Planned Parenthood has just announced that $18.75 million in federal money has been granted to the eugenics founded abortion giant from the Office of Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) under HHS.

Last week, Life Dynamics reported that over 5.6 million dollars in federal money was allocated to various Planned Parenthood affiliates under a teen prevention program run by HHS.

That announcement came July 4, 2015 from the Office of Adolescent Health, which is responsible for implementing and administering the national, evidence based Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program.

You can read more on that here.

Now, a press release from the largest chain of abortion clinics has revealed that Planned Parenthood has also received $18.75 million in federal grant dollars from the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) which is under the Department of Health and Human Services.

It read:

Today, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI) received $18.75 million in federal grant funding from the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH). The funding will support capacity building assistance, deliver inclusive health care to reduce pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) youth and implement pregnancy prevention programs to those living in rural communities beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2020.

According to a separate Planned Parenthood release issued July of 2015, the money was issued to the Northwest Coalition for Adolescent Health (NWCAH), a group of Planned Parenthood affiliates covering a large portion of the western United States.

In 2010, NWCAH received $20 million in grant money from the HHS run Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) to replicate the Teen Outreach Program where, “NWCAH plans to target a diverse population of the highest risk youth in grades 7-12 in a mix of rural and urban communities. The program will reach over 8,000 youth over the five year project period.”

As Life Dynamics has previously documented , Planned Parenthood received half a billion in tax monies, in addition to the OAH grants.

COVERING CHILD RAPE

Child Pred Logo

HHS continues to funnel millions in federal dollars to the abortion clinic chain despite documented evidence that Planned Parenthood has covered for child sexual predators by not reporting pedophiles who take young victims to their facilities to cover up their crimes.

A 2002 undercover investigation along with a report published in 2014 by Life Dynamics shows a repeated disregard for the young victims of rape.

In just one example listed on the latest report, Life Dynamics writes:

Douglas Wayne Ring, 47, sexually assaulted “Wilma” from the time she was eight or nine until she was 20 resulting in three pregnancies.

At the age of 16, Ring forced her to have an abortion at a Houston-area Planned Parenthood.

Given that the abuse continued for many years afterward, it is clear the Planned Parenthood facility did not file a report.

Wilma eventually contacted the Angleton, Texas, police and Ring was arrested on multiple charges related to the sexual assault of a child.

In 2010, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

HHS gives Planned Parenthood over $5 million with grant money from Office of Adolescent Health

This blog has been exposing the Office of Adolescent Health otherwise known as OAH for a while.

It was created by the Obama Administration and operated under the division of the Health and Human Services Department and funded to the tune of $105 million.

Now, Life Dynamics has discovered that the OAH has allocated over 5 million dollars in federal grant money to various Planned Parenthood affiliates under a teen prevention program run by HHS.

TPP Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program Planned Parenthood

The announcement came July 4, 2015 from the Office of Adolescent Health, which is responsible for implementing and administering the national, evidence based Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program.

The TPP program is described by OAH as, “one of a growing number of federal programs that focus on providing evidence of what works, investing in new and innovative approaches, and fostering a culture of learning.”

The Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) was established in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health in 2010.

According to OAH:

OAH coordinates adolescent health promotion and disease prevention programs and initiatives across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and works in partnership with other HHS agencies to, “support evidence-based approaches to improve the health of adolescents.”

OAH operates grant programs aimed at reducing teen pregnancy and supporting expectant and parenting teens and maintains an evaluation portfolio associated with these grants. OAH operates a website with extensive resources regarding adolescent health and leads collaborative activities with other federal agencies and national groups that serve adolescents

Since the program’s inception, OAH has worked in collaboration with HHS’ Administration on Children and Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Reproductive Health to, “extend the reach of teen pregnancy prevention in targeted communities.”

According to OAH, a total of 81 organizations received the grant money to:

    Support replication of evidence-based TPP programs in multiple settings in communities with the greatest need;
    Increase capacity of organizations to implement evidence-based TPP programs focusing especially on serving especially vulnerable youth, including homeless youth, parenting youth and those in juvenile detention and foster care;

Support and foster early innovations to fill gaps in the knowledge of what works to prevent teen pregnancy; and

Develop and rigorously evaluate new, innovative approaches to combating teen pregnancy.

Grants for OAH’s 5 year program to run from 2015-2019 included abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

This is not the first time these OAH grant dollars have been given to Planned Parenthood, as Saynsumthn documents here.

In fact, I recently blogged about the program TeensRise, paid for by Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando and the Office of Adolescent Health.

Under that program, the abortion biz put together a recruitment video for African American teens in which they will be “Paid for Their Participation.” (read more here.)

Back to the new grant funding for 2015-2019:

A breakdown of the $5,679,657.00 grant dollars to the abortion business is detailed below:

Under what OAH labels their Tier1A, “Capacity Building to Support Replication of Evidence- Based TPP Programs” they gave $750,000 to Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest Seattle Washington for “vulnerable youth.”

In OHA’s Tier 1B, “Replicating Evidence-Based TPP Programs to Scale in Communities with the Greatest Need ” program, three Planned Parenthood affiliates received almost $3,000,000 in grant money:

Planned Parenthood uses the grant money and the federal tax dollars to line the pockets of their board members, presidents and directors of their abortion centers with six-digit salaries.

A document filed by Planned Parenthood to the IRS shows that their president, Cecile Richards, took home a salary of $451,752 plus $31,405 in compensation from related organizations and $107,771 in other compensation from Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood does not need more funding to conquer their goal of “making abortion normal” and this is just one more example of how the American people are being financially raped to fund abortion.

Pittsburgh school board won’t protect children from Planned Parenthood sex ed

From the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette:

A proposal to set up a memo of understanding with Planned Parenthood for sex education of middle school students won approval tonight from the board of Pittsburgh Public Schools.

The 6-1 vote came after board member Mark Brentley Sr. raised opposition, criticizing the history of Planned Parenthood, questioning what its role would be in the schools and saying it would put students at risk. Only Mr. Brentley voted in opposition. Members Terry Kennedy and Sherry Hazuda were absent.

Board president Thomas Sumpter said that history included eugenics, but he said board members needed to consider whether it was offering a good program for students today.

Dara Ware Allen, assistant superintendent for student support services, said she has reviewed all 24 modules — 12 for grade 7 and 12 for grade 8 — and said they addressed helping students to identify risky behavior, setting personal boundaries and practicing skills to avoid risky behavior.

She said that abortion is not part of the curriculum, that the curriculum emphasizes abstinence and that it is in keeping with the district’s program. Parents can opt their children out of the program, which would be taught alongside the classroom teacher.

Ms. Allen said Planned Parenthood is seeking a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the program. It is expected the organization will know whether it got the grant in July.

I was curious when I read about the grant and I wonder if if has anything to do with this (here)

Planned Parenthood has been a recipient of HHS grants many times before:

2012 Competitive Personal Responsibility Education Program Grant Awards

Florida Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Grantees

Virginia Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Grantees

Connecting the Hard-to-Reach with Pregnancy Prevention

Family Planning Grants:

HHS grants for Title X Family Planning Program

TeensRISE!

Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region received a grant of $395,000 a year to provide Title X Family Planning services.

There are many more, including Navigator grants to promote ObamaCare.

To Board president Thomas Sumpter I say that Planned Parenthood was seeped in Eugenics as I point out here and here.

In addition, Planned Parenthood has explicit sexual content they direct at children which I document here and here among other places.
