TN media spins Planned Parenthood’s lack of prenatal care services

It is beyond amazing how the nation’s largest abortion corporation Planned Parenthood will mislead the public about the services they provide, all while the media is willingly complicit in their deceptions, by spinning the facts about prenatal care and other services.  The latest example can be seen in a Tennessee media outlet, which compares prenatal care to “vaginal infections.”

Lest you have the same puzzled reaction as I did, I will explain – or attempt to.

One of the more well-known examples of how Planned Parenthood has lied to the media and the public about its services is the false claim and out-right lie that Planned Parenthood provides mammograms. This myth was debunked despite the efforts of complicit media outlets, which allowed Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards and other staffers and supporters to repeat the falsehood without question or a single challenge to Planned Parenthood’s alleged facts. Here is the truth, from Richards’ own lips:

Once Planned Parenthood was caught red-handed in the lie, they had to figure out a way to leverage the marketing benefits that their false claim provided them. To do this, Planned Parenthood directed media supporters to incidents where it provided a breast exam which resulted in a patient seeking a mammogram that was never offered by Planned Parenthood to begin with.

And, of course, the media continues to comply, spinning the lack of mammograms to favor Planned Parenthood.

Yet nowhere else in the media’s disillusioned minds would they consider touting report after report on a single OB/GYN or nurse practitioner’s office which saved lives by giving breast exams, without one cent of government money. Nope, only for Planned Parenthood.

Now, a media outlet in Tennessee has done a similar sleight of hand trick regarding prenatal care at Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis.

BACKGROUND:

Nationally, the abortion giant has insisted over and again that prenatal care is one of its core services that women will lose if taxpayer funding is cut off.

That is, until this false claim was debunked by a Live Action investigation:

Live Action’s undercover footage (above) was so embarrassing for Planned Parenthood that the organization had to purge the term “prenatal” from the top portion of its website.

Despite this, politicians – and yes, media promoters – still make the false claim that prenatal care is a primary service of the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Despite the media’s willful blindness and apparent inability to research, it does seem logical that an organization claiming to specialize in “women’s health care” would, at the very least, offer prenatal care. But this is not the case with Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood’s latest 2015-2016 report shows that nationally, prenatal care services dropped nearly 46 percent in a single year (from 17,419 to 9,419).

Even more damning, the 2015 numbers also reveal that prenatal care at the abortion corporation has decreased nearly 70 percent since 2010, when prenatal services numbered 31,098.

TENNESSEE:

Journalist , who writes for  CommercialAppeal.com, recently published an article that included an interview with Sarah Wallett, medical director of Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis.

Weathersbee begins her report by stating that the Planned Parenthood abortionist was “lured” into her profession because of her “faith,” quoting Wallett as saying:

Becoming a doctor was a way of living out my faith, of taking care of people who needed me … and women were specifically who I saw as needing me.

Wallett moved to Tennessee from Kentucky. She prides herself in providing abortions, as the video below shows:

Weathersbee focused her story on an alleged OB/GYN shortage in the area. So, of course, any good journalist knows that if the topic is legitimate physician shortages, you should go running to the nation’s largest abortion corporation — not a birthing center or a hospital or another physician who actually delivers babies — for a statement… right?

In what appears to be a creative way to spin the fact that Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis doesn’t offer any prenatal care services,  writes the following:

While Planned Parenthood doesn’t provide prenatal care, the gynecological examinations that Wallett provides have helped women detect vaginal infections, some of which can lead to premature births and miscarriages.

Despite admitting that the Memphis Planned Parenthood facilities do not provide prenatal care services, the journalist points out how important prenatal care is, adding:

For one thing, Shelby County has made significant progress in tamping down its infant mortality rate. Since 2006, that rate has dropped from 13.8 percent per 1,000 live births in 2006 to 8.2 percent in 2015.

That improvement came, in no small part, because the county pushed earlier prenatal care and emphasis on maternal health.

So, let’s recap. Prenatal care is important, Planned Parenthood doesn’t provide the service, yet this qualifies them to be interviewed for Weathersbee’s story.

Confused? So am I.

In order to help Weathersbee see how ridiculous her decision to include Planned Parenthood is, Live Action News has done a little bit of research of our own in order to investigate just what Planned Parenthood provides in the state.

PATIENTS:

If you examine the 2016 annual report for Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis, (which serves 42 counties in Tennessee), you learn that the facility saw 7,729 patients in 2016 and 7,191 in 2015.  And, according to its website, it currently sees 14,561 patients in the entire state.

In contrast, Tennessee federal health centers – which are listed under the Health Resources Services Administration’s website (HRSA) and which offer a vast array of health services – saw 369,445 patients in 2015 alone.

Federal health centers under HRSA served 5,460 prenatal patients as well, while Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis served zero.

Despite  spin, nationally, Planned Parenthood’s most recent prenatal services numbers are abysmal, dropping nearly 46 percent in a single year, and 70 percent since 2010, as I’ve already mentioned.

CANCER SCREENINGS:

According to the Planned Parenthood website mentioned above, Planned Parenthood offered 2,552 cancer screenings statewide.

Tennessee federal health centers under HRSA were able to provide 174,000 cervical cancer screenings.

BREAST EXAMS:

In 2016, breast exams at Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis decreased nearly 16 percent (1,060 in 2015 to 893).

This trend follows national decreases which show that according to Planned Parenthood’s most recently published report, breast exams at the abortion corporation declined nearly 12 percent in one year, from 363,803 in 2014-2015 to 321,700 in 2015.

In addition, between 2004 and 2015-2016, breast exams at Planned Parenthood declined nationally by more than 65 percent (925,763 to 321,700).

ABORTIONS:

In 2015, Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis performed 3,313 abortions (medical and surgical) out of the 9,113 induced termination of pregnancy reports made to the state, (the most recent report available). Numbers from 2016 reveal that Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis’s abortion numbers were lower, at 2,383.

CONTRACEPTIVE CARE:

Contraceptive care Planned Parenthood Tennessee vs FQHC

An analysis conducted by Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate,” the Guttmacher Institute, compared Federally Qualified Health Center sites (FQHC) to Planned Parenthood centers in areas that offered publicly funded contraception care for 2015. What they found doesn’t look so good.

In counties that offered publicly funded contraception care:

  • Only 4 out of 95 TN counties had at least one Planned Parenthood.
  • 66 counties had at least one FQHC site.
  • 91 counties didn’t have a single Planned Parenthood.

In addition:

  • Planned Parenthood served fewer contraception clients in one-fourth of the TN counties where they had a Planned Parenthood facility.
  • Only 1.5 percent (4 out of 262) of TN’s publicly funded family planning facilities were Planned Parenthood facilities, which served just 6 percent of contraception clients. FQHC sites served 16 percent.

FACILITIES:

At the time of this report, Planned Parenthood was operating only 4 centers in Tennessee.

However, according to the Rural Health Information Hub website, there are 112 Rural Health Clinics in Tennessee and 29 Federally Qualified Health Centers which provide services at 179 sites in the state. These centers offer a vast array of primary care services for women, unlike Planned Parenthood.

The numbers show how few services Planned Parenthood provides in Tennessee compared to other federally funded health centers.

This should cause journalists like Weathersbee to take note. But instead of focusing on health centers in Tennessee that actually help residents receive vital health care services, Weathersbee, like other media supporters of the abortion corporation, fixated on Planned Parenthood.

The public deserves to know the facts. After all, they send hundreds of thousands of dollars of government grant money to Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis each year.

And, as Live Action News has previously documented, in the past ten years, services nationally at Planned Parenthood decreased while government funds increased more than 81 percent ($305.3 million in 2005 to $554.6 million in 2015).  These increased tax dollars did not result in vital health services, but instead led to Planned Parenthood’s cornering of nearly 35 percent of the U.S. abortion market in the United States. That’s more than 320,000 abortions annually – 900 per day, one every 96 seconds.

Why did Senator Lisa Murkowski vote to make taxpayers support Planned Parenthood, Alaska’s number one abortion provider?

Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) are being lauded by Planned Parenthood after the two Republican lawmakers voted against a repeal of ObamaCare because they did not want to defund the abortion corporation for one year. Murkowski and Collins are now making the rounds, touting Planned Parenthood as a health organization that women cannot live without. This, however, is totally untrue. Federal health centers, which outnumber Planned Parenthood by the thousands nationally, offer a wide range of primary care services as well as services identical to those offered by Planned Parenthood – except abortion, which is not healthcare, as clearly seen in the video below, in which former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino explains the most common type of abortion procedure:

These two Republican Senators are deceiving their constituents about the “services” Planned Parenthood provides while walking in lock step with the largest abortion chain in the United States.

In part one of this two-part series, we will examine Planned Parenthood’s services in Murkowski’s state of Alaska. In part two, we will scrutinize Planned Parenthood’s services in Maine and compare them to the claims of Senator Collins.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)

Senator Murkowski has spoken out of both sides of her mouth regarding Planned Parenthood for years. She once stated, “Taxpayer dollars should never be used to pay for abortions, but I will not vote to deny Alaskans access to the health services that Planned Parenthood provides.”

To Planned Parenthood’s benefit, Murkowski has kept that promise. In refusing to repeal ObamaCare, Murkowski has kept the nation’s largest abortion corporation funded to the tune of half a billion dollars annually. In doing this, she has also chosen to allocate vital health dollars away from more worthy federal health centers which offer a vast array of primary care services to women, men and children.

Live Action News has previously shown that Planned Parenthood has seen dramatic decreases in services like contraception, Pap tests, cancer screenings, and breast exams –  all while the organization’s government funding and abortions are increasing nationally.

And state trends are not so different from national numbers. In fact, Planned Parenthood is Alaska’s largest abortion provider. So how, in good conscience, can Senator Murkowski continually vote to keep taxpayer funding for the organization while ignoring this fact?

Here are some numbers from Murkowski’s state of Alaska:

Facilities

Planned Parenthood operates just four centers in Alaska, yet there are 29 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) which provide services at 177 sites in Alaska, according to the Rural Health Info hub.

Patients

While Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands saw 79,532 patients in 2015 in the four states they oversee, federal health centers – listed under the Health Resources Services Administration’swebsite (HRSA) – saw 110,494 in Alaska alone.

When factoring in the additional three states (see numbers below) the federal health center numbers reveal how vast the federal program is compared to Planned Parenthood.

A look at Planned Parenthood’s own website shows that in Alaska the organization claims to serve 7,295 clients for whom they provided the services such as:

  • Contraception
  • STI tests
  • Cancer screenings

A media report claimed that just 4500 of Planned Parenthood’s clients in Alaska rely on Medicaid. That reduces the numbers drastically. Despite this, as previously pointed out, federal health centers cared for over 110,000 patients in 2015.

Contraception Care:

An analysis conducted by Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate,” the Guttmacher Institute, which reviewed Planned Parenthood centers (PP), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and Title X facilities for 2015 revealed:

  • 5 out of 28 counties in Alaska which provided publicly funded contraception care had at least one Planned Parenthood.
  • 27 counties had at least one FQHC site that provided contraception services.
  • 23 counties had no Planned Parenthood centers.
  • Slightly more than 3 percent (5 out of 157) of publicly funded family planning centers were operated by Planned Parenthood.
  • PP served 19 percent of contraception clients while FQHC sites served 45 percent.
  • In 4 of the 5 counties that had a Planned Parenthood, PP served fewer contraception clients than FQHC sites.

PP versus FQHC Contraception Care Alaska 2015 per Guttmacher

Cancer Screenings:

While Planned Parenthood’s website claims the abortion corporation provided 2,667 cancer screenings in Alaska, a breakdown of clinical services published by HRSA shows that in 2015 alone, 43.3 percent (nearly 48,000) of the 110,494 patients served by federal health centers in the state received cervical cancer screenings there.

Abortions:

Planned Parenthood in Alaska is operated by Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI), which runs centers in four states: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, and Washington.

PPGNHI was formed in April of 2015 from a merger between Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest (PPGNW) and Planned Parenthood of Hawaii (PPHI).

In 2014, while cancer screenings made up just 8 percent of PPGNW’s services, abortions were 12 percent of the services PPGNW provided. In that same year (just prior to their merger) while PPHI’s abortion services totaled a whopping 21 percent, cancer screenings and annual exams at Planned Parenthood of Hawaii were just 5 percent of what it provided.

PPHI – more abortions than cancer screenings in 2014

By 2015, the affiliate’s annual report showed that abortion made up 13 percent of services, while cancer screenings were 11 percent of services. The vast majority of the services provided were family planning at 48 percent and HIV testing and treatment at 26 percent. Pregnancy testing was only one percent of the services PPGNWHI provided. Government grants totaled 19 percent of the affiliate’s revenue.

PPGNW – more abortions than cancer screenings

Statistics published by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Bureau of Vital Statistics show that in 2015, a total of 1,334 induced terminations were reported to the state. According to numbers made public in a recent lawsuit, Planned Parenthood committed 1,300 of those 1,334 abortions, making them the provider of 97 percent of all abortions in Alaska.

Tax Funded Abortions:

PP in Alaska pushed Medicaid for abortion customer

Live Action News has documented that Planned Parenthood abortionists in Alaska believe all abortions are “medically necessary,” thereby justifying the use of taxpayer funds to end the lives of preborn children in the state.

A recent call made by a Live Action investigator documented a Planned Parenthood staffer in Alaska coaching a prospective abortion patient as to how she could receive taxpayer-funded Medicaid to pay for her abortion.

Statistics published by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Bureau of Vital Statistics show that in 2015, 32.8 percent of the women who obtained abortions used Medicaid to pay for their abortions. In 2016, despite a decrease in the state’s abortions, those that were taxpayer-funded increased to 44.1 percent.

Medicaid (tax) funded abortions in Alaska 2015

According to the Alaska Induced Termination of Pregnancy Statistics reports, which include the total number of abortions covered by Medicaid, state taxpayers paid $135,637 for abortions in 2015 and $153,208 in 2016.

The truth is that every day, senators like Murkowski and Collins stand in the way of Congressional efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, and that means the American people will be forced to continue giving $1.5 million each day to an abortion business which will continue to kill 900 innocent preborn children every day.

No, the sky won’t fall if Planned Parenthood is defunded. Here’s why.

Posted in Cecile Richards, FQHC, Planned Parenthood and FQHC, Planned Parenthood three percent myth with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on August 3, 2017 by saynsumthn

If you listen to the pundits who support Planned Parenthood, the sky will surely fall if the abortion chain is defunded.

If even one Planned Parenthood affiliate or center has to close as a result of defunding, they say, the patients Planned Parenthood serves will have no access to health services elsewhere. This is utter nonsense, of course.

The claim that removing federal dollars from Planned Parenthood will shutter their doors is ludicrous. As Live Action News has previously reported, the organization’s own annual reports reveal that Planned Parenthood has been netting a profit for many years. Almost every year since 2000, Planned Parenthood’s revenue has exceeded their expenses — not just by a few dollars, but by tens of millions of dollars (yearly surpluses of $12.2 million in 2001 to a high of $155.5 million in 2010). In addition, with the threat of defunding now more real under the newly elected Congress and president, Planned Parenthood has repeatedly claimed that private donations are suddenly flooding into their coffers.

For the sake of argument, let’s imagine what would happen if we applied this same logic — that a profitable organization should be taxpayer funded, merely because closing would disenfranchise its customers — to any other business. Let’s suppose it was thought that department store chains should receive taxpayer funding because online sales are hurting chain stores’ business. The argument could be made that these department stores have served many people, that they are located in many disadvantaged communities, and that poor people who do not have internet access will be disenfranchised if these stores close. Should we then give these stores half a billion taxpayer dollars every year (the amount Planned Parenthood receives) to keep them open?

The truth is that there are Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) already in place, which could serve the patients Planned Parenthood serves — outnumbering Planned Parenthood centers by the thousands (a 20 to 1 margin)– so why do Planned Parenthood spokespersons (many who earn six-figure salaries) want you to believe that American women could not survive without them?

Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards has even made totally unsupported claims that millions would be without healthcare if Congress votes to defund Planned Parenthood. Richards recently told Rolling Stone:

This is literally whether a young man in Texas can come to us for an STI testing, or whether a woman who has a lump in her breast can come to us in Ohio to have a breast exam or be referred for screenings, or whether a college student or a young person anywhere in the country can come to us for family planning. We’re talking about more than a million-and-a-half people who rely on Planned Parenthood, and for most of them we’re their only medical provider. As all of the medical institutions have said: There’s no one to take our place providing low- and moderate-income people with preventive health care. There isn’t any other entity that is doing that work.

Interesting that she mentions the breast screenings, because Planned Parenthood, as Live Action has documented, does not do mammograms — but FQHCs do.

I am curious, however, as to how the defunding of Planned Parenthood would cause the apocalypse, but closures of other non-profits — specifically hospitals, which one could argue offer far more needed “services” — would not.

Let me explain.

According to a 2015 report published by the Journal for Health Affairs, patient health was not significantly compromised when hospitals closed. The Non-Profit Quarterly reports pointed out with regards to the study that “vulnerable hospitals that have not been financially sustainable, with operating margins of ‑20% on average, have been the first to close, causing public concern that displaced patients will experience declining health and even death when access to care goes away.”

Despite this concern, the 2015 study found “no significant difference between the change in annual mortality rates for patients living in hospital service areas (HSAs) that experienced one or more closures and the change in rates in matched HSAs without a closure…. Nor was there a significant difference in the change in all-cause mortality rates following hospitalization….”

The unknown in the study was how the closures affected low income patients. But according to Non-Profit Quarterly:

Researchers reported that among Medicare patients there were no substantial changes in admissions, lengths of stay, or readmissions, but also cautioned that the study should not be interpreted to mean that every hospital loss is harmless….

While the study supports the argument that access to care has improved, the data does not, however, tell the whole story. One-third of institutions that were closed were “safety net” hospitals that treated large numbers of low-income and uninsured people. Since only easily-accessed Medicare patient information was reviewed, impact on those populations is still unknown.

Unknown? A study of three hospital closures from 2015, conducted by the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured and the Urban Institute, actually found that lower income and elderly patients were negatively affected and “were more likely to face transportation challenges and thus more likely to delay or forgo needed care.”

A photo of the clinics that outnumber Planned Parenthood 20 to 1.

But in Planned Parenthood’s case, there are already hundreds of FQHC alternatives available, open and ready to serve the public. A December 2015 Congressional Research Service report which compared the services of Planned Parenthood Federation of America-affiliated health centers (PPAHC) to those of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) found…

  • FQHCs are required to provide primary, preventive, and emergency health services.
  • FQHCs focus on providing more comprehensive primary care, dental, and behavioral health services.
  • FQHCs provide far more services in a given year than do PPAHCs.
  • PPAHCs focus their services on individuals of reproductive age; FQHCs provide services to individuals throughout their lifetimes.
  • FQHCs served 22.9 million people in 2014; PPAHCs served 2.7 million.
  • 358 counties have both a PPAHC and a FQHC.
  • FQHCs also receive federal grants that require them to provide family planning (among other services) to Medicaid beneficiaries.

Planned Parenthood and its supporters want the public to believe that only Planned Parenthood is able to care for the needs of the 2.5 million patients they “serve.” And they will suggest that if they are defunded and close facilities, the hundreds of FQHC that replace them (already in existence and serving patients, mind you) will be overwhelmed with patient influx, thus unable to address the many needs. (This was the same fear that plagued Democrats when they passed the Affordable Care Act, yet they argued that the system would be more than able to handle that influx.)

A study on the effects of the Affordable Care Act, conducted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and health care company Athenahealth, which gathered data from 15,700 of Athenahealth’s clients, found that new patient visits to primary care physicians only increased slightly. It was anticipated that uninsured patients now gaining insurance might have unmet medical needs, and their demand for services might overwhelm the capacity of primary care doctors. But according to the study, this idea proved false. Kathy Hempstead, director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, told USA Today that the study “suggests that, even though there’s been a big increase in coverage, it’s a relatively small part of the market and the delivery system is able to handle the demand.”

For years, Planned Parenthood has been closing centers despite a steady increase in funding under the Obama administration. The Congressional Research Service found that the number of PPHAC affiliates and facilities has declined since 2009-2010, when PPFA reported having 88 affiliates (a 32 percent decline) and 840 health centers (a 21 percent decline). And, as of December 20, 2016, there are now only 650 Planned Parenthood centers, indicating a 22.67 percent decline.

In addition, Planned Parenthood patients have also decreased over the years. In 2014, Planned Parenthood saw 2.5 million patients — down a whopping 24.24 percent since 1996, when they saw 3.3 million and received far less government funding ($177.5 million in 1996 compared to $553.7 million in 2014). In contrast, FQHCs have increased the number of patients seen in each year since 2009. From 2009 to 2014, FQHC patients increased from 18.9 million to 22.9 million.

Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortion in the nation. Live Action has documented how Planned Parenthood manipulates its own data to cover up the fact that abortion – not women’s health care – accounts for the lion’s share of the corporation’s services for pregnant women.

Defunding the largest chain of abortion clinics will not send millions of patients to their demise — and Planned Parenthood knows this. The truth is that taxpayer dollars can be better spent on real health care organizations that will serve the American public and maintain the sanctity of life in the process.

Baby harvesting Planned Parenthood receives support from Little House on Prairie star

A popular TV child star has come out in support of abortion biz Planned Parenthood, recently exposed for harvesting baby organs.

Melissa Gilbert, who starred in Michael Landon’s TV series, Little House on the Prairie, which still airs on many cable stations, showed her support of Planned Parenthood in several Facebook posts. Gilbert played the role of Laura Ingalls Wilder on the show. The 51-year-old Democrat has recently announced her campaign to run for Congress in Michigan.

Gilbert’s campaign is hoping to unseat freshman pro-life Republican Rep. Mike Bishop of Michigan’s 8th congressional district. On her Gilbert for Michigan website, she cites family as her reasons for running:

“I’m running for Congress to make life a little easier for all the families who feel they have fallen through the cracks in today’s economy. I believe building a new economy is a team effort, and we need to bring fresh voices to the table to get the job done.”

Gilbert for Michigan

A spokesman for the Mike Bishop campaign has called Gilbert a “tax cheat,” noting that she owes $360,000 in back taxes to the U.S. government and $112,000 to California.

Melissa Gilbert can afford to have a stylist for her dog, but cannot pay her taxes,” he said in a statement.

Her values our out of whack with the district.”

Gilbert’s “values” include support for Planned Parenthood an abortion organization exposed by the Center for Medical Progress as being involved in a baby organ harvesting operation. But, despite CMP’s now public under cover videos of Planned Parenthood staffers negotiating to sell the body parts of babies they harvested, Gilbert publicly showed support for Planned Parenthood on her campaign Facebook page, by changing her profile picture to the #StandwithPP meme.

Then, on September 29th, Gilbert asked her Facebook followers to support “Planned Parenthood Action on #PinkOutDay”

Gilbert also publicly went after Bishop for his call to defund Planned Parenthood writing, “On Friday, Mike Bishop and the House GOP voted to defund Planned Parenthood. Their vote put health care for thousands of women in Michigan at risk. Let’s tell Mike Bishop and the GOP to stop trying to defund Planned Parenthood, and get back to work! Online searches reveal Planned Parenthood’s focus is abortion

Posted in Planned Parenthood abortion numbers with tags , , , , , , on October 1, 2015 by saynsumthn

While Congress debated whether to continue funding Planned Parenthood, online searches revealed their focus is not women’s health but abortion.

Even though there are over 13,000 federally qualified health centers in the nation besides Planned Parenthood their PR machine is desperately attempting to convince the American public and their representatives that their main focus is not abortion.

But, a simple look online shows otherwise.

A quick google search,”Get abortion” turns up – Planned Parenthood with a few others abortion clinics mixed in! Hmmm.

Get abortion google Planned Parenthood

A look at the top google term: abortion pill and – surprise – there is Planned Parenthood again:

Abortion pill google Planned Parenthood

If you put in the term “abortion clinic” you get a number of clinics – but- rest assured – Planned Parenthood is among them as well.

Planned Parenthood claims they offer other services such as the following:

Yet, Planned Parenthood’s website does not appear in the top searches of any of these services – wonder why?

However, if you are looking for “abortion cost“, “abortion info“, “where can I get an abortion“, “early abortion“, “abortion 20 weeks“, “abortion medical“, “abortion options,” “make abortion appointment?“- Like a relative you cannot escape, Planned Parenthood is there.

Planned Parenthood, known for using abortion to cover child sexual rape and recently exposed for the selling of baby parts, receives over $528 million dollars a year in federal tax dollars. In addition, they have received millions from HHS.

Recently, Live Action News documented Planned Parenthood admitting that late term abortions are on the increase at their locations.

The largest professional referral organization for abortion is the Nation Abortion Federation. According to a list of “abortion providers” which NAF publishes online, Planned Parenthood is a top abortion provider in many states.

The NAF list (which does not include all clinics) revealed the following:

100% of abortion providers listed for South Dakota and Vermont were Planned Parenthood.

Almost 70% of abortion clinics listed in Colorado and New York were Planned Parenthood and over 70% in Oregon.

Half of the abortion providers listed in Utah were Planned Parenthood.

Over 25% of Florida abortion clinics referred by NAF are Planned Parenthood.

Half of NAF abortion clinics listed in New Jersey were Planned Parenthood.

One-third of NAF abortion clinics in Maine, one-fifth in Minnesota, Tennessee and Virginia, one-forth in New Mexico and one-eight in Texas were listed as Planned Parenthood.

In Pennsylvania, 20% were Planned Parenthood and over 20% in Maryland, 28% in Nevada, 30% in Washington State and 40% in New Hampshire were Planned Parenthood.

Despite all the proof that Planned Parenthood’s main focus is abortion, they want Congress to believe that if they remove tax dollars from the abortion business, women’s health services will be hurt.

Not true.

Prosecute Planned Parenthood says pro-life leader

Posted in Operation Rescue with tags , , , , , , on September 27, 2015 by saynsumthn

A national pro-life leader is calling for Planned Parenthood to be prosecuted after accusations that they are selling aborted baby parts.

Troy Newman, who is president of Operation Rescue and sits on the board as an adviser to The Center for Medical Progress, said their undercover videos show that Planned Parenthood is breaking the law.

Newman strongly criticized Planned Parenthood supporters in Congress who have attempted to realign the conversation to attack him and CMP lead investigator, David Daleiden, rather than looking at what he calls illegal activities of Planned Parenthood.

Troy Newman prosecute Planned Parenthood

“They are attempting to deflect that Planned Parenthood is violating the law by profiting from the sale of human body parts. That they are manipulating the abortion techniques to put profits ahead of the health safety of women. And, the videos also show that babies are being born alive and being murdered,” Newman stated.

To date, CMP has released 10 videos showing Planned Parenthood executives haggling over the price of organs even admitting they will crush above or below specific body parts to preserve the organs they want to harvest.

Listen,” says Newman, “Planned Parenthood has been caught with their bloody red hands in the cookie jar. They are breaking the law.

The videos have outraged Americans and prompted the majority of GOP Presidential contenders to vow to defund Planned Parenthood which currently receives over $528 million on federal tax dollars annually.

To help apply pressure, Newman is calling for pro-lifers to visit defund Planned Parenthood cards at www.defundPlannedParenthoodnow.com to get postcards that will be physically-delivered to Capitol Hill offices calling for the complete defunding of Planned Parenthood.

The cards read:

Dear Representative,

As people of conscience and American taxpayers, we are sickened and horrified by the recently-revealed videos of Planned Parenthood’s profiteering from the illicit sale of aborted children. We count it as your responsibility to hold hearings, expose this vile practice to all of the American public and eliminate the subsidization of Planned Parenthood.

But Newman said defunding the baby harvesting organization is not enough. He is calling for them to be prosecuted as well.

“What we need more than defunding Planned Parenthood and we do need to defund Planned Parenthood we need to prosecute Planned Parenthood,” he said.

Newman said that every attorney general should view the videos and then investigate and indict the abortionists who he said are clearly breaking state and federal law.

ProtestPP Oct 10 Planned Parenthood

He is also urging pro-lifers to protest Planned Parenthood on October 10th. The latest protest follows one in August where over 78,000 people turned out at 354 sites throughout the United States and in six foreign countries.

Anyone wishing to participate can lead an event or locate one at www.ProtestPP.com.
