touched our shores and reached the heart of our nation. It is a tide that is bringing with it ideas and philosophies, actions and attitudes, that will ultimately destroy the way of life that you and I have.”

Dr. Stanley discussed the growing national debt, unemployment, abortion, the sanctity of marriage and the abandonment of Israel, but his primary focus was on the dangers of Socialism. He said, “Listen carefully, this tide is bringing in control that will attempt to silence the truth and will attempt to squash the religious devotion and worship of the people of God. There will be a collision with Socialism and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

He said Christianity interferes with the spread of Socialism.

Dr. Stanley closed with a story about German Christians gathering to pray in 1989 — against the will of their Communist government. Over time, the prayer meetings swelled from a handful to over 10,000. It got so there were too many to fit in the church where the prayers started. Very soon the Berlin Wall came down.
Dr. Stanley concluded by calling for 140 days of prayer for our nation.

Such a sermon is so rare that InTouch ministries has been overwhelmed by the response. Their web servers are having difficult handling the traffic.

The reason such a sermon is so rare is because many pastors fear the government will interpret their sermon as political speech and threaten their tax exempt status.
This only confirms the truth of Dr. Stanley’s message. Big secular government fears the church and, while professing a desire for separation of church and state, the state stands at the ready to come into a church and limit what a pastor can say. Even Dr. Stanley avoided the use of any current elected official’s name. He quoted President James Garfield and Winston Churchill.

Because of tax-exempt status most American pastors opposed to abortion and gay marriage are afraid to call for parishioners to oppose Elena Kagan’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Ironically, Kagan is exactly the kind of judge likely to rule against churches. If you want “In God We Trust” removed from our money, or “Under God” removed from our pledge, you can place hope in the judges nominated by President Obama.

If you want pastors to have the freedom to preach the Word of God — even as it applies to government — you may wish to join Dr. Stanley in prayer for this nation.

The Nation’s Lighthouse
Source: In Touch
By Charles F. Stanley

Our country is like a large ship fighting through stormy waters in foggy weather. Spiritually and morally, we’ve lost our sense of direction. Sexual sins, greed, pride, indulgence, slothfulness, ungratefulness, and irreverence characterize our nation. Prayer and Bible reading are no longer allowed in schools, and it’s become legal to kill unborn babies. We are on our way to becoming a pagan nation where ungodly ideas and morals are not only accepted but celebrated. Our country is on a collision course with disaster.

Amidst the darkness of our age, the church is called to be like a lighthouse. In foggy weather or on dark nights, lighthouses warn ships of danger and help guide them safely through treacherous waters. Jesus said:

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matt. 5:14-16).
Because you and I have the light of God’s Holy Spirit within us, we have a responsibility. We are to send out a beam of truth into the circle of our family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.

Scattered across our land are literally hundreds of thousands of churches. Every week, millions of people attend services. So why is our nation, morally speaking, in a fog? Why are we almost sunk by the waves of philosophies and false religions?

Pastors
In the early part of last century, liberal theology began to penetrate the churches and seminaries of America. Church authorities began to doubt the truthfulness of Scripture. They asserted that only part of the Bible was inspired by God, but that it contained some errors. They also taught that it was outdated.
As a result, sermons grew weaker and less convicting. Pastors compromised the truth to keep from offending those with wealth or position in the community. Children raised to doubt the Bible learned not to trust the Lord. Later, as adults, they had no place in their lives for God. Our generation is reaping the awful harvest of years and years of liberalism. Even today, many pastors fail to send a clear message about the holiness, judgment, and power of our awesome God.

The Individual Believer

A malfunctioning lighthouse can mean danger and destruction for ships seeking safe harbor. What causes a lighthouse beam to grow dim or go out completely? If the glass is dirty, the light will be muted. If there is no power, there can be no illumination.

Why is the church not operating as the lighthouse it should be? Sin has lessened our ability to shine for God. We’ve cut off the power of the Holy Spirit, who desires to work through us. In cowardice, we have compromised our convictions in order to please the world. Believers have been afraid to offend the ungodly by speaking truth; instead, we end up offending almighty God through our disobedience.

Ultimately, the sovereign Lord holds the destiny of this nation in His hands. But He has graciously chosen to involve you and me through our thinking, conduct, and prayers. If we want to see America change for the better, that change must begin with us. When many believers allow God to work through them, the radiance of the church will grow stronger. Its beam of light will penetrate the darkness and provide the direction that our nation so desperately needs.

Peter wrote, “It is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17). The church must begin by repenting—turning from the direction we are headed. I challenge you to ask yourself, Am I in the center of God’s will for my life? Am I in some way contributing to the sin in our nation? Is there something about my life that God would like to change? How does my parenting style need to adjust so that my children will have the foundation to be godly, Bible-believing, devoted, obedient Christians?

If the church does not wake up and begin to send a clear message of accountability, forgiveness, and genuine hope, our nation is headed for shipwreck. Do your part to help restore the church in America to be the lighthouse God intended.

United We Stand ! Happy 4th

Written by Carole Novielli

I hear the voices speak: “United we stand”
But, to the church of God – I appeal.
If we want to rid this sin from our land
Then, our cry should be : “United we kneel.

We say, “God bless our nation
This land of the brave and home of the free…
But, if we really want to send lamentation
We should do it humbly from our knee.

America: The Brave, The Strong, and The Proud !
Her army marches on, her soldiers must go…
But, if we really want our voice to be loud,
We’d whisper to God and bow our head low !

This land is your land, this land is my land,
We’ll never surrender without a fight !
But, if we want America to remain GRAND…
We should seek the Lord with all of our might !

It is not JUST God’s protection and blessing we seek,
But His forgiveness and His mercy too.
For, while enjoying our wealth, we became spiritually weak
And neglected the widow, the orphan, and the pew !

While God is good and in Him no evil is found
Yet – a terror has been permitted and allowed.
Shouldn’t we ask, why this wickedness is around?
With a contrite heart and heads all bowed?

While numbers and strength are answers indeed
And our soldiers can march with intense pace
There is a spiritual war to be fought ONLY on our knee
And a victory we will ONLY win on our face !

For…If God’s people who are called by HIS name
will turn from THEIR wicked way
Look to themselves, and, accept THEIR blame
Then God can turn the darkness to day !

Oh, say does that Star Spangled Banner Yet Waive
As her beauty shines from sea to sea.
Dear Lord, move your hand, and America save…
Send a revival, and let it begin with me.

( Written after the 9/11 attacks in 2001)

I pray America will return to the Lord,

Why I Fight On – Happy 4th of July

Posted in Abortion, Black Genocide, Constitution, Eugenics, Racism, Religion, Sterilization, Violence against women with tags , , , , , , , , , , on June 29, 2009 by saynsumthn

I was a teen when I first hit the street to sidewalk counsel outside an abortion clinic. I saw men drag women into the clinic and parents coerce their daughters to kill their children. We wept, we prayed, we begged the women to spare the lives of their children. Still the slaughter of abortion continues and still I weep and cry out for their lives.

Now that I am older I ask myself – Why do I fight on? Have we seen the victory, is the war not getting worse? I am often on the edge of decision on whether to leave the battle because, victory, it seems, is never going to happen. But, then I am reminded of why I fight. I fight for those who cannot speak or fight for themselves- the kids: Born and unborn. I fight because it is right and because I was “born for such a time as this.” Perhaps these words will not inspire anyone to continue but they are words I echo in my own ear time and again.

When we look back on history we see many battles that looked grim. Our forefathers came here leaving all they knew to create a place of freedom for us. They formed this nation and faced their own kinsmen in War to fight for what they believed to be great. They vowed their “lives, their wealth, and their sacred honor” to defend liberty. Not knowing the outcome, they entered the battle, because the cause was justified and freedom was worth the sacrifice. They took the risk and saw a victory.

When this nation endured the darkness of slavery, few good men and women said “NO“. They were the persecuted voices in their day – shouting against the evils of slavery to a nation whose very economy was based on the stripes of the black man. They were voiceless in Congress, the media, and even in many of the churches. Though few in numbers, they converted whom they could: one convert at a time. How could they face down an industry that enslaved millions with a handful of “radicals” freeing only a few men and women from the bondage of slavery? The great abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison wrote this in The Liberator, an abolitionist newspaper he created because he had been censored from the regular press. January 1, 1831:

I am aware, that many object to the severity of my language; but is there not cause for severity? I will be as harsh as truth, and as uncompromising as justice. On this subject, I do not wish to think, or speak, or write, with moderation. No! no! Tell a man whose house is on fire, to give a moderate alarm; tell him to moderately rescue his wife from the hand of the ravisher; tell the mother to gradually extricate her babe from the fire into which it has fallen; — but urge me not to use moderation in a cause like the present. I am in earnest — I will not equivocate — I will not excuse — I will not retreat a single inch — AND I WILL BE HEARD.”

Though victory seemed grim, they fought on, unsure of the results: freedom was worth the risk and victory finally came.

Thomas J “Stonewall” Jackson is one of the most famous American Generals of all time. He got his fame by fighting for the South in the American Civil War; he was very religious and thought to be a bit odd at times by his men. Jackson was heard telling his men, “My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to always be ready, no matter when it may overtake me.” With that in mind, General Jackson faced the battle with faith in God, sworn to his duty he was assured that God held his days in His able hands. “Look at Jackson standing there like a stone wall,” was the sentence that gave birth to his historic nickname.

As the Revolutionary War, Slavery, and the Civil War among others teach us, there have been dark times in American History before. The Bible itself is full of inspirational stories where the righteous was outnumbered and the battle looked bleak. For Example: David watched as the Israeli army backed off as Goliath mocked the Living God. Outraged that one man could cause such fear, David chose to march on trusting that His God was larger and greater than any earthly giant. David took a risk and stepped onto the battlefield alone but God showed up along side of him and the giant was silenced.

Thinking he was the only prophet of the Most High left, Elijah faced down 450 prophets of Baal , “You have abandoned the LORD’s commands and have followed the Baals. ” Elijah told Ahab, “Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.” 1 Kings 18

Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the LORD’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. Get two bulls for us. Let them choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire—he is God.

Elijah – took a risk and GOD SHOWED UP! He put the false god’s of Baal to shame.

Esther was a young beautiful woman who was launched into the King’s chamber as Queen when he saw her beauty. But then her uncle sent word to her that the King had been tricked into signing a decree to massacre all of “her people, the Jews.” He spoke these words to her, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)

Esther took a risk and went into see her King. She could have died in that attempt, but she believed the words of her Uncle that she had been sent to that position “for such a time as this.” She took a risk, and God saved her people.

In a little town a young woman was greeted by an angel, “Mary – you are great among women.” Told by the angel that she would bear a son, Mary trembled because she knew the consequences to pregnancy outside of marriage. Choosing instead to believe the words of God through His messenger, Mary replied, “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38) Mary accepted that risk and the Lord literally showed up!

As we look out among this nation, many of us are battle torn and worn out. We are witnessing perhaps the death of America’s Freedom and Greatness. The prospect of that outcome has caused many to give-up, many to loose hope. But, we are not a people who should be motivated by what we “see” with earthly eyes. We are a people of Hope and a people who serve a Great God. Perhaps we have been spoiled by a sense of “freedom” few of us have ever been called upon to “defend”. Perhaps some of us have sat on the sidelines while others fought for us. Whatever the cause, we are where we are, and nothing happens outside of God’s vision. If America is seeing her last great days, so be it. I, for one, intend to stay in this battle to the end. I intend to fight on, not because victory has been promised. Precisely the opposite. I fight because it is right. I stand because I believe in truth and in God’s Word. I speak and defend the innocent because God commands me to. I am a patriotic American, but my last and final hope is not of this world, but of that world to come. If I can make a difference here on earth, great. But that is not my goal – it is to please and honor my King. I fight on, I take the risk, and I trust that if God is for me “Who can be against me?

For I am convinced that “neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

Please…do not quit, for who knows that you were born “FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.” Speak for what is right, no matter who listens. Stand for what is right, no matter the consequences. Be a light in a dark and dying world and look to our one and only hope: The Lord Jesus Christ !

As we approach another birthday of this once great nation, let us take to our knees and bless America, stand in the gap for her, and repent for this land we love so dearly. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 11Chronicle 7:14

And above all- FIGHT ON!

“Duty is Ours, Results are God’s”
