A national breast cancer charity affiliate has granted over $1.5 million in funds to one of the Planned Parenthood centers involved in the explosive baby parts harvesting videos exposed by the Center for Medical Progress.
This blog broke the news that Susan G Komen affiliates granted $465K to 11 Planned Parenthood affiliates last year.
I tracked down several affiliates that received the finds below:
Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC)
Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas
Planned Parenthood of Greater WA & North ID and here
Planned Parenthood of Northern New England
Planned Parenthood North Texas
Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas
Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties
But, one Planned Parenthood Komen grant recipient stands out as having a connection to the now exposed baby parts harvesting scandal.
Komen Colorado gave a grant to:
Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains for, “Colorado Community Health Network received a grant to increase access to screening and diagnostic services through partner providers, including Mountain Family Health Centers.”
It was just last week, that The Center for Medical Progress released a video showing Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountains VP & Medical Director Savita Ginde speaking with what she thought was “buyers” for a Biotech firm, and discussing pricing and contract details for the purchase of aborted baby parts.
CMP also accused the PPRM doctor of speaking about how not to “Get Caught.”
In 2009 Planned Parenthood bragged that their “clinical research” was enhanced by the abortionist caught in the video, Dr. Savita Ginde writing in a PPRM publication:
-
PPRM’s leadership role in advanced reproductive health care and clinical research has significantly grown with the appointment of Dr. Savita Ginde as medical director in 2004. Prior to PPRM, she conducted numerous clinical research trials within the reproductive health care specialty and, fortunately for us, continued this practice upon joining our team.
Adding:
-
The Clinical Research division is currently working to increase PPRM’s participation in clinical trials and behavioral and environmental studies. Our goal is to become a research leader within Planned Parenthood Federation of America and to continue providing high quality care to our clients.
In the CMP video, you see abortionist Savita Ginde standing in the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic pathology laboratory, where fetuses are brought after abortions.
The video is graphic, showing the abortion doctor and an assistant discussing what how many organs she can dissect from each child Planned Parenthood had just aborted, even announcing “another boy” as she picks out parts of babies in a petri dish.
On their website Komen felt the need to post an explanation about why they fund Planned Parenthood:
The funding dates back years and despite Komen national defunding Planned Parenthood in 2012 (before reinstating them later), Komen Colorado was granted a waiver to keep funding to the abortion business:
In fact, Komen Colorado has granted over $1.5 MILLION to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains since 1999.
In addition, Komen Colordo gave over $293,000 to another abortion clinic, called the Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center.
The breakdown is below:
-
1995-$20,000 to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains

2013-$98,924 to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains
2014-$101,153 + $28,000 to Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains
Wonder what Komen thinks about giving to this Planned Parenthood now?
As a side note, PPRM is not only connected to Komen, they are also deep inside the public school system teaching middle school children sex-ed.
The Draw the Line/Respect the Line Planned Parenthood program is funded by the Argosy Foundation whose mission, “is to support people and programs that make our society a better place to live,” in partnership with Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains’ Responsible Sex Education Institute.
Komen national claims they do not conduct any “research” but will not defund anyone based on such research:
-
Embryonic stem cells are currently considered to have the most potential for use in the regeneration of diseased or injured tissues. Whether embryonic stem cells will have a role or will be of value in the fight against breast cancer has not been clearly determined. To this point, embryonic stem cell research has not shown promise for application in breast cancer.
Contrary to circulating online reports, Komen has not “de-funded” any grantee based on human embryonic stem cell research conducted at their institution, the cancer charity states!
( Special H/T to Pro-life Waco for contributing to the research for this blog post.)
