A Dallas journalist is scheduled to receive an award from Planned Parenthood which is founded by a racist.

Sanger KKK

You cannot make this stuff up. In light of all the antics about race – we still have an organization whose founder was a racist being allowed by the media to promote her views.

Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist by the name of Margaret Sanger. She, admitted to giving Klan speeches in her autobiography, was a member of the racist American Eugenics Society, pushed for forced sterilization of what she deemed “unfit” or “feeblemeinded”, wanted the state to be allowed to issue a license to have children only to those eugenics groups chose as worthy, and yet Planned Parenthood never seems to come under the same scrutiny on race as say, a college fraternity member.

Find out more about Margaret Sanger and what she believed in the film Maafa21.

Instead, the media condones Planned Parenthood saying nothing when the director of the Texas abortion giant called Planned Parenthood a Texas value.

Case in point, as Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas gets ready to celebrate 80 years in the Lone Star state, they again praise their founder (the racist) posting this on their website.

Inspired by Margaret Sanger—an American birth control activist, sex educator, and nurse who opened the first birth control clinic in the United States in Brooklyn, New York, in 1916—volunteers and community leaders in Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, and Waco came together to address the birth control needs of women in their communities. Maternal health centers in each city eventually became Planned Parenthood, and today stand together as one of the largest Planned Parenthood affiliates in the US: Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas.

The first group that came together was in Dallas in the early 1930s. Community leaders Katherine Ripley and Gertrude Shelburne worked with Sanger to import and distribute contraceptives and educational materials in shirt boxes from the Ripley Shirt Company. They saw a need to help women struggling to plan and space their pregnancies safely, and stood on the right side of history to create access to much-needed birth control and information.

And here is the catch, Dallas Morning News columnist Steve Blow will be honored with the 2015 Katherine Ripley Award for Media at the Planned Parenthood gala.

So, when you hear the media cry out about race, as in the recent Starbucks Race Together theme or Ferguson’s Black Lives Matter, remember that these are the same people who will join ranks with Planned Parenthood and never – and I mean never denounce Margaret Sanger and her racist foundings.

In addition a Texas group recently published summaries of actual criminal cases showing Planned Parenthood covering for child sexual predators by not reporting the rape or abuse of children. What happened to members of the media caring about the sexual abuse of little girls? Read that report here.
