Active shooting incidents at houses of worship more frequent than “health facilities” like Planned Parenthood

Posted in Planned Parenthood Shooting with tags , , , , , , , , , on December 12, 2015 by saynsumthn

According to a 2014 report from the FBI, more active shooter incidents occurred at houses of worship than health care facilities and none at abortion clinics. This is in complete contrast to the way the media is reporting on a 2015 shooting which occurred at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood.

FBI Active shooter 2013

The FBI report released in September of 2014, looked at 160 active shooter incidents that occurred between 2000 and 2013 throughout the U.S. It comes on the heels of several weeks of skewed media reporting claiming pro-life “rhetoric” prompted a lone and deranged shooter at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood November 27, 2015, which left three people dead and nine injured. As tragic as any act of violence is, the media and the abortion industry is attempting to portray violence at abortion clinics such as Planned Parenthood as a regular occurrence, something the FBI study disputes. To date, authorities investigating the 2015 shooting incident have not publicly commented on the motives of the shooter, Robert Lewis Dear who now faces first degree murder charges. Pro-life groups nationwide have condemned the act.

According to the FBI, between 2000 – 2013, shooters at health care facilities were outnumbered by shootings in all other categories. The largest percentage of incidents—45.6 percent—took place in a commercial environment (73 incidents), followed by 24.3 percent that took place in an educational environment (39 incidents). The remaining incidents occurred at the other location types with the lowest percentage being health care facilities, and of those, none were Planned Parenthood or abortion centers.

The FBI identified 11 separate incident location categories which included commercial areas (divided into malls, businesses open to pedestrian traffic, and businesses closed to pedestrian traffic), educational environments (divided into schools [pre-kindergarten through 12th grade] and Institutes of Higher Education), open spaces, government properties (divided into military and other government properties), residences, houses of worship, and health care facilities. Shooting incidents broke down as follows:

Businesses, Open to pedestrian traffic, 27.5% (44)
    Schools (Pre-K to 12), 16.9% (27)
Businesses, Closed to pedestrian traffic, 14.4% (23)
    Open Space, 9.4% (15)
Institutions of Higher Education 7.5%, (12)
    Other Government Properties, 6.9% (11)
    Residences, 4.4% (7)
    Malls, 3.8% (6)
    Houses of Worship, 3.8% (6)
    Military,3.1% (5)
    Health Care Facilities, 2.5% (4)

Although houses of worship outnumbered shootings at health care facilities, as did all other location categories, the media wants the public to believe that women seeking “health care” at abortion clinics are at great risk of “anti-abortion violence.” Yet, according to the document none of the shootings at what the FBI classified as a “health care facility” took place at an abortion or Planned Parenthood center as summarized below:

Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center
On March 29, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., Robert Kenneth Stewart, 45, armed with a handgun, a shotgun, and a rifle, began shooting in the Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage, North Carolina, where his estranged wife worked. He did not find her. Eight people were killed; three were wounded, including one police officer. The shooter was apprehended after being wounded during an exchange of gunfire with police.

Parkwest Medical Center
On April 19, 2010, at 4:30 p.m., Abdo Ibssa, 38, armed with a handgun, began shooting in the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He had been distressed over the out-come of his recent surgery and was trying to find his doctor, who he believed had implanted a microchip in him. When he was unable to find the doctor, he moved to the emergency room and began shooting. One person was killed; two were wounded. The shooter committed suicide before police arrived.

St. Vincent’s Hospital
On December 15, 2012, at 4:00 a.m., Jason Heath Letts, 38, armed with a handgun, began shooting in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. No one was killed; three were wounded, including one police officer. The shooter was killed by police.

Renown Regional Medical Center
On December 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., Alan Oliver Frazier, 51, armed with a shotgun and two handguns, began shooting in the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. One person was killed; two were wounded. The shooter committed suicide at the scene after police arrived.

While it is true that the Colorado Springs shooting tragically had a large number of victims, it is also true that the media fails to report shootings at other medical facilities with the same emphasis as they did the Planned Parenthood incident. An interesting look at this comparison is detailed at the blog Saynsumthn here.

The 4 shooting incidents at health care facilities outlined above resulted in 10 killed and 10 wounded (including 2 law enforcement officers). The 6 incidents in houses of worship resulted in 21 people killed and 27 wounded (including 1 law enforcement officer), according to the FBI study. One of those incidents involved late term abortionist George Tiller.

I will not #ShoutYourAbortion says pro-life woman who had abortions

Posted in post-abortion with tags , , , , , on September 27, 2015 by saynsumthn

The abortion lobby is relentlessly trying to put a happy face on the killing of children in the womb, this time using the hashtag #ShoutyourAbortion. While the public persona of abortion on demand is empowerment and relief, many women who have experienced abortion often express regret.

Michele Herzog 2

Such was the case of one pro-life blogger who refuses to “shout her abortions.”

Michele Herzog has penned a heart warming blog in response to the #ShoutYourAbortion message, she begins:

“I’ve noticed a trend making it’s way viral, and that is the hashtag #shoutyourabortion, Well, let me get something straight, I WILL NOT SHOUT FOR THE ABORTIONS I TOOK PART IN!!!!!”

Herzog gives credit to the Lord for rescuing her from the pit she said she made for herself when she took part in the killing of her own children.

What I will shout about is how I was not a victim, that this very act was sinful, selfish, and an act of murder. Because of my utter rebellion and entering into a sinful lifestyle, little children lost their lives.

And what I will never stop doing is praising my wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ, for picking me up out of a deep pit of hell for the bloodshed I took part in.

Michele Herzig rescued

Herzog, who has experienced multiple abortions, was outside a Florida abortion clinic offering hope to women when Live Action News caught up with her to ask what motivated her to write her piece.

“I got on Facebook and saw these things about shout your abortion and I was so horrified I just had to say something,” Herzog replied.

She told Live Action News that she regrets each abortion and cries over the missing seats at her dinner table each night. Herzog acknowledged the pain she feels daily but especially on mother’s day when she recognizes that there are more children in her life than the ones she sees on earth. She stated that she also regrets robbing her kids of their siblings.

“I will always be thankful that HIS kindness led me to repentance,
” Herzog said, “He washed me white as snow and I will never stop sharing HIM and HIS marvelous ways to a lost and dying world.

Herzog said that despite the jargon that abortion is a simple choice, each abortion affected her, “I didn’t want to live anymore, a piece of me died the first time I left an abortion center, but what’s worse are the little, innocent children that died a brutal death.”

Adding, “Women know that there is a child growing inside a womb, the after-effects of abortion are truly destroying and devastating our society.”

The pro-life activist said that after she became a Christian it still took two years to deal with the abortions. She called it her, “hidden secret” admitting that she was too ashamed and afraid to let anyone know.

Herzog explained that even though she was in pain, her pastor regularly preached a loving but truth message about the evils of abortion.

“Each time, I would sneak out the back of the church. But, what I did hear seeped into my heart, and each time God used it,
” she said.

Herzog encourages Pastors to not be afraid to speak the truth of abortion to their congregations. She said too often they fear the response from women who have had abortions. But, Herzog noted, the truth will set you free and post-abortive women can be set free if they go to the Lord and seek His help and forgiveness.

Herzog has helped save many babies outside abortion centers in her area where she reaches out to the women, sharing with them the heartache they will experience if they go through with their abortions. Today was no exception, reporting that a couple had just made the decision to leave the clinic and give life to their baby.

Herzog said that those pushing abortion are in denial but she has dedicated her life to shout only about what God did for her and to restore personhood back to the unborn human beings.

“I will press forward and keep my eyes on the prize of seeing an end to this holocaust of abortion,” she writes.

“I will settle for nothing less!”

Elderly “church goer” threatens pro-lifer outside pro-abortion Episcopal congregation

Earlier this month, a handful of pro-life protesters went in front of what they described as a “pro-abortion Episcopal congregation” in Alexandria, VA to expose what they called the denomination’s, “radical baby-killing complicity.”

Prolife at Episcopal church VA

“Were you aware that this denomination supports abortion on demand?” one protester asks of some church goers.

She replies, “Oh, I had an abortion. It was great! “

Showing graphic images of abortion victims, another church-goer asks, “You think this is evil?

And adds,”It’s a matter of opinion.”

Sometimes it has to happen church abortion

Asked if the pictures they are holding depict a human being, the church goer replied, “Well, sometimes it has to happen.”

Later an older church goer expresses his views, telling demonstrators, “No – No.”

Asked, “you shouldn’t care?

He again replies, “No.”

As he walked into the church building, a male pro-life demonstrator said to him, “Sir, you’re almost in the grave, shouldn’t you be worried about how God is going to be judging you on this?”

He quickly turned back and pointing his finger made this threat to the pro-life man, “Listen, Keep that talk up and an 88-year-old man is going to come and punch your mouth out. Shut-up!”

Sir I am just warning you what is going to happen!” the pro-lifer said back.

Shut-up! Shut-up! Go somewhere else,” the church goer replied.

To which the pro-life man said, “Some people are not as cold-hearted as you. That’s why we’re here.”

When it comes to Planned Parenthood’s ghoulish crimes, are we all guilty?

written by Carole Novielli.

I am sitting at my desk, taking a moment of reflection over the past week, what I have witnessed, listened to and read.

I am disturbed – even haunted and somehow – I am not surprised.

The news of Planned Parenthood’s grisly baby parts operation has been a daily source of news, social media posts, blogs, and videos. I have been caught up in it all…and now…I reflect.

Planned-Parenthood-sells-aborted-baby-body-parts-CMP-2-209x198

I think about what is happening in this nation. Of 42 years of legalized abortion on demand.

As I ponder what has taken place this last week, I am not shocked that babies are being chopped up and sold for parts as if an old car in a junkyard. Sadly I write this sentence.

I am not shocked because, every day, over 3000 beautifully formed, innocent babies are snuffed out in their mother’s wombs by abortion.

What shocks me more than hearing what groups like Planned Parenthood are doing with their remains, is the lack of concern for these tiny humans on a daily basis. Yes, this shocks me.

I have witnessed the gruesomeness of abortion up close. I am one of the few who has held their broken bodies, their dismembered and bloodied corpses barely cold from being tossed in a dumpster outside an abortion clinic.

I wrote about that day in detail here, it is forever entrenched in my mind. The smells, the images, the tears.

But, I am also a student of history, and we have repeated this tragically many times over.

Think back to WW11 and the Nazi experiments on the Jews. Think to today and the way that ISIS callously slaughters women and children and Christians by the hundreds.

What has happened to America?

Why do we refuse to speak out about such atrocities until we are consumed with the dead corpses around us?

I am disturbed. I am emotional. I hold back tears for what I see going on.

Is the harvesting of aborted baby body parts so horrific that we are now awakened to the pain and suffering of these tiny babies?

Really?

Are we not moved to tears by the mere ripping apart of their innocent arms, legs, and yes lungs and kidneys on a daily basis in an early suction abortion?

Can we not envision the horror of the abortionist’s knife grasping the limbs, torso, and head of the second trimester unborn child in a D+E abortion?

We have to ask the tough questions.

Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King once said:

“The time comes when silence is betrayal- that time has come for us….men do not easily assume the task of opposing the government’s policy….Some of us who have already begun to break the silence of the night have found that the calling to speak is often the vocation of agony, but, we must speak….

I ask you this: Who is more evil?

The abortionist who figured out a way to profit off every aspect of the bloody procedure or those of us on the sidelines who scold him/her for his business savvy but not for his murderous actions?

Let me clarify, I wholeheartedly condemn Planned Parenthood for their Mengele-like conduct, but I also refute them for the taking of that same human life just seconds earlier.

Have we become so accustomed to abortion that the real crime of it, the taking of a valuable human life, created in the image of God, is not the overall cause of our outrage?

In 1889 Gilbert Haven said it best when he described the reaction to slavery of his day.

In his National Sermons, Speeches, and Letters on Slavery and its war, Haven said:

We are so familiar with the word Slavery, that its real scope and character do not smite the eye with true horror. If this nation stood today, perfectly free from this iniquity, and could behold it approaching its shores, and demanding the sovereignty, we should rise up as one man against the hellish foe. …How horrible it’s sin, how horrible will be its punishment !”

In 1852, former Negro slave, Frederick Douglas described what should be our reaction to the abortion trade:

“At a time like this, scorching irony, not convincing argument, is needed. Oh! had I the ability, and could I reach the nation’s ear, I would today pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke. For it is not light that is needed, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake. The feeling of the nation must be quickened; the conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be denounced.”

I recently wrote a blog where I researched the Church’s reaction to Hitler as depicted in the newspapers.

Although it is by no means a comprehensive study, in the articles I found you read headlines noting the following:

    “anti-Jewish atrocities have been exaggerated.”

Hitler’s election brought about largely thru support of evangelical churchmen

Churches express readiness to corporate with Hitler’s government but demand right to preach

    Hitler controls German Churches

Song of Nazi School Children “we need no Christian virtue”

German theologian Eberhard Bethege once stated, “There comes a point when you can only say yes or no and in this case: NO !

That time has come for America!

But sadly, just as in Germany, people will rarely speak out.

Renate Bethge daughter of an executed Christian resister to Hitler’s Nazi regime and niece of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, once stated:

“When people know enough to know to learn more it will require some risk…then it is surprising how little people want to learn.”

Risk? Yes.

It is easy to be outraged today, when gruesome descriptions of sci-fi like body parts are strewn across the television screens.

But, where are those same people when a pregnant woman needs a home or a pro-life grandmother is accosted after standing alone in front of Planned Parenthood crying out for the babies they murder?

Sadly, when it comes to Planned Parenthood, I feel that history is once again revealing the state of America.

That can be seen in the words of Holocaust survivor Eva Kor whose most painful memories were placed into a story about her published in 2013:

Hitler was a terrorist who rose to power because good people said nothing, she said.

The key word here is terrorist. Terrorists have no respect for human life,” she said. “In Germany, not all Germans were Nazis. There were many good Germans — but nobody spoke up.”

I’d like to end by asking each one of us to examine our hearts.

Are we all guilty?

From the title of another blog I penned not to long ago, “Abortion just like the Nazi Holocaust is the “Sin of the Innocent Bystander.”

There are really no “innocent bystanders” – we all know the truth about abortion and the truth about Planned Parenthood. We are here today because we have remained silent and refused to act against this tyranny towards the least of these, unborn children.

Are we not all responsible for this ghoulish enterprise we now see visited upon us by Planned Parenthood for not proclaiming the value of each preborn human person?

The answer to that question is YES!

Now, what shall we do about it?

That answer can be found in the words of Authur Chochrane of Dubuque Theological Seminary, who spent two years in Germany (1935-1937), studying the Reformation Confessions, and became acquainted with the underground Church during the Nazi regime.

In that time he observed the reaction by those who ignored the plight of the Jews:

Those who stood strongest were first to confess their own guilt for not doing more,” he said.

We must do more!

So-called “Reverend” compares abortion to appendectomy or tonsillectomy calling it moral and honorable

Posted in Church pro-abortion, Religious Coalition of Reproductive Choice with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on July 9, 2015 by saynsumthn

A New York “Reverend” has called abortion “moral and honorable work” comparing killing babies in the womb to an appendectomy or tonsillectomy.

Cherry Hill Womens Center cert Rev Donna Schaper 485923493_n

The Cherry Hill Women’s Center abortion clinic kills unborn babies all the way up to 24 weeks.

But, that did not deter the Rev. Donna Schaper, senior minister of Judson Memorial Church in New York, NY from giving the New Jersey child killing center a certificate of appreciation which shockingly stated:

“In recognition and gratitude for your moral and honorable work as a defender of reproductive justice.”

Donna Schaper 0942684416393_n

It is insane to say that the wholesale slaughter of babies in the womb is in anyway moral or honorable.

The pro-abortion Rev. Schaper, once wrote that, “As Christians, as Baptists, we wearily say, the right to choose a medical procedure is also a woman’s right. It has to do fundamentally with the freedom of our souls to practice our religion and morality in our own ways.”

In a sermon posted online, Rev. Schaper describes how abortion is “moral” comparing child killing to an appendectomy or a tonsillectomy.

So when were talking about keeping a baby, we are not talking about a delivery. We are talking about the days and the weeks and the months and the years of that baby’s life,” she said.

The message is somewhat convoluted to those of us who are grounded in Biblical truth. Her ramblings of scripture, quotes from Robert Frost mingled with stories of a medical missionary and other stories confused me on her exact points.

Her emphasis was on the word “keeping” but her delivery as to what exactly she meant by that was unclear to me.

Rev Donna Schaper abortion_n

So once we understand what it means to keep a child, which is not just birthing a child, we become free to access the medical technology of abortion. Finally, it is nothing more or less than a medical technology, that’s all it is.”

And, you may or may not like this but it’s a lot like an appendectomy or a tonsillectomy. Forgive me, if that offends you in some way but it does not offend me. It is about a technology to keep or not to keep.

She then claims abortion is about protecting children.

“Lets just take the high ground which is taking care and keeping children
,” she stated, however confusing this sounds.

Radical pro-aborts to converge in Jackson MS. to support troubled abortion clinic

The radical pro-abortion group, Stop Patriarchy, which claims to be a revolutionary / communist organization is planning to converge in Jackson, Mississippi after causing havoc in several other cities this month.

Sunsara Taylor stop patriarchy unleach fury abortion

Their goal – to defend the last remaining abortion clinic in the state.

Despite their faux rhetoric that when abortion is illegal, women die, Stop Patriarchy is planning to support Diane Derzis who owns Jackson Women’s Health Organization abortion clinic despite her abysmal record of care.

NWAL Dangerous Filthy

Derzis’ Birmingham, Alabama abortion clinic was closed after a 76-page health deficiency report and several women were rushed out of her facility by ambulance due to her alleged “care.”

Stop Patriarchy has defended this abortion mill before, after all, when you are pro-abortion you really don’t care about life or the women entering these shoddy facilities.

The group has planned weekly activities throughout the summer which they detail on their Facebook page.

Stop Patriarchy July protest

Here is what they write about the Mississippi protest:

WEEKEND OF JULY 25-26: Die-in for Abortion Rights. Street theater with bloody pants, bloody coat hangers and the pictures of women who died from illegal abortion. Get out Abortion Rights Fact Sheets and calls to come to Jackson, Mississippi in August to fight for abortion rights at the last clinic in the state. Hold send-off dinners and events for volunteers traveling to the last abortion clinic in Mississippi.

    JULY 31 – AUGUST 9:
Join Stop Patriarchy in Jackson, Mississippi!
We will boldly take out the full mission of Stop Patriarchy throughout the city of Jackson, stirring and drawing new people into the fight against all forms of female enslavement. And we will join with organizers in the area to build support for the last abortion clinic in the state, the Jackson Women’s Health Organization, and to build support for Abortion On Demand and Without Apology!

Sadly, despite the fact that many women still die from legal abortion and abortion workers sexually abuse women inside legal abortion facilities, Stop Patriarchy has included abortion restrictions in their “War on Women” displays.

While there are some issues we would agree, such as the devastation porn has on women or speaking out against so-called “honor killings”, and rape, this radical group has also included “Church” and “anti-abortion” in their “war on women boots” display. A ridiculous claim since the majority of pro-lifers ARE women and many of them have denounced abortion as harmful to women.
