The media seems to always equate abortion with “women’s rights” — but many people may be unaware that legalizing abortion in America was actually an idea originally pushed by pro-abortion men, many of whom were concerned about the growth of certain people groups. But beyond this, predatory men have benefited significantly from legalized abortion, which has removed male responsibility from unplanned pregnancy situations, and which is used to cover up sexual abuse. And male abortionists continue to be protected by the abortion industry even when they rapeinjure or kill female patients.

Below are eight things everyone should know about the large role certain men played in liberalizing abortion laws in the U.S.:

1. Pro-eugenics men were the primary people discouraging reproduction among “undesirable” groups

2. A pro-population control man led the push for abortion at Planned Parenthood

3. A misogynistic man influenced the sexual revolution, which primarily benefited predatory males

  • The sexual revolution of the 1960s pushed by Cosmopolitan Magazine (under direction of Helen Gurley Brown) was inspired by Hugh Hefner, creator of Playboy.
  • Hefner told Hollywood Reporter that Brown approached him for job before joining Cosmo: “She wanted to do a female version of Playboy.
  • The theme of free sex without consequences and no kids, with abortion as a safety net, benefited men.

4. Two pro-abortion men hijacked the 1960’s “women’s movement” to legalize abortion

Image: Larry Lader and Bernard Nathanson

Larry Lader and Bernard Nathanson

  • Most outspoken abortion enthusiasts in the 1960s were men, like Larry Lader and Bernard Nathanson.
  • Betty Friedan, author of “The Feminine Mystique,” dubbed “mother of the women’s movement,” called Lader “the father of the abortion rights movement.”
  • Friedan founded the National Organization for Women (NOW) in 1966 and in 1967, Lader and Nathanson convinced her to add abortion to NOW’s plank, causing a loss in female NOW membership.
  • Lader admitted in his book that “Abortion never became a feminist plank in the United States among the suffragettes or depression radicals. It was ignored, even boycotted by Planned Parenthood women in those days.”
  • 1969: NARAL was established by Lader, Nathanson, and Friedan, who admitted few women attended. (Nathanson later renounced his pro-abortion stance and worked to expose the lies they told.)
  • 1989: Friedan acknowledged it was certain men who pushed to legalize abortion: “I remember that there were some men… that had been trying to reform these criminal abortion laws. And they got a sense somehow that the women’s movement might make everything different…. They kept nagging at me… to try and do something…. ‘We need some organization to take up… abortion rights.’”

5. Pro-eugenics men founded the Guttmacher Institute, Planned Parenthood’s former research arm

  • Alan Guttmacher, former Planned Parenthood president and Eugenics Society VP, founded the Center for Family Planning Program Development in 1968, which became the Guttmacher Institute, a “special affiliate” of Planned Parenthood.
  • In 1969, Guttmacher acknowledged funding came from “Kellogg, Rockefeller, and Ford Foundations.”

6. Men in favor of population control pushed for taxpayer-funded “family planning,” which aids America’s largest abortion business

  • The Title X federal family planning program allocates tens of millions of tax dollars to Planned Parenthood.
  • 1965: President Lyndon Johnson (LBJ) supported taxpayer funded “family planning” and was awarded Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award the following year.
  • 1966: Alan Guttmacher proposed a blueprint to force taxpayers to fund birth control for poor.
  • 1968: George N. Lindsay, chairman of Planned Parenthood-World Population, urged President Richard Nixon to federally fund poor people’s “family planning.”
  • 1969: Nixon spoke in favor of “family planning” and the same year, the Senate approved tax funding for it, with the help of Democrat Senator Joseph D. Tydings, a Planned Parenthood supporter granted PPFA’s Margaret Sanger award.

  • 1970: The U.S. House of Representatives authorized federal dollars to pay for family planning services.
  • The chief co-sponsor of the Title X statute was Rep. George H.W. Bush, who later became president. Bush was recruited because his grandfather, Prescott Bush, once sat on a Planned Parenthood board.
  • 1972: Nixon recommended Congress create the Commission on Population Growth and the American Future to study abortion. It was chaired by John D. Rockefeller III, a longtime advocate of population control. The Executive Director was Charles Westoff, a member of the American Eugenics Society and Planned Parenthood’s National Advisory Council.

7. An all-male Supreme Court legalized abortion

  • 1973: U.S. Supreme Court justices, all men, ruled 7 to 2 to vote in the Roe v. Wade case in favor of legalizing abortion on demand.

8. Men pushing eugenics and population control brought the abortion pill to the U.S.

  • The Population Council, founded in 1952 by John D. Rockefeller III, was led by men concerned about population issues and is credited with bringing abortion pill RU-486 to the U.S.
  • Population Council leaders were connected to the eugenics movement (read more here).

  • 1994: President Bill Clinton’s administration encouraged French pharmaceutical manufacturer Roussel-Uclaf to assign US rights of marketing and distribution of RU-486 to the Population Council.
  • Right to distribute handed over to Danco Laboratories, a sub-licensee of the Population Council.
  • 2000: Larry Lader bragged in a press conference he “plotted” to break the law and smuggle the pills into the U.S.

Words simply cannot describe what is unfolding in history

Posted in Aborted Babies with tags , , , , , on January 20, 2015 by saynsumthn

There are times when words simply cannot describe what is unfolding in history.

January 22nd marks the 42nd anniversary of legalized abortion in America. What this means is that millions upon millions of unborn children have paid the price for the lie of “pro-choice” and “reproductive rights” with their lives.

55 MILLION
56 MILLION
57 MILLION

There is probably no way to know the complete body count.

It is beyond words to fathom what this number represents. Each child – a gift sent to earth from Heaven- snuffed out on the alter of convenience and “women’s rights.”

Tragedy? Perhaps…

Merriam Webster’s Dictionary describes tragedy as, “a very bad event that causes great sadness and often involves someone’s death: a very sad, unfortunate, or upsetting situation : something that causes strong feelings of sadness or regret.”

Massacre? More like it:

an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of people.

deliberately and violently kill (a large number of people).

While there are plenty of euphemisms like “a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body” if you look at abortion for what it is you see it’s the cold and calculating dismemberment of a child in the womb.

I’ve been around long enough to have debated the opposition which favors child killing in the womb, at a time when they defined the unborn child as a blob of tissue, a parasite, not human.

Today, as I speak with abortion advocates, they state clearly that what is aborted in the womb is indeed a human baby.

Soak that in for a moment…

People in this country KNOW that abortion mercilessly takes the life of the baby and they don’t care. In fact, abortion advocates are not even neutral- they completely turn on the unborn child to seek their demise.

What has happened in our society to bring us to this point?

These advocates of child killing never suggest that there could be another alternative than to hack the innocent child’s body into pieces. No, they coldly work to guarantee the unborn child will be placed before the abortionist’s knife.

Most decent people do not think this way – but – abortion enables the monster inside of people to show it’s teeth. It’s savage appetite for blood pushes those who advocate abortion into more and more extreme positions until abortion becomes a sacred right.

It triumphs all moral decency, all normal reactions to innocence, all mercy, all caring. Abortion consumes those it takes into it’s ideology until that person denies all science, reason, and begins to foam at the mouth with uncontrollable blood-thirst.

People, this is truly sick.

Unfortunately, what is sicker, is that there is a majority of people who say they believe the unborn should be protected- but- they remain silent.

As the body count rises and the blood of innocent children fill the streets of America, these people tune out the cries, they nod their heads in agreement but then turn away from the victims like they do not exist.

But- they do.

Tell me if you would – as extreme as abortion advocates have become – wouldn’t you also agree that being silent about this holocaust is equally disturbing?

I would.

Yes, indeed, there are times when words simply cannot describe what is unfolding in history.

The day I saw abortion first hand

This week we enter the 42nd year of legalized abortion in the United States and I think back to the day I came up close and personal with abortion. The day I saw abortion victims first hand!

I have witnessed many things over the past thirty three years in this fight for the sanctity of human life in numerous states where I stood against child killing. Protests, police abuse, men dragging women into the abortion clinic, and even the funeral of a woman killed from legal abortion.

Her name was Carolina Gutierrez and she received such a serious infection by the legal abortion facility she visited that they had to amputate parts of her body to try and save her life. But, the infection won and Carolina and her unborn child became a statistic in the abortion battle.

I took these pictures with the permission of her family, while attending her funeral:

Caroline Gutierrez img169

img165

img168

The funeral was very emotional. Her story had been in the news for days and knowing the truth about the condition of the abortion clinics in my county caused me to be angry, especially, in light of the continued silence by abortion advocates when women die.

But nothing ever affected me more than seeing the real victims of legalized abortion up close, the broken bodies of the unborn babies.

We knew the abortion clinics could be throwing the aborted babies in the trash. So, how would we know which clinics were disposing the babies illegally? There was no way to know- we’d have to go to various ones and pull the trash to see.

That was a daunting task. But finally, our work paid off.

It was a Saturday afternoon when we approached a clinic located in a strip mall. The abortionist shared the dumpster with other business owners and we received permission to remove some discarded wood from the trash. Our real goal though, was the clinic’s trash- BINGO!

We grabbed several bags over a period of time, until, one day, we discovered that inside the bags were the containers that held babies aborted by suction abortion.

Aborted Baby Suction COntainers IMG_2922

Then came the task of opening up each and every gauze sac. I stilled myself to open each one , knowing what I might see – not knowing how I’d react to it.

Several did indeed look like ground meat.

IMG_2912IMG_2915

To see their fragile little bodies so ground up that no distinguishable pieces remained was not entirely a surprise – after all – these were early abortions and babies that had been violently sucked out through a tube and into these jars.

___________________________________________________

Then…after carefully slicing one gauze sac, there it was. The fully formed arm of an aborted child.

Then a leg, another leg, ribs, skull, etc…

______________________________________________

As we rummaged through the bags we could see the medical records of the women whose children lay torn in pieces.

The cold-hearted abortionist had discarded the bodies of these dead babies in the trash along with their mother’s medical records with no care or concern for either.

At the bottom of the bag, we found a large foot which a pathologist later confirmed was from an unborn baby approximately 5 months gestation. The remaining body parts of that child were not in the bags we had.

Aborted baby foot 2

Aborted baby foot

As we meticulously went through the bags from that abortion clinic, I found myself feeling detached- I was looking squarely at the tiny remains of babies who suffered a horrific death and yet I had little emotion. After all, I had to finish the job I set out to do, I had to continue looking through the bags and opening each and every sac. Was I heartless? Uncaring? Unfeeling? Or was I being scientific and doing a job that had to be done?

I wrestled with this for a few days. And then….

The day arrived for the funeral for these little babies. We told no one who found them. In reality, those who attended did not care about the details – they cared only about giving these precious unborn children a decent burial. They wanted them remembered – their lives must count !

1185348_577035462355123_1505177369_n

I attended the funeral like a pro, covering it for a pro-life magazine I wrote for at the time. As a journalist, I stood on stage watching people tearfully come forward and lay a rose – the symbol of life- on the small casket we purchased to place the tiny pieces of their broken bodies in.

1239523_577035459021790_933267993_n

One moment I was snapping pictures and the next….the next moment I was sobbing uncontrollably in the arms of an usher who was standing beside me on the stage. He must have seen a look in my eyes because his large torso was a comfort as I completely lost it and wept like a mother who just received the news that her beloved child was dead.

The tears and groans continued for a while and took me by surprise. After all, I was a professional, I was detached, I was looking at this from a journalists point of view – I was HUMAN!

img178

As I write this today, I feel a lump in my throat as the memory of what I saw wells up inside me. I often think about the idea that abortion does not affect those who participate in it – the mothers, doctors, nurses, and clinic staff and I have to conclude that it absolutely does affect them.

As a young girl, I used to watch documentaries about the Nazi Holocaust and the Jews they slaughtered mercilessly.

Most people watched those films with great interest in the stories and facts they document.

But, for me, when I watched them, I recalled asking in the midst of my outrage, “ Who took those pictures?

I remember thinking that had those pictures never been taken, society would not be sitting here today in absolute horror of what took place.

I knew at that moment that I wanted to document the abortion holocaust, and by the guidance of God, in some small way, I have.

Thousands march against abortion in Dallas, Bishop rides motorcycle for Unborn babies

The infamous Roe v. Wade case began in Texas after pro-abortion lawyer Sarah Weddington challenged the Texas law prohibiting abortion in 1970.

Thousands of marchers lined up behind pro-life Bikers from Bikers for Life to head toward the Earle Cabell Federal Courthouse, where Roe was originally filed.

Let nobody ever doubt,” Bishop Farrell said, “that we will stand up and that we will never say that we will ever give up. We are determined to bring this victory home. We will do it!.”

We have many challenges ahead but we can never falter and we can never weaken. God is on our side and once God is on our side, we will not fail- He promised us…

Also speaking at the march was Dallas pastor Robert Jeffress who said that Supreme Courts gets cases wrong like Dred Scott and Roe v. Wade.

IMG_2904

This is not a battle between Republicans and Democrats or Liberals and Conservatives, it is a battle between good and evil, between light and darkness, between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. And it is a battle we are going to win,” Jeffress told the crowd.

As expected, there was a virtual blackout of the march by the news media. There were only three pro-abortion protesters present at the event. One abortion advocate held a sign that read, “Free abortions on demand,” and when confronted by a pro-life woman at the rally, he and the female pro-choicers with him gave weak arguments while admitting that abortion takes the life of a baby in the womb.

The event has been documented on Life Dynamics’ Bikers for Life website – see more here:

Piscotta wrote this on his Hometown Pro-life Action Facebook page,”Interstate 35 pedestrian overpass demonstration on Roe day. I just received the main sign we will be using. It was the widest sign the company has ever made. This Pro-Life Waco demonstration happens on Thursday, January 24 from 11 to 1 p.m. We would love to have YOUR participation in this first (but not last) overpass demonstration in Waco. We need pro-lifers to hold signs and draw attention to our signs. The I-35 location is adjacent to Baylor University. Park your car in the lot of the new Chick Fill-A off 6th Street. Then walk less than a block to the entrance to the pedestrian overpass. Write or call me at 254-644-0407 is you have questions.”

In addition to the Bikers, Dallas Bishop Kevin Farrell plans to lead the march on the back of a motorcycle for two blocks and then walk the last two blocks to rally outside the Courthouse.

The ride will take place Saturday, January 17th at 3:00 PM.

Bikers will assemble by 2:00 PM at 500 Memorial Drive, (near the Dallas Convention Center).

Bikers who plan to ride for life can register here.

Texas History:

In March 1970, a suit was filed in Dallas on behalf of plaintiff Jane Roe and all other women “who were or might become pregnant and want to consider all options.”

At the time, in Texas, abortions were prohibited except to save the pregnant woman’s life. But, on June 17, 1970 the three-judge federal panel struck down the Texas abortion statute.

In California- Black pro-lifers are planning a rally in Oakland.

Hoyes Oakland Pro-life Rallly Jan 2015

The Oakland pro-life event is being organized by Rev. Walter Hoye.

An page on Hoye’s website about the rally reads, “We walk because abortion in the Black community is a form of genocide, it is the Darfur of America. We walk because abortion in Black America is the civil rights issue of our day. We walk because abortion does violence, both physically and emotionally, to men and women, to their children, and to their families.

Rev. Hoye said that they have invited half a dozen speakers for their without life nothing matters rally to be held on Friday, January 23rd, at noon at the Oakland City Hall at One Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.

Hoye has invited several Black pro-life leaders to speak at the Oakland rally including Rev. Clenard Childress and Connie Eller who were interviewed in Life Dynamics’ powerful documentary on abortion and Black genocide, Maafa21.

In addition, Hoye said that Pastor Bruce Rivers who leads Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Pastor Walter Moss who is the pastor of the Foursquare Church in Canton, Ohio, Evangelist Richard Lane who is the only full time Black American Lay Catholic Ministries in the United States of America, and Rev. Hoye will also speak.

Hoye said his message to the crowd is, “If Black lives are going to matter, they have to matter in the womb first. Because if they don’t matter in the womb, they don’t matter anywhere.”

Unfortunately, radical pro-abortion communist have announced plans to protest the rally. Pro-lifers can find out more about Hoye’s pro-life rally here.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, pro-lifers plan MLK-style protests to fight for unborn.

Protest ABQ has planned a national strike for January 22 and 23 which they say is similar to tactics employed by the late Martin Luther King, Jr.

Not go to work, not go to school, and that brings in the strike aspect of the event,” says organizer Tara Shaver. “But instead we want people to be prayerful, to fast and to protest, whether that be at a local abortion mill, on the state capitol building.”

No place is off limits, and people are being asked to not spend money during those two days.

The hope of the strike and protest is to use peaceful means to send a resounding message to lawmakers and the courts that American people want to see an end to abortion.

In North Carolina, NARAL will “celebrate” with a concert by MC Taylor and Friends.

The ACLU another radically pro-abortion group, will host a discussion with Diane Price Herndl, Professor and Chair of USF’s Women’s & Gender Studies in Florida.

Sadly, as disturbing as these group “celebrations” are, abortion which kills innocent unborn children in the womb at all stages of pregnancy, is nothing to celebrate. In fact, after 42 years, in 2015, abortion needs to be abolished.
