Gates’ claim of not funding abortion undermined by billions

While the Gates Foundation works to reduce Africa’s populations, an expert suggests that money could be better spent in another way.

Bill and Melinda Gates recently reemphasized that their foundation does not fund abortion. But their web site points out that they have given $4 billion in 900 grants to International Planned Parenthood, United Nations Population Fund, Planned Parenthood of America and Marie Stokes International.

Dr. Brian Clowes of Human Life International tells OneNewsNow that all those groups promote and perform abortions.

For them to say, ‘We don’t support abortion,’ is like somebody saying, ‘We don’t support racism,’ while they give billions of dollars to Aryan Nations and Ku Klux Klan,” Clowes remarks. “The Gates Foundation is doing more than any other foundation to push abortion all over the world. It’s definitely taken a pro-abortion position with $4 billion going to organizations that promote it.”

The U.S. has spent $102 billion on contraception and abortion in Africa and Latin America since 1995, without the added help of the Gates’ $4 billion.

And if you took that $102 billion and put it into stuff like rural electrification, good schools, good roads, health care clinics and so on, you could have raised the standards of 25 million of the world’s poorest people to U.S. or European standards,” he explains. “That’s what’s called authentic economic development.”

Clowes says instead what has been accomplished is to “make large, poor families into small, poor families.”

Kudos to One News Now for clarifying the bogus claim that Gates Foundation does not support abortion. Saynsumthn has documented their pro-abortion stand for years.

In fact a look at the most recently published 990 from the Gates Foundation shows their financial support of Planned Parenthood and pro-choice organizations:

This 2013 990 clearly shows their support for abortion giant Planned Parenthood and IPPF.

A 2002 report by The Interim reveals that in 2000, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, named after Microsoft’s head and his wife, dispersed $212 million, or 15 per cent of its total grants, to “reproductive and child health” causes.

“‘Reproductive health care’ is the primary health need of women, yet limited resources in developing countries, combined with women’s economic and social position, often deprive women of access to the care they need and want,” says the foundation. “Increasing access to voluntary family planning services … are examples of the kinds of work supported by the foundation.”

Grants in the year 2000 alone included:

$8.8 million for five years to strengthen “the quality of reproductive healthcare” through the notorious International Planned Parenthood Federation in London, England.
$7.3 million for five years to PATH in Seattle, Wash. to support “family planning programs” in, of all places, China.
$1 million to Population Action International in Washington, D.C. to develop a comprehensive global strategy for ensuring “reproductive health commodity security.”
$243,000 to the United States Committee for the UNFPA, Inc. in New York to support “contraceptive logistics and management information systems” in Myanmar (Burma).
$1 million for three years to Vaestoliitto ry, the Family Federation of Finland in Helsinki, Finland to support “international reproductive health services.”
$1 million to the World Population Foundation in Hilversum, the Netherlands, to support “reproductive health and family planning services” in Asia.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is on record donating to The Guttmacher Institute as well – a research arm of Planned Parenthood ( 2013 report here).

Bill Gates has been on record as supporting abortion (and here) , financing abortion, and his dad was the former head of Planned Parenthood:

Bill Gates , William Henry Gates, Sr. and Planned Parenthood:

In an interview with PBS – Bill Gates spoke about his father’s connection to abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

Bill GATES: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it’s fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that. My mom was on the United Way group that decides how to allocate the money and looks at all the different charities and makes the very hard decisions about where that pool of funds is going to go. So I always knew there was something about really educating people and giving them choices in terms of family size.

Planned Parenthood was founded on racist eugenics – watch Maafa21 for documentation.

Large Corporations Fund Abortion, Eugenics and Planned Parenthood, from the film Maafa21.

Gates has been dodging charges that it funds abortions for years – wonder why a connection to abortion would be so bad – maybe- because it reeks of eugenics and killing children?

Killing babies about profit: Abortion clinic would women away for being $15.00 short says pro-choice group

Posted in Abortion Profits, National Network of Abortion Funds with tags , , , , , , on May 23, 2014 by saynsumthn

National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF), a group which funds abortions for any reason mostly convenience, at any stage of pregnancy put together a video of some of their “stories.”
NNAF Vid

In the vid, one of the promoters of abortion says that a woman who had to take off work and OMG pay for child care, showed up at the abortion clinic but was $15.00 short. The solution: NNAF gave her the $15.00 so she would not be “turned away.”

NNAF Vid Screen

The story, which brought the person in the video to tears described a woman who was in a state with a 24 hour waiting period and was seeking an abortion, “So she had to make two trips,” says the storyteller, “Miss two days of work and pay for two days of child care, ” (Uh….does she bring her child with her to work? otherwise – why was that an extra cost? But I digress)….

NNAF Prochoice crying

And she had saved up everything she had and she could afford her abortion,” (at this point the pro-choicer starts tearing up..oh…the drama of it all…), “And when she got to the clinic, on the second day, she was $15.00 short because she had to pay for some gas, because of all the driving to and from the clinic. And when she got there, she was $15.00 short, and um we funded her the last $15.00 so that she wouldn’t be turned away. And that was one of the stories that has stayed with me the most.”

Way to go NNAF pro-choicers for exposing to the world that ABORTION IS ABOUT PROFIT – NOT CARING FOR WOMEN !!!!

I know restaurants that have written off the cost of a meal for being short $15.00 ! (CRYING – NOT!)

Thomas More Law Center Files Court Challenge Moments After Obama Health Care Signed Into Law

From Thomas More Law Center
March 23, 2010

ANN ARBOR, MI – Moments after President Obama signed the so-called health care reform bill into law in a televised White House ceremony, the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor Michigan, filed a federal lawsuit challenging its constitutionality in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

The purpose of the lawsuit is to permanently enjoin enforcement of the new health care legislation.

Assisting the Law Center as co-counsel in the lawsuit is attorney David Yerushalmi.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the Law Center itself, and four individuals from the Southeastern Michigan area. None of the individuals have private health care insurance; all object to being forced to purchase health care coverage; and all object to being forced to pay for abortions, which is contrary to their religious beliefs.
Named as defendants in the lawsuit are President Obama, Kathleen Sebelius, the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services; Eric H. Holder, Jr., U.S. Attorney General; and Timothy Geithner, Secretary of the Department of Treasury. All the defendants were sued in their official capacity.

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Law Center, commented, “This Act is a product of political corruption and the exercise of unconstitutional power. Our Founding Fathers envisioned a limited form of government. The purpose of our Constitution and this lawsuit is to insure it stays that way.”

Continued Thompson, “Let’s face it, if Congress has the power to force individuals to purchase health insurance coverage or pay a federal penalty merely because they live in America, then it has the unconstrained power to mandate that every American family buy a General Motors vehicle to help the economy or pay a federal penalty.”
Robert Muise, the Law Center’s Senior Trial Counsel, and David Yerushalmi prepared the lawsuit. According to the lawsuit, the health care reform law imposes unprecedented governmental mandates that trample upon the personal and economic freedoms of Americans in violation of their constitutional rights. [Read copy of Complaint].

Among the allegations of the lawsuit are the claims that Congress had no authority under the Commerce Clause to pass the law; that by usurping the power reserved for the states and the people, Congress violated the Tenth Amendment; and that by forcing private citizens to fund abortion, contrary to their rights of conscience and the free exercise of religion, Congress violated the First Amendment.

Thompson concluded, “Americans agree that our health care system needs reform. But they don’t want a federal takeover of the system in the process. And they don’t want reform by trampling on our Constitution.”

The Thomas More Law Center defends and promotes America’s Christian heritage and moral values, including the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life. It supports a strong national defense and an independent and sovereign United States of America. The Law Center accomplishes its mission through litigation, education, and related activities. It does not charge for its services. The Law Center is supported by contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations, and is recognized by the IRS as a section 501(c)(3) organization.
