Abortion industry pushes for more minority abortions in TV and movies

pregnant, abortion, Black

Going hand in hand with Planned Parenthood’s announcement that abortion would be its number one focus in 2019 come plans to promote abortion as normal in movies and TV. This effort to change the so-called “stigma” that surrounds abortion by “working with content creators on honest and authentic portrayals of abortion in film and television” will include creating more portrayals of “women of color (WOC)” obtaining abortions — something that should raise the eyebrows of anyone who knows about the eugenic history of Planned Parenthood.

The move comes as women of color are experiencing declining abortion rates.

Planned Parenthood’s former “special affiliate,” the Guttmacher Institute, found that “Black women had the highest abortion rate in 2014 (27.1 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age) and white women had the lowest rate (10 per 1,000). Between 2008 and 2014, women of color experienced the steepest abortion rate declines: Rates fell 32%–39% among Hispanic and black women and those who identified with a race other than black or white, compared with a 14% decline among white women.”

“We’ll be enhancing our efforts to destigmatize abortion in the media and across popular culture — including working with the music, fashion, movie, and television industries, and announcing additional public awareness campaigns in the coming months,” wrote the nation’s largest abortion corporation. To that end, Planned Parenthood has a full time “director of arts and entertainment engagement.” Director Caren Spruch’s job, according to her LinkedIn page, is to advance “sexual and reproductive health and rights through pop culture.”

Planned Parenthood’s eugenic agenda was driven by founder Margaret Sanger who strategically worked to convince the Black community to control its population through her infamous “Negro Project.” Sanger is still viewed as a hero by the abortion industry, despite her admission that she met with members of the Ku Klux Klan, advocated eugenics, and supported the use of sterilization to rid the planet of the “unfit.”

Like Sanger’s Negro Project, a review of a 92-page report from the Tara Health Foundation, a philanthropic effort that funds abortion facilities and efforts, reveals an abortion industry insider strategy to promote abortion among Women of Color — namely, “… specific demographic groups (18-19 year olds, Black [WOC] and Hispanic women, and low-income women) that lag behind the national average in their rates of contraceptive use….”

TARA Health Foundation invest in Women of Color for pushing abortion

The report includes statistics and analysis from “ANSIRH, the Guttmacher Institute, Ibis Reproductive Health, and the Kaiser Family Foundation.” All of these organizations are heavily involved with abortion. TARA’s founder, Ruth Shaber, previously held research positions at Kaiser Permanente and serves on the Medical Advisory Committee for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Guttmacher’s founder was a eugenicist that helped mold Planned Parenthood into an abortion vendor. The organization is the former “special affiliate” and research arm of Planned Parenthood.

To monitor this goal, the Abortion On Screen program database was created by Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH). This group was founded by a board member of the National Abortion Federation who was a medical director and staff physician at Planned Parenthood facilities in California, and it publishes workbooks on abortion training. In the group’s database of abortion in TV and movies, unsurprisingly, “Plotlines in which a character considers but does not have an abortion… are not included….”

At InStyle.com, Gretchen Sisson, Ph.D, ANSIRH sociologist and lead researcher, lamented:

TV often shapes our views of the world…. Women of color and women who are mothers are dramatically under-represented… characters tend to get abortions for self-focused reasons… barriers to accessing abortion are either non-existent or easily overcome…. All of these misrepresentations shape what people know and believe about abortion. They could be doing better.

…[O]ur 2015 report found that nearly 90% of television characters getting abortions were white, the finding that almost half of this year’s plot lines in which a character obtained or disclosed an abortion included black women represents the beginning of a corrective course toward more inclusive storytelling — even as Latina characters remain underrepresented. As the majority of American women who have abortions are women of color, it is essential that their stories are told… if we are to capture the current reality of abortion in our country.

ANSIRH celebrated momentum behind Black abortion portrayals:

2018 marked an important moment in fictional abortion stories on television: a shift towards highlighting the nuanced experiences of women of color, more specifically Black women. This year, we identified 18 plotlines where a character has an abortion, discloses a past abortion, or considers getting an abortion. Of those, four of the five characters who obtained an abortion in the course of the plotline were either Black or biracial women.

A recent survey by the Guttmacher Institute discovered that — in their words — “being black,” among other reasons, contributed to women having multiple abortions.

Guttmacher Prior Abortion Survey

The report found that Black women had a higher rate of prior abortions: “Slightly more than half of Black abortion patients had a prior abortion (54%), higher than any other racial and ethnic group.”

If the overall Black abortion rate is already disproportionately high, strategies like this will likely force that rate even higher. Is this the outcome wanted by the abortion industry? We can only speculate.

Abortion patient: Planned Parenthood sucked baby out with vacuum as medical waste

Posted in Abortion Regret with tags , , , , , , , , , on November 11, 2015 by saynsumthn

A woman who said she was pressured into an abortion by her boyfriend, has uploaded a message of abortion regret, accusing Planned Parenthood of sucking out her child with a vacuum, calling it medial waste. The idea of regret from abortion is often denied by those who profit from killing preborn children in the womb.

Kimberly abortion regret

In the video, the woman who identifies herself as Kimberly begins by saying she was told as a teen she would be unable to get pregnant. Kimberly says that despite what she was told, she found herself pregnant anyway. She then recounted her boyfriend’s reaction when she told him,

“He told me he was going to push me down the stairs, that he hated me. Well, he would hate me if I kept the baby.

Feeling emotionally and financially incapable to care for a child, Kimberly said she made her way to a Planned Parenthood for the abortion. The 20-year-old, who said she never believed “abortion is for me” noted that she felt pressured into the procedure. Despite the pressure and threats from her boyfriend, Planned Parenthood was more than eager to take her money.

At 8 weeks, Kimberly received her state required ultra sound and then waited the required 24-hours to receive the abortion. Even at this point, as she awaited the procedure, she was very ambivalent recounting how the staff at Planned Parenthood repeatedly entered her room until she finally relented and had the abortion.

When I got there I was still unsure about it but I decided to go through with it,” she states in the video. “They had to come back like three times and ask me before I did it. I did it and the whole experience was very traumatic. I remember laying there and they injected me with the drugs. It happened so fast I couldn’t really change my mind about it. I felt like it was the best thing to do for me. But, I feel differently now. I honestly feel like it was the worst mistake I ever made in my life.”

Listening to Kimberly you get a sense that this abortion has so impacted her that she will live with regret for the rest of her life.

“It was honestly very traumatic for me. I think it is the worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life. And, I know I am going to think about this every day and I wish more than anything I wouldn’t have done it. I feel like when I have kids in the future I’m still going to think about this,” she says.

“I know that I thought before it was always a woman’s choice, But, after I went through the experience and I experienced the guilt that I feel now, I think it’s completely wrong. I would never suggest to a woman to do it – EVER!” she states.

It is at this point, that Kimberly turns her attention to exactly what Planned Parenthood did.

“I had life inside of me and they sucked it out with a vacuum – and it was medical waste. It was the worst mistake I ever made in my life…I’m not even sure how I going to live with the guilt that I did for the rest of my life…

“I wish more than anything that I wouldn’t have gotten an abortion…I wish I wouldn’t have let other people influence me to do it. I don’t think any woman should do it, I think it’s completely wrong..” Kimberly regretfully adds.

Kimberly tells her over three hundred thousand viewers that a preborn child has a heartbeat at 5 weeks,

I mean how do you define if a person is dead or alive, by the heartbeat.”

“If you’re thinking about doing it [abortion] please please consider adoption…there is always a way.”

How one abortion owner plans to turn lemons into lemon aid by using suction machines as show and tell

REPUBLISHED FROM LIFE DYNAMICS BLOG

A Texas abortion owner wants to use the abortion suction machines at her closed facility for “show and tell” to reduce what she calls “abortion stigma.”

Texas has been the site where several abortion clinics have closed because they could not comply with state law that requires abortion facilities comply with the minimum health and safety standards adopted by the State for ambulatory surgical centers, and that abortionists have admitting privileges in a local hospital near an abortion clinic.

The radical pro-abortion blog, RH Reality Check spoke to Amy Hagstrom Miller who operates several abortion clinics in Texas under the name Whole Woman’s Health.

Now that pro-life legislation is closing many abortion facilities in the state, Hagstrom Miller has come up with a new scheme to remain “relevant” and “shift abortion stigma,” a program she calls SHIFT.

Get a free prolife pin

Shift, according to Hagstrom Miller, is a group “working to strategically shift the stigma around abortion in our culture,” and “committed to fostering open and honest conversations, lifting up all communities, and advocating for reproductive freedom.

To accomplish this goal, the abortion owner has created a non profit she will operate from her now closed Austin facility called, ChoiceWorks, which she describes as “working to strategically shift the stigma around abortion in our culture.”

The idea is to use the closed death camp as a “kind of an Abortion University” where Hagstrom Miller will teach an “Abortion 101” workshop.

Maybe the clinic owner will use her Beaumont center in this “Abortion University” workshop of sorts as well.

A 2013, state inspectors found that Whole Woman’s Health Beamont clinic failed to have some of the same life-saving tools on site that convicted abortionist Kermit Gosnell was cited for in Pennsylvania.

Hagstrom Miller told RH Reality Check that she always fantasize about what it would look like if abortion care were treated as, “legitimate in women’s health care, just like miscarriage management or delivery?”

Some of our programs are inviting people to come into the clinic—this, where we’re talking, is one of those clinics. We have a safe space where we kind of re-enact a day in the life of a clinic for not just the media, but our allies. We’ll walk through, literally from the phone call all the way through the paperwork, ultrasound, and counseling, so people can see how regulations actually affect the service, experientially. But then we could also have this interaction where people can, in a safe place, say, “But what is that you’re seeing in the ultrasound? What happens in the ultrasound? Can I see the instruments?” And they’ll say things like, “Oh my goodness, there aren’t any sharp instruments,” or “Can I see the fetal tissue?” or whatever. A safe place where we can do education about what actually happens.”

Pro-lifers have been educating the public on what an abortion looks like for years.

ABORTION IS GOOD?

Good Women Have Abortions

The abortion chain operator told the pro-choice blog that she wants society to think of abortion as good.

Nobody’s talking about abortion as though it’s a good in our society, or as though good women would have an abortion. I had this banner outside Whole Woman’s Health for years that said, “Good women have abortions.” People flipped out,” Hagstrom Miller said.

Killing babies is good in our society?

Did we mention www.100abortionpictures.com?

How about www.safeandlegal.com where Life Dynamics lists the names of the women killed from legal abortion?

Or….www.childpredators.com which documents how pedophiles use abortion to cover child sexual abuse?

What about the many women who regret their abortions?

Hagstrom Miller said that her new abortion adventure is her way of “turning lemons into lemonade.”

I have, as it turns out, a bunch of suction machines I don’t know what to do with. So if they can become used for show and tell? Awesome,” she stated.

You cannot make this stuff up.

As Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics has said many times, the pro-choice mindset comes from mental illness.

Listen to him explain this on a recent Life Talk TV show.

END LIFE DYNAMICS:

Despite the fact that one of Amy Hagstrom Miller’s own abortion facilities has been cited for safety violations, Hagstroim Miller said this:

“The bad provider thing is rough. How can we talk about that? Whenever I see the word “access,” I don’t want access to abortion, I want access to quality abortion. I host little debates within the field: Is any abortion a good abortion? I don’t think so. I want us to have those ethical debates.”

The Texas abortion chain owner does subscribe to the ideology that women who have abortions need to talk about them:

“People say, “People just need to tell their abortion stories,” and I’m like, no they fucking don’t. I mean, I love when they do. But we can’t make shifting the movement that person’s burden. That’s not her fucking job. She doesn’t owe that to us. So I get super animated about this, “Oh we just need to have more patients tell their stories,” you know? No we don’t! We have providers that don’t talk about what they do.”

But she added that she wants men to talk about how abortion benefits them,”Because I want a frame where we can talk about how men benefit from abortion.”

She concluded by stating all the things she believed abortion providers were afriad to be asked about:

“So that we don’t leave what my friend Charlotte Taft calls the “crumbs at the picnic.” We have a picnic and we don’t clean up and anti-choicers grab every little crumb. Abortion, money! Ooh, “late-term” abortion! Fetal pain! Oh, sex-selection! I could make a list of all the things that all of us are terrified of being asked about. That’s totally by design.”

Planned Parenthood wants to “make abortion normal”

Posted in Abortion Stigma, Cecile Richards Salary, Planned Parenthood 990, Planned Parenthood CEO, Planned Parenthood Employee, Planned Parenthood six digit salary with tags , , , , , , , , , , on June 15, 2015 by saynsumthn

The very thought of something even the abortion lobby trumps as “RARE” to be made normal is appalling.

But, when Planned Parenthood, which has been running away from the label of abortion business, tweets “make abortion normal“, one must take note.

Here is the message tweeted by the tax funded organization:

“Make abortion normal = End Stigma! http://ow.ly/OklpH #EndAbortionStigma

PP Make abortion normal

Planned Parenthood even wrote this on their website where they also praised their president, Cecile Richards for “coming out” about her own abortion, “If you think about it, abortion stigma—the fact that women feel judged for something that’s not uncommon—seems a little old-school, doesn’t it? Planned Parenthood and many other organizations, lobbyists, and individuals out there agree and they’ve chosen to take a stand by ending the silence.”

Ironically, despite their rhetoric Planned Parenthood has been trying to change their “imageaway from the largest abortion provider in the country.

Planned Parenthood In Clinic ABortion

An interesting turn of events given that Planned Parenthood has worked hard to hide their image of the abortion giant they are setting up abortion clinics and abortion referral centers nationwide like the Wal-mart of the abortion industry.

Of late, Planned Parenthood has spent an great deal of time marketing themselves as anything BUT an abortion center – yet- they hypocritically call for and end to “abortion stigma?”

Hmmm.

Why would that be if child killing in the womb for any reason and at any gestational age is to be made “normal“?

Because, for all of their fancy marketing of abortion as a “choice“, the public still finds abortion distasteful at best and out-right abhorrent at worst.

It may be true that many do not want all abortions made illegal, but, many also see abortion as a kind of a “necessary evil” and certainly not something to be made “normal.”

Pro-life people however would disagree, noting it for what it is, the wholesale slaughter of a human baby in the womb for pay.

And, the largest recipient of that murder for hire fee is Planned Parenthood themselves where directors and staff rake in six digit salaries for their alleged “care no matter what $$$.

Below are a few examples form the corporate 990, which does not include salaries from each of the abortion giant’s almost 800 centers:

2011 PPFA 990

2010, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) 990:

The truth is that, “making abortion normal” is all Planned Parenthood is about and anyone who doubts this need only look at the numbers:

Pro-choice author: Unintended pregnancy is bad but not Abortion

Posted in Pro-choice People, Pro-choice Spin with tags , , , , , on May 16, 2015 by saynsumthn

Did you read that title?

Now you know the crux of this battle.

To abortion advocates the “problem” has always been the baby!

LaurEN Kacere

Thus- the reason why Everyday Feminist blogger, Laura Kacere wrote:

    Abortion Isn’t a Bad Thing

So we shouldn’t be talking about it like it is.

It’s not just the phrase that’s the problem, but the sentiment behind it.

Beneath the desire to keep abortion rare, people say, is a desire to reduce unintended pregnancies, which is completely legitimate.

Unintended pregnancies are hard, can put undue stress on everyone involved, and can be reduced in pretty simple ways, like better sexuality education and greater access to contraception.

But the word being used here isn’t unintended pregnancies, it’s abortion.

Unintended Pregnancies should be rare - abortions not so much

And when people say “keep abortion rare,” they’re promoting a narrative that says abortion is inherently a bad thing.

But abortion isn’t something bad, and it isn’t something to be ashamed of. It can actually be a positive experience for some people and is something that many people are glad that they have access to when they need it.

It’s unfortunate and hurtful to our movement when people who identify as pro-choice continue to view and promote the perspective of abortion as a “bad” thing and something to reduce.

The fact is, abortion is a relatively simple medical procedure and should be viewed similarly to other medical procedures in that all those who need or want it should have access to it.

Laura Kacere’s bio states that she is an abortion clinic escort. Why am I not surprised?

She goes on to say, “When there are women and girls who don’t get an abortion due to the intense cultural stigma and shame surrounding the medical procedure, that number is too low.

Too low?

In the modern ago of trying to rid the nation of “abortion stigma,” abortion advocates cannot accept that the cold-blooded murder for hire scheme of abortion is by nature BAD!

Aborted baby foot 2

aborted baby CN IMG_2931

So they create a massive diversion which is:

The teen or woman who has an “unintended pregnancy” she does not abort is “bad“!

In other words, do not stigmatize the act of killing an unborn baby in the womb- but – do stigmatize the pregnant teen or woman? And, ladies and gents, this is what the abortion lobby refers to as -PROGRESS and reproductive rights!

Kacere asks, “is reducing or altogether stopping the rate of abortion something we really want?”

I guess to Kacere and her abortion-loving pro-choice community the answer would be “no.”

“Abortion? yeah – we do that” says ad by “spa-like” abortion clinic

Carafem is a a franchise of clinics belonging to the 501c3 non-profit FemHealth USA.

We utilize research and technology to provide abortion services that offer greater convenience, enhanced medical professionalism, and personalized comfort,” they state online.

FemHealth’s board members include the following:

Dr. Sara Newmann : ObGyn and assistant clinical professor at UCSF Medical Center
Phil Harvey : Founder of DKT International and Population Services International
Christopher Purdy : President of FemHealth USA
Melissa Grant : Vice President of Health Services of FemHealth USA
    Julie Stewart: Founder of FAMM
Nicole Gray: US Country Director at Marie Stopes International

But, behind all the hype, what they really are is an abortion clinic located just outside of the District in Montgomery County, Maryland, where they “specialize in first trimester abortions (up to 10 weeks) with the abortion pill” for $400.00 a pop.

Chris Purdy, the president & CEO of Carafem, told The Huffington Post that he came up with the idea for the clinic around 18 months ago where he worked with Melissa S. Grant, a former Planned Parenthood director who is now Carafem’s vice president of health services to provide early-term abortion and make the experience less clinical.

According to their financial statement, Carafem received a substantial portion of its revenue from DKT International whose president Christopher Purdy is FemHealth USA Inc.’s Executive Director and chairman of its Board of Directors.

At Carafem, staff members plan to greet clients with warm teas, comfortable robes and a matter-of-fact attitude.

“We don’t want to talk in hushed tones,” said Carafem President Christopher Purdy. “We use the A-word.”

To draw in more clients, the abortion clinic has produced some new abortion ads:

This nonchalant attitude toward child killing is shameful. You can publish all the cutesy videos you want and promote the most luxurious atmosphere there is – but in the end- what you are doing remains the same.

One blogger’s title summed it up, “New Abortion Spa: Murder Your Child in Luxury.”
