I’ve seen the result of legalized abortion, and it’s nothing to celebrate

aborted, abortion, reborn, abortionist

By now, most Live Action News readers have heard the tragic news that Ireland (with assistance from pro-choice forces in the United States) has voted to repeal the Eighth Amendment, which had, for decades, protected the right to life of preborn children. News reports on social media showed jubilant celebration from pro-abortion advocates just after the vote was tallied.

But any rejoicing over abortion is ill-advised. After all, it has never ended poverty or stopped child abuse, spousal abuse or rape. It has never ended economic disparity, racism, or sexism.

Instead, it has created an entire industry that cares little for assisting women with real solutions. The women and men of this industry sell their souls and become slaves to profit.

(Warning: Contains images of abortion victims.)

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar loftily speculated to the New York Times that women in Ireland will now endure “[n]o more stigma. The veil of secrecy is lifted. No more isolation. The burden of shame is gone.”

But if Varadkar is correct (and he isn’t), then Ireland will have accomplished in hours what 45 years of legalized abortion still hasn’t accomplished in the United States. Simply travel to a local abortion facility and you can observe first hand that women do not arrive smiling, nor do they exit dancing. Instead, what you will see is a number of raw emotions — from doubt to anger to confusion. Some women are in tears as they leave, and most do so with their heads held low. This is hardly a picture of a shameless or guiltless movement.

Today, decades after the U.S. Supreme Court ushered in the infamous Roe v. Wade decision, despite the futile efforts of the pro-choice lobby to promise that women who seek this so-called “medical procedure” will feel liberated, testimony from women who have chosen abortion says just the opposite. As is the case when abortion is legalized, new found “liberation” eventually gives way to the realization that abortion truly is as horrific as pro-lifers have always claimed. When the “veil of secrecy” is lifted, it reveals an incredible evil.

I learned this first hand in the 1990’s when I found aborted children who had been illegally discarded in the trash. I held the broken bodies of these precious children, and what I felt in that moment was far from a liberating feeling. What I witnessed was violent, bloody, and gruesome — and not just for the unborn children. Over the years, I helped to document how countless women left these so-called safe and legal abortion facilities in ambulances, and others who died later, and at least one who bled to death in her car on her way home.

The fallout became even more of a reality for me when I attended the funeral of Carolina Guttierez, who suffered a serious infection as a result of her abortion, leading doctors to amputate parts of her body in an attempt to save her life. Sadly, the infection won, and Carolina, as well as her preborn child, became statistics and calculated “complication risks” in the abortion battle.

Women who embrace this so-called “right” may unfortunately find themselves in Carolina’s situation, or perhaps that of Cree-Erwin Shepherd, who also died after her legal abortion, which she sought at a Planned Parenthood in recent years. In the video below, Cree’s brother describes what took place:

Today, the names of these deceased women have been conveniently forgotten by the U.S. pro-choice lobby, who consistently ignore the fact that legalizing abortion does not necessarily make it safe. Some women dancing in the streets of Ireland this week could, along with some women in the U.S., become the next victims of abortion, sacrificed along with their children on the altar of “choice.”

Once the floodgates of abortion are opened — in any country — it leaves in its wake nothing but heartache and tears, because it does not solve a woman’s problems; it adds to them.

Did Planned Parenthood appoint Black leaders to quell suspicion of Black genocide?

Planned Parenthood, Black genocide

Despite the fact that Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger promoted eugenics, it was actually under another eugenicist leader, Alan F. Guttmacher, that Planned Parenthood began referring for and eventually committing abortions. At the exact same time that abortion was being pushed publicly, the organization elected a Black chairman to roll out this agenda. All of this transpired in the late 1960s, a time when America was in conflict over the struggle for the civil rights of Black Americans.

During this time frame, many of the organization’s leaders were concerned about overpopulation. The organization’s history is steeped in eugenics, and this ideology manifested itself in many ways, including the forced sterilization of many Black citizens. As laws about these eugenics courts began to be challenged, a new tool of eugenics was making its way across the land: abortion.

Even though many within Planned Parenthood’s organization and other population control groups thought coercion would be needed to stem the growth of people groups they deemed “unfit,” Guttmacher, by now a Planned Parenthood president, was able to convince his friends that abortion, at first in perhaps a voluntary way, would be a better solution. However, there was a slight problem, because Black citizens and other minority groups were already suspicious of birth control efforts aimed at them. How would they feel about abortion?

Image: article Blacks Charge Black Genocide from Planned Parenthood

The solution for Planned Parenthood was to bring Black leaders to the organization’s board, in an effort to convince Black Americans that Planned Parenthood’s efforts were not genocidal. This strategy was not a new one; Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger — who gave a talk for the Ku Klux Klan — had already implemented the so-called “Negro Project” to accomplish the exact same thing. Memos between Planned Parenthood staffers and leadership indicated a great concern over how the Black community viewed their efforts. In response, Planned Parenthood’s public relations machine also reached out to Black publications, as they had already done with push for birth control.

In 1967,  the Pittsburgh Branch of the NAACP had criticized the swarming of Planned Parenthood facilities into minority neighborhoods. Other leaders like H. Rap Brown and Fannie Lou Hamer had called abortion “Black genocide.” And, as late as 1973, a study published by the American Journal of Public Health,”Fears of Genocide Among Black Americans as Related to Age, Sex, and Region,” found that Black men and women had a level of unease about “family planning.” Researchers Castellano Turner, Ph.D., and William A. Darity, Ph.D., concluded that Blacks were more suspicious when “family planning” was under the control of Whites. “It is noteworthy that the greatest degree of agreement is found where the issue of black control of family planning (as against white control) is at issue,” they said.

After dialoguing internally about the unease of the Black community, the suggestion was made to add Black members to Planned Parenthood’s board; this took place at the same time that Planned Parenthood was calling for the decriminalization of abortion. According to a New York Times article from November 14, 1968, the first time that Planned Parenthood went on record calling for abortion, they also elected their very first Black board chairman to roll out the new agenda — Dr. Jerome H. Holland, who, according to media reports, “pledged his support for the group’s program saying that those who call birth control a form of genocide are ‘not aware of the real meaning of family planning and its uses.’”

Planned Parenthood names first Black Chairman to push abortion – First Black Chairman of Board elected by Planned Parenthood 1968

Holland was no stranger to Planned Parenthood. He had been on the general board of directors for some time, serving on the executive committee of Planned Parenthood-World Population by 1963. He served as vice-chairman in 1967, where he presented Planned Parenthood’s infamous Margaret Sanger award to John D. Rockefeller III, also a population control advocate.

Holland was also added as chairman of the Board of Guttmacher’s newly formed Center for Family Planning, which would later be named the Guttmacher Institute and become a “special affiliate” to Planned Parenthood.

But Holland’s post as chairman of the board of Planned Parenthood was short lived.

In 1970, Holland was named ambassador to Sweden by President Richard Nixon; however, the headlines of the first Black chairman of Planned Parenthood had seemingly done their job. Holland was openly endorsing abortion as a “health matter” between the woman and her doctor.

Black chairman Jerome Holland lauds Planned Parenthood eugenics

The same year Planned Parenthood elected its first Black chairman of the board, Frederick Osborn, a founding Eugenics Society officer connected to Planned Parenthood, wrote, “Eugenic goals are most likely to be attained under a name other than eugenics.” Osborn signed Margaret Sanger’s “Citizens Committee for Planned Parenthood,” published in her review in April of 1938. Some speculate that Planned Parenthood’s infamous slogan “Every Child a Wanted Child” may have originated with Osborn.

A few years later, a new Black leader would emerge to reinforce the push for abortion within Planned Parenthood: Faye Wattleton.

After 62 years as an organization, why did Planned Parenthood wait until 1978 to elect the very first Black female as president? Like Holland,  Wattleton was not a novice where abortion was concerned. She had been with Planned Parenthood for a while, serving as a volunteer in the early 1970s and eventually serving as director of the Dayton affiliate.

Article about Faye Wattleton elected to PPFA

Faye Wattleton elected first Black Planned Parenthood president

At a press conference held in February of 1978, then president-elect of Planned Parenthood Wattleton told the media that she was “putting the world on notice” that the organization was going to be much more aggressive on abortion rights. “What has happened is that we have allowed them [right-to-lifers] to have center stage,” Wattelton said, “I’d like to say those days are over.”

Wattleton then vowed to restore — “to the poor” — access of abortion under Medicaid.

Wattleton was asked if her leadership of Planned Parenthood as a Black woman would alleviate suspicions within the Black community linking abortion and her organization to Black genocide. Wattleton responded, “I don’t think a lot of people are yelling genocide anymore, because I’m Black. I’m in a watchdog position on these issues and no one should assume I’ve been co-opted. What better way is there to guard against those types of abuses?”

Wattleton then said that the Black community should be more concerned about quality of life than “increasing our numbers.”

Image: Faye Wattleton

Faye Wattleton first Black president Planned Parenthood

Wattleton served as president of the abortion corporation for 14 years, where, among other radical abortion advances, she helped to legalize the sale of the RU-486 abortion pill in the United States. Under Wattleton’s leadership, Planned Parenthood’s budget grew from $90 million in 1978 to $384 million in 1990. For her service and dedication to the eugenics-minded organization, in 1992, Wattleton received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award. Despite Sanger’s known eugenics and Klan connections, Wattleton once referred to her as “[t]he great heroine of our time,” telling Hubbard News in 1979 that Sanger would be proud of Planned Parenthood’s progress.

But the idea that Blacks would no longer be targeted for eugenics because a Black woman was at the helm of a eugenics organization was short-lived. During Wattleton’s tenure at Planned Parenthood, she stated that supporters of Planned Parenthood contributed to the abortion giant to “keep the Black population down.” On CNN, in a debate with Bob Dornan, an outspoken pro-life member of the US House of Representatives, at that time, Wattleton, admitted, “As a matter of fact… we have received contributions from people who want to support us because they want all welfare mothers and all Black women to stop having children.”

And also clipped in the documentary film, Maafa21, below:

Wattleton went on to help form the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, she has been described by some in the media as “a pioneer, a crusader, a media star and a rebel of sorts.”

Today, many within the Black community still see abortion as a tool of eugenics, and the abortion statistics show that it has become a leading cause of death of Blacks in the nation. Margaret Sanger’s vision of limiting births among certain races may not have begun with abortion, but it appears to have led to abortion.

Tragically, today, as a result of Guttmacher continuing Sanger’s eugenics agenda by introducing abortion to Planned Parenthood, over 800 preborn children of all races die there every day from abortion.

History repeats itself in “Backing Planned Parenthood”

Oxford Scholarship Online describes a chapter in Robert Gellately’s book, Backing Hitler entitled, Concentration Camps in Public Spaces, this way:

Backing Hitler9780198205609

This chapter discusses how concentration camps became firmly established in the public mind. As the war dragged on, the camp world invaded everyday life as never before, and confronted citizens with the cruellest sides of the dictatorship. Camp prisoners and slave workers appeared in public spaces all over Germany, from factories to city streets, and became impossible to overlook. By and large, Germans regarded the prisoners in their telltale camp garb and often in wooden shoes in terms they had come to accept from pre-war propaganda. Although there are stories from survivors of the help and comfort they received, the overwhelming impression is that Germans were at best indifferent and fearful, and at worst they shared the guards’ scorn, hostility, and hatred.

This, my friends describes modern day America.

Abortion death chambers have so invaded every aspect of American society that we drive by their butcher mills with barely a wince of horror.

Planned Parenthood brags to having hundreds of centers across the United States and openly reports performing hundreds of thousands of abortions annually and yet, our government rewards them with half a billion dollars in federal tax monies each year.

Writing in The Guardian, John Ezard’s review of Backing Hitler reads this way in part:

They knew concentration camps were full of Jewish people who were stigmatized as sub-human and race-defilers. They knew that these, like other groups and minorities, were being killed out of hand.

They knew that Adolf Hitler had repeatedly forecast the extermination of every Jew on German soil. They knew these details because they had read about them. They knew because the camps and the measures which led up to them had been prominently and proudly reported step by step in thousands of officially-inspired German media articles and posters…

They knew…

They – the German people knew and today America knows.

They know.

Ezard’s review of the book continues, “Professor Gellately says, destroy the claim – generally made by Germans after Berlin fell in 1945 and accepted by most historians – that they did not know about camp atrocities. He concludes by indicating that the only thing many Germans may not have known about was the use of industrial-scale gas chambers because, unusually, no media reports were allowed of this “final solution”. However, by the end of the war camps were all over the country and many Germans worked in them.”

Anyone else see a parallel here?

Alter process intact fetal cadavers Planned Parenthood

Tonight is the eve of video #5 exposing Planned Parenthood’s baby parts harvesting scheme.

We’ve just past the “can it get any worse” threshold and then- it did!

Not because Planned Parenthood was behaving any less the killers they are, but, because, as horrific as these videos are, people are still denying they are doing anything wrong.

Yesterday 46 US Senators voted that Planned Parenthood should continue to be funded – WHAT?

Yeah, my sentiments exactly.

Worse yet, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and many other “notables” remain committed to their support of the abortion behemoth.

Writer David Neese summarizes the prevailing attitude among those who deny the evil of abortion and Planned Parenthood, writing, “ That baby-like object in the sonogram must at all costs never be acknowledged as a baby. Nor even as an unborn baby. Planned Parenthood partisans must dig in and hold the line: That human-looking fetus isn’t really human. It’s “uterine contents.” Nothing more.

“Planned Parenthood asks: “Who you gonna believe? Us or your own eyes?”

If the subject were not so serious, I would describe Neese as almost poetic when he added:

Those who insist on believing their own eyes can’t be disproved. So they must be discredited. They’re religious fanatics. Extremists. They’re misogynistic male militants from the old patriarchy waging a last-ditch war on women.

Euphemisms are essential to the Planned Parenthood abortion enterprise.

They’re the lubricant that keeps the gear works from locking up. Thus the grisly extirpation of a fetus is merely a “procedure.” Planned Parenthood doctors may talk during a business lunch of avoiding “crunchy” extraction maneuvers to maximize a useable research specimen for a buyer. But there’ll be no such descriptive chitchat with the prospective abortion customers.

    planned-parenthood-video-crush-b

No point in making the customer wince. Avoid any mention of crushing a fetus’ head. Instead, say: “intrauterine cranial decompression.” In fact, avoid any mention of familiar body parts. Such reference may anthropomorphize the fetus. Don’t want that. Stick to clinical terms. Don’t say “head.” Say: “calvarium.”

And then there is the public.

Many are shocked at the callous conversations Planned Parenthood is having haggling over selling human baby organs while enjoying a meal or relaxing inside a conference room.

Savita Ginde Planned Parenthood brain

They are stunned that babies referred to as “intact fetal cadavers” are being kept frozen inside Planned Parenthood freezers until path lab ghouls can rummage their bodies to strain out every ounce of possible profit from the innocent child.

But, as I asked in a previous Op-Ed, exactly what did America think abortion was?

Didn’t they know?

Yes, they, like the Germans, knew.

The public knew this is abortion – they had to.

For over 42 years, we have told them, showed them, stood on street corners to cry out to them. Did they hear us?

Ralph Rudquist was a radio man with company LL of the 22nd Infantry in 1945 when he helped to liberate the German camp Dachau.

We were taken a back,” he told The Evening Independent in 1981.

The people who came in after us didn’t have as much experience, and they were bawling and crying.

Rudquist continued, “When we entered Dachau the crematories were still operating. I saw piles of bodies as high as this ceiling. So they kept the crematories going. They kept this going day and night. The bodies that they were cremating were just skin and bones.”

Adding, “It was certainly true. Some people say there was no Holocaust. They were wrong,” he said.

That is what we see today from the American public.

Rudquist Nazi Holocaust

Those of us on the front lines know – we see it daily. The precious unborn babies are embedded into our very hearts.

But, now, the American public is filing past their dead bodies.

Seeing the arms, legs, skulls, laid out in petri dishes inside the American death camps of Planned Parenthood.

Private Francis Arzt of the 59th Evacuation Hospital who also arrived in Dachau, took pictures of the Nazi victims, “They can’t say this was a made-up Hollywood production,” he said.

Ironically, that is exactly what some Planned Parenthood supporters are calling Center for Medical Progress videos today, accusing them of being “highly edited” despite full versions being posted for all to watch.

Yeah – where have we heard that before?

Holocaust survivor, Helen Lukensberg survived a Nazi camp in Poland,”People say there was no Holocaust,” she told the paper.

“It isn’t true. Where is all my family? Where is everybody?” she asked.

Rudquist recalls when he first saw Hitler’s concentration camp victims, “Suddenly we all understood what we had been fighting for,” he said.

I think the (CMP) videos we have watched, especially the last few, which brought us up front deep into Planned Parenthood’s dissection rooms, have done that for all of us.

Yes, suddenly we all understand what we are fighting for!

“Feeling overwhelmed” those words were written on my Facebook status today.

Today was the 4th time the Center for Medical Progress released a horrifying under cover video exposing Planned Parenthood’s gruesome baby parts operation.

I watched the 11 minute video and on some level it was not a surprise.

On another level I was angered by the repeated way Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains’ Vice President and Medical Director, Dr. Savita Ginde described the babies before they are even dead as “specimens.”

Davita Ginde Planned Parenthood brain

I do not want to camp on the Mengele-like experiments that Planned Parenthood is doing in this post, plenty of others are doing that.

I want to focus on the baby – the human person- the infant whose body parts are more valuable to Planned Parenthood and their partner Stem Express than the whole intact, live child.

Aborted baby foot

As I have mentioned before, I have found and buried aborted babies. This video again struck my memory over that experience. I’ve been told that in some way, I was dealing with PTSD, similar to the way a first responder or a soldier might experience it when they see something so traumatic that the human mind wants to shut it out. I actually wrote a blog post on that very thing entitled: Pro-lifers: the forgotten first responders, which you can read here.

Holocaust SUrvivor

In 1945 Dallas Peyton, who was a member of the 70th Armored Infantry which helped liberate Jews inside the Nazi Dachau camp encountered survivors and evidence of atrocities had a similar experience and spoke about it in 2004:

“Most of the things I saw were so horrible that they’ve been blocked mentally, I guess from self-preservation or something, that I don’t remember the details very much,” he said.

“I remember a couple of scenes very vivid. One, when we were approaching, we saw a trainload of prisoners. Turned out they were not prisoners. It was a trainload of bodies that had been sent to Dachau from Buchenwald, I presume to be, to go through the furnaces, ovens, of Dachau. That’s a presumption. The other scene was in the camp grounds. I saw two of these living walking skeletons shuffling along toward each other. They got within a few yards of each other, stopped, stared at each other, and then they tried to run, and embraced. They were either related or very close friends, and until that moment neither knew the other was still alive. And yet they’d been in that same prison for who knows how long. Those two scenes I remember very vivid, but a lot of the others I don’t.”

As I reflect over the past few weeks I have begun to sense a frustration among my fellow pro-life friends, that in light of these Planned Parenthood videos, the reality of the defenseless unborn child in the womb is not being conveyed strongly enough. This is by no means the fault of the pro-life group releasing the videos, in fact, they are to be commended.

It is simple human nature that when you see your opponent on the defensive, exposed and vulnerable, that you would focus on that for a while. And, it is important to remember that these videos could lead to a criminal investigation and possible defunding of the abortion clinic chain.

IMG_2916

But, regardless of the result, we are the only voice for the unborn child.

We MUST advocate for them.

In the words of Albert Einstein, The world is too dangerous to live in not because of the people who do evil- but because of the people who sit and let it happen.”

I recently visited the Holocaust Museum in Dallas, Texas.

On their website they state that: “Here we make UpStanders.”

The definition of an Upstander is shown below and reads, “A Person who stands up not a person who stands by.”

UpSTander

What the Nazis did in Germany was legal at that time.

“And it was a crime. A crime against humanity. Oh, you don’t forget this
,” the Holocaust Museum narrator continues.

A child heard in the promotional video says that before she went to the museum she had no idea that 1.5 million children had been murdered by the Nazis.

“We did not know. We were not there. You were there and you do know,” the child’s voice continues.

“I learned to stand up even when no one else is, because I learned that one person can make a difference,” a 9th grade museum visitor wrote.

You have opened my eyes,” wrote another student.

Ginde stomach heart kidney

Today, America is saying the same thing.

We did not know.

I’m shocked!

You did not know?

What did you think happened inside an abortion or Planned Parenthood facility?

The sanitized word abortion is as much a clinical term to the baby as the word “specimen” is. It does not paint the reality of the situation that it is the merciless execution of a human baby for profit.

To me, the CMP videos play an important role, in that, they are opening up to the American people the true and gruesome image of what abortion really is.

In the past, we have seen the still photos of the abortion victims. But, this week we peered into the death chamber’s back room where the “abortion hyenas” pick through the broken and bloodied remains of innocent children to see how they can enhance their pocket book even further. And we see it in video. We hear the callous references.

It is very disturbing!

Planned Parenthood path lab aborted baby

For those who looked, Kudos, for many who won’t I get it. The images are horrible. For the ones who have no idea, it is probably because the media is, after 42 years of legalized abortion, censoring their images again.

But, this is not a car wreck. It is not a drive by where you slow down – look out your window to see as much as you can while a police officer waives you by, thinking “how tragic” as you drive off. This is a murder and you are an eye witness. Everyday that abortion happens in our nation, in your city, your neighborhood near your church, you are affected.

That baby is the victim – that child is innocent!

But- what are we?

Are we to walk by like nothing is happening? To turn on the TV – go to our churches, clubs, movies and shopping malls with no outrage? Sadly, that has been the reaction all too often.

Last month, I posted a video of an experiment called The Bystander Effect.

It was conducted as a result of the 1964 murder of a young woman by the name of “Kitty Genovese” who was stabbed to death outside her home in Queens, New York.

Kitty Genovese Bystander

Kitty’s neighbors heard her desperate screams for help, yet no one called the police until it was too late and Kitty was dead. The event shocked the city and the nation, and became the impetus for research on the psychological phenomenon that became known as the “Bystander Effect” by psychologists John Darley and Bibb Latané.

It’s not enough to feel outraged you have to also be outraged. You must be motivated to work legally to end the slaughter for so many are apathetic at best and out-right pro-abortion at worst.

Be an UPSTANDER!

Kelli over at Live Action News today showed the contrast between the reaction to unborn babies being sold for body parts and the recent tragic shooting of a 13-year-old Lion named Cecil.

“…while Jimmy Kimmel and the rest of the world grieve over the death of a single lion, they also turn a blind eye to the story of children senselessly slaughtered – and sold for parts – by Planned Parenthood. Some – like Kimmel’s ex-girlfriend, for instance – go beyond turning a blind eye, instead expressing support for making good use of those fetal organs. For science, you know,” Kelli wrote.

She continued, “But the truth is, what we don’t want to see, we won’t see. We will cover our eyes and yell “fake!” because dead children just hit too close to home, and we’re far too culpable.”

Dallas Holocaust Museum

During my trip to the Dallas Holocaust Museum, I was moved to tears by what I saw.

They displayed artifacts from Jews who were taken to various Nazi concentration camps where their Bodies were stripped of all humanity. The Nazi’s took their teeth, their clothes, possessions and anything they saw as “valuable” leaving only their naked bodies to be worked, beaten, starved and in most cases murdered.

In the museum there was a wall displaying news articles of that era and I was struck by the words I read.

Holocaust Action not pity

A petition published in the New York Times from May 1943 asked:

“when will the UN establish an agency to deal with the problem of Hitlers extermination of a whole people?”

Holocaust NYT articles (Image Credit)

A voice of Christendom petition published February 26, 1943 also caught my attention and read in part:

It is not enough to indict and name the murderers. It is time for America and the United Nations to act!

Every hour sees the murder of more thousands…

How well are you sleeping ? Is there something you could have done to save millions of innocent people-Men, women and children from torture and death?

Another image captures the true spirit in a powerful quote:

    It reads:

“Though it be to die we will fight. We will fight not for ourselves but for future generations. Although we will not survive to see it, our murderers will pay for their crimes after we are gone. Our deeds will live forever.”

In 2012, Holocaust Survivor Max Glauben received German records from his time in the concentration camp labeled “konzentrationslager.”

His arm still bears the tattoo KL.

As he glanced at the documents, he made a stunning observation, “For the whole duration, I thought I was a nobody. But evidently, some of us were somebody — because look at the records they kept,” he said.

One day history will say the same about these babies labeled as “products of conception” as their organs are deemed valuable enough to document and haggle over.

The Holocaust survivor once told a group of school children, “If you listen to a witness, you become a witness,” he said.

In recounting his life’s story, Glauben spoke about his life’s overall lesson.

As I near the end of this post, I ask that you ponder his words:

Always deliver your best work; never give up; and act as an “upstander,” not a “bystander,” if you witness evil in the world.

written by Carole Novielli.

I am sitting at my desk, taking a moment of reflection over the past week, what I have witnessed, listened to and read.

I am disturbed – even haunted and somehow – I am not surprised.

The news of Planned Parenthood’s grisly baby parts operation has been a daily source of news, social media posts, blogs, and videos. I have been caught up in it all…and now…I reflect.

Planned-Parenthood-sells-aborted-baby-body-parts-CMP-2-209x198

I think about what is happening in this nation. Of 42 years of legalized abortion on demand.

As I ponder what has taken place this last week, I am not shocked that babies are being chopped up and sold for parts as if an old car in a junkyard. Sadly I write this sentence.

I am not shocked because, every day, over 3000 beautifully formed, innocent babies are snuffed out in their mother’s wombs by abortion.

What shocks me more than hearing what groups like Planned Parenthood are doing with their remains, is the lack of concern for these tiny humans on a daily basis. Yes, this shocks me.

I have witnessed the gruesomeness of abortion up close. I am one of the few who has held their broken bodies, their dismembered and bloodied corpses barely cold from being tossed in a dumpster outside an abortion clinic.

I wrote about that day in detail here, it is forever entrenched in my mind. The smells, the images, the tears.

But, I am also a student of history, and we have repeated this tragically many times over.

Think back to WW11 and the Nazi experiments on the Jews. Think to today and the way that ISIS callously slaughters women and children and Christians by the hundreds.

What has happened to America?

Why do we refuse to speak out about such atrocities until we are consumed with the dead corpses around us?

I am disturbed. I am emotional. I hold back tears for what I see going on.

Is the harvesting of aborted baby body parts so horrific that we are now awakened to the pain and suffering of these tiny babies?

Really?

Are we not moved to tears by the mere ripping apart of their innocent arms, legs, and yes lungs and kidneys on a daily basis in an early suction abortion?

Can we not envision the horror of the abortionist’s knife grasping the limbs, torso, and head of the second trimester unborn child in a D+E abortion?

We have to ask the tough questions.

Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King once said:

“The time comes when silence is betrayal- that time has come for us….men do not easily assume the task of opposing the government’s policy….Some of us who have already begun to break the silence of the night have found that the calling to speak is often the vocation of agony, but, we must speak….

I ask you this: Who is more evil?

The abortionist who figured out a way to profit off every aspect of the bloody procedure or those of us on the sidelines who scold him/her for his business savvy but not for his murderous actions?

Let me clarify, I wholeheartedly condemn Planned Parenthood for their Mengele-like conduct, but I also refute them for the taking of that same human life just seconds earlier.

Have we become so accustomed to abortion that the real crime of it, the taking of a valuable human life, created in the image of God, is not the overall cause of our outrage?

In 1889 Gilbert Haven said it best when he described the reaction to slavery of his day.

In his National Sermons, Speeches, and Letters on Slavery and its war, Haven said:

We are so familiar with the word Slavery, that its real scope and character do not smite the eye with true horror. If this nation stood today, perfectly free from this iniquity, and could behold it approaching its shores, and demanding the sovereignty, we should rise up as one man against the hellish foe. …How horrible it’s sin, how horrible will be its punishment !”

In 1852, former Negro slave, Frederick Douglas described what should be our reaction to the abortion trade:

“At a time like this, scorching irony, not convincing argument, is needed. Oh! had I the ability, and could I reach the nation’s ear, I would today pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke. For it is not light that is needed, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake. The feeling of the nation must be quickened; the conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be denounced.”

I recently wrote a blog where I researched the Church’s reaction to Hitler as depicted in the newspapers.

Although it is by no means a comprehensive study, in the articles I found you read headlines noting the following:

    “anti-Jewish atrocities have been exaggerated.”

Hitler’s election brought about largely thru support of evangelical churchmen

Churches express readiness to corporate with Hitler’s government but demand right to preach

    Hitler controls German Churches

Song of Nazi School Children “we need no Christian virtue”

German theologian Eberhard Bethege once stated, “There comes a point when you can only say yes or no and in this case: NO !

That time has come for America!

But sadly, just as in Germany, people will rarely speak out.

Renate Bethge daughter of an executed Christian resister to Hitler’s Nazi regime and niece of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, once stated:

“When people know enough to know to learn more it will require some risk…then it is surprising how little people want to learn.”

Risk? Yes.

It is easy to be outraged today, when gruesome descriptions of sci-fi like body parts are strewn across the television screens.

But, where are those same people when a pregnant woman needs a home or a pro-life grandmother is accosted after standing alone in front of Planned Parenthood crying out for the babies they murder?

Sadly, when it comes to Planned Parenthood, I feel that history is once again revealing the state of America.

That can be seen in the words of Holocaust survivor Eva Kor whose most painful memories were placed into a story about her published in 2013:

Hitler was a terrorist who rose to power because good people said nothing, she said.

The key word here is terrorist. Terrorists have no respect for human life,” she said. “In Germany, not all Germans were Nazis. There were many good Germans — but nobody spoke up.”

I’d like to end by asking each one of us to examine our hearts.

Are we all guilty?

From the title of another blog I penned not to long ago, “Abortion just like the Nazi Holocaust is the “Sin of the Innocent Bystander.”

There are really no “innocent bystanders” – we all know the truth about abortion and the truth about Planned Parenthood. We are here today because we have remained silent and refused to act against this tyranny towards the least of these, unborn children.

Are we not all responsible for this ghoulish enterprise we now see visited upon us by Planned Parenthood for not proclaiming the value of each preborn human person?

The answer to that question is YES!

Now, what shall we do about it?

That answer can be found in the words of Authur Chochrane of Dubuque Theological Seminary, who spent two years in Germany (1935-1937), studying the Reformation Confessions, and became acquainted with the underground Church during the Nazi regime.

In that time he observed the reaction by those who ignored the plight of the Jews:

Those who stood strongest were first to confess their own guilt for not doing more,” he said.

We must do more!

Make them your own, a speech to Pro-life Waco

Posted in Pro-life Waco with tags , , , , , on March 10, 2015 by saynsumthn

I had the honor and privilege to speak to members of the group Pro-life Waco this weekend. Their dedication to the battle to end abortion is inspiring. The group is led by John Pisciotta.

John, who recently created the Facebook page, Hometown Pro-life Action, has organized what he calls “Second Sundays” where he gathers with those interested in fighting abortion and other culture issues in their community. The group consists of several denominations and they invite a speaker every month before addressing local events and issues.

Nobodys Fool Planned Parenthood

Pro-life Waco has gained a reputation for demonstrating against Planned Parenthood and in particular their Nobody’s Fool event. Planned Parenthood in Waco regarded Nobody’s Fool as its hallmark achievement. For two decades pro-lifers worked to shine the light on Nobody’s Fool. Pro-Life Waco created a website www.plannedpromiscuity.com, to expose the reality of Planned Parenthood’s sex education.

As a result of the group’s regular presence outside Planned Parenthood’s abortion clinic, John told me that the local center has now closed.

In addition, the group has organized a CookieCott against the Girl Scouts funding of Planned Parenthood.

Billboards

The group regularly places educational Billboards in the Waco area and they take out ads in their local paper to challenge others about the holocaust of abortion.

The group has recently been protesting area Target Stores for their promoting of the pornographic 50 Shades of Grey message. Saynsumthn has blogged the first 50 Shades Target protest here. Other successful protests have taken place and in some cases the store pulled the merchandise on the mere suggestion that the group would be protesting outside.

I enjoyed meeting and speaking with John and members of his Pro-life Waco group. They are sweet, dedicated, and they put on a wonderful lunch which features John’s Grandmother’s secret recipe spaghetti sauce.

My speech was called, “Make them your own”

If you want to listen to the speech you can listen here.

I mentioned in my speech about finding aborted babies, you can read about that here and view images of the memorial service as well as the aborted children.

Below are the quotes I referenced in the speech:

In his, National Sermons , Speeches, and Letters on Slavery and its war by Gilbert Haven 1869: A sermon entitled, The National Midnight, preached at Westfield, Mass., November 16,1856, Gilbert Haven said this “We are so familiar with the word Slavery, that its real scope and character do not smite the eye with true horror. If this nation stood today, perfectly free from this iniquity, and could behold it approaching its shores, and demanding the sovereignty, we should rise up as one man against the hellish foe…How horrible it’s sin, how horrible will be its punishment !”

In an article published in the Sydney Morning Herald on why Hitler failed, from 1949, Pastor Martin Niemoeller, German Pastor and concentration camp prisoner, said. Hitler “succeeded all to well in becoming lord and master in Germany and everyone shrank back in fear until he came to the Christian Church. That organization had to be brought under his control like all other organizations, but suddenly he began to feel a resistance which was a riddle to him. This resistance sprang from the fact that Christ is by no means a myth, from bygone days but the Lord of the Church who was raised from the dead and is the living Lord and Master. Whose Lordship is not only proclaimed but is exercised.” Hitler gave the order “Thou Shalt Kill” but the people heard the churches order “Thou shalt not kill.

Biographer John Godsey of Wesley Seminary in Washington DC said this of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, “He saw it was the duty of the church not just to bind the wounds of those hit by a madman, but to put a stick in the spokes of his wheel and stop the driver.”

William Wilburforce, A Practical View, published in 1797, “Accustom yourself to look first to the dreadful consequences of failure; then fix your eye on the glorious prize which is before you; and when your strength begins to fail, and your spirits are will nigh exhausted, let the animating view rekindle your resolution, and call forth in renewed vigour the fainting energies of your soul.”

In 1942 Hans Scholl, a medical student at the University of Munich, his sister Sophie, and other brave young people founded the “White Rose” movement, one of the few German groups that spoke out against Nazi genocidal policies… “We will not be silent,” they wrote to their fellow students. “We are your bad conscience. The White Rose will not leave you in peace!”

Sophie School once said, “The real damage is done by those millions who want to ‘survive.’ The honest men who just want to be left in peace. Those who don’t want their little lives disturbed by anything bigger than themselves. Those with no sides and no causes. Those who won’t take measure of their own strength, for fear of antagonizing their own weakness. Those who don’t like to make waves—or enemies. Those for whom freedom, honour, truth, and principles are only literature.”

A Memorial to the German Resistance now reads:
You did not bear the shame.
You resisted.
You bestowed an eternally vigilant symbol of change
by sacrificing your impassioned lives for freedom, justice and honor.

Sex perv gives teen money for abortion pill Plan B after sexting

Posted in child predator with tags , , , , , , , on September 17, 2014 by saynsumthn

A 51-year-old Pennsylvania High School history teacher and drama coach who sent inappropriate text messages to a teen also gave her money to purchase an abortion drug.

Michael H Chase

According to the Times Tribune, Michael H. Chase is expected to be arraigned before Magisterial District Judge John Hovan Thursday morning facing three counts of corruption of minors.

Mr. Chase is accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a teen-aged girl starting when she was 14 in 2012 to this past June, according to Wyoming County Chief Detective David Ide.

WNEP reports that according to court papers, Michael Chase started sending text messages to the female student when she was a freshman back in 2012.

Their communication continued until the end of her junior year. That’s when the girl told other teachers at Tunkhannock Area what was going on.

In a statement to detectives, the girl said Chase often talked about sex and drug use with her and other students. He provided the victim with money to purchase a phone card, according to police, “so her parents wouldn’t be aware of such contact.”

Police also say Mr. Chase provided the teen with money for the purchase of the morning-after abortion pill.

Mr. Chase directed the teen, as well as other female students, to a blog — since taken down — on a social media site, Tumblr, that directed visitors to “disturbing pornographic pictures with women in bondage,” police said.

The Wyoming County District Attorney told Newswatch 16 Chase is suspended from his job at Tunkhannock Area High School.

Recently, Life Dynamics, a national pro-life organization located in Texas, published a report of criminal cases where child sexual rapists were going to family planning, Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics and the medical offices had failed to report abuse.

This new report, entitled, “The Cover-Up of Child Sexual Abuse”, shows clearly that the failure of abortion clinics to comply with mandatory reporting laws is having profound, real-world consequences for the victims of child sexual abuse.

Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics Inc. explains, “In almost every case of adult men having sex with minor girls, the perpetrators are aware that the relationship is illegal and could land them in prison. They also know that one of the most likely ways for them to get caught is for their victims to become pregnant. When that happens, their back up plan is inevitably going to involve abortion. As a result, there is no place within the medical community where underage victims of sexual abuse are more likely to be found than at abortion clinics. The question is: how are these girls dealt with when they show up at those clinics?

According to Life Dynamics, in all 50 states, there are statutes that require adults, including healthcare workers, to report reasonable suspicions of child sexual abuse to a law enforcement or child protection services agency. In addition, when an underage girl seeks an abortion, a pregnancy test, contraceptive drugs or devices, or treatment for a sexually transmitted disease, that is evidence of sexual intercourse involving a girl who cannot legally consent to sexual intercourse.

Crutcher continues, “It is important to understand that mandatory reporters are neither obligated nor authorized to investigate these incidents. Whatever conclusions they might reach about the legality or illegality of a child’s sexual activity has no bearing on their obligations as mandatory reporters. If they are presented with evidence of sexual activity by a patient who, by reason of her age, cannot legally consent to sexual activity, their only duty is to report to the authorities. The responsibility for determining whether a criminal act has or has not occurred belongs only to the state.”

“An analogy to this is a situation in which a man is brought into a hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound,” Crutcher explains, “ In virtually every jurisdiction in the United States, any healthcare worker treating him is legally required to report the incident to authorities – despite the fact that a criminal act may or may not have caused the injury. The man might have accidentally shot himself while cleaning his gun or he might have been shot while robbing a convenience store. But the medical staff has neither the responsibility nor the authority to make that determination. The nature of the care they are rendering is evidence of criminal activity and their only duty is to report.”

In their previous investigation, Life Dynamics documented that abortion clinics associated with both Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation are, with very few exceptions, completely ignoring the mandatory reporting statutes. (Listen to actual audio tapes of the calls here)

This new report, “The Cover-Up of Child Sexual Abuse” part two, contains actual cases of criminal prosecutions against men who have been caught having illegal sexual relationships with minor girls.

CP Report Screen Grab

In each case, the victims were taken for abortions with no report being made by the abortion providers.

Calling their report the “tip of the iceberg”, Crutcher points out that the cases they document are a representative sample of the total number of criminal prosecutions the group found. He also explained that in the cases they highlighted, the sexual abuse against these children continued, sometimes for years, after they were brought before abortion clinic workers.

Among experts who study this issue,” Crutcher states, “ it is almost universally accepted that sexual predators who target children almost never stop on their own. Instead, they continue until they are stopped by someone else. In reading the cases you will see incident after incident in which girls continued to be raped and sexually abused – sometimes for years – after the abortion clinic where they were taken ignored the state’s mandatory reporting law. But once the situation was eventually revealed to the authorities, the perpetrator was arrested and the abuse ended immediately. This illustrates why compliance with these laws is such an indispensable tool for dealing with our national epidemic of older males sexually exploiting underage girls.”
