Congresswoman gives emotional response to horrifying Planned Parenthood vid on House floor, “Are we really going to tolerate this inhumanity?”

A stirring speech on the House Floor from a US Congresswoman decrying Planned Parenthood’s ghoulish selling of aborted baby body parts has been virtually ignored by the media.

U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) represents Alabama’s Second Congressional District.

Rep Martha Roby speaks Planned Parenthood

Following an undercover video conversation between the Center for Medical Progress and a top Planned Parenthood abortionist revealing how the tax funded organization chops up the babies they kill with abortion to harvest their body parts, Rep. Roby gave an emotional response.

The hidden camera video surfaced July 14,2015 showing Planned Parenthood senior director for medical services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing in chilling detail how abortion procedures can be altered to preserve hearts, lungs and livers so they can be sold.

While standing next to an enlarged screenshot of the video showing one of the more shocking exchanges, Rep. Martha Roby rose on the House Floor and said passionately:

“Mr. Speaker, I rise to raise awareness about a disturbing development.

“Today video surfaced of Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood’s senior director for medical services, admitting – in fact bragging – about the harvesting and trafficking of fetal organs after abortions.

At this point in the speech, the Alabama House member’s voice begins to quake as she expresses what she saw in that Planned Parenthood video.

To those who haven’t seen the video, I urge you and encourage you to watch it. But you need to be forewarned,” she advises.

The casual and callous way that she details how babies can be killed in such a way that their tiny hearts, lungs and livers can be taken and sold for profit is simply horrifying,” Rep. Roby says fighting back tears.

She continues:

To quote Doctor Nucatola “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver… so I’m not gonna crush that part,”

I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”

“This is one of those moments that – as a nation – we have to ask ourselves, “who are we?

“Are we really going to tolerate this inhumanity?

“Are we going to look the other way while babies are brutally killed and organs are harvested for profit?”

“These aren’t specimens they are babies for goodness sake!”

“I may only have one minute today. But I promise Mr. Speaker we’re not done talking about this, I yield back,” Rep, Roby said forcefully.

Rep. Roby is expressing what so many Americans are feeling after watching that tape. But, the media will ignore her. Had she been outraged that the Little Sisters of the Poor Catholic Nuns were not going to be forced to offer contraception in their health plans, the media would be all over it.

Had Rep. Roby given a speech about how a male talk-show host ridiculed her position on birth control, the media would do flip flops to air the speech.

If she had slipped on a pair of pink tennis shoes prior to her speech to filibuster a late term abortion ban, the media circus would have been stunning.

But, because Rep. Roby articulately spoke out for unborn babies and challenged the abortion media darling Planned Parenthood, despite her being a woman, she will be silenced or ignored.

But….not here!

Way to go Rep. Roby – you have my full respect!

Her words later with others: “No one is above the law”!

“We’re giving relief to people that I deal with in my office every day now unfortunately. But because of the longevity of this recession, these are people — and they’re not minorities and they’re not defective and they’re not all the things you’d like to insinuate that these programs are about — these are average, good American people.”

The 73-year-old Democratic House member was arguing this week in a joint House-Senate conference committee session for national expansion of a government assistance program to help financially beleaguered families avoid foreclosure on their homes.

He made his case that the money was not being wasted on defective people or minorities or those who had been imprudent. “They are not minorities,” the congressman said, “and they’re not defective… These are average, good American people.”

Congressman Neugebauer on Health Care, “this legislation will kill babies”

Neugebauer continues fight against abortion

Lubbock’s congressman sought campaign donations and cast his widely criticized outburst during Sunday’s health care debate as a renewed anti-abortion effort a day after issuing a defiant apology.

U.S. Rep. Randy Neugebauer, R-Lubbock, posted a video message to his web site late Monday describing the “government takeover of individual health care” and “the lives of unborn children used as a bargaining chip.”

Neugebauer apologized Monday for shouting “baby killer” as anti-abortion Michigan Democrat Rep. Bart Stupak gave critical support to the health care bill, which ultimately passed on a mostly party-line vote.

Neugebauer said he had referred to the health care bill itself and not Stupak, who had opposed the bill without stronger prohibitions against federal funding for abortions.
Representatives for Neugebauer’s office could not be reached late Tuesday afternoon.

Searches for “Neugebauer” on Google returned paid advertising that read “Join Randy Neugebauer/Protect the Unborn” and linked to the congressman’s web site.
The new YouTube video pledged to “continue to speak in the same passion that I spoke last night – maybe in a little bit different form.”

A message posted to the conservative Red State blog said to be from the congressman described Majority Whip James Clyburn’s call for Neugebauer to apologize on the House floor and “a clear mission” for what Neugebauer saw as an anti-abortion battle.

“While the floor of the House was the wrong place to shout out my objection, the fact remains that this legislation will kill babies,” the post attributed to Neugebauer read.

Neugebauer says he called out ‘baby-killer’ as Stupak spoke on House floor

3/22/10 By Paul Kane

Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-Tex.) acknowledged Monday that he yelled out “baby killer” as Democratic Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) urged his fellow Democrats to vote down a Republican amendment on abortion services in the health-care legislation. Neugebauer said he has apologized to Stupak and his congressional colleagues for the remark.

“Last night was the climax of weeks and months of debate on a health-care bill that my constituents fear and do not support. In the heat and emotion of the debate, I exclaimed the phrase ‘it’s a baby killer’ in reference to the agreement reached by the Democratic leadership. While I remain heartbroken over the passage of this bill and the tragic consequences it will have for the unborn, I deeply regret that my actions were mistakenly interpreted as a direct reference to Congressman Stupak himself,” Neugebauer said in a statement.

“I have apologized to Mr. Stupak and also apologize to my colleagues for the manner in which I expressed my disappointment about the bill. The House Chamber is a place of decorum and respect. The timing and tone of my comment last night was inappropriate,” he added.

The remark had drawn immediate shouts of derision from the Democratic side of the aisle, as Stupak is considered the leading anti-abortion Democrat and held out his support for the legislation until President Obama issued an executive order restating the ban on federal funding of abortion.

Rep. John Campbell (R-Calif.), initially suspected as the lawmaker who shouted the phrase, told reporters Sunday that he didn’t say it and believed that it came from a member sitting a row behind him, where the Texas Republicans usually sit. Campbell said he heard “a Southern accent”.

“The people who know won’t give it up,” Campbell told reporters.

He said the remark was “clear as a bell.”

Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas) said he heard the remark and said it did come from in the area of where the Texas and California delegations sit. He said he believes he knows who yelled it, but declined to say anymore.

“I can make a guess,” Barton said.

Neugebauer represents a North Texas district and has co-sponsored a bill to require presidential candidates to produce birth certificates to prove their eligibility for office.
