Planned Parenthood staffers: toxic work environment, pregnancy discrimination, intimidation, prioritizes profit over care

As employees speak out, Planned Parenthood’s mask begins to crack

mask, Planned Parenthood

A new phenomenon appears to be taking place at Planned Parenthood. In what was a shock to many, in 2018, political activist president Cecile Richards suddenly announced her resignation, followed by that of VP Dawn Laguens and VP of Communications, Kevin Griffis, among others. Planned Parenthood hired ER doctor Leana Wen — who has called abortion “health care” — to replace Richards, and vowed that abortion will be its focus in 2019. But at the same time, employees of the so-called “women’s rights organization” are spilling long-held secrets and exposing inner workings and toxic attitudes of the organization, founded 100 years ago by eugenicist Margaret Sanger. While these revelations might come as a surprise to pro-choicers, pro-lifers know that the organization’s roots have been rotten since its inception.

Lower level staffers revolt against Planned Parenthood’s corporate greed

While Planned Parenthood as a corporation was busy raking in millions in excess revenue over the past several years, its staffers claim it failed to pay them a decent wage. As a result, Planned Parenthood employees began unionizing. A report from In These Times claims Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) employees first began organizing in 2016, and it was the sixth local affiliate to do so. “In at least two of these cases, the local employer was accused of attempting to squelch worker organizing,” the media outlet reported.

But why did PPRM employees attempt to unionize?

Their key issues included wages—according to the union, the median annual wage for PPRM employees is $35,000, which is at the low end of the median range for health workers given by the Bureau of Labor Statistics—high staff turnover and prohibitively high costs of adding family members to employee health insurance.”

When employees spoke out, staffers claim Planned Parenthood intimidated them.

Suzanne Thorp, who has worked for PPRM since 2013, claims PPRM revoked her ticket to a fundraiser out of fear she would encourage donors not to use their dollars for anti-union efforts. A June 2018 post published on the Facebook page of the PPRM Union Bargaining Team claims the organization called the police after Thorp showed up outside the event. The abortion corporation later denied the claim.

Another alleged staffer wrote about Planned Parenthood’s fight against unionizing on Instagram: “Friends – today is my last day working for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains…. PPRM’s management have only pushed back in order to keep us from accessing our basic employee rights…. I’ve given the last two years of my life to this cause that I love so much and to see my colleagues bullied like this by the agency they have worked so hard for breaks my f**king heart…”

Others joined in:

Grim added in another tweet, “I know @CecileRichards is gone but really is this the new regime? Affiliates spending ‘up to a million dollars’ to block union efforts.”

Employees publicly complain about shoddy treatment

In addition to low wages, one PPRM staffer took to Twitter to reveal that Planned Parenthood even looked down on employees for taking their rightfully earned work breaks:

“Solstice Fairy” added in another tweet, “Stop shouting ‘SELF CARE!!!!’ at us when we say we need a moment to pee or drink or eat. Taking a lunch break is not self care. It is a federally mandated right of employees working more than 6 hours in a day….”

Reviews published at Indeed.com (more not shown here) display more worker dissatisfaction:

Other review make it clear that patients are herded through like cattle, stating that “they schedule you patients every 10 minutes.”

Planned Parenthood appears to be rotting from within as staffers expose the organization’s hypocrisy. The most recent example occurred when Planned Parenthood whistleblowers told the New York Times the abysmal way the organization discriminates against pregnant employees.

Prior to that report, Live Action News revealed that Planned Parenthood insiders in Nashville exposed how the corporation’s leaders were prioritizing profits over care, something pro-lifers have known for years.

A brief history: Planned Parenthood’s push for abortion always wins over actual health care

Prioritizing profits over care isn’t new for Planned Parenthood. Years after founder Margaret Sanger died, Alan F. Guttmacher, a physician and former VP of the Eugenics Society, took the reins. Guttmacher was obsessed with population control and led the corporation to become an abortion vendor. Later, Faye Wattleton, an African American woman, was appointed president (chosen, many believe, to quell suspicion of eugenics among the Black community), who doubled down on promoting abortion. Years later, president Pamela Maraldo attempted to tone down the abortion emphasis with an effort to reinvent the corporation into a health care organization, but was ousted by pro-abortion zealots on the inside.

READ: Report: Planned Parenthood discriminated against pregnant employees

Planned Parenthood eventually appointed Cecile Richards, who had no health care experience, to supervise the surge of abortions, tax dollars, excess revenue, and CEO salaries — all while Planned Parenthood’s actual health services and clients plummeted. Richards’ goal was to build the abortion corporation into the largest “kick butt political organization” to reinforce Planned Parenthood’s political laundering scheme. She presided over numerous scandals, accusations of fraudthe cover-up of child sexual abuse, and much more.

What is emerging today is a truer picture of Planned Parenthood as its image begins to show cracks, even in the way it treats employees and patients. It has for too long masqueraded as a health care organization while tragically ending the lives of over 320,000 preborn children each year by abortion.

Blacks matter to Planned Parenthood if they push abortion

Posted in Black Genocide, Guttmacher, Planned Parenthood abortion numbers, Planned Parenthood and Eugenics, Planned Parenthood Employee, Planned Parenthood uses blacks, Racism with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 12, 2014 by saynsumthn

I have blogged many times about the racist history of Planned Parenthood. In addition, I have documented how the Black community warned that Planned Parenthood was deliberately placing their centers in Black communities something the Black community saw as clear genocide.

Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member of the American Eugenics Society. In addition, Sanger admitted in her autobiography that she gave speeches to the Klan.

SANGERKKK2

Over the years, Planned Parenthood morphed from an organization under Sanger which pushed the sterilization of the “unfit” or “feeble minded” (terms often used for Black people) to one that saw abortion as a solution to their agenda. During Sanger’s rule, there was little discussion of abortion as a solution to this population due to the fact that eugenics boards across the country were able to forcefully sterilize those they deemed unworthy.

Once the ability to legally coerce or force sterilizations onto the populations Planned Parenthood didn’t want too many of, the discussion of abortion began. As time progressed and America began experiencing the Civil Rights Movement, Planned Parenthood was becoming more aware that Blacks saw their programs as a form of genocide. Internal memos within their organization, which I have read, indicate that Planned Parenthood was discussing a solution to this ever growing problem of Blacks being suspicious of them.

Guttmacher VP AES article

In a letter dated March 7, 1966, Planned Parenthood President, Alan F. Guttmacher, who was also a vice president for the American Eugenics Society wrote to Mr. William Searle, VP of Marketing of the CD Searle Company telling him that he had been picketed by a group of very attractive young men, and noted that this was “just one of several manifestations of increasing racist apprehension in regard to birth control by minority groups, Mexicans, and Puerto Ricans.”

Guttmacher had a solution, he continued, “I am seriously considering adding to my staff a minority relations man or women from one of the minority groups, and since the largest is the Negro, probably someone of the Negro race. It would be his task to work not only with the conventional groups like the NAACP, CORE, etc. but actively to confront three militant groups and see whether or not we couldn’t persuade them of the error of their ways.”

A month later, a memo from Naomi T. Gray, Elsie Jackson, Helen Stanford, and Wylda B. Cowles, Community Relations Program for Planned Parenthood-World Population, to Alan F. Guttmacher, dated April 11, 1966, reads, “ there was a consensus at the staff retreat that the tax-savings approach as a rational for providing birth control services has generated mistrust of Planned Parenthood’s motives among some segments of minority group communities—especially the Negro. This approach coupled with the population control message has proved to be explosive. The question now is how to handle the situation in such a way as to improve Planned Parenthood’s image , and if possible, to prevent the generation of further mistrust.”

Then, in a letter from Helen P. Stanford (ACSW) to Mrs. Anne Huppman, Executive Director Planned Parenthood Association of Maryland dated May 14,1968, Stanford tells Huppman , “The charge of Black Genocide as it relates to PP [Planned Parenthood] is being heard more frequently, and I suspect there will be much more of this kind of feeling. This makes it all the more important for us in PP [Planned Parenthood] to focus a great deal of our attention on ways to reach poor urban whites, to put greater emphasis on fostering maternal and child care facilities and to push toward developing social services for family planning by the community. If our services can move in this direction , we will begin to erase the image of birth control , as a planned way of limiting blacks.”

Dr Jerome H Holland sm

That same year of 1968 Planned Parenthood World Population approved unanimously a policy recognizing abortion and sterilization as proper medical procedures. It called for the legalization of both.

Planned Parenthood then put their plan of hiring Blacks to push their agenda in the Black community into motion when elected the first Black man as Chairman of Planned Parenthood.

Dr. Jerome H. Holland pledged his support to the organization and said that those who called birth control a form of genocide, “Are not aware of the real meaning of Family Planning and its uses.”

HollandAbPPPic

Planned Parenthood then used this BLACK MAN to introduce abortion into the organization:

The board of directors, which Holland was Chairman, recommended adopting a policy recognizing abortion and sterilization as medical procedures which should be removed from the criminal law. The wording of the resolution. which was drafted and passed by Planned Parenthood’s National Medical Advisory Committee read, “Abortion is a medical procedure the decision for which must rest with the woman and her physician.” This remains the Planned Parenthood’s verbiage to today.

That same year, Eugenics Society Officer Frederick Osborn, wrote, “Eugenic goals are most likely to be attained under a name other than eugenics.”

Just a few years later, a new Black leader would emerge to push abortion for Planned Parenthood. In 1978, Faye Wattelton became the first Black president of Planned Parenthood.

Faye Wattleton

At a press conference, the then president-elect of Planned Parenthood held in February of 1978, Wattelton told the media that she was “putting the world on notice” that Planned Parenthood was going to be much more aggressive on abortion rights, “What has happened is that we have allowed them [ right-to-lifers] to have center stage,” Wattelton said, “I’d like to say those days are over.”

Wattleton then vowed to restore “to the poor” access of abortion under Medicaid.

Wattelton was then asked if having a Black woman as the head of Planned Parenthood would put to rest the suspicion that abortion and specifically Planned Parenthood were tools of Black Genocide.

Wattleton

Wattelton replies, “I don’t think a lot of people are yelling genocide anymore, because I’m Black. I’m in a watchdog position on these issues and no one should assume I’ve been co-opted. What better way is there to guard against those types of abuses?

Wattelton then said that Blacks should be more concerned about the quality of life than “increasing our numbers.”

One side note, in spite of Planned Parenthood’s continued push back on any legislation to regulate or restrict abortions, Wattelton assured the press that she would call for a 30 day waiting period on sterilization to avoid coercion and abuse. Fast forward to today, where Planned Parenthood calls ANY waiting period on abortion an attack on a “woman’s right to choose” despite documented proof that women are pressured and coerced into killing their unborn children.

For her service and dedication to the eugenics founded organization, in 1992, Wattleton received Planned Parenthood’s highest award, named after their racist founder, the Margaret Sanger Award. Under Wattelton’s leadership, Planned Parenthood’s budget grew from $90 million in 1978 to $384 million in 1990 and clients increased by $3 million.

But, the idea that Blacks would no longer be targeted for eugenics because a Black person was at the helm of a eugenics organization was short-lived.

During her tenure at Planned Parenthood Wattelton admit that supporters of Planned Parenthood contributed to the abortion giant to keep the Black population down.

_______________________

On CNN, in a debate with Bob Dornan, an outspoken pro-life member of the US House of Representatives, at that time, Wattleton, admitted, “ As a matter of fact Mr. Dornan, if I may finish, we have received contributions from people who want to support us because they want all welfare mothers and all black women to stop having children.”

Go to .50 in this section from the documentary film Maafa21 to hear her statements. But, watch the entire clip to see that even today, racism is a part of the abortion and Planned Parenthood agenda.

Today, abortion is the number one killer of the African American community surpassing all other diseases.

Year after year, abortion stats confirm that it is indeed desecrating the Black community. In fact, according to the most recent stats, of the abortions reported for race or ethnicity in 2011, 36.2% of the total number of abortions recorded for race or ethnicity were reported on Black women.

Mississippi, which currently has only one abortion clinic in the state, had the highest number of abortions reported on Black women coming in at 63.4%.

Alabama, reported that 58.7% of their abortions were on Blacks while in Georgia they reported 52.1% abortions on Black.

Tennessee performed 49.9% of their abortions on Black women and Virginia performed 43.9% on Black women, while Michigan’s Black abortion percentage was 47.9%.

New York City alone performed 46.1% of their abortions on Black women and 41.1% of Black abortions was reported in Missouri.

The use of Blacks by Planned Parenthood to carry out their eugenics agenda is nothing new as I document to some degree here.

Sadly, just a few years ago, another Black leader would seal the deal by incorporating abortion into a National Healthcare plan.

obama-planned-parenthood

President Barack Obama once told Planned Parenthood that abortion was at the heart of his healthcare bill.

Today, many African Americans are again awakening to the eugenics agenda of abortion through Planned Parenthood and speaking out as I document here.

Despite this, Planned Parenthood remains determined to push their agenda and use Black people to do so. I only hope that the African American community will reject Planned Parenthood before they succeed.

Minority Empowerment Group Praises Former Planned Parenthood Prez

A group which highlights the contributions of minorities has spotted a former Planned Parenthood president.

Faye Wattelton Minority Inventors

According to their website, Minority Inventors Empowerment was created in 1994 as a non profit organization geared to educate and bring full awareness of past, present future generations of the history of minorities.

On their Facebook page, which shows 96,858 likes, the group highlighted the contributions of Faye Wattelton, calling the former Black Planned Parenthood president an, “American Social Activist for women rights and gender equality.

They attempted to paint the advocate of abortion on demand as inspiring writing, “Alyce Faye Wattleton was born on July 8, 1943 in St. Louis. She was raised in a religious home her father was a minister and also worked as a factory worker…In New York she was exposed to the risks of botched abortions and suffering women faced during that phase in their lives. Faye began a passion for social activism this eventually led to her career in women’s health advocacy, eventually being named the Executive Director For Planned Parenthood of Miami Valley in 1970. From 1978 to 1992 Faye served as president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Her career in leadership for the organization led to the non profit growth becoming the nation’s seventh largest nonprofit, providing services to four million Americans yearly. During her presidency at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, from 1978 to 1992, Wattleton transformed the organization into the politically engaged entity that it is today, while at the same time dramatically increasing its health-care services. Anticipating that the 1980s would bring many political challenges, Wattleton restructured the organization so that it could respond to the new environment created by the Ronald Reagan administration and the rise of the Religious Right. She also led Planned Parenthood’s growth as a health-care provider. By the time she left the organization, it had more than 170 affiliates in 49 states and Washington, D.C., and operated more than 800 health centers.”

Planned Parenthood is the number one provider of abortions in the nation. They were founded in eugenic racism and place their centers in minority communities.

Faye Wattleton

During her tenure as Planned Parenthood’s Black president, Faye Wattleton, admitted that the organization received donations from people for racist reasons. In a debate with Senator Bob Dornan, Wattelton stated, “ As a matter of fact Mr. Dornan, if I may finish, we have received contributions from people who want to support us because they want all welfare mothers and all black women to stop having children.”

Go to .50 in this section from the documentary film Maafa21 to watch:

Planned Parenthood’s decision to place Wattelton, a Black woman, as their president was extremely strategic. The organization had been using Blacks for years to push their eugenics goals. In fact, there was plenty of discussion on how the image of Planned Parenthood as one that wanted to eliminate the Black race was portrayed within the Black community.

In February of 1966, Sidney A. Hessel of the Planned Parenthood League of New Haven [CT.] wrote to Planned Parenthood leader, Alan F. Guttmacher this letter (experts): “ Since the luncheon phase of the last board meeting I have been very much concerned. I do not know if your report was the bombshell to the others that it was to me, but the fact that the Urban League, NAACP, etc. were actively and vocally naming PP*WP [Planned Parenthood-World Population] a racist organization shocked me. I remember as long ago as 1935 hearing the then Catholic inspired reaction from the Negro community, “The whites want to keep our numbers down so they can rule us.” However, to hear this view point promulgated in 1966 by the leaders of the Negro group was a shock. More upsetting was the apparent acquiescent nod of the PP*WP spokesperson to the accusation. We can and should admit that our efforts have been geared toward the low socio-economic segment of the population-and probably the Negro population more than others…As to Negro board membership- Should a person be elected to the board because his skin is brown or yellow? Isn’t this also racism? Do the leaders of the Negro community have the time to give to Planned Parenthood over and above their other commitments? Let’s put the burden of cure on them and ask the leadership of the NAACP, CORE, the Urban League, etc. to submit names of qualified people to our nominating committee on the same basis as our affiliates…If we tell our story and stick to our viewpoint often enough we will be believed.

In a letter from Helen P. Newly released Nixon tapes confirm the statements of racism played on the new documentary on Black Genocide: Maafa21.

The Nixon Library released more Nixon Tapes. Although the quality of the recordings are poor, Nixon and an aide held a conversation recorded on January 23, 1973, discussing that day’s Supreme Court’s decisions in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton.

I know that there are times when abortions are necessary. I know that,” Nixon tells an aide, then adding, “When you have a black and a white.”

The aide interrupts, “or for rape,” to which Nixon quickly responds, “or rape.”

Recently, a new documentary: Maafa21, was released which exposed high level plans within the US to use abortion as Black Genocide. The well documented film, ( a must see) exposed the early and extremely racist roots of the national largest abortion provider: Planned Parenthood and a host of eugenic connections they partnered with to reduce the Black Population.

As you watch Maafa21 the audience is stunned by admissions from Republican President Richard Nixon as to why he feels the nation will support abortion:

Nixon: “A majority of people in Colorado voted for abortion, I think a majority of people in Michigan are for abortion, I think in both cases, well, certainly in Michigan they will vote for it because they think that what’s going to be aborted generally are the little black bastards.

NIXON TAPE 700-10

Nixon: ” … as I told you and we talked about it earlier, that a hell of a lot of people want to control all the Negro bastards.”

Unidentified Staff: “Yeah

Nixon: “Isn’t that really true?

Nixon: “You know what we are talking about – Population Control?

Unidentified Staff: “Sure

Nixon: “We’re talking really – and what John Rockefeller really realizes – look, the people in what we call the “our class” control their populations. Sometimes they’ll have a family of six, or seven, or eight, or nine, but it’s an exception.”

Unidentified Staff: Sure.

Nixon: “People who don’t control their families are people in- the people who shouldn’t have kids.”

President Nixon formed the Population Commission which was headed by eugenics members.

Maafa 21 will shock you. To see documentation showing the racism used in the abortion business and philosophy is hard to believe. To discover how one African American reporter was fired by Newsweek because he was going to expose the government’s role in Black Genocide was horrifying to say the least.

Maafa21 Gives much more detail regarding Planned Parenthood’s connection to Eugenics and Racism.

Here is their proof:

ACORN sting resembles Planned Parenthood sting

Filmaker, James O’Keefe, has uncovered corruption in the ACORN organization. His undercover films have been blasted all over the cable news and internet blogs, exposing ACORN’s callous views of child sex trafficking and illegal prostitution rings. But O’Keefe was involved in a former undercover investigation involving tax payer dollars of hundreds of millions a year to an organization which covers for child sexual abuse !

That organization is PLANNED PARENTHOOD. And that investigation was done with another brave woman – Lila Rose.

James O’Keefe is a 25 year-old Rutgers graduate and a veteran of Live Action films, the group led by UCLA student Lila Rose, 20, which began a series of sting operations in order to uncover a culture of corruption rife within the abortion industry.

In 2007, O’Keefe posed as a 23-year old “boyfriend” accompanying Rose, also posing as his 15-year-old “girlfriend,” in another sting that showed a Los Angeles Planned Parenthood staffer offering them advice as to how to arrange for the abortion and cover-up the statutory rape.

Rose later developed this operation into a nationwide sting in which she showed that Planned Parenthood staffers were willing to cover up the statutory rape of 14 year-old girl by her 30-year-old boyfriend.

One of the Advocate’s video came out at the same time that Planned Parenthood’s Southwest Ohio Region faces a lawsuit from another rape victim who was forced by her father to have sex with him during the time she was 13-18 years of age and an abortion at age 16. Lawyers for the victim have accused Planned Parenthood’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy for perpetuating her sexual molestation until she finally told a basketball coach, who then informed the authorities.

The bold investigation by Lila Rose is reminiscent of the exposé by Life Dynamics, in which a woman posing as a 13-year old impregnated by a 22-year-old made 800 calls to abortion facilities across the United States. 91% of the facilities that admitted that a crime had been committed agreed to conceal it. Of those abortion clinics called, many were Planned Parenthoods.

Listen HERE.

Rose and O’Keefe also investigated allegations that Planned Parenthood is racist:

In a written from President/CEO, Christine R. Charbonneau, statement, Planned Parenthood has denied that they are racist:

“I must admit I had a palm-in-forehead moment last month when an anti-choice group from Southern California released a tape of what sounds like a Planned
Parenthood employee accepting a donation over the phone from an overtly racist donor. Naturally, the right wing radio talk show hosts had a field day
with this. One of them actually posed this question to his audience: “Is Planned Parenthood racist or just morally bankrupt?”

We do not accept money from people with racist motivations, no matter how much money they wish to donate.

Oh, Really ???? Guess you’d best talk to your former President, Faye Watteltonn about that one.

Although ACORN has received $54 million of taxpayer dollars over the years, Planned Parenthood receives $1 MILLION dollars per day – Of tax payer dollars, which they can use to abort Black Babies ! WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE ???? WHERE IS THE MEDIA ???

Planned Parenthood also risks losing $280- million in government funding, primarily through Title X funds, and the abortion provider’s 2004-2005 annual report showed that from an $882 million income they made $63 million in profits.
