Past Live Action investigations and court cases have demonstrated Planned Parenthood‘s willingness to cover for child sexual predators and abusers, even returning victims to their abusers and failing to report underage pregnancies or suspected sexual abuse to authorities. This taxpayer-funded organization, receiving half a billion dollars in these funds annually, should be called to account, especially in a society so aware of sexual assault. So, why is Planned Parenthood’s corruption in this area being silenced by politicians, media and Hollywood alike?

It is possible that these Planned Parenthood-friendly groups know but choose to say nothing, because, like the New York Times recently discovered with Harvey Weinstein, Planned Parenthood has a network of complicit “bodyguards,” so to speak, protecting the organization from damaging scrutiny.

And yet, grueling testimonies and police reports of actual criminal cases in which Planned Parenthood patients, victimized by sexual abuse and rape and then taken for abortions, are available to read at Live Action News (herehere, and here).

Planned Parenthood-covers child sexual abuse

The media has repeatedly been caught in Planned Parenthood’s web of lies — though willingly, it seems, as many pro-choice “journalists” allow their support of abortion to keep them from doing real investigative reporting. Even in the face of proof, Planned Parenthood’s media complicity machine remains quiet, resulting in sexual abuse victims being forgotten.

In one example, physician and HLN host Dr. Drew Pinsky, a former employee of Planned Parenthood, came to Planned Parenthood’s defense when pro-lifers made allegations that the abortion corporation covered up child sexual abuse. Rather than do his own investigation, Dr. Drew lashed out at Alliance Defending Freedom’s (ADF) Director of Alliance Relations. Watch the exchange in the video below, where ADF includes the very “evidence” Dr. Drew failed to find on his own:

Dr. Drew admitted on his show that he worked for Planned Parenthood… hardly a non-biased reporting source. He said, “I was there. We were working for Planned Parenthood to create an environment where young women could feel safe….”

Safe? I don’t think so, Dr. Drew!

The complicit media machine

Planned Parenthood regularly rewards the media complicity machine by “honoring” them with the “Media Excellence” and “Maggie Awards.”

1. Irin Carmon – national reporter and Planned Parenthood awardee

Carmon is one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Media and was a national reporter at MSNBC and NBC News. Yet, this “journalist” was recently highlighted at a Planned Parenthood event and has been awarded by the abortion corporation. To date, she has failed to report the way Planned Parenthood covers for child sexual predators.

2015 Planned Parenthood Maggie Award to media

And she is not alone.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America bestowed Media Excellence Awards to 13 journalists during its 2016 National Conference Gala. Such as…

2. Amy Goodman – executive producer and Planned Parenthood awardee

Goodman, executive producer of Democracy NOW, received the “highest honor” from Planned Parenthood, according to Katie Yoder at NewsBusters.

Goodman, who regularly defends Planned Parenthood, has never spoken out about the organization’s covering of sexual assault crimes.

3. Michelle Goldberg – columnist and Planned Parenthood board member

Michelle Goldberg became an Op-Ed columnist for The New York Times in 2017. Previously, she was a columnist at Slate, and a radio and TV commentator appearing in The New Yorker, Newsweek, The Nation, The New Republic, The Guardian and other publications. She was also a keynote speaker for Planned Parenthood, attended several other Planned Parenthood events, and sat on the board of Southwest & Central Florida Planned Parenthood. No bias here, huh?

Rather than stand with sexual assault victims and expose Planned Parenthood, Goldberg defends them.

4. Linda Greenhouse – Pulitzer prize winner and Planned Parenthood keynote speaker

Greenhouse is a New York Times journalist who has also keynoted for Planned Parenthood Houston.

Linda Greenhouse keynote for Planned Parenthood

According to a report by the Washington Post, Greenhouse wrote in her book “Just a Journalist: On the Press, Life and the Spaces Between,” that she regularly donates to Planned Parenthood and wasn’t content to just allow Planned Parenthood to deduct a monthly contribution from her bank account:

It was important to me to write a check every month and sign my name. It was the signature of a citizen. The stories that appeared under my byline, on abortion and all other subjects, were the work of a journalist. If anyone ever thought those failed to measure up to professional standards, they never told me or anyone else.

One look at Greenhouse’s writings should tell you all you need to know about whether her pro-abortion ideology informs her journalism.

5. Anna Quindlen – Pulitzer prize winner and Planned Parenthood Federation of America board member

Quindlen is a former columnist at The New York Times who won the Pulitzer Prize for journalism. She recently attended PP’s 100th gala and sits on the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Board. Need I say more?

6. Sheryl WuDunn – writer, lecturer, and Planned Parenthood keynote speaker

WuDunn writes for the New York Times and lectures on political and social topics. She is married to husband Nicholas Kristof, who also writes for the New York Times.

She has been a keynote speaker for many Planned Parenthood events.

In 2014, WuDunn helped Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic raise $275,000.

7. Roshini Rajkumar – radio host and Planned Parenthood fundraiser model

Rajkumar hosts CBS’ News and Views, heard on WCCO Radio in Minnesota and once modeled in a fundraiser called “Ready or Hot: Fashion Meets Passion,” for Planned Parenthood.

8. Winston Ross – reporter and Planned Parenthood “naughty” fundraiser participant

Ross is a journalist for the Register-Guard, Newsweek, THE SPOKESMAN-REVIEW and The Daily Beast and Serena Markstrom, reporter for The Register Guard both took part in a Planned Parenthood fundraiser called “Naughty Listed: Stories of Holiday Misbehavior.”

Media personalities take part in Planned Parenthood fundraiser

To date, Ross and Markstrom have yet to call out Planned Parenthood’s real naughty deeds.

9. Dee Dee Myers – political analyst, editor, and Planned Parenthood keynote speaker

Myers was the keynote speaker at a Florida Planned Parenthood event. According to HuffPo, Myers is a political analyst, commentator and contributing editor to Vanity Fair, and lecturer on politics. After leaving her position as White House Press Secretary under President Clinton, Myers took a spot on CNBC political talk show, “Equal Time.” She brags that her work has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Time Magazine, O, the Oprah Magazine, the Washington Post, Politico and the Los Angeles Times.

Interestingly, none of that “work” includes any real serious investigations into Planned Parenthood.

10. Cynthia Tucker – Pulitzer prize winner, editor, and Planned Parenthood awardee

Tucker describes herself as a “veteran newspaper journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner and a highly-regarded commentator on TV and radio news shows.” Tucker was also editorial page editor of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper for 17 years and is a Planned Parenthood Maggie Award recipient. In 2014, Tucker, along with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Glamour Magazine, was “honored” by Planned Parenthood.

And none of them have spoken out about any of Planned Parenthood’s scandals other than to defend them.

11. Kate Sheppard – editor and Planned Parenthood awardee

Sheppard is currently an editor at the Huffington Post and previously reported for Mother Jones, Grist, and the American Prospect. She accepted a Planned Parenthood award and has never reported on Planned Parenthood’s coverup of child sexual abuse.

Jordan Smith, who is with the Austin Chronicle and is a recipient of the Maggie Award:

The list goes on and on.

Media elites are more eager to prop up Planned Parenthood than courageously take the side of young sexual abuse victims to expose Planned Parenthood. We can only hope that one day, light will shine on Planned Parenthood and the media complicity machine that protects them.

Pro-Life African Americans respond to Planned Parenthood mouthpiece Cynthia Tucker

Posted in Abortion, Media Bias, Planned Parenthood media mouthpieces with tags , , , , , , , , , , on April 22, 2011 by saynsumthn

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has allowed one of their “journalists” to continue to publish Op-Ed’s against the efforts to expose the racist and eugenics history of Planned Parenthood , despite the fact that Journalist, Cynthia Tucker is a Recipient of Planned Parenthood Awards, which she fails to DISCLOSE in her attacks.

Cynthia Tucker is a Planned Parenthood Maggie Award recipient is who wrote an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, entitled: “Is Abortion a Racist Plot? Of Course Not” . This article , doing the bidding of Planned Parenthood, was clearly written in my opinion, to offset the powerful impact of documentaries like Maafa21 and exposing of Black Genocide from abortion. Tucker failed to disclose the FACT that she is a recipient of the Planned Parenthood award….

Then….on April 13, 2011, Tucker penned this trash entitled: Abortion is black genocide? Nonsense, of course and again failed to disclose her Planned Parenthood award status while attacking those seeking to expose the eugenics founded organization !!!!

Now Pro-Lifers are fighting back…and they are seeking to respond to this one-sided attack of their message. But the Supposed “Open Minded” and “Unbiased” hard-core pro-abortion ATC has refused them the chance to post a rebuttal…so Black Pro-Lifer, Ryan Scott Bomberger, has posted a rebuttal on his website which I have posted below…

22 Apr 2011
SIMPLY TUCKER’d OUT
OP-ED by Ryan Scott Bomberger, The Radiance Foundation

Cynthia Tucker’s April 13th column, “Abortion is black genocide. Nonsense of course” is itself the nonsense. She writes from sheer hyperbole and outright distortions. But she’s an abortion apologist; it comes with the territory.

Margaret Sanger was an avowed, unapologetic eugenist and incorporated this racist pseudoscience into every effort of her Birth Control crusade. It’s not some conspiracy; it’s documented history. It’s as verifiable as Planned Parenthood awarding Ms. Tucker the Margaret Sanger Award last year for her journalistic “advocacy of abortion” and defense of the nation’s largest abortion chain. Some call that shilling.

And yes, abortion is their business, which is why they mandated all of their affiliates to provide abortions by 2013. With $1 billion in assets, they spend millions in every state on preventing any prolife protections (waiting periods, parental consent/notification, women’s-right-to-know, ultrasound, father’s rights, clinic standards) in order to protect their largest revenue stream of over $200 million annually—from abortions.

We have more access and usage of contraception than ever before in our history, yet the unintended pregnancy rate, according to the CDC, has remained at 50% for decades. Poverty has only risen since abortion was legalized in 1973; U.S. Census Bureau reports it’s the highest since the War on Poverty in the 60s. More contraception has only seen more abortions. Facts matter.

But Ms. Tucker has chosen to ignore the research and resort to something simpler—demonization. In fact, Ms. Tucker’s “Maggie” Award was won, in part, by an article she penned deriding The Radiance Foundation’s Endangered Species billboard/web campaign that led the public to TooManyAborted.com. As in the April 13th column, last year’s article could not accept the existence of black prolifers nor our focus on dealing with abortion’s devastating impact on the urban community. What about 60% of black pregnancies in NYC ending in abortion? This is the “logical solution” to life that is unplanned?

I didn’t realize as a black individual, I had to remain on the ideological plantation. According to Ms. Tucker and other abortion advocates, who regularly spew racial and gender animus, blacks who dare believe in the humanity of the unborn are mere puppets. Prolife blacks, in their view, are enmeshed in some conspiracy and incapable of thinking for themselves. Now, this is racism. As much as abortion defenders like mining for it, it’s a shame they are the ones ignoring racism where it historically exists while churning out epithets to avoid dealing with the epidemic of abortion in the black community. Tucker’s baseless accusations reveal how little she knows about Dr. Johnny Hunter or many other prolife advocates who are engaged in their communities helping those in need, unwilling to wait for the government to ride in on a white, black or brown horse (had to make sure I was inclusive).

As one who was adopted and an adoptive father, I know the beauty of possibility and the passion with which people from all races defend human life in all of its stages. It’s a favorite talking point for abortion apologists, but I know of few people who are single-issue minded. As if having a singular focus on a human injustice is something to be ashamed of, anyway. Abolitionists had a singular focus to abolish the inhumanity of slavery. Perhaps they should have first worried about housing, health care, job opportunities, and equal pay before they embarked on such a narrow-minded mission.

Eugenics has been the three-corded strand (racism, elimination of the “unfit”, overpopulation mythology) that ties slavery, anti-miscegenation laws, separate but equal, Jim Crow laws, birth control and the epidemic of abortion together in an inseparable bind. It is the driving force behind Planned Parenthood, NARAL’s and abortion apologists’ relentless campaign to justify abortion no matter the reason, no matter the cost. We saw the disastrous consequence of this pro-abortion radicalism in Philly’s “House of Horrors” where abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s butchery went unabated for decades thanks to NARAL’s silence.

Abortion apologists like Ms. Tucker choose to ignore the voluminous irrefutable evidence of the racism and eugenics that defined Planned Parenthood’s beginnings and unaltered course. She chooses to throw out schools of red herrings and make laughable and completely unfounded accusations. Yet she supports those things that offer temporary assistance but cause perpetual dependence—the very cause of 70% fatherlessness and single parent poverty in the black community. Perhaps there’s just a little too much sheen coming off of her new “Maggie” award to keep her from seeing beyond the shiny empty trophy.

Ryan Bomberger is the Chief Creative Officer of The Radiance Foundation, a Georgia based 501(c)(3) life-affirming organization. He is the Emmy Award-winning Creative Professional behind the “Black Children Are An Endangered Species” billboard and TooManyAborted.com. He’s an adoptive father who resides in metro Atlanta with his amazing wife and four children.

Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member in good standing with the racist American Eugenics Society. Sanger had board members who were known for their racist writing and Sanger published many of those in her publications. Sanger called for parents to have a QUOTE: LICENSE TO BREED controlled by people who believed in her eugenic philosophy. She wanted all would be parents to go before her eugenic boards to request a “PERMIT TO BREED“.

Margaret Sanger once said, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.” Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

In Margaret Sanger’s, “Birth Control and Racial Betterment,” Feb 1919. Birth Control Review , Library of Congress Microfilm 131:0099B .
Sanger states, “Before eugenists and others who are laboring for racial betterment can succeed, they must first clear the way for Birth Control. Like the advocates of Birth Control, the eugenists, for instance, are seeking to assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit. Both are seeking a single end but they lay emphasis upon different methods.

Eugenists emphasize the mating of healthy couples for the conscious purpose of producing healthy children, the sterilization of the unfit to prevent their populating the world with their kind and they may, perhaps, agree with us that contraception is a necessary measure among the masses of the workers, where wages do not keep pace with the growth of the family and its necessities in the way of food, clothing, housing, medical attention, education and the like.

We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the unfit but upon stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health. While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfitEugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit…

Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons and immoral‘ , to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”.

I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people. Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.
Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger, 1950

In addition, Planned Parenthood’s top award is called the Margaret Sanger Award, despite the fact that Sanger was an admitted Klan speaker. This is what Sanger wrote in her autobiography, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

A stunning documentary on Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood’s attitude toward eugenics and race- has been produced and Planned Parenthood and their cronies are seeking to discredit it. The film: Maafa21 is over 2 hours long and contains original documents from the files of Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood, The Eugenics Movement, and many of their supporters. In addition, the film is loaded with African American experts, is hosted by two African Americans, and contains many quotes opposing Planned Parenthood from early African American civil rights activists. Despite this the Planned Parenthood journalist mouthpieces NEVER discredit the information provided in the Maafa21 documentary, rather that attempt to discredit the motive and the skin color of the producers of the film. Without issuing one criticism to Sanger’s avowed racism and Planned Parenthood’s continued support for her actions, these Maafa21 critics are also disguising the fact that they are tightly connected to Planned Parenthood’s agenda and operations and in some cases are even receiving funding from them. Among the newest efforts is a radically pro-abortion group called Sister Song who is airing attacks on GritTV.

Sister Song is staffed by NARAL and former Planned Parenthood employees. Sister Song’s National Policy Coordinator, Heidi Williamson, is the former President of NARAL GA Education , While Corean Elam, Sister Song’s Executive Assistant and Office Manager is the former Administrative Assistant for Planned Parenthood of Champaign County. So, of course if you worked with the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) and Planned Parenthood- I think your opinion on this documentary is pretty well established, don’t you?

To top it off, once again Planned Parenthood is rewarding their advocates. Click Here and see that the Executive Director of Sister Song, Loretta Ross, will be the keynote speaker for the 2011 Planned Parenthood Annual Luncheon.

Now….Planned Parenthood with many of their founding board and past presidents who were members of the American Eugenics Society and whose founder Margaret Sanger was a racist KLAN speaker – has now awarded the many journalists who give their true agendas cover:

One Planned Parenthood Maggie Award recipient is Cynthia Tucker who wrote an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, entitled: “Is Abortion a Racist Plot? Of Course Not” . This article , doing the bidding of Planned Parenthood, was clearly written in my opinion, to offset the powerful impact of documentaries like Maafa21 and exposing of Black Genocide from abortion.

One says it, the other swears by it

Tucker and others appear to get their “facts” from another so-called ‘unbiased’ journalist and Planned Parenthood supporter, who published an article on this subject: Michelle Goldberg. This “journalist” who also writes for the New York Times, receives funding from Planned Parenthood, the very organization which Maafa21 exposes! In fact, Goldberg was a recent featured speaker for Planned Parenthood events and Planned Parenthood has funded Goldberg’s speaking events, where she promotes her books. It is clear that Goldberg has an investment in seeing that Planned Parenthood is NEVER discredited.

According to media announcements of Goldberg’s speaking arrangements with Planned Parenthood- we also find out that Goldenberg has been involved in Planned Parenthood for many years, originally in Minnesota where she used to live. In 2011, the paper reports that Goldberg is also a member of the First Choice Luncheon Committee and the area affiliate board, and had this to say “My concern is for the future — my kids, my grandkids. I want them to have the same choices we had or we made for ourselves. I care a lot because I feel each person should have a choice in this very personal matter,” said Goldenberg. “There is such a need for more education, and Planned Parenthood is good at filling that need. I don’t feel the public understands what Planned Parenthood mission is. It’s primarily an educational organization, definitely not a contraceptive or abortion mill.”

With that view of Goldberg’s despite the fact that Planned Parenthood’s largest profits come from abortion- we see how biased she really is.

But the real kicker here is that Michelle Goldberg continues to malign the documentary film: Maafa21, but, has not in full disclosure revealed that she is on the board of Southwest & Central Florida Planned Parenthood.

Michelle Goldberg is a mouthpiece for Planned Parenthood NOT A JOURNALIST !@!!!

Here is a Planned Parenthood website advertising Michele Goldberg as their Key Note speaker in Jan 2010 and here Goldberg speaks for a Florida Planned Parenthood in October of 2010 – hardly an “Unbiased” reporter, don’t you think?

( PS – Here are pictures of Michelle Goldberg at a NARAL pro-abortion Conference )

More Links on Goldberg’s ties to Planned Parenthood here:

And here she speaks at a Planned Parenthood event in 2010

Here Goldberg is FUNDED by Planned Parenthood

Here is what Goldberg Tweeted in Feb of 2011, “Excited for the Planned Parenthood rally tomorrow, even though I find chanting and whoo-hooing difficult, mortifying. #feb26″

So, the next time you read something Ms. Tucker or Ms. Goldberg writes – keep her bias in mind and remember that she was rewarded by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s top abortion clinic.

Another New York Times, Planned Parenthood media mouthpiece is Linda Greenhouse. In this Feb 2011, Opinion piece written in the Times, What Would Shirtley Do? , Greenhouse writes, “activists like Mark Crutcher, a former car salesman from Denton, Tex., whose Life Dynamics Incorporated produced and promotes a film depicting abortion as “black genocide in 21st-century America.

According to one news outlet, Greenhouse has participated in pro-abortion marches. But, the most surprising detail in the hit piece Greenhouse wrote is the FACT that Ms. Linda Greenhouse of the New York Times is also a Featured Speaker for PLANNED PARENTHOOD.

WOW…what a shock the a Planned Parenthood speaker would try and discredit Maafa21 and the abortion black genocide connection clearly laid out in the film. The 2010 Event which Greenhouse spoke out was in Houston, Tx the site of the then Planned Parenthood largest abortion clinic smack in the center of both African American and Hispanic neighborhoods.

The invitation reads, “The event commemorates the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, one of the most important Supreme Court decisions in our country’s history of human rights. Highlighting this year’s Luncheon will be Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Linda Greenhouse.” But, wait, did I miss the “disclaimer by Ms. Greenhouse in her Op-Ed? Perhaps the fact that she also spoke at this west Palm Beach Planned Parenthood event in March of 2010 might be worth mentioning. ( I would suspect she doesn’t speak to Planned Parenthood for FREE…therefore she is being paid by them and then using her journalist pen to defame those who oppose Planned Parenthood) HMMMMMMM……

Another Attack Dog from the radical pro-abortion side is Pam Chamberlain, writer for the Progressive Huffington Post.

Chamberlain wrote this Hit Piece admitting that Maafa21 is having an impact. Her article in form with the others attacks the “motives” of filmmaker Mark Crutcher without disproving one single fact documented in the film. How typical?

But- If Crutcher is to be questioned because he is pro-life, why are these attack dogs able to write hit pieces (without disproving one fact Maafa21 presents) given that they are all supporters in radical ways of Planned Parenthood and abortion in general?

Chamberlain, the Huff post fails to point out wrote a book called: Reproducing Patriarchy: Reproductive Rights Under Siege.” Defending Reproductive Rights: An Activist Resource Kit, recommend by the very pro-abortion group: Medical Students for Choice.

Here is how Pam Chamberlain describes herself on the pro-abortion blog: RH REality Check
About Me
Pam Chamberlain is Senior Researcher of Political Research Associates, a progressive think tank that tracks the U.S. Right. She studies and writes about opposition to the reproductive justice and LGBTQ rights movements, and is a member of the editorial board of Public Eye, PRA’s quarterly. She has been involved with feminist, peace, and human rights activism since her days as a high school teacher, and maintains a commitment to making research from various academic fields accessible to activists.

The Group “Civil Liberties and Public Policy” which says that it is a national reproductive rights (pro-abortion) and justice organization dedicated to educating, mentoring, and inspiring new generations of advocates, leaders, and supporters, had Chamberlain speak at it’s CLPP’s 24th annual activist conference, entitled: From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom. Does Chamberlain sound like an “unbiased” reporter?

Chamberlain led a seminar entitled: Resisting the Right and these were the goals: This workshop gives an overview of the Right, including an analysis of the ways in which the attacks on abortion and providers… Presenters will highlight successes of the Right and offer strategies for resistance.

And on her website Political Research Associates , Chamberlain is described this way: She has been involved with peace and human rights activism for many years. Currently she helps schools and community groups handle right-wing resistance to multicultural education and programs for gay and lesbian students. She helped create four Activist Resource Kits for Political Research Associates and has been the lead researcher on their Campus Activism Project. She maintains a commitment to making information about the political Right accessible to diverse audiences and to helping organizations plan effective strategies to fight the Right

And here, Chamberlain speaks at a conference put on by “Concerned Clergy for Choice”
(Abortion) where Planned Parenthood and CCFC offer on camera “Media Training” for the Clergy.

Here is MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow accepting the Planned Parenthood “Maggie Award” on her program – note the award is named after the racist and Klan speaking Planned Parenthood founder: Margaret Sanger with no protest by Maddow ! Although as far as I can tell, Maddow has all but ignored Maafa21, she continues to malign pro-life people in general…despite her obvious pro-abortion views, she claims to be an unbiased journalist !

You might be interested to read how she gives Planned Parenthood cover from their connection to what Maddow calls racist anti-immigration organizations: Read thisRachel Maddow: “Arizona Anti-Immigration Law Written By Racists” is that a FAIR statement? What about the Planned Parenthood Connection?

Below is the Press Release issued by Planned Parenthood (in part)
Rachel Maddow, Glamour Magazine, and the AJC’s Cynthia Tucker Among Planned Parenthood’s 2010 Maggie Award Winners

Washington, DC — Today, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) presented six Maggie Awards to journalists and news organizations for their exceptional coverage of reproductive rights and health care issues. The awards luncheon is part of Planned Parenthood’s annual Organizing and Policy Summit, which brings together hundreds of Planned Parenthood staff and volunteers from across the country, as well as hundreds of young high school and college activists.

“It’s easy to fall into the trap of just reporting the ‘he said she said’ debate when it comes to reproductive health issues,” said PPFA President Cecile Richards. “But these journalists delved deep into the issues and provided their audiences with a better understanding of how reproductive health plays out in politics, communities and the lives of individuals. For that, we’re grateful.”
This year’s Maggie Award winners covered issues ranging from highly questionable adoption practices by so-called crisis pregnancy centers to female genital mutilation among immigrants in the U.S., the debate over health insurance coverage for abortion as part of health care reform, and the use of racially charged rhetoric by opponents of legal abortion.
The 2010 Maggie Award Winners are
• Commentary: Cynthia Tucker, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, for: “Is Abortion a Racist Plot? Of Course Not” and “Ga. Senate’s New Concern for Black Children”
• News Magazine: The Nation for: “Shotgun Adoption”
• Women’s Magazine: Glamour for: “The Serious Health Decision Women Aren’t Talking About”
• Online Reporting: Lynn Harris, Salon.com, for: “Our Daughters Should Not Be Cut”
• TV News Reporting: The Rachel Maddow Show, MSNBC, for its coverage of the health care reform
debate, the murder of Dr. George Tiller and the anti-abortion movement
The awards luncheon was hosted by veteran journalist and former ABC News correspondent Lynn Sherr, who also received a Maggie Award in 1989 and 1992.

Then there is Miriam Zoila Pérez

She is an editor at Feministing.com, a popular Feminist blog. Her writing has been featured online and off in publications such as RH Reality Check a radically pro-abortion blog, The Nation, Alternet and The American Prospect, among others. In addition to numerous speaking engagements about LGBTQ issues, , Perez has spoken at the National Council of Abortion Providers Conference, and the Civil Liberties and Public Policy Abortion Rights to Social Justice, and Planned Parenthood NYC, and national groups like NARAL Pro-Choice America. Perez downplays the effect of the Black Anti- Abortion movement when she writes, “In fact, the black anti-abortion movement doesn’t look all that different from the mainstream, and mostly white, version.” Perez fails to disclose who very close connections to pro-abortion and Planned Parenthood organizations while appearing to pen a story which she tries to make look unbiased. The story slants the motives and gender divided of the black anti-abortion movement to make it look like men want to control women, when in fact, more women oppose abortion and see it as black genocide.

Back to Maafa21:

Maafa21 plays an interview with African American forced sterilization victim by the name of Elaine Riddick who was sterilized by the North Carolina Eugenics Board. Guess who funded that eugenics board? It was (WHITE) Margaret Sanger’s financial backer: Clarence Gamble (A WHITE MALE).

Maafa21 also proves that Planned Parenthood had many board members involved with the racist Eugenics movement, all were WHITE MALES…. In fact,(WHITE MALE:) and former Planned Parenthood President Alan Guttmacher was a former VP of the racist American Eugenics Society. Planned Parenthood’s founder, (WHITE FEMALE), Margaret Sanger admitted she gave a speech to the (WHITE RACIST) KLAN so rousing that she received an additional dozen more invites by the (WHITE RACIST) Klan. How come with that history, Planned Parenthood still names their highest award after that WHITE KLAN SPEAKER? Maafa21 is not partisan and blasts several Republicans , such as (WHITE MALE) Nixon, and doesn’t even mention President Obama. Maafa21 documents the involvement of “WEALTHY WHITE ELITISTS” in this “CONSPIRACY” to eliminate blacks. In fact as recent as July of 2009 (WHITE ELITIST) Ruth Bader Ginsburg, of the Supreme Court, said that she felt abortion was legalized to “get rid of populations we do not want to have too many of.” when she stated, “ Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.” Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg , New York Times Magazine: July 2009 – Just which “populations” did she think there were “too many of”?

And Sanger herself: “ I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people. Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.
Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger, 1950

The film Maafa 21 shows the connection from slavery and eugenics to birth control, abortion and black genocide today and is routinely called “stunning,” “breathtaking,” and “jaw-dropping.” Many viewers have said they were left “speechless” by what they saw and several have told us that it filled them with anger. One African-American pastor and 1960’s civil rights activist said, “I had always been suspicious about some of this stuff, but this film connects the dots in a way I never really understood before.” Another described it as “lightening in a bottle” and said that for the first time in his life he has a tool to educate the African-American community about the abortion lobby’s real agenda.

Maafa21 proves it’s points with irrefutable documentation that abortion is simply an extension of racism and eugenics targeting blacks for centuries. After watching Maafa21, viewers often comment that it “connects the dots.”

Before you take either side on this issue, I strongly encourage you to watch the full 2.5 hours in the documentary Maafa21, do not allow those on the Planned Parenthood payrolls to influence your decision- see the proof for yourself here

In 1962, Vice President of the American Eugenics Society at the time, Dr. Alan Guttmacher wants abortion laws patterned after Sweden and other nations. One reason they list to allow abortions is :EUGENIC ! Also- Guttmacher at this point says he does NOT BELIEVE that abortion should be left up to the patient or their doctor, rather it should be up to “Special Board” to approve the abortion. Eugenic founded Planned Parenthood organization gives awards to journalists who hide their agenda

Planned Parenthood with many of their founding board and past presidents who were members of the American Eugenics Society and whose founder Margaret Sanger was a racist KLAN speaker – has now awarded the many journalists who give their true agendas cover:

( PS – Here are pictures of Michelle Goldberg at a NARAL pro-abortion Conference )

And here she speaks at a Planned Parenthood event in 2010

Here Goldberg is FUNDED by Planned Parenthood

So, the next time you read something Ms. Tucker writes – keep her bias in mind and remember that she was rewarded by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s top abortion clinic.

Another recipient was MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow – no shock there – Maddow is admittedly pro-abortion. But,you might be interested to read how she gives Planned Parenthood cover from their connection to what Maddow calls racist anti-immigration organizations: Read thisRachel Maddow: “Arizona Anti-Immigration Law Written By Racists” is that a FAIR statement?

• TV News Reporting: The Rachel Maddow Show, MSNBC, for its coverage of the health care reform debate, the murder of Dr. George Tiller and the anti-abortion movement
The awards luncheon was hosted by veteran journalist and former ABC News correspondent Lynn Sherr, who also received a Maggie Award in 1989 and 1992.
