NARAL abortion rights head “I’m a pretty good faker”

An interview with Ilyse Hogue, in Cosmo quotes the NARAL president as saying, “There was a lot I didn’t know when I started. I’m a pretty good faker, but I would come out of meetings and be like, “I don’t know what that acronym means,” or realize that I had nodded my head at the wrong moment, when I should have been shaking it.”

NARAL Cosmo Iilyse Hogue

Okay- that statement is so loaded I won’t even address it except to say that most of the ardent abortion rights activists seem to be “faking it” with their facts- that is.

Hogue continues, “I think I made a lot of people nervous when I came in. The observation as a newcomer to anything is that some of the cultural norms don’t make sense. It was a challenge for me to say, “Why aren’t we using the word abortion?” or, “Why don’t we not give candidates a pass when they just check the pro-choice box but actually show them why it’s good to talk about it?” or, “Why don’t we point out that abortion is a medical procedure, and the values that drive us to fight for safe and legal abortion services are basic human values that are shared by a lot of people — freedom, equality, self-determination?” I said a lot of things that probably sounded naïve, and I got told a lot early on, “We’ve tried that before.” I respect that. What I never want to do is try something that’s been tried before without the lessons learned by previous attempts. But I also don’t want a leader who is not able to recognize that times change, and trying something with the wisdom of past attempts at a different moment can have radically different effects.”

Later in the interview, the woman who heads the organization which believes that sucking or dismembering unborn babies is a “right” said this, “at the end of the day, there is an intangible that we can tune into to instruct us about what’s right or wrong. If you trust it, it will lead you down the right path. Be willing to take risks. At the end of the day, we have so little to lose if we show how compassionate we are.”

Wait a minute here- did Hogue just imply that promoting abortion is compassionate ?

It sounded that way to me – but – then again Hogue’s a pretty good faker!

Last month the White House released their latest visitor log which reveals that the abortion industry has an open door to the Obama administration.

The October 2014 update reveals that Planned Parenthood president, Cecile Richards visited the White House, officially , most recently June 26,2014. Among the visitees listed were POTUS an acronym for President of the United States, Valerie Jarrett and David Plouffe.

A tweet posted by Cecile Richards in May of 2011 indicates that she met with Michele Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Nancy Keenan another abortion leader at a Women’s Leadership Forum.

In addition, Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL, the largest abortion lobbying group in the US also visited the White House several times. POTUS and Valerie Jarrett are among the visitees listed at the time of she logged in at the White House.

It is not clear what all the abortion advocate’s visits were for but a couple of tweets indicate that among her many visits Hogue also attended a few White House parties:

Ban then Force! The Abortion Election Strategy for 2016

Voters rejected nearly all of NARAL and Planned Parenthood’s political pro-choice candidates in the November 2014 elections and now abortion supporters begin to analyse.

2014 Election Red

Writing for RH Reality Blog, NARAL president, Ilyse Hogue, summarized the election results, “Pro-choice Democrats not only lost control of the Senate and lost ground in the House of Representatives; anti-choice GOP politicians won most of the hotly contested governor races and flipped several state houses.”

She continues, “As we sift through the debris from Tuesday night, we can cue the predictable hand-wringing and existential angst about why people vote against their own “self-interests.” But a deeper dive into the data indicates—at least on questions of reproductive freedom—that the picture is more complicated.”

No! It is quite simple: Abortion kills a baby and America has rejected this!

NARAL Prez Supports

Hogue then proceeds to lay out a program for gaining ground in future elections.

Hogue writes “Laying out this case is about more than soothing our bruises after a bad night. Understanding these dynamics is critical for us as advocates to leverage this often invisible advantage.”

Hogue has published her suggestions, five in total, which I affectionately label the The 5-step-program for abortion losers.

Number one according to the NARAL president: banning the term “social issues.”

NARAL five steps election

“Banning” seems to be an interesting use of verbiage from a group calling themselves “Pro-choice America” but I digress.

naral logo 2008 election

Hogue explains, “Ban the term “social issue” from our vocabulary: I’m not sure if there’s any such thing as a social issue, but I can tell you reproductive freedom and justice do not qualify. Sovereignty over one’s body and one’s life is an issue of fundamental freedoms and human rights. And let’s aggressively state the truth the candidates are hoping to avoid: There’s no such thing as economic security for women who do not have full access to reproductive freedom, and there’s no such this as reproductive freedom without economic security. Anti-choice politicians routinely vote to restrict abortion and contraception while also working to defeat common-sense measures that support parents in this country: equal pay, parental leave, and robust anti-pregnancy discrimination laws.”

At the same time abortion advocates are doing the whole BANNING thing – Hogue suggests they, “force the question in more races and in legislatures.”

What question? I thought we banned “social issues?” I am confused…..

Maybe Hogue can clear this up. From the article, “Force the question in more races and in legislatures: Anti-choice candidates and officials love it when we’re silent. They want nothing more than to fly under the radar on these issues. We need to be there all the time asking them where they stand on abortion access, why they think they know better than women and families about what’s best for us, and why they think it’s American to legislate their own morality on the rest of us. Those are tough questions to answer, which is why they would prefer not to. We need to force them to take tough votes on measures that don’t just protect our right to choose, but expand it.

Well…okay then…I get it.

Ban then force.

And there it is in a nutshell – the entire abortion strategy for 2016 !

Abortion the heart of gender equality implies NARAL week dead woman awaits her burial

Posted in Abortion Sacred, NARAL with tags , , , , , , on April 6, 2014 by saynsumthn

NARAL is one of the largest abortion lobbying organizations in the US. THe acronym stands for National Abortion Rights Action League.

So, is it any surprise that before the next woman killed by so-called safe and legal abortion is even put in the ground, NARAL’s president, Ilyse Hogue, would say this: “One reason I am so passionate about my new job at NARAL Pro-Choice America is because I know that reproductive freedom is the heart of gender equality.”

Reproductive freedom is synonymous with abortion

Abortion - gender equality

According to another abortion group, International Planned Parenthood, gender equality is the measurable equal representation of women and men.

Perhaps IPPF and NARAL think killing babies and some women from abortion is noble equality, But, I do not. It is somewhat expected to hear silence from the pro-choice community when a woman is killed from legal abortion. But the timing they choose to make abortion a sacred blessing as I blogged about earlier this week or call it the heart of gender equality shows their utter dis-concern for human life generally and women in particular.

LakishaWilson-webOn March 2014, Lakisha Wilson, 22, a Black female died after transport from an Ohio abortion clinic to the hospital.

Operation Rescue reported earlier that it had obtained 911 records that indicated a woman had died after an abortion at Preterm. Those records stated that she was “not breathing at all” and had suffered “Cardiac or Respiratory Arrest/Death.”

LaKisha’s funeral will be held on Monday, April 7 and NARAL’s prez didn’t wait until she was in the ground before praising abortion again.

Jennifer Morbelli Funeral

On February 7, 2013 Jennifer Morbelli died of complications she suffered after a 3rd trimester abortion at a Germantown, Maryland abortion clinic. According to an autopsy report, Morbelli died from Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation “due to or as a consequence of Amniotic Fluid Embolism following Medical Termination of Pregnancy,” making it clear that the abortion was the event that led to her death.

Remember Tonya WOmen Deserve Better

In 2012, another woman, Tonya Reaves died following her legal abortion at Planned Parenthood.

When 24-year-old Tonya Reaves climbed onto a table at a Planned Parenthood facility in Chicago for a “safe and legal” abortion she never knew she would be closing her eyes for the final time. What is now known is that the Planned Parenthood abortionist ripped a hole in Ms. Reaves’ uterus and she began to hemorrhage. It is also known that the Planned Parenthood staff let Tonya lie there for over five hours before they sought emergency care for her. Of course, by then it was too late. She had lost approximately 30 percent of her body’s total blood volume, before she died. Her family successfully sued Planned Parenthood.

The list of dead women from legal abortion goes on and on….but don’t let that stop you, Ms. Hogue from implying that abortion is the heart of that gender equality. Don’t bother actually being concerned for women…..why pretend?
