Lying to women: First-trimester abortion presentation shows recognizable aborted body parts

NAF Document shows aborted fetuses

Images of abortion victims recently unearthed in what appears to be a presentation connected to the largest professional association of abortion providers prove the humanity of the preborn child. While the abortion industry tells women that their preborn children are mere ‘clumps of cells,’ the images below reveal that they’ve always known the truth: preborn children, even in the first trimester, are recognizable as human beings.

Warning: The images below may be disturbing.

The 2009 slide presentation, “The Basics of First-Trimester Surgical Abortion Workshop,” is clearly marked “National Abortion Federation” (NAF) and indicates that it was either created by NAF or created for a NAF event.

The document does not refer to the preborn child as a baby, but rather as “the product of conception,” “specimen,” or “the pregnancy.” It instructs abortion providers to examine the “pregnancy tissue” because doing so “1) Assures that the pregnancy was successfully removed 2) Confirms your estimation of the stage of pregnancy and 3) May provide evidence of abnormal pregnancy.”

To do this, the document suggests three methods:

  • Strain the aspirate.
  • Float the specimen in water.
  • Use backlighting.

NAF Slide straining and backlighting the products of pregnancy

In “Tissue Examination,” the document instructs on how to identify the so-called products of conception, stating,  “Understanding what tissue to expect at various gestational ages will help in determining when you have successfully emptied the uterus.”

The majority of abortions are committed before the fourteenth week of pregnancy but women are not always given accurate information about fetal development at that stage, especially early in pregnancy.

  • According to Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate” and research arm, the Guttmacher Institute, “Two-thirds of abortions occur at eight weeks of pregnancy or earlier; 89% occur in the first 12 weeks.”
  • The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that the majority abortions are committed at or less than the thirteenth week of pregnancy.

READ: First trimester babies aren’t blobs of tissue — they’re amazingly complex

According to the 62-page presentation, fetal remains after a first trimester abortion would be visible as follows.

Three to seven weeks:  “Trophoblastic villi, (which are cells that form the outer layer of a blastocyst) will be “cottony,” fluffy, white, and nearly transparent… No Embryo.”

Eight weeks: “May see fetal parts, digits will still be webbed.”

Nine weeks: “Fragmented or intact fetal parts, including elbows and knees, digits no longer webbed.” The slide (image below) appears to show extremities, such as part of an arm and hand.

Ten to twelve weeks: “Fetus—at this point you should see all 4 limbs and other skeletal and somatic parts (ribs, vertebrae, calvarium, intestine, heart, eye spots, etc.)” Slide below:

Planned Parenthood’s abortion videos show how deceptive the abortion industry can be in their portrayals of the preborn child. The video shows the child as a “dot”:

Even though privately, some abortion industry workers admit that aborted children have recognizable body parts, they tell their “customers” it looks nothing like a baby. However, additional images of fetal remains included in the “first trimester” document (without specification to weeks) disprove this claim and can be seen in the images below:

NAF Slide first trimester abortion 2. Visible are a ribcage, arms, and legs.

NAF Slide first trimester abortion 3. Visible are arms and hands.

Despite numerous denials that pro-life images are authentic pictures of aborted preborn children, these images, published by abortion insiders, are markedly similar to those published by Citizens for a Pro-life Society, Created EqualCenter for Bio-ethical Reform (CBR), and others, including some published by Live Action News. Despite the marketing deception from the abortion industry, they are clear and undeniable evidence that what is being “aborted” are not merely “products of conception” but tiny beautifully formed human beings deserving of protection.

Abortion profiteers often tell women that the preborn child is not identifiable — and in some cases, after being removed and torn apart by high-powered suction, that may be true, but only AFTER the abortion.

Below is a picture of Baby Riley, who was miscarried at seven-and-a-half weeks. Of course, any child aborted at this stage of pregnancy, when their tiny soft tissue is pulled apart by a high powered suction machine will most likely appear unidentifiable.

Baby Riley

The truth is that, prior to that, a fetal heartbeat can be detected as early as five to six weeks gestation (3-4 weeks post-fertilization).

Stunning images of fetal development at the earliest stages of life have been published at Live Action News, which you can view here.

Abortion scheme on college campus: purchase public sidewalk to censor pro-life speech

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on November 23, 2015 by saynsumthn

An exhibit at an Ohio campus, which shows images of abortion victims, has sparked such a controversy that so-called “liberal” students unsuccessfully collaborated to censor the pro-life message by suggesting they purchase the sidewalk to shut down the protest completely. The pro-life group Created Equal which brings the truth of abortion to college campuses across the nation, said their exhibit of abortion victim images at the Campus Center location at Otterbein college was on public property owned by the city of Westerville.

Created Equal abortion protests Otterbein

Seth Drayer, spokesperson for Created Equal said that the student government of the liberal college is set to purchase the public sidewalk to curb their First Amendment rights. This would have been unheard of years ago when the so-called Free Speech Movement on college campuses was born. In 1964, 60’s activists gathered on Sproul Plaza at the University of California Berkley to protest the school’s shutting down their political views.

Jo Freeman at the University of Illinois at Chicago describes that time in history this way: “By the time Berkeley Chancellor Clark Kerr became University President in 1958, student groups could not operate on campus if they engaged in any kind of off-campus politics, whether electoral, protest or even oratorical. At the Berkeley campus students spoke, leafleted and tabled on the city sidewalk at the campus edge. When the campus border was moved a block away, this activity moved with it…”

Enter 2015, when politics are clearly permitted on campus, the only question is, whose politics and views will be allowed? In Ohio, the message is clear – no pro-life viewpoint will be tolerated on the campus of Otterbein University in Westerville. This was reinforced by the student newspaper, Otterbein360 which reported that the campus climate subcommittee discussed the purchase of the sidewalk at its Oct. 26 meeting after the Campus Center sidewalk was used twice this year by Created Equal to, “stage protests including images of aborted tissue on public property, where speech is currently regulated by a public instead of a private entity.”

Why the censorship of the pro-life group?

According to a member of the student government, Elise Woods, it makes students unhappy, telling the paper that “for the abortion protests, I just noticed that when those specific people, that group, is on campus, it makes the campus climate…people get very unhappy,”she said according to the newspaper,” she said.

But, Conner Dunn, vice president of student government, was slightly more reasonable – slightly being the operative word, telling the student body that, “Buying up the sidewalks is an alright idea. Unless we buy all of Otterbein’s sidewalks, it wouldn’t stop much, they would just go to a different part of campus.”

Mark Harrington, founder of Created Equal responded to the censorship plan by stating, “The insane “Safe Space” coddling cultures of Mizzou and Yale are not anomalies. Created Equal has observed an entire generation of young people who are willing to take increasingly drastic measures to punish anyone with ideas they dislike! Recently, Otterbein University’s student government (through their “Student Experience and Campus Climate Committee,” whose purpose is to “address campus climate”) applied for a grant to buy the very ground we stand on to conduct peaceful outreach! This purchase would transfer sidewalk ownership from public to private, giving Otterbein the rights to kick us off of the sidewalk, because “[our display] makes the campus climate… very unhappy.”

Created Equal Otterbein abortion prolife 2

Seth Drayer said this is not the first time students tried to censor their pro-life message on this campus. In 2013, a student attempted to knock over signs showing pictures of the victims of abortion, the preborn child in the womb.

Created Equal COllege abortion

In 2015, another Otterbein student recruited a “bed sheet brigade” to try to censor the images. Another stood in the street in front of Created Equal’s Truth Truck and JumboTV trailer to temporarily stop it from circling the campus.

“Students themselves, who throughout time have railed against “The Man” to fight for free speech, are trading in this American treasure for thirty pieces of silver—or, in the case of Otterbein, thirty feet of concrete.” Drayer said. “They do this under the guise of creating “safe spaces” free from reminders of emotional pain (i.e., “triggers”).”

Harrington told 10TV that even if Created Equal didn’t have the option of sidewalks, the group would still get its message out, “The more they try to censor us–bed sheets, knocking over signs, trying to purchase a public sidewalk–it’s not going to deter us,” he said.

Created Equal Otterbein abortion prolife

But, despite the desire to purchase the sidewalk and shut down Created Equal’s display, the city of Westerville told abortion supporters that the sidewalks were not for sale.

“Public sidewalks are public infrastructure and generally they don’t go up for sale the same way private property would or a house might go up for sale,” said Christa Dickey, community affairs administrator for the city of Westerville.

Created Equal said they will continue speaking the truth of abortion on college campuses. Meanwhile, Otterbein students in favor of censoring the pro-life message should reflect on the 1960’s Free Speech protests at Berkley and understand that speech should be protected not silenced.

The words of Lynn Hollander Savio, a senior at Berkeley in October of 1964, contradicts censorship attempts from Otterbein abortion supporters. Years after the Free-Speech Movement on campus was birthed, Hollander Savio reinforced the need to protect political speech on campus when she told told NPR, “ We gave youth in America a sense that political and social action is something that you can and should be involved in…” she said.

Houston Planned Parenthood responds to vid as ambulance takes patient from abortion center

A Houston pro-life group is reporting that on the same day that the Center for Medical Progress released video of a Houston Planned Parenthood employee calling babies they harvest for organs “intact fetal cadavers” an ambulance was summoned to the abortion clinic.

Although there is no confirmation that the emergency call was to assist an abortion patient, as yesterday’s videos indicted, a major part of the clinic’s business is abortion.

Writing on their Facebook page Houston Coalition for Life states:

A patient on a gurney was rushed away from the Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast this afternoon! This is the10th Ambulance we have seen in 2015! Considering IV in progress and the track record of 911 calls we have heard thus far from this facility, it is highly likely the patient was suffering from a botched abortion! Please pray for all who were involved!

These emergency calls are not knew.

Earlier this year, pro-lifers documented four ambulance calls over a 30 day period to Houston’s Planned Parenthood mega center.

Yesterday, The Center for Medical Progress released another video showing Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, at the abortion-clinic headquarters of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston, Texas.

Farrell admitted to what she thought were “buyers” of baby organs that six of the abortion facility’s doctors abort babies beyond 16 weeks.

She also suggested that the clinic altered the abortion procedure to get “intact specimens” otherwise known as human unborn babies.

Perhaps the most horrific part of the video was when CMP investigators were taken back to Planned Parenthood’s pathology lab where an assistant took aborted babies from a freezer.

Planned-Parenthood-Gulf-Coast-freezer

Ben Johnson over at LifeSite News described the interaction:

The last several minutes of the video again shows graphic footage of the investigators inside the laboratories of the Houston abortion facility, combing through the body parts of a 20-week-old baby.

“It was a twin,” an employee says as she retrieves the remains from the refrigerator.

Clearly developed hands and feet are seen in the dish, as the investigator pulls out a lung with a pair of tweezers.

On their website, PPGC brags about about the facility having dry ice and freezers:

Dedicated Research exam room with colposcope, digital scale, ECG and Ethernet
Coordinator offices with restricted/locked access, fax machine, computer access with multiple data jacks, ample cabinet space for paper CRFs, ambient drug storage locker
Laboratory with dry ice, multiple centrifuges, microscopes, refrigerators and freezers
Office space for Monitors which include data jacks
    Space sufficient for group enrollment
    On-site document archive facilities

In addition: they mention, “Donated Fetal Tissue” under the headline: Expertise:

PPGC-Fetal-Tissue

Responding to the taped footage, Melaney A. Linton, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast released a statement which reads in part:

“The footage released today doesn’t show Planned Parenthood staff engaged in any wrongdoing or agreeing to violate any legal or medical standards. Instead, the latest tape shows an extremely offensive intrusion and lack of respect for women, with footage of medical tissue in a lab. These extremists show a total lack of compassion and dignity for women’s most personal medical decisions.

    PPGC Statement

“The video released today will be difficult for many people to see. Medical procedures and medical research are often difficult to watch. The video shows a Planned Parenthood staff member with an actor posing as a medical researcher handling fetal tissue in a lab. It is standard medical practice to review tissue to ensure the health and safety of patients, and this tissue was being examined and handled under the false pretense of a standard laboratory site visit for people purportedly conducting qualified medical research.”

Center-for-Medical-Progress-YouTube-content-warning

The video, which includes the graphic images of Planned Parenthood’s aborted children, has been viewed almost half a million times so far with YouTube now adding a content warning before it to be viewed.

CMP’s lead investigator, David Daleiden, was on Fox with Sean Hannity last night to discuss the latest video.

Hannity-David-Daleidon-CMP-Planned-Parenthood

Daleiden told Hannity that the procedure being used could be causing babies to be born alive.

Calling born alive infants the “dirty little secret of the abortion industry,” Daleiden told Hannity, that “Whenever we’re talking about fetal tissue harvesting,m we’re talking about cases where no feticide and no digoxin, no poison was used. And, if at the same time you’re trying to get those fetuses out as intact as possible, you’re creating a perfect storm for for there to be born alive infants.” he said.

He said there are 7 more videos yet to be released!

Church member to abortion protesters “You are not welcome to hold that sign in front of my church”

Anti-abortion protesters upset that a church is only blocks away from the last remaining abortion clinic in Jackson, Mississippi showed up to protest in front on Palm Sunday.

Protesters held signs depicting abortion victims outside Fondren Presbyterian Church, part of the PCUSA denomination which supports abortion.

Mississippi has been the target of several protest groups this week from Abolish Human Abortion, Operation Save America, Survivors and others protesting the last remaining abortion clinic in the state.

Pat McEwen, a representative of Operation Save America, told the Clarion Ledger that the group was not responsible for the protests on Sunday morning, though. “We got into town on Sunday night,” she said.

McEwen also said her group no longer protests outside churches by handing out tracts and holding graphic signs. She said her group found that such approaches were unsuccessful and therefore changed their tactic.

The man who uploaded the video, identified himself as Dorsey Carson and can be heard telling protesters outside Fondren Presbyterian Church that they were “yelling at his congregants.

Carson told the protesters, “I’m going to have you arrested.”

Protesters seemed undeterred and the video does not show if police showed up or not.

I have since discovered this response from the pastor at another church where protests were held- read it here.

Protesting churches is controversial within the ranks of those who oppose abortion.

Angry parents react to abortion abolitionist at Santa Fest

Posted in AHA, pro-choice violence with tags , , , , , , , , , , on December 8, 2014 by saynsumthn

It was a mixed crown of those who said they opposed abortion and those who vehemently supported abortion when a woman belonging to the Abolitionist Society of Tampa set up graphic abortion victim signs outside a parade of children in Florida.

Tweet AHA Tampa

Showing up at Tampa’s Holiday Parade and Santa Fest was an intentional move for the abolitionist as one of their tenants includes agitating the culture. On their national website they state, “Abolitionists make a practice of bringing the darkness of abortion out into the light of day. This means putting the horrors of abortion on display before the happy-go-lucky world.”

santafest_newlogo

Abolitionists are NOT pro-life. In fact they usually agitate the pro-life community to the point that many who followed them in their early stages have since distanced themselves from “abolition.” It is important to make this distinction when reporting on abolitionists as they will often rebuke you if you imply any associations with them and the pro-life movement.

Showing graphic images in public originates in the pro-life movement who has been faithfully exposing the culture to to the horrors of abortion since its legalization. The fact that the public today is largely pro-life today is a direct result of the pro-life movement’s dedication to exposing this evil. It is in fact, due to the sacrificial determination of pro-life people that these images of abortion victims even exist. Despite their disdain for the pro-life movement, abolitionists across the country have no problem using the images they accumulate from pro-life people who share them openly.

AHA Prochoice attack Tampa Header

On the day of the parade, several people approached the abolitionist objecting to her tactics. Although some said they supported the protester but begged her to not show such graphic images near children, others opposed the message altogether even taking matters into their own hands to censor her.

One pro-choice woman kept pushing the demonstrator with her sign, another punched the camera with a police officer nearby and yet another actually carried off the signs – then threw then into a pile telling the anti-abortion woman, “My children don’t need to see this.”

Being attacked for showing babies that have been horrifically aborted is not new. There is much debate among pro-lifers on this tactic. Yet, today, many groups within the pro-life movement advocate the use of these images in public venues.

The wisdom of using such images intentionally where there are children around is an entirely different matter. Some believe that exposing children to the horrors of abortion at an early age cements their opposition to child killing for the rest of their lives. Others think that doing such a thing without parental permission is harmful.

What do you think? Do you believe this abolitionist was out of line in her activism at this children’s parade or do you support her?

The impact of seeing abortion victim images from Created Equal

A group put together by Chasing New Jersey, a news broadcast which airs on Fox29 Philly, reveals the impact that showing graphic abortion images has on those never exposed to the truth of what killing babies in the womb looks like.

In the film, young people watch a video of an abortion shown publicly on a jumbotron by the pro-life group, Created Equal, recently in Philadelphia at the Liberty Bell Mall.

Jumbotron Created Equal

The responses are very telling for those who criticize abortion imagery !

Several viewers turn their heads and some gasp.

Others hide their eyes.

One is heard saying, “Wow! Graphic!

Another viewer: “Disturbing!”

Another, “Difficult!”

The host says, “that is as quiet as this room has ever been.”

A women responds, “there’s’ nothing to say, it’s absolutely heartbreaking.”

The group debates whether showing these images and videos in a public venue is good. Some say yes others no – some think it is only a free speech issue – others want it banned.

The over-all effect of what Created Equal did by showing these abortion images can be summarized by this viewer who said, “Regardless of how you feel on the issue, if their goal was to get you to invoke these emotions, then these visual images for the word abortion – then they did a great job. I’m never going to forget that for the rest of my life.”

watch:

The use of abortion victim imagery is debated among pro-life people. However, pro-choicers are scared of it.

carol-costello-CNN portrait-left-teaseThis week, CNN Journalist Carol Costello who anchors the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET edition of CNN’s “Newsroom” each weekday, asked why women who have abortions aren’t using extreme methods like these to promote abortion?

“Abortion rights activists have told me that such “extremist tactics” have been an effective tool of the anti-abortion side of the debate for decades. If the group, Created Equal, can project bloody, allegedly aborted fetuses on a 10-by-12-foot screen next to Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell to try and prove that abortion is murder, then why shouldn’t women who have abortions use extreme methods to try and prove it’s not,” Costello stated.

Not Alone

Sherry Merfish founder of the Not Alone project, an abortion effort to encourage women to share stories of killing their children without regret, suggested that women telling their abortion story will keep people from thinking about the “proverbial bloody fetus.”

“We’re not saying that every person will make a video, but the ones who do will offer encouragement to other people to tell their story. By telling your story to anyone, you are combating the stigma. You are eradicating stigma as a woman who is open about her life and instructs others to do the same. So that the next time someone says the word ‘abortion,’ the hope is that that person you told won’t think about the proverbial bloody fetus, they instead will think about you: a person who they love and respect and made this decision,” Merfish stated.

While the pro-life community continues to debate using abortion victim images, it would appear that the pro-choice community knows their impact is working, just say’n !

Image of father loving unborn child among those flagged as “violent” on facebook

A Black pro-life organization has had three facebook images flagged as “graphic violence” !

One of those images depicts a father loving his unborn child:

Images reported as graphic violence

Ryan Bomberger is an Emmy® Award-winning Creative Professional who founded The Radiance Foundation (TRF), a life-affirming 501(c)(3), along with his wife, Bethany.

RyanBombergerRadiance

Working in conjunction with noted national civil rights leaders like Dr. Alveda King (niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.), Ryan is involved in national efforts to expose and defund Planned Parenthood and document how abortion is destroying the Black community. Sometimes Ryan’s thoroughly researched and pointed remarks rile establishment folk, like the nation’s oldest civil rights organization that took legal action against Radiance and Ryan personally for parodying their name.

So, it was no surprise to this blogger that Ryan and his Radiance Foundation have become a target of those who hate his pro-life views.

According to a post The Radiance Foundation placed on their facebook page, “Someone reported that three of our posted images depict “graphic violence.
Radiance Foundation Ryan Bomberger Images reported

Two of the three images are anything but violent. One is a 4th of July meme and the other says “We will not be silenced!” :

I Love Freedom - useWe will Not be Silenced

The third image is the antithesis of “graphic Violence.”

It is a beautiful depiction of a father expressing love for his unborn baby:

Fatherhood Begins in Womb

Perhaps the person who flagged these images is just a jerk or is pro-abortion and hates Ryan’s positive pro-life position.

But it is disturbing that a person is able to flag completely innocent posts in an effort to harass an organization.

It will be interesting to see how facebook responds to this.
