Gratitude for Amazing Wonder of Life this Thanksgiving

Posted in Carole OpEd, OP-Ed with tags , , , , , on November 29, 2015 by saynsumthn

At this time of year we often reflect on our blessings and we summarize all that the Divine Creator has done for us. But, as we try to recall all the ways we have been blessed, we should pause in gratitude for life itself. Often, we take for granted the beauty of life and the very complicated design that fashions our very core. The intimate and detailed way we were formed in the womb with the loving and tender hands of our Creator shows that the very essence of life is a gift beyond measure.

The human body is full of secrets we have yet to discover. The intricate details of every cell, organ and bone point to an ordered and intelligent designer who intended every human for a rich and complete purpose on this earth. The uniqueness of each individual forces us to step back in awe at the very suggestion that this could have taken place by chance, which of course, it did not. Each human person has been fashioned with expert precision in the womb to emerge and testify of amazing discoveries within the human body.

The human eye alone is so fascinating that when Armenian physics teacher Suren Manvelyan photographed the “window to the soul” he described them as the ‘surfaces of unknown planets.’

Medical Daily reports that our eyes can actually distinguish between 2.3 to 7.5 million colors. They say that when we put our hands together, we capture roughly the size of our heart as it beats 100,000/day, pumping 5.5 liters with each pulse, which is close to 3 million liters of blood every year. If a person were to live to 75, it would fill 90 Olympic size swimming pools, medical daily reported.

More amazing facts here.

Amazingly, just one drop of human blood contains about 10,000 white blood cells and 250,000 platelets and about 10,000 human cells can fit on the head of a pin. In addition, the human liver has an amazing ability to grow back if part of it is removed due to injury, disease, or surgery. It will even grow to be just the right size for the body it’s in. According to Discovery, every seven years a healthy human body completely replaces every single bone cell which keeps our bones incredibly strong and uniquely adaptable. Pound for pound the Human bone is stronger than concrete. It has the strength to weight ratio found in no other known material on earth. It’s secret lies inside: it is a matrix of hollow cells, Discovery says. And surprisingly, half of our bone mass is soft and flexible not hard as would be expected.

The human lung sucks in 70 quarts of air each minute we exercise says, National Geographic. The lungs pull in oxygen from the air and deliver breadth to 1500 miles of airways. The human brain is describe by National Geographic as the most complex object on earth, containing up to 100 billion neurons and nerve cells.

The reproductive system creates new life, each human begins as two single cells, an egg cell from the mother and a sperm cell from the father. The fertilized egg carries the preborn baby’s genetic code. The genes are arranged in chains like a string of pearls called DNA.Every time a cell splits during the fetus’s development, it creates an identical copy of itself in each cell. Each cell carries the genetic code that holds all of the fetus’s traits. (SOURCE)

There are many additional facts like these and they all point to how fascinating the human body is. This is reason to be thankful. In a day when legalized abortion threatens the continuation of this miracle, we reflect with gratitude on life’s wonder. As we assemble with our families this Thanksgiving, as we watch parades and enjoy a meal full of bounty we can celebrate life by reflecting on the incredible design of every human person. We can show our gratitude by not taking life for granted and by protecting every life as the priceless gift of wonder that it truly is.

Undercover at a pro-choice lunch: Mission accomplished !

I bent down, my heart was racing, as I whispered in her ear…

No, this is not the first sentence of a romance story.

Well…maybe.

I was young and outspoken against abortion and I was new to town.

While at my sister’s house we heard that Planned Parenthood was attempting to get a program through the school sports department.

Sneaky, huh?

So, I agreed to go to the school board meeting to oppose Planned Parenthood. I was not alone, as hundreds of other concerned citizens filled the school auditorium that evening.

It was odd how the podium faced away from the board members who were to the back of anyone speaking. And I watched as one by one people spoke against the program while the board members talked and giggled from their table behind them.

I was outraged.

Now, it was my turn.

As I started speaking, I turned to see who in the school board was listening and there she was, the biggest offender of all, a known Planned Parenthood advocate who was laughing and talking and unaware I was starring her down.

As I turned completely around to face the board, and stopped talking, it got very quiet in that auditorium.

Silence is loud and soon the entire audience was looking at her- she finally looked up and I said, “I thought you were supposed to listen to us? If you want to talk, I can wait.”

The school board member turned three shades of red and remained quiet the rest of the night!

Fast forward a few years.

I came across an advertisement, from Voices for Choice, holding their monthly luncheon.

Topic is Planned Parenthood and the CHPA program – a children’s health insurance program for low income families.

Hmmm, I thought, I need to go to this.

So, I asked around for someone to go with me and…no one is available.

This mission – should you choose to accept it….

top-secret

Well, okay then. It’s just me in a room full of pro-choice people, I guess that’s an even match.

As I made my way up the stairs, I got nervous. I entered the room and looked around.

I need to remain inconspicuous, I thought as I sized up the room.

Where can I sit?

There she was, an old lady in a wheelchair. I headed her way. She looks harmless enough.

I walked up to her, she said , “Would you like to sit here?”

Yes,” I replied.

And I sat down next to her and took a deep breath thinking- “great- so far so good.”

Not so fast…

Turns out, my new elderly friend was a professor, I mean a feminist professor from the University of Miami, I believe she described herself as the “Matriarch of the South Florida Feminist Community.”

GULP!

She immediately saw me as “new blood’ a potential convert to her cause and she wasted no time in shoving her propaganda at me beginning with an article from the magazine, “American Atheist” talking about how all Christians and pro-lifers should be thrown in prison…for good!

Did I mention we were officially sitting at the head table?

Did I forget to mention one of the speakers was none other then that county school board member I had embarrassed a few years prior?

Double Gulp!

Honey, can you get me a cup of coffee?” the sweet elderly feminist professor in the wheelchair who wanted pro-lifers put in prison asked me.

“Sure, no problem
,” I said.

One by one the notables arrived and I was in the center of the “in-crowd” of “Voice for Choice.”

My new elderly friend had opened all sorts of doors for me that day.

As the school board member arrived, I tried to hide my head slightly – and she looked at me- and kept…WHEW!

She did not recognize me.

And there I was, with their permission, I tape recorded the entire lunch.

Mission accomplished.

Or…so I thought!

Honey, would you mind taking me to the restroom?”

“Can you grab me another coffee?

“I need the restroom again.”

Seemed I had become the elderly feminist matriarch’s personal assistant/servant.

As the hours passed by, I never did become totally comfortable.

I was one glance away from someone remembering me from the sidewalk of the local abortion clinic where I regularly sidewalk counseled.

By the end of the meeting, I had the Intel I came for.

“Sweetie, would you mind taking me downstairs to my van?”

No, not at all,” I said.

And, I did.

We entered the elevator, 3rd floor…2nd floor…1st floor…bing…bing…bing…the door opened.

As we made our way outside the building I noticed a van with one of those hydraulic lifts.

“There it is
,” she said.

I was almost out of there…almost safe.

As I wheeled my new elderly feminist matriarchal friend who hated Christians to her van, I said a silent prayer to myself.

Then I bent down, my heart was racing… as I whispered in her ear, “It was a pleasure serving you today. Jesus loves you and so do I. Have a great day.”

And with that, I walked away and never looked back.

That day has always been a bitter-sweet memory for me.

As I reflected my first thought was “God, you have a real sense of humor.

And then I realized He had set me up.

He placed me in that meeting all alone. He had me see who I thought would be the least likely person to be aggressive, then placed me at the head table, and had me serve an elderly lady who despised Christians and pro-lifers all day.

As I further reflected, I had to wonder how much God loved her to send me in there to tell her so.

And, I knew at that moment how much He must also love me!

Mission accomplished.

This is one of many soon to be published in my “stories from the front lines” series. Stay tuned for more.

“Abortion Ministry?” – Using God to pitch child killing

Posted in Abortion Sacred, Abortion Using God, Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood church, Planned Parenthood Clergy with tags , , , , , , , , , , on August 1, 2014 by saynsumthn

A Mississippi abortion doctor who kills babies all day long has once again used GOD to market his business.

In an Esquire article posted this week, which highlights the abysmal practices of abortionist Willie Parker, titles the story the Abortion Ministry of Dr. Willie Parker.

Abortion Ministry Willie Parker Esq

Excuse me- Abortion Ministry? Are you kidding? How is the brutal murder of unborn children all-of-a-sudden a ministry?

The abortionist calls his decision to give up his career to become an abortion his “come to Jesus.”

The protesters say they’re opposed to abortion because they’re Christian,” Parker says. “It’s hard for them to accept that I do abortions because I’m a Christian.

To add insult to injury- the pro-abortion website posing as a news outlet interviewed abortionist Parker who said this, “I see women who are crying because they are Christians,” he continues, “and they are torn up by the fact that they don’t believe in abortion but they’re about to have one. What I tell them is that doesn’t make you a hypocrite. You can never say what you will do until you’re in the situation, and Christians get in jacked-up situations, too.”

Willie Parker ESQ July 31 2014 Abortion Ministry

What is hilarious is buried in the article is also this observation by Parker, “That’s why I think religious preoccupation with abortion is largely about controlling the sexuality of women.”

And Manipulating women for profit is just what the abortion industry plans to do. And the best way- USE GOD….

Following the Esquire report, Slate headlined their article: The Christian Compassion of Dr. Willie Parker, the Doctor at Mississippi’s Last Abortion Clinic

Christian Compassion Abortion Willie Parker

TheIND labeled the late term abortion doctor a Good Samaritan

Good Samaritan Willie Parker

Seems the abortion industry which is collapsing nationwide has their new marching orders to pitch child killing as Christian and invoke God !

I have been documenting Parker’s alleged religious beliefs in killing children and have included excerpts of previous blogs I have published on the abortion doc below:

_______________________________________________
NJ.com called abortionist Willie Parker a “Christian” in a recent article.

The article headlines, “Why I perform abortions: A Christian obstetrician explains his choice”, interviews a Mississippi abortionists by the name of Willie Parker. The article begins with this, “He’s a Christian from Birmingham, Ala., who initially refused to even consider the procedure. But about halfway into his 20-year career, he changed his mind. Now, he’s one of those rare doctors who is willing to push the limits and provide abortions at 24 weeks of pregnancy.

In case you cannot do the math – that means he is willing to kill babies which are six months gestation for any reason given….

Willie Parker called Christian 074423845412494_n

Parker insists he was raised a Christian but struggles with providing abortions. His turn to the “dark side” allegedly came after listening to , “a sermon by Dr. Martin Luther King, I came to a deeper understanding of my spirituality, which places a higher value on compassion.”

Still trying to understand how killing an innocent baby is compassionate…..

ABC’s Nightline did this report on the last abortion clinic in Mississippi and tied those who killed babies to “God”:

Christian Abortionist? Is there such a thing?

Nightline’s Cynthia McFadden, asked what they called a “Christian Abortion Doctor” who kills unborn children at Jackson Women’s Health abortion clinic in Mississippi, how many abortions he would do on ONE woman. Abortionist Willie Parker responded, “How many? As many as necessary”

Efforts to use GOD to pitch abortion are growing. Recently this blog broke the news that abortion giant Planned Parenthood had published a Pastoral Letter to their patients condoning child killing through abortion:

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter PG 1.

More on that here

After that story broke, I located MORE Clergy letters by the abortion giant- see those here.

So it is no surprise when the head of Planned Parenthood retweeted the link to the Willie Parker Esquire story:

Then Planned Parenthood themselves proudly retweeted the heretical article:

Boyd is a former ordained Baptists minister turn baby killer who told the media that he offers this prayer after he kills a child, “I’ll ask that the spirit of this pregnancy be returned to God with love and understanding,” he said.

The best “Choice” Planned Parenthood has ever made removing Pastoral Letter to Patients

Posted in Planned Parenthood Clergy with tags , , , , , , on June 9, 2014 by saynsumthn

Saynsumthn was the first news blog to report how Planned Parenthood was using God to sell abortions with a letter from “Clergy”!

But now it has been removed off the Planned Parenthood website. There still is a cached version available to view here!

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter Header.

In the Pastoral Letter to Patients, Planned Parenthood tells women and girls in a crisis pregnancy that there is nothing in the scriptures that says abortion is wrong and that many clergy think abortion is okay:

The decision to have an abortion is personal. Though your reasons may be complicated and private, you’re not alone. As religious leaders from a number of religious traditions, we’re here to
support you in your decision.

Many people wrongly assume that all religious leaders disapprove of abortion. The truth is that abortion is not even mentioned in the Scriptures—Jewish or Christian—and there are clergy and people of faith from all denominations who support women making this complex decision.

The beliefs of each person are deserving of respect, and each person deserves care and compassion,
No one should be allowed to force their faith teachings on anyone else.

We believe this decision is yours, made with your doctor and anyone else you choose to bring into the conversation, such as a spouse, partner, parent, or clergy person.”

Planned Parenthood pastoral letter PG 1.Pastoral Letter Page 2

The letter goes on to tell the FUTURE PAYING ABORTION CUSTOMER that, “God loves you and is with you no matter what you decide. You can find strength, understanding, and comfort in that love.”

_After news outlets read this blog and began to talk about it- the abortion giant decided to remove the letter from its site:

PP Pastoral Letter removed

The best “Choice” Planed Parenthood has ever made !

In response, the group Alliance Defending Freedom has offered to purchase Bibles for every Planned Parenthood locations.

In their Open Letter to Cecile Richards, the pro-life group writes, It appears that this letter is no longer available on your website, but an archived version can be found here for your reference (page 3). While I disagree with Planned Parenthood’s exegesis of Scripture, I am not writing to debate that point. Instead, I write to express my agreement with Planned Parenthood, reflected in the publication of this pastoral letter, that for many women their religious beliefs will be very relevant to their decision about whether to have an abortion.

On that common ground, on behalf of Alliance Defending Freedom, I would like to offer Planned Parenthood one free copy of the Bible for every Planned Parenthood facility in the country.

Pro-lifer allegedly assaulted by abortion clinic nurse who “claims” she serves God

A video posted on Youtube shows an abortion clinic nurse appearing to attack attack a pro-lifer.

ApproachAttack

__________________________________________________________

The abortion nurse is upset because the pro-lifer accused her of telling patients that their abortion won’t hurt….

The pro-lifer who posted the vid identified as Paul Lake explains, “I learned that the # 1 question women ask in abortion clinics when considering abortion is; Does it hurt? Some clinics have certain people who do certain jobs and answer certain questions women ask. When the nurse at our local abortion clinic arrived to work Tuesday morning I asked her, “Are you the nurse that tells the women that it don’t hurt?” She didn’t answer. So I said to her that “whoever is telling them that it doesn’t hurt is lying to them”. She went into the clinic. 10 minutes later the same nurse walked up to me and this is what happened..”

__________________________________________

Capture

I don’t need you out here telling me nothing bout I’m a nurse and I’m telling these people it don’t hurt. I don’t tell them that, so I’m not a liar…and I’m not a liar and your not going to stand there and tell me that I’m a liar…because I’m not a liar. I serve a God that sees everything and know everything and if you was any kind of big Christian you wouldn’t be sit’n your tail out here doing what your doing.”

At that point the pro-lifer says, ” I want to help you.”

And the abortion nurse replies, “You aren’t helping me and you’re right there your wearing that cross – you don’t need to be wearing it…”

The pro-lifers says, ” I’ll get you another job…”

Worker 2

As the conversation continues a second abortion worker joins in threatening the pro-lifer, “You need to watch what you’re doing because we know every single thing that you do. If you wipe your f***ing a** we know. So, you need to quit stalking me – you need to quit stalking Dr. Payne…we know everything about you just like you’re trying to find out about me that you’ll never know.

She then asks the pro-lifer, “Can you tell me where I go to church, that’s what I want to know?”

They then get into a debate on whether abortion kills a baby and both nurses who claimed to go to church say abortion is a women’s choice.

The outside of the clinic looks like West Alabama Women’s Center.

WestAlabamaWomensTuscaloosa2-e1367356452244-1024x599

According to abortiondocs.com a Dr. Louis Thomas Payne works there and the nurses mentioned a doctor Payne.

Louis_Payne-1024x680

A state inspection conducted in January of 2013 at the WEST ALABAMA WOMEN’S CENTER, INC revealed that:

WestALWomensCenter
Based on review of the center’s policies, observations and interview, it was determined the
center did not follow their own standards of practice for:
1. Hand Washing
2. Glove usage
3. Cleaning of supplies
4. Safe use of sharps containers

During the tour on 1/10/13 at 10:30 AM in Exam Room # 2 the surveyor noted a sharps container more than 2/3 full with needles on the floor beside the sharps container. The soap dispenser by the sink in Exam Room 2 did not work so the surveyor was unable wash her hands with soap and water.
An interview was conducted with Employee Identifier # 1, Director on 1/10/13 at 10:45 AM
who verified the sharps container was more than 2/3 full and the needles were on the floor.
A tour was conducted in Medication Storage Closet on 1/10/13 at 11:00 AM. The surveyor
observed the following unlabeled:
1 – 10 cc (cubic centimeter) syringe with liqui
and a needle
2- 3 cc syringes with liquid and a needle
3- 1 unit syringes with liquid and a needle
An interview with EI # 1 and EI # 2, Medical Director was conducted on 1/10/13 at 11:05 AM
and both stated it was used for Lidocaine. On 1/10/13 at 2:40 PM the surveyor observed EI
# 2 perform a procedure in Exam Room # 2. EI #
2 was observed giving an injection intravenously in the right antecubital without the use of gloves.
EI # 2 was also observed by the surveyor during the above procedure use non sterile gloves to examine Patient Identifier (PI) # 1 and then change to sterile gloves without hand hygiene.
EI # 3, the nurse assisting with the procedure also changed gloves during the above procedure without hand hygiene.
PI # 1 was transferred to the Recovery Room on 1/10/13 at 2:51 PM. PI # 1 was seated in a
recliner and feet propped up. EI # 4, Registered Nurse, then administered Rhogam to PI # 1 right shoulder without the use of gloves.
PI # 1 was discharged on 1/10/13 at 3:21 PM. EI # 4 did not clean the back and feet area of the recliner.
A tour was conducted on 1/11/13 at 9:10 AM, to exam Room # 2. The surveyor was unable to obtain soap from the soap dispenser. EI # 1 tried to obtain soap and was unable.

But this was not the only time…. the Alabama Department of Health which regulates abortion clinics in the state, shows that the West Alabama Women’s Center abortion clinic has been written up on several occasions:

Deficiencies

So to recap – abortion does hurt and if you point that out as a pro-lifer you could be attacked by a nurse who claims she serves God while working at an abortion clinic with several health deficiencies…..just who is on the side of woman again?

Bill Gates reducing the inequity in the world thru abortion and eugenics is kind of a religious belief

Posted in Bill Gates with tags , , , , , , , , , on March 17, 2014 by saynsumthn

Bill_Gates_in_WEF_,2007 In an interview with Rolling Stone, abortion financier Bill Gates said:

The moral systems of religion, I think, are super important. We’ve raised our kids in a religious way; they’ve gone to the Catholic church that Melinda goes to and I participate in. I’ve been very lucky, and therefore I owe it to try and reduce the inequity in the world. And that’s kind of a religious belief. I mean, it’s at least a moral belief,” Gates said.

Asked, Do you believe in God? Gates says it makes sense to believe in God, but doesn’t see how that belief would affect your decisions , “I agree with people like Richard Dawkins that mankind felt the need for creation myths. Before we really began to understand disease and the weather and things like that, we sought false explanations for them. Now science has filled in some of the realm – not all – that religion used to fill. But the mystery and the beauty of the world is overwhelmingly amazing, and there’s no scientific explanation of how it came about. To say that it was generated by random numbers, that does seem, you know, sort of an uncharitable view [laughs]. I think it makes sense to believe in God, but exactly what decision in your life you make differently because of it, I don’t know.”

Regarding ObamaCare, Gates replied, “The idea that there aren’t trade-offs is an outrageous thing. Most countries know that there are trade-offs, but here, we manage to have the notion that there aren’t any. So that’s unfortunate, to not have people think, “Hey, there are finite resources here.”

Bill Gates supports Eugenics thru abortion and he funds many pro-abortion organizations liked Planned Parenthood through the Gates Foundation ( read more here ) and here

Bill Gates / Admits dad worked for Planned Parenthood

Bill Gates and Planned Parenthood:

GATES: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it’s fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that.
My mom was on the United Way group that decides how to allocate the money and looks at all the different charities and makes the very hard decisions about where that pool of funds is going to go. So I always knew there was something about really educating people and giving them choices in terms of family size.
