I’ve seen the result of legalized abortion, and it’s nothing to celebrate

aborted, abortion, reborn, abortionist

By now, most Live Action News readers have heard the tragic news that Ireland (with assistance from pro-choice forces in the United States) has voted to repeal the Eighth Amendment, which had, for decades, protected the right to life of preborn children. News reports on social media showed jubilant celebration from pro-abortion advocates just after the vote was tallied.

But any rejoicing over abortion is ill-advised. After all, it has never ended poverty or stopped child abuse, spousal abuse or rape. It has never ended economic disparity, racism, or sexism.

Instead, it has created an entire industry that cares little for assisting women with real solutions. The women and men of this industry sell their souls and become slaves to profit.

(Warning: Contains images of abortion victims.)

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar loftily speculated to the New York Times that women in Ireland will now endure “[n]o more stigma. The veil of secrecy is lifted. No more isolation. The burden of shame is gone.”

But if Varadkar is correct (and he isn’t), then Ireland will have accomplished in hours what 45 years of legalized abortion still hasn’t accomplished in the United States. Simply travel to a local abortion facility and you can observe first hand that women do not arrive smiling, nor do they exit dancing. Instead, what you will see is a number of raw emotions — from doubt to anger to confusion. Some women are in tears as they leave, and most do so with their heads held low. This is hardly a picture of a shameless or guiltless movement.

Today, decades after the U.S. Supreme Court ushered in the infamous Roe v. Wade decision, despite the futile efforts of the pro-choice lobby to promise that women who seek this so-called “medical procedure” will feel liberated, testimony from women who have chosen abortion says just the opposite. As is the case when abortion is legalized, new found “liberation” eventually gives way to the realization that abortion truly is as horrific as pro-lifers have always claimed. When the “veil of secrecy” is lifted, it reveals an incredible evil.

I learned this first hand in the 1990’s when I found aborted children who had been illegally discarded in the trash. I held the broken bodies of these precious children, and what I felt in that moment was far from a liberating feeling. What I witnessed was violent, bloody, and gruesome — and not just for the unborn children. Over the years, I helped to document how countless women left these so-called safe and legal abortion facilities in ambulances, and others who died later, and at least one who bled to death in her car on her way home.

The fallout became even more of a reality for me when I attended the funeral of Carolina Guttierez, who suffered a serious infection as a result of her abortion, leading doctors to amputate parts of her body in an attempt to save her life. Sadly, the infection won, and Carolina, as well as her preborn child, became statistics and calculated “complication risks” in the abortion battle.

Women who embrace this so-called “right” may unfortunately find themselves in Carolina’s situation, or perhaps that of Cree-Erwin Shepherd, who also died after her legal abortion, which she sought at a Planned Parenthood in recent years. In the video below, Cree’s brother describes what took place:

Today, the names of these deceased women have been conveniently forgotten by the U.S. pro-choice lobby, who consistently ignore the fact that legalizing abortion does not necessarily make it safe. Some women dancing in the streets of Ireland this week could, along with some women in the U.S., become the next victims of abortion, sacrificed along with their children on the altar of “choice.”

Once the floodgates of abortion are opened — in any country — it leaves in its wake nothing but heartache and tears, because it does not solve a woman’s problems; it adds to them.

Did some in Ireland March for Choice or to kill Babies ?

Posted in Pro-choice People with tags , , , , on October 6, 2014 by saynsumthn

In Ireland, abortion advocates organized what they call a March For Choice. The march was organized by the Abortion Rights Campaign.

I guess, they have not received the memo that the term is no longer pro-choice – but – reproductive rights as USA advocates for child killing now use.

However – a video of the march shows their ideology:

A sign carried in the march reads “Forced Pregnancy is Torture.”

Forced Pregnancy Torture

Never mind that abortion tortures the unborn child through dismemberment and other horrific methods.

The march was held in Dublin on September 27th and was their third March for Choice.

Clare Daly, a prominent Irish Politician, told the marchers that ” We’re here for the right to choose, for the right to have an abortion but also for the right to have children, when we want and how we want, to raise them in dignity and without fear of poverty“.

Another marcher said that “Reproductive rights [ i.e. killing children in the womb] are human rights.”

I’m kind of sick of the church telling us what to do,” said another abortion marcher.

One marcher held a sign saying, “Girls just wanna to have fun…. Shameful!

Pro-life man is the victim of Ireland’s first cannibal murder

Posted in pro-choice violence with tags , , , , , , , on January 14, 2014 by saynsumthn

According to a pro-lifer from Ireland, “We need prayers for our fallen Brother in battle and his family & friends...”

“A Pro-Life Comrade, devout Catholic Tom O’Gorman, has been slaughtered,in his own home at the weekend, Its so demonic the police men said entering the house was like walking through hell’s gates,What a heinous crime, Tom’s organs were removed and eaten clearly this looks like a ritualistic murder?

He was referring to Tom O’Gorman who, according to reports, was cut up by his murderer, who then ate his lungs and heart. O’Gorman was killed after a fight over a chess game.

The two officers sent to the scene of the crime have been traumatized, according to a report in the Irish Sun.

A police source told the paper, “Mr O’Gorman suffered an appalling death before his lung was removed and eaten by his killer.

“There was blood everywhere in the room. This was a brutal act of slaughter and appalling act of evil.

“The young officers who made the discovery are understandably very distressed. When they entered the house it was like walking through the gates of Hell.

“But they remained composed, secured the scene for evidence and arrested a suspect.”

It is believed the victim’s heart was also eaten.

Meanwhile, the Pro Life Campaign held a memorial prayer vigil for Tom O’Gorman in Dublin at St Teresa’s Church on Clarendon St.

“The tragic death of our dear friend Tom O’Gorman over the weekend has come as a huge shock and a painful loss to everyone in the pro-life movement,” the group said

“Tom was a truly loyal supporter of the Pro Life Campaign, always ready to put his very considerable talents in research, analysis and writing at the service of the pro-life cause. His reliable, meticulous work, humbly done behind-the-scenes, helped so many good things happen.

“Everyone who met him came away with an enhanced sense of their own worth born from the experience of his interest in them as a human being.

“In this, Tom was something of a phenomenon. He was a ‘people person’ par excellence and a kind man who loved meeting people and getting to know them and share their lives.

“ As the news of his death has spread on TV and social media, the outpourings of sadness and memories of his goodness are reflections of the huge circle of people he knew whose lives he touched.”

The Pro-life Ireland Facebook page has also paid tribute to Tom.

Police believe the 39-year-old pro-life campaigner is Ireland’s first ever known victim of cannibalism.

He was killed after a row erupted at his home in West Dublin, over the king being moved in a game of chess.

He suffered multiple knife wounds to his head and body but the report adds that detectives were shocked after discovering one of O’Gorman’s organs had been sliced from his body and eaten by his killer.

He was found lying in a pool of blood in a front sitting room after the alarm was raised in the early hours of Sunday morning.

O’Gorman worked as a journalist for Irish Catholic magazine The Voice and had been living at his family home after his mother, Anne, died 18 months ago. He had recently taken in a lodger.

The victim was also a researcher with Catholic lobby group the Iona Institute.

Iona Institute director David Quinn paid tribute to O’Connor. He said, “On behalf of everyone at The Iona Institute, I would like to express our total shock and deep sorrow at the terrible and untimely death of Tom O’Gorman. Tom was a friend as well as a work colleague to us all.

“Tom had been working as a researcher at the Iona Institute since its launch seven years ago.

“Most of us knew him from before then, in some cases all the way back to his days at UCD. He was a fond and dear friend and we will all miss him.

“We extend our commiserations to his family and above all to his sister and brother, Catherine and Paul. May Tom rest in peace.”

A 34-year-old man from Palermo, Sicily, who has been living in West Dublin for two years was arrested by police investigating the death. Savario Bellante was charged with the murder on Monday morning.

Police offered no explanation for what happened to the lung. Evidence suggested that O’Gorman’s prone head and body also were bludgeoned with a dumbbell.

Bellante called police to report the killing. He claimed to officers that he had cut open O’Gorman’s chest and tried to eat his heart after a dispute over a move in a chess match the two had been playing.

It is understood that Bellante’s face and clothes were covered in blood when officers arrived shortly before 2am on Sunday.

The editor of the Irish Catholic, Michael Kelly, paid tribute to Mr O’Gorman, who he called “a wonderful journalist”.

Mr Kelly said: “Tom was a wonderful man, a wonderful character. I mean he was great company, a great mimic.

Irish Times journalist: “Major Discrepancies in Praveen Halappanavar’s abortion story”

Posted in Ireland abortion with tags , , on December 4, 2012 by saynsumthn

Praveen Halappanavar’s story keeps changing, what is going on?
Irish Times exposed for pro-abortion sensationalism. Kitty Holland is the journalist. She is a daughter of the Irish Times journalist, Mary Holland, who wrote and campaigned for abortion rights in Ireland. Kitty’s dad is Eamonn McCann of the Socialist Workers party.
In an astonishing interview with Marc Coleman on Newstalk 106, Kitty Holland, the Irish Times journalist who broke the story of Savita Halappananvar’s tragic death, now says that the story may be ‘muddled’ and that it may be found that there was ‘no request for a termination’.

The Life Institute has said that these are ‘extraordinary admittances’ given the global hysteria raised by the sensationalist reporting of Savita’s death by the Irish Times.

The newspaper’s description of events led to an uproar when it was suggested that Savita had been allowed to die because of Ireland’s ban on abortion, and because of a supposed ‘Catholic ethos’ interfering with necessary medical treatment to save her life.

In the interview with the Coleman at Large programme, Kitty Holland was pressed on discrepancies in Irish Times reporting as to when Savita was started on antibiotics in Galway University Hospital.
She then said: “All one can surmise is that his recollection of events — the actual timeline and days — may be a little muddled… we only have Praveen and his solicitor’s take on what was in or not in the notes ….we’re relying all the time on their take on what happened… ”

“Oh, I’m not satisfied of anything. I’m satisfied of what he told me, but I await as much as anyone else the inquiry and the findings. I can’t tell for certain — who knows what will come out in that inquiry? They may come back and say she came in with a disease she caught from something outside the hospital before she even arrived in, and there was no request for termination.., ” she told the radio programme.

“But Holland and the rest of the Irish and international journalists never referred to any ‘muddled’ recollections or to the possibility that there ‘was not request for a termination’ when abortion campaigners were shrieking that Savita had died because she couldn’t get an abortion,” said Niamh UÍ Bhriain. “This has been the most cynical and deplorable exploitation of a tragedy that I have ever witnessed in my lifetime.”

“At a time when Indian newspapers are printing headlines saying that ‘Ireland Murders Pregnant Indian Dentist’ perhaps it is time for the truth to emerge from the Irish Times,” she added.

CDC – 12 women died in abortion related deaths according to latest survey

NEW YORK (November 21, 2012)–U.S. abortions fell 5 percent over a year from 2008 to 2009, the largest decrease in at least a decade, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday.

Those are the most recent government numbers available, the CDC said.

For 2009, a total of 784,507 abortions were reported from the 45 reporting areas that submitted data every year during 2000–2009. Comparing 2008 with 2009, this represents the largest single-year decrease in the total number (a decrease of 5% from 810,403) and rate (a decrease of 5% from 15.9 abortions per 1,000 women) of reported abortions.women in their 20s consistently accounted for the majority of abortions (56%–57%).

In the Abortion Surveillance — United States, 2009, released November 2012

In 2008, the most recent year for which data were available, 12 women were reported to have died as a result of complications from known legal induced abortions. No reported deaths were associated with known illegal induced abortions. Deaths of women associated with complications from abortions for 2009 are being investigated under CDC’s Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System. Keep in mind that all the deaths are not reported because they are often covered up by the abortion industry. In addition not every state or every abortion entity reported stats to the CDC.

This past summer, a 24 year old African American woman died following her abortion at Planned Parenthood.

Tonya Reaves, died late Friday July 20, 2012 from a hemorrhage, with a cervical dilation and evacuation, as well as an intrauterine pregnancy as contributing causes, according to the medical examiner’s office. She died after she’d had an abortion at Planned Parenthood at 18 S. Michigan Av, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Life Dynamics president, Mark Crutcher, is calling on Cook County Illinois State’s Attorney, Anita Alvarez, to immediately launch an investigation into the death of Tonya Reaves. He says the investigation is necessary to determine if criminal charges are warranted under the state’s “depraved indifference murder” statutes.

What is now known is that the Planned Parenthood abortionist ripped a hole in Ms. Reaves’ uterus and she began to hemorrhage. It is also known that the Planned Parenthood staff let her lie there for over five hours before they called an ambulance.

Crutcher says, “It is clear that Tonya’s life was less important to these people than the public relations hit they might take from her being hauled out of their facility on a stretcher. And so they just watched her bleed out. Imagine that the Chicago police shoot a 24-year-old man and leave him lying in the street without calling an ambulance. If that young man bleeds to death a few hours later, the public would be demanding that charges be brought against the officers involved whether the shooting was justified or not. And rightly so. Well, that certainly appears to mirror what happened here.”

Operation Rescue has posted the gruesome Medical Examiners Report of the Reaves death from Planned Parenthood here

Maurice Stevenson’s wife died of a blood infection in 2002 after undergoing an abortion at Planned Parenthood.

The Chicago Tribune asked Planned Parenthood about the death of Stevenson’s wife and they told the Tribune they could not confirm whether they had reported the 2002 death of Stevenson’s wife, only that it had reported the 2008 death of another patient.

The California Medical Board has suspended the license of a contract abortionist for Planned Parenthood who was already on probation pending an Aug. 2 hearing before an administrative law judge in Oakland.

The Medical Board issued an “interim suspension order” on July 25 against Dr. Jesse James Joplin who, according to Medical Board documents, has worked for Planned Parenthood for 27 years. He is currently a “supervising physician” for Planned Parenthood-Mar Monte, headquartered in San Jose.

This is not the first time Joplin has been in trouble with the Medical Board. His license was revoked in 1997, but the revocation was stayed and Joplin was placed on five years probation in connection with the death of one patient and the attempted abortion of a viable fetus on a 15-year-old girl.

Medical Board records show that Joplin was found to be guilty of “gross negligence and incompetence” in the April 1990 death of 26-year-old patient “Y.G.” Joplin, the Board’s records show, failed to act on the young woman’s high blood pressure and passing proteins in her urine. After she gave birth to a baby boy, “Y.G.” died from toxemia.

An Anaheim abortionist , Dr. Andrew Rutland, accused by the California Medical Board of homicide in the death of an abortion patient, has agreed to surrender his medical license for a second time. ( Read more here)

In 2010 The doctor who performed an abortion on Laura Hope Smith ,admitted that his actions led to her death while she was under his care.

In addition to receiving a jail sentence for pleading guilty to the criminal charge of involuntary manslaughter, Dr. Rapin Osathanondh, 67, settled a civil suit and will pay $2 million to Smith’s parents, Tom and Eileen Smith of Sandwich.

Non-Hispanic white women and non-Hispanic black women accounted for the largest percentages of abortions (37.7% and 35.4%, respectively), whereas Hispanic women and non-Hispanic women in the other races category accounted for smaller percentages (20.6% and 6.3%, respectively). Non-Hispanic white women had the lowest abortion rates (8.5 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years) and ratios (140 abortions per 1,000 live births), whereas non-Hispanic black women had the highest abortion rates (32.5 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years) and ratios (477 abortions per 1,000 live births).

The abortion rate decreased 7% for non-Hispanic white women (from 9.1 abortions per 1,000 women in 2007 to 8.5 in 2009) and 6% for Hispanic women (from 20.5 abortions per 1,000 women in 2007 to 19.3 in 2009) but only 1% for non-Hispanic black women (from 34.6 abortions per 1,000 women in 2007 to 34.2 in 2009).
