Who’s paying millions for this abortion training program? Taxpayers.

third trimester abortion, abortion training

Abortion training is being orchestrated out of a University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) program which receives millions in government dollars. UCSF trains abortion providers through their Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health , which claims to be “one of the few research institutions to unflinchingly address abortion, investigating multidimensional aspects of abortion care in the United States and globally.” Bixby claims their work has:

According to Bixby’s annual reports, in 2014, nearly $22 million dollars (52 percent) of Bixby’s revenue came from the taxpayer, although the report does not specify whether the funds were state or federal. By 2015, although Government dollars made up only 18 percent of Bixby’s revenue, it totaled over $18 million in taxpayer dollars. Bixby is conveniently located in California, which permits millions in taxpayer dollars to fund abortions and has no requirement that abortion numbers be reported to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for data analysis.

Taxpayer dollars sent to UCSF for fetal research include millions from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). A recent report published by CNS News breaks down the dollars of the multi-year contract:

[T]he Department of Health and Human Services has granted contracts to UCSF to make “humanized mice.”… According to contract information published on the Federal Procurement Data System, the new three-month extension will pay UCSF $521,082—bringing the total payments the federal government has made to UCSF for this contract to $10,596,960. If the government continues renewing the contract through Dec. 5, 2020, HHS would end up paying UCSF a total of $13,799,501.

In addition to government (taxpayer) dollars, Bixby receives funding from a number of organizations collaborating to expand abortion, such as:

According to Bixby, which was created to address a shortage of abortionists dating back to the mid 1980’s, the number of US abortion providers decreased by 38% between 1982 and 2005, and some 87% of US counties do not have an abortion provider.

Bixby runs two flagship programs, which “provide the opportunity to develop high-level research and clinical skills in abortion and contraception:”

FFP was established by Dr. Philip Darney, and as previously reported, FFP’s website makes it clear that abortion is their mission, stating that the family planning fellowship is a “two-year fellowship focused on subspecialist training in research, teaching and clinical practice in abortion and contraception… and they play an active role in discussions in the media related to family planning access and advocate for their patients in popular media outlets.”

Live Action News also previously reported how the Kenneth J. Ryan Residency Training Program in Abortion and Family Planning was founded in 1999 by Dr. Uta Landy, a former director of the National Abortion Federation and a recipient of Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s infamous Margaret Sanger Award. According to the Bixby Center, Landy established “one of the first abortion clinics in New York after legalization in 1970, and became the first executive director of the National Abortion Federation in 1979.” Landy was recently caught in undercover footage from the Center for Medical Progress talking about late-term abortions.

The Ryan program is now at 70 major medical schools in the US and Canada, according to their website.

The Bixby Center was originally founded as the Center for Reproductive Health Research & Policy in 1999 by Philip Darney, MD and Nancy Padian, who were shortly thereafter joined by Claire Brindis, DrPH, MPH, and Felicia Stewart, MD, according to their report. The Center offers online abortion training courses and lectures through its Innovating Education in Reproductive Health which is described as “a digital hub that highlights innovative family planning and abortion curricula, tools, teaching techniques and research from educational leaders around the world.”

Innovating Education at UCSF abortion training

The group’s week by week abortion course, “Abortion Quality Care and Public Health Implications,” has a stated goal to destigmitize abortion, among other things. The “career planning brochure” instructs graduates to “moonlight” at abortion facilities and to “highlight [their] abortion training as a special skill set” when they apply to a practice.

Innovating Education Abortion Career Planning Brochure

The abortion training course is introduced by Jody Steinauer, Associate Professor at UCSF. The course is “directed at health care students and professionals.”

The video lectures lead up to the topic of  “abortion after the first trimester,” in week four, where Steinauer admits that later abortions “can be a difficult topic to discuss for many due to feelings about a more developed fetus.”

Despite the abortion industry’s frequent denial of facts about fetal development, Bixby’s TEACH Program (Training Early Abortion for Comprehensive Healthcare) workbook acknowledges that the fetal heartbeat can be detected very early, around six weeks gestation (dates used are gestational, which is measured at two weeks more than the date of fertilization):

The embryo follows a predictable path of development and therefore can be used to date a pregnancy based on its size. The embryo appears at approximately 6 weeks and grows 1 mm per day thereafter until 12-14 weeks. After 12 weeks, fetal flexion and extension make measuring length more challenging and using the fetal biparietal diameter (BPD) is preferred. Cardiac activity appears around 6 ½ weeks.

The workbook then gives suggestions on how to speak to an abortion patient about the baby. But because this is about ending the life of a developing human person in the womb, the workbook suggests abortion providers use euphemisms like “pregnancy” instead of scientifically correct terminology such as fetus or baby.

“Your pregnancy is 8 weeks along,” instead of  “Your baby is 8 weeks old.”

Gates says they don’t fund abortion so why do they fund abortion providers ?

Gates’ claim of not funding abortion undermined by billions

While the Gates Foundation works to reduce Africa’s populations, an expert suggests that money could be better spent in another way.

Bill and Melinda Gates recently reemphasized that their foundation does not fund abortion. But their web site points out that they have given $4 billion in 900 grants to International Planned Parenthood, United Nations Population Fund, Planned Parenthood of America and Marie Stokes International.

Dr. Brian Clowes of Human Life International tells OneNewsNow that all those groups promote and perform abortions.

brianclowes150px_mug

For them to say, ‘We don’t support abortion,’ is like somebody saying, ‘We don’t support racism,’ while they give billions of dollars to Aryan Nations and Ku Klux Klan,” Clowes remarks. “The Gates Foundation is doing more than any other foundation to push abortion all over the world. It’s definitely taken a pro-abortion position with $4 billion going to organizations that promote it.”

The U.S. has spent $102 billion on contraception and abortion in Africa and Latin America since 1995, without the added help of the Gates’ $4 billion.

And if you took that $102 billion and put it into stuff like rural electrification, good schools, good roads, health care clinics and so on, you could have raised the standards of 25 million of the world’s poorest people to U.S. or European standards,” he explains. “That’s what’s called authentic economic development.”

Clowes says instead what has been accomplished is to “make large, poor families into small, poor families.”

Kudos to One News Now for clarifying the bogus claim that Gates Foundation does not support abortion. Saynsumthn has documented their pro-abortion stand for years.

In fact a look at the most recently published 990 from the Gates Foundation shows their financial support of Planned Parenthood and pro-choice organizations:

This 2013 990 clearly shows their support for abortion giant Planned Parenthood and IPPF.

A 2002 report by The Interim reveals that in 2000, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, named after Microsoft’s head and his wife, dispersed $212 million, or 15 per cent of its total grants, to “reproductive and child health” causes.

“‘Reproductive health care’ is the primary health need of women, yet limited resources in developing countries, combined with women’s economic and social position, often deprive women of access to the care they need and want,” says the foundation. “Increasing access to voluntary family planning services … are examples of the kinds of work supported by the foundation.”

Grants in the year 2000 alone included:

$8.8 million for five years to strengthen “the quality of reproductive healthcare” through the notorious International Planned Parenthood Federation in London, England.
$7.3 million for five years to PATH in Seattle, Wash. to support “family planning programs” in, of all places, China.
$1 million to Population Action International in Washington, D.C. to develop a comprehensive global strategy for ensuring “reproductive health commodity security.”
$243,000 to the United States Committee for the UNFPA, Inc. in New York to support “contraceptive logistics and management information systems” in Myanmar (Burma).
$1 million for three years to Vaestoliitto ry, the Family Federation of Finland in Helsinki, Finland to support “international reproductive health services.”
$1 million to the World Population Foundation in Hilversum, the Netherlands, to support “reproductive health and family planning services” in Asia.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is on record donating to The Guttmacher Institute as well – a research arm of Planned Parenthood ( 2013 report here).

In an interview with PBS – Bill Gates spoke about his father’s connection to abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

Bill GATES: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it’s fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that. My mom was on the United Way group that decides how to allocate the money and looks at all the different charities and makes the very hard decisions about where that pool of funds is going to go. So I always knew there was something about really educating people and giving them choices in terms of family size.

Burwell was the Gates Foundation’s president of the Global Development Program beginning in 2006 and served as chief operating officer from 2001 to 2006. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has given millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the nation.

Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Burwell served as Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget under the Clinton Administration. Burwell joined the Clinton administration in December 1992 after serving as the Deputy Director of Economic Policy for the 1992 Clinton/Gore campaign, and then as the manager of the President-elect’s Economic Transition Team. She served as Staff Director for the National Economic Council from 1993 to 1995, Chief of Staff to Secretary of the U.S. Treasury, Robert Rubin from 1995 to 1997. Burwell served in the White House as Deputy Chief of Staff to President Clinton from 1997 to 1998, where she supervised the work of the National Economic Council, the Domestic Policy Council, Council on Environmental Quality, and the White House offices of Public Liaison, Intergovernmental Affairs, Press and Communications.

In 2013, President Barack Obama nominated Burwell to lead the Office of Management and Budget. At that time Burwell was the Wal-Mart Foundation’s philanthropic director.

Planned Parenthood uses Black Woman to push Depo-Provera

Planned Parenthood pushes Depro with black womanJPG

The largest provider of abortions, founded in Eugenics and Racism is selling Birth Control and specifically the racist Depo-Provera using a black woman.

According to the Rebecca Project, Planned Parenthood, one of the largest distributors and providers of Depo Provera in the US and internationally, recklessly promots Depo Provera to a target audience of women of color and asking this question on their website: “What are the Benefits of the Birth Control Shot?” and answering: “There is nothing to do right before having sex”. When in fact using Depo Provera especially warrants condom use before having sex to avoid increased risks of HIV, as verified by esteemed BMGF and NIH funded researcher, Renee Heffron. Furthermore, Planned Parenthood violates medical ethics and FDA regulations by fraudulently promoting an off-label claim: “The shot [Depo Provera] can help prevent cancer of the lining of the uterus” However, a search of Depo Provera’s FDA approval does not list the contraceptive as a cancer prevention drug. Moreover, while making those false claims about Depo Provera, Planned Parenthood further violates FDA regulations by not posting and informing women of mandatory FDA Depo Provera warnings this together with other egregious violations of federal law, demonstrates Planned Parenthood’s intent to misinform and conceal serious harm from women. This systematic fraudulent promotion and illegal rebranding of Depo Provera supported by BMGF, Pfizer, Population Council and USAID, while receiving Medicaid payments and other disbursements from the US government in forms of grants and payments for family planning, is illegal under the False Claims Act (FCA), 31 U.S.C. §§ 3729 – 3733 (details discussed on page 14 -15).

Planned Parenthood pushes Depro

According to University of Cincinnati historian Wendy Kline, the Depro testing of the 1970s at Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital Family Planning Clinic involved mostly black women in public assistance.

Kline’s research into the debate surrounding Depo-Provera in the 1970s and 1980s began when she was visiting the Smith College Women’s History Archive where she found a large box of materials still unprocessed and not yet catalogued. This was among 50 to 60 boxes from the National Women’s Health Network.

She recalled, “The box contained hundreds of individual files, each detailing a woman’s difficulties with the side effects of Depo-Provera or detailing how she had not been informed of those side effects or detailing how she had been given the injection without her consent or by means of manipulation. This coercion, lack of informed consent and testing of the drug has obviously been gathered together in preparation for a class-action suit by the National Women’s Health Network that had never gone forward.”

But the collection did provide Kline with a rich source of material of examining the history of this contraceptive and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s public board of inquiry on Depo-Provera held in 1983.

“The use of Depo-Provera captures all of the controversy of this century regarding controlling fertility and who’s ultimately making the decision about who gets to reproduce. My research looks at coercion, risks not fully understood and how arguments were made for and against Depo-Provera at the time,” she explained.

For instance, it was in the Depo-Provera hearings in Washington that the manufacturer and those in favor of the drug had to first contend with the greater organizational powers and force of the feminist movement – but where that feminist movement had to argue its case by focusing narrowly on the flaws in the scientific research methodology applied when testing Depo-Provera.

In other words, those combating the use of Depo-Provera could not make a case against the drug based on morality or sentiment even though it could easily have been argued that this was a case of eugenics since the testing of the drug in the 1970s at Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital Family Planning Clinic involved mostly black women in public assistance.

Instead, because of FDA strictures related to evidence supplied at its board of inquiry hearings, opponents of the drug had to channel their arguments on the science then available on Depo-Provera.

“Of course,” said Kline, “It was and is very difficult to separate science from the society that produced it. There was a reason, given the understood risks of Depo-Provera, that its testing was done on poor women in the U.S. and on women in developing countries.”

According to C-Fam, the Melinda Gates’ campaign targeting African women with a new form of the contraceptive Depo Provera has provoked a coalition of Black religious leaders and human rights advocates. They are asking the U.S. Congress to stop funding the distribution of the injectable contraceptive overseas.

The leaders, who support abortion and contraception, say women of color and low-income women suffer severe health issues from Depo Provera. A new self-administered version puts women at further risk as it will be delivered without them being fully informed of the drug’s potential side effects. The contraceptive carries the potential to contract or transmit HIV at an eight-fold higher rate.

The wife of billionaire Bill Gates recently told the New York Times that she championed family planning after meeting with poor women in developing countries. The women wanted a contraceptive that comes in a shot, Gates said, because they could not negotiate condom use without implying that either they or their husbands had AIDS.

Kwame Fosu says Melinda Gates’ claim that women want Depo Provera is “disingenuous.”

“No African woman would agree to being injected if she had full knowledge of the contraceptives’ dangerous side effects,” Fosu told the Friday Fax. Fosu is policy director for the Rebecca Project for Human Rights.

“In fact,” he continued, “in countries where women are educated on the harmful complications, Depo Provera use is negligible.”

Gates’ comments illustrate an on-going conflict between public health officials’ efforts to contain the AIDS epidemic and family planning advocates who favor long-acting hormonal contraceptives to prevent pregnancy. Unlike condoms, these methods do nothing to prevent HIV transmission.

In the case of Depo Provera, the risks of HIV transmission actually increase, according to data published in The Lancet. The World Health Organization strongly advises that women using progestogen-only injectable contraception also use condoms. Planned Parenthood – one of the largest international distributors of Depo Provera – does not recommend condom use nor do they disclose potential side effects.

According to feminist, Erica Gollub, Depo-Provera, was manufactured by the Upjohn Corporation of Kalamazoo, Michigan has been a source of controversy since its entry into the market in the late 1970s.

In 1978, the FDA found the injectable drug too dangerous for use by American women. FDA’s decision was based on a study done by Upjohn at the agency’s request, which found that rhesus monkeys and beagles injected with the drug developed cancer.

But the agency came under heavy fire from other governmental and private agencies involved in the drug’s distribution in the Third World. Led by the Agency for International Development (AID), these groups feared the impact of the FDA decision on the “image” of Depo and family planning programs abroad. They also opposed any constraints on its overseas distribution.

After years of delay, the FDA finally agreed to hearings on the drug. From the beginning, Upjohn insisted on a scientific inquiry, an approach that limited the scope of issues considered – particularly the more significant ethical and policy considerations raised by the use and promotion of the drug. Nevertheless, evidence presented by opponents of the drug showed that Depo-Provera is considerably more dangerous than Upjohn is willing to admit.

Dr. Christopher Rhodes, called to testify by the National Women’s Health Network, listed the “constellation of defects” that women can experience, ranging from severe menstrual irregularities to permanent sterility to high blood pressure and blood clots. Sybil Shainwal, president of the Network, accused Upjohn of “risking the health of American women with a drug that has never been proven safe.” Public Citizen’s Health Research Group charged that “no reliable studies” have been done on the long-term use of Depo on humans.

In defense, Upjohn cited the conclusions of “three international panels of experts” associated with AID and the World Health Organization. These groups claim that animal studies – the basis of nearly all the evidence on Depo – are “inappropriate” for judging the drug’s effects on women.

But Steve Minkin, former Chief Officer of Nutrition at AID quoted studies from the Office of Technology Assessment and the National Research Council affirming the reliability of animals in cancer research. Minkin worked with some of the first Depo users in Bangladesh in 1979.

National Women’s Health Network witness Dr. Ruth Shearer also disagreed with Upjohn’s “experts.” A cancer and genetics expert, Shearer charged that the AID and WHO groups “were not impartial panels of concerned scientists. They represent organizations which have been responsible for widespread use of Depo Provera.” If they admitted to the hazardous nature of the drug, she said, they “would be admitting their responsibility for future massive human illness.”

Another issue raised at the hearings concerned the use of Depo on women whom doctors say cannot be “trusted” with other forms of contraception. Depo critics have charged that the drug has been used on “powerless groups” such as mentally retarded women and welfare mothers. At the hearings, witnesses described two groups recently “targeted” by doctors: the predominantly Hispanic population at University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, and the “SS-95%” Black population at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

According to Dr. Robert Hatcher of Grady, 11,000 women have been treated with Depo at his hospital since 1967. Usage started several years before any animal testing had taken place.

Dr. Sidney Wolfe of the Health Research Group found this double standard of safety “morally offensive and unacceptable.” Mentally retarded women, said Wolfe, are “the least appropriate candidates for a contraceptive such as Depo-Provera. (They) are the least likely to be able to weigh the benefits and the risks of the drug and give true informed consent.”

But Dr. Hatcher and other family planning practitioners said that their consent form and information booklet accompanying the shot justifies the use of the drug. “Our booklet mentions 11 problems related to Depo-Provera,” Hatcher said. He reasoned that as long as women “know” what they’re getting, the injection should be used.

Dr. Wolfe, however, pointed out that “the whole question of informed consent is a moot question” since the full extent of risk is still unknown. Another witness cited how the drug is administered at one clinic in northern Thailand, where women “are processed in from 60 to 90 seconds,” with little time for “amenities” like consent.

Some population officials used the consent argument to attack the opponents of Depo. Dr. Malcolm Potts of Family Health International said that anti-Depo forces “oppose people having a choice” in contraception. “I see modes of contraception like modes of transportation,” said Potts, and compared Depo with a Volkswagon: “It’s sturdy, dependable, it might rattle and does have some problems, but it should be available.”

But health activists countered that these same “pro-choice” officials spend little time and money promoting the safer, barrier methods of contraception, and often endorse money or food “incentives” for Third World women “choosing injection or sterilization”. “Their priority,” said one activist, “is expediency in population control.

A number of consumer, women’s and human rights groups are mobilizing to stop the spread of Depo-Provera. The National Women’s Health Network maintains a registry of women having received unauthorized shots of Depo, which they say circulates in the blood for three months or longer. The Network recently announced their intention to sue Upjohn for compensation to women injured by the drug.

United Presbyterian Church and the Maryknoll Fathers, members of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, have recently submitted a shareholder resolution to Upjohn concerning Depo. Other groups working on the issue include Public Citizen’s Health Research Group and the Boston Women’s Health Book Collective.

Whatever the outcome of the Depo hearings, Upjohn has little to lose and much to gain. FDA approval would mean greater sales for the company on a product whose annual sales already exceed $25 million.

Malawi children forcefully vaccinated by gunpoint

Posted in Bill Gates, Vaccinations with tags , , , , , , on July 26, 2011 by saynsumthn

According to a recent report in the Malawi Voice, at least 131 Malawian children were vaccinated this week at gunpoint after having previously fled the country with their parents to avoid the mandatory jabs.

Reports indicate that a number of children and their parents belonging to Zion and Atumwi Churches fled the southeast African country of Malawi to neighboring Mozambique a few months ago in order to avoid a measles vaccine campaign.

Upon recently returning, officials apparently learned of the unvaccinated children’s whereabouts and, forcibly injected them at gunpoint with the vaccines.

Read more: Here

Some are accusing the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which has been shoving vaccinations down the throats of these communities.

According to Natural News: Gates Foundation supports ‘health surveillance assistants’ program responsible for pushing vaccines at gunpoint

In January 2010, Melinda Gates took a special trip to Malawi to see how the country was progressing at achieving the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals, which include “ending poverty” by 2015.

In a video posting at the Gates Foundation website, Melinda lauds Malawi’s efforts to reduce child mortality, which include the establishment of 11,000 “health surveillance assistants” that she says “spend three weeks out in the villages … providing basic vaccinations … and they make sure the vaccinations happen not just at the village level, but all the way back through the system” (http://www.gatesfoundation.org/mate…).

And just how do these “health surveillance assistants” make sure that the vaccinations happen? By forcing villagers to get them at gunpoint which, of course, is not mentioned in Melinda’s video blog. If you simply watch the video and accept it at face value, you will be left with the false impression that the Malawi government’s health initiatives are nothing but benevolent efforts to help people that want it.

Billionaires ban media from secret meeting, eugenics goals discussed?

Posted in Abortion, Bill Gates, Eugenics, Giving Pledge, Planned Parenthood funded by rich elites, Population Control, Population Council, Warren Buffet, Warren Buffit with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 10, 2011 by saynsumthn

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett says a private gathering at an Arizona resort where Oprah likes to hang out was a great chance for the American billionaires who have pledged to give away at least half their wealth to meet each other, compare notes, eat and laugh.

The first annual gathering of people who have committed to the Giving Pledge met May 5,2011 at the Miraval Resort, a Tucson resort owned by one of the signers—Steve Case, a philanthropist and a co-founder of America Online, and his wife, Jean.

Buffett knew only about 12 of the 61 people at a dinner before the famously gregarious Berkshire Hathaway CEO worked the room and made 40 new friends.

“They all more than fulfilled my expectations,” Buffett told The Associated Press on Friday in a telephone interview.

The media was banned from the first annual meeting of the group that has accepted the giving challenge by Buffett and his friend Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. So were extended family, advisers, secretaries and the CEOs of the foundations represented by the billionaires at the Miraval Resort in Tucson.

While they may have been closed-mouth to the outside world, they were quite chatty with each other and used the occasion to learn about their individual philanthropic pursuits. AP reports that Melinda Gates, who co-chairs the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with her husband, “was delighted by the openness of the virtual strangers.” George Kaiser, a Tulsa, Okla., philanthropist.

Since last June, 69 individuals or couples have made the giving pledge…the curiosity of many on the outside is whether the real goal is to fund Eugenics !!!!

The reasons some conclude this is that if you look over the donations of these billionaires like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet , George Kaiser and others you see a common thread of supporting pro-abortion , population control organizations !

According to Philanthropy News Digest, in 2009, the George Kaiser Family Foundation Awarded $6.6 Million to Tulsa Nonprofits

A total of $2.6 million was awarded to health organizations, including the Mental Health Association, which received $270,000, and Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services, which received $90,000, while grants totaling $2.3 million were awarded to organizations that provide human services, including the Parent Child Center, which received $100,000, and LIFE Senior Services, which received $65,000. Additional grants will support education and youth development programs, enable low-income homeowners to make repairs, and provide Medicare prescription assistance to the needy.

Matching grants were awarded to thirty-four organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma, the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Planned Parenthood of Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma, and Oklahomans for Equality. Planned Parenthood appears to be a common recipient of these billionaires as the organization sets up shop inside minority communities and offers them abortions.

Access Philanthropy says that the [Warren] Buffett Foundation gave more than 100 Planned Parenthood affiliates grants ranging from $5,000 to $500,000 during the last three years.

Here is a list of just a few:
$ 267,357 to Planned Parenthood Association of Southwest and Central Florida , Sarasota , FL
$ 250,000 to Planned Parenthood of Alaska , Anchorage , AK
$ 75,000 to Planned Parenthood of Minnesota and South Dakota , Saint Paul , MN

Did you know that Warren Buffett has given $3 billion — yes, three billion dollars — to promote abortion here in the U.S. and around the world? Often, government officials in developing countries are under pressure to control population in order to qualify for international aid. So they pressure women in the villages to get abortions. Western Europe is especially strong in pushing for abortion in these developing countries.

The Times article quotes Buffett’s late wife telling interviewer Charlie Rose, “Warren feels that women all over the world get shortchanged. That’s why he’s so pro-choice.”

Buffett, plans to commit 10 million class B shares of his company, Berkshire Hathaway, to the Gates Foundation. That foundation also supports abortion and Planned Parenthood.

Elitist: Warren Buffett says Gates Foundation t…, posted with vodpod

Fortune Magazine recently detailed the first complete public disclosure on what went down in this historic meeting of monies. In what could be potentially the biggest fundraising drive in history, Warren Buffett and Bill and Melinda Gates are hoping to inspire other billionaires to pledge at least 50 percent of their net worth to charity during their lifetimes or at death.

In 2006, Buffett endowed the Gates Foundation with 10 million Berkshire Class B shares, valued at approximately $37 billion dollars. Buffett’s 2010 donation constitutes part of the annual installment plan of 5 percent of pledged stocks to the foundation’s trust fund. The stock gives the Gates Foundation a steady source of income (the pay-out target over the coming decade is $3 billion a year) from which it can fund various other charities – which have included population control groups such as Planned Parenthood and others.

Just last month, the Gates Foundation announced they would be investing $1.5 billion in the cause of “maternal health” over the next 5 years – with a special emphasis on spreading “family planning” in the third world. (Code for pro-abortion eugenics)

Bloomberg reports that other abortion advocacy groups also received tens of millions for their work promoting abortion at home and abroad through the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, a charity Buffet set up in honor of his first wife, who died in 2005. That foundation distributed more than $2 million to the Abortion Access Project Inc., over $2 million to Catholics for Choice, a group dedicated to undermining the Catholic Church’s teaching on the sanctity of life, and more than $40 million to Ipas, a group that promotes the expansion of legal abortion in Latin and Central America, and in third world countries.

In September of 2010, The liberal group Human Rights Watch, which advocates for “gay rights” causes but also actively promotes abortion, will soon be a recipient of $100 million from left-wing activist George Soros. The billionaire announced he is donating the money so HRW can expand its efforts globally.

The donation is the largest political one Soros has made and it is the largest donation HRW has ever received.

GATES: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things.
