A comedian who writes for Sports Illustrated and is featured on ESPN and other media outlets has joked about pushing a pregnant woman down a flight of stairs in a video he published about abortion protesters.
Steve Hofstetter writes a weekly humor column on SportsIllustrated.com, blogs funny for NHL.com and contributes to “Maxim” and “ESPN Magazine.” Steve’s “Sports Minute (Or So)” is syndicated on 194 radio stations nationwide, and he’s a frequent guest on ESPN, Fox Sports and Sporting News Radio.
So…when he uploaded this video on abortion humor it was rather shocking.
In the vid called, The War on Abortion Protesters, Steve describes his interaction with “abortion protesters” in line at an Office Depot, “Now, I know that because they brought it up. In a line- at an Office Depot. Like it was a normal piece of conversation,” he tells the audience.
The protesters told him they were late to their abortion protest. Steve’s response is definitely funny – but- I think as the gig continues – he crosses the line.
“These guys were jerks,” he continues,”Not because I disagree with their politics. You can disagree with someone it doesn’t make them a bad person“, the comedian says seriously.
“They were jerks because they were [expletive] the line was taking to long,” he explains, “These guys are jawing my ear off as if I could do something about it.”
“We’re late to our abortion protest“, he mocks.
“After five minutes of this finally I turned to them, and I said, I bet if you guys had supported abortion, this line could have been shorter,” Steve continues.
The audience then laughs.
Well…okay….I get it…it’s humor, right? But…wait….
Steve then explains that, “I told that story in Hayes, Kansas. I’d had better luck performing an actual abortion on stage.”
“Was taking a volunteer from the crowd. Does anyone have any pregnant women? Now whose got a flight of stairs?”
That weird moment when you can’t believe what just came out of your mouth and neither can your audience:
“Oh, come on, I’m not a doctor,” he says.
Bingo – there it is a typical pro-choice male or shall I say Bro-choice response to abortion. Pushing a pregnant woman down a flight of stairs is NOTHING and may I emphasis NOTHING to joke about. But- hey- if you think joking about ending the life of a baby is funny – there isn’t much of a stretch when you dehumanize the child’s mother either.
Perhaps this is all in fun and I am overreacting. I will leave it to those commenting here to debate that. But, the truth is, abortion kills millions of innocent children. Also true is that women are commonly coerced into abortions and are attacked for refusing to have abortions by the men who want OUT of their responsibility to be a father.
A report published a few years ago by Life Dynamics, in Denton, Texas proved this over and over again with horrific examples.
“Over the years, we have collected data on a large volume of these cases, the bulk of which are non- fatal assaults. Although the victims of these attacks often suffer horrifying and crippling physical injuries, we chose to concentrate solely on instances in which the victim died,” the group writes in the study, “In almost every incident in which women are told that they will be physically harmed unless they abort, they are going to comply, never tell anyone and, thus, fade into anonymity. For those who resist and end up on a stretcher or an autopsy table, they can expect to have their experiences hidden under a thick blanket of media deception. From these realities, the inescapable conclusion is that the case studies in this document can represent no more than the tiniest tip of an enormous iceberg,” the Under-the-Radar Violence in the Conflict Over Abortion, report reads.
With all the ramblings about the War on Women and calling for NFL players who abuse women to be fired one would think that joking about assaulting a pregnant women as a do-it-yourself abortion method would be frowned upon. One would think anyway!
Kathleen Willey, the former volunteer aide to Bill Clinton who claims the president sexually assaulted her in the White House in 1993, went on national television Tuesday night to escalate her new battle against former First Lady Hillary Clinton, considered by many to be the leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for the Oval Office in 2016.
“I think she needs to be exposed for all the terror campaigns she has raised against women who were at the wrong place at the wrong time with her husband,” Willey told Megyn Kelly of Fox News.
As NARAL, the lobbying group for abortion rights, rolled out a campaign they call “Men for Choice” attacks against pregnant women by pro-choice men are increasing.
Last month, the State of Florida Board of Medicine issued a “slap on the wrist” to an abortion doctor who was arrested after he slapped one of his abortion patients.
The incident occurred in 2010, when a woman identified only as “Amanda” went to the Orlando Woman’s Center abortion clinic to have her unborn child killed. Once she was on the table, abortionist Randall Whitney tried several times to find a vein in her arm to give her a shot of valium. And even though he was not able to put the needle into a vein, he injected the drug anyway. The result was a severe burning sensation in the woman’s arm and she started to scream. At the same time, her arm began to turn blue; she got up off the table and told Whitney she wanted to leave. He told her to shut up because she was frightening his other customers. Then, as she tried to leave, he slapped her in the face.
A transcript of the police report reads:
I, officer Hughley was sitting inside the office when I heard a OWC [Orlando Woman’s Center] patient run out of one of the rooms screaming advising the doctor has slapped her. I followed the patient outside and she advised in a sworn written statement: she went into the exam room to get an abortion procedure and the doctor was trying to find a vein to give some valium. She Amanda ______ advised the doctor had poked her three times trying to get the needle in the vein. She told him the needle was not in the vein and it started to burn. Amanda advised she started screaming. The doctor took the needle out and told her to shut up because she was scaring other patients. Amanda advised she got up and told the doctor she wanted to leave, so she stood up and the doctor slapped her on the left side of the face. Amanda advised that’s when she left. She also advised she did not give the doctor permission to slap her and wishes to press charges. Due to the needle or medicine Amanda’s fingers began to turn blue, so OFD (Orlando Fire Department) was notified. When I (officer Hughley) went back inside the building, the doctor (Dr Whitney) was sitting in the front office and he advised he did slap Amanda because she was being very uncooperative and he was trying to calm her down. Assistant Sonia Merced was inside the room with Dr. Whitney, but refuse to say what happened, nor did she want to write a statement. Dr Whitney refused to write a statement also. Amanda’s face was red on the left side of the face. Whitney was arrested and transported to central booking for aggravated battery.
Eventually, the police were called and Whitney was arrested and charged with aggravated battery. But in 2012, authorities reduced the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor and a few weeks ago, he was reprimanded and given what amounts to a slap on the wrist.
According to Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, Inc. which investigates the abortion industry, “This of course, is exactly the kind of behavior we’ve come to expect from the washouts and losers who work in abortion clinics.”
Media and Pro-choice Women’s Groups Ignore Real War On Women:
Crutcher points out that, “The abortion lobby’s media stooges will always look the other way when these episodes take place. And if you want to see how outrageous that is, just ask yourself how much coverage this story would have gotten if, instead of being assaulted by her abortionist, this woman had been slapped by a pro-life sidewalk counselor as she was walking into the clinic. Where are the so-called women’s groups? If anyone other than an abortionist had done the same thing, do you think they might have trotted out their “war-on-women” rhetoric? Count on it.”
Just this month the following cases of PRO-CHOICE VIOLENCE have been documented;
A South Dakota man has been accused of giving herbs to girlfriend to cause an abortion. According to reports, 36 year old Alfredo Vargas once told his pregnant girlfriend Lisa Komes that she should get an abortion. Komes claims that Vargas gave her a drink she said tasted bitter and gritty. On another occasion, she said, she saw white residue at the bottom of her fountain drink cup. Not long after, Vargas brought her another fountain drink — and it smelled minty, and Komes called the police. The drink was taken for testing and Komes said police determined it contained pulegone, an herb known to cause a miscarriage. Vargas, faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
An Ohio man who allegedly shot at his pregnant girlfriend when she refused to get an abortion has been arrested on charges of felonious assault. According to reports, the 18 year-old woman told police that she was driving her car when, her unborn baby’s father, 23 year-old Tanner Hopkins, pulled up next to her and fired two shots without saying a word. The victim told police that Hopkins insisted she get an abortion and said he was mad because she refused to do that. Both the victim and the unborn child were not hurt in the assault.
In Florida, the son of a doctor has admitted in court that he intentionally tricked his pregnant girlfriend into taking a drug he hoped would cause a miscarriage. 28 year old John Andrew Welden pleaded guilty to federal charges of product tampering and mail fraud, admitting that he slipped his ex-girlfriend the abortion drug. According to reports, Welden did not want to be a father, so when his girlfriend, Remee Jo Lee, got pregnant, Welden faked a prescription for an abortion pill, switched a label so the medication appeared to be a common antibiotic, and gave her the drug. The drug did its job. The unborn baby died. Welden faces up to 15 years in prison at his sentencing hearing scheduled for Dec. 5.
A 24-year-old Wisconsin man was found guilty after pleading no contest to charges he punched a pregnant woman in the stomach to make her miscarry and then doused her with gasoline. According to the criminal complaint, Tyler Ress poured gas on Carrie Lynn Mayhone and then held a lighter near her, threatening to start her on fire. He punched Mayhone, who was pregnant, in the stomach several times, telling her he wanted to force her to abort the baby.
A Pennsylvania man is in police custody, charged with simple assault and other offenses after he allegedly threatened to cut the baby out of his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Police say that 29 year old James Lynch also allegedly dragged the three-months-pregnant woman down a flight of stairs, bruising her body. Lynch has also been charged with reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, burglary, robbery of a vehicle, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and harassment, according to court records.
In June of this year 26-year-old Ryan Timothy Reeves, was arrested and accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. According to the police report, Reeves told his girlfriend if she did not get an abortion, he would stomp on her stomach with his cowboy boots. Reeves has been charged with third-degree domestic assault and second-degree property damage.
Also in June, 21-year-old Carlton “CJ” Bryan, was arrested and accused of hiring a hit man to kill his pregnant girlfriend, Shamari Jenkins. Police believe the motive for the murder was over Jenkin’s decision not to have an abortion.
Mark Crutcher, President of Life Dynamics, Inc., a national pro-life organization located in Denton, Texas, has documented that violence inflicted on pregnant women by pro-choice men who want their pregnancy aborted is nothing new.
Life Dynamics has collected data on a large volume of these cases and compiled the data in a report entitled, “Under-the-Radar Violence in the Conflict Over Abortion.”
Crutcher asks, “What happens when men use abortion as a sort of safety net? What do they do when the woman they’ve impregnated won’t jump into the net?
Crutcher warns women, “If he’s going to be pro-choice about your baby, he might be pro-choice about you.”
The report points out that this kind of violence against women is not commonly reported by the media.
According to Crutcher, “In almost every incident in which women are told that they will be physically harmed unless they abort, they are going to comply, never tell anyone and, thus, fade into anonymity. For those who resist and end up on a stretcher or an autopsy table, they can expect to have their experiences hidden under a thick blanket of media deception. When we were able to obtain copies of police reports, indictments, court records or other similar documentation for these cases, they would almost universally show that when a perpetrator is confronted by an unwanted pregnancy, his first response is not violence but a demand that his partner have an abortion. When violence ensues, it is inevitably a reaction to her refusal to comply. However, the media’s coverage of these incidents often contains no mention of abortion. Instead, they either portray women who are attacked for refusing to have abortions as women who are attacked for getting pregnant, or they characterize the incident as one of simple “domestic violence” in which the victim’s pregnancy is basically inconsequential.”
Life Dynamics also documents that the abortion lobby is aware of how common this problem is:
Crutcher states, “Over the years, we have acquired tape recordings of National Abortion Federation (NAF) conventions in which discussions about women being forced to have abortions were held. The prevailing attitude expressed in these sessions may best be described as one of “convenient indifference.” Attendees will acknowledge the problem’s existence and talk about it in disapproving tones, while making it clear that they feel no obligation to let it influence the way they deal with these women. Their philosophical position seems to be that, even if a woman chooses to have an abortion she doesn’t want because of threats from others, it remains within the “pro-choice” purview since she was still the one who ultimately made the decision. In fact, on the NAF tapes mentioned above, some abortion clinic employees can be heard paraphrasing this very argument and using it to justify their habit of looking the other way. It is a truly bizarre rationalization analogous to saying that women who submit to sexual relations at the point of a gun are not really being raped since, technically, they are consenting.”
“At the clinic level, there are also two additional considerations. First, those who provide abortions have a financial interest in the woman’s decision. If she aborts a profit is made, if she doesn’t a profit is lost. This remains true whether free-will or force was driving her decision. The abortion industry may not approve of women being bludgeoned or killed for refusing to have abortions. But they have made it clear that they are willing to write-off these women as just collateral damage in the war to keep abortion legal.”
Crutcher concludes by pointing out that the early feminists who wrote the equal rights amendment were opposed to the legalization of abortion because of how it would ultimately affect women. “What these early feminist leaders understood is that legalized abortion does not advance the cause of womens’ equality but is, instead, a safety net for sexually predatory and sexually irresponsible males. They were warning that, in practice, legalized abortion would become a mechanism for these kinds of men to avoid any commitments to the women whose bodies they use or any responsibility for the children they father. Regrettably, that is what we see being played out in front of us today.”

San Diego Mayor Bob Filner 70, elected in November as San Diego’s first Democratic mayor in two decades, is hoping to ride out a tide of sexual misconduct accusations and demands by fellow politicians and others for him to resign.
Some 14 women have accused Filner of making unwanted sexual advances. One, former communications director Irene McCormack Jackson, has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit in San Diego County Superior Court seeking unspecified damages.
The accusations of the other 13 share a similar scenario: They met Filner at a public event or while asking for his help on a public issue and that he made sexually inappropriate comments, asked them for dates and in some cases kissed or touched them.
Pro-choice Planned Parenthood supporter Bill Clinton also endorsed this abuser of women:
Michelle Tyler said she arranged a meeting with the mayor, her Marine friend Katherine Ragazzino and an unidentified Veterans Administration representative.
Her attorney, Gloria Allred said that at the meeting, Filner seemed willing to help Tyler, “but at a price.”
She said the price was a “personal and sexual relationship” with the mayor.
“In other words, Mayor Filner wanted Ms. Tyler to help him fulfill his sexual needs if she wanted his help for a deserving war veteran,” Allred said. “That is not only disgusting, but a complete abuse of power that should not be tolerated by the electorate.”
Read complaint by Michelle Tyler here
Once the meeting wrapped up, Tyler said the mayor asked everyone but her to leave the room.
She claimed Filner started “rubbing my arm and telling me to relax … (it) was extremely inappropriate and unacceptable … I was not there looking for a date.”
Tyler said, “His help for Katherine depended on my willingness” to be with him and it was “absolutely unwanted.”
Tyler started to sob when she said Filner should not have used his position of power for making unwanted advances.
“It is wrong, and that is why I am speaking out today,” Tyler said.
“I don’t appreciate being used as a bargaining chip to be used to fulfill his sexual desires,” Ragazzino said.
And guess who endorsed Filner” – YUP – Tax Paid Planned Parenthood – the abortion and SEX promoter of the Nation!!!
Here is Planned Parenthood on Filner’s list of endorsements !
Recently Anthony Weiner announcedhe’s not dropping out of the New York City mayoral race despite new revelations that he sent additional lewd photos and text messages after he left Congress in disgrace for his prior online chats.
Weiner, who resigned his House seat in June 2011 after acknowledging having sexual conversations with at least a half-dozen women, told a hastily called news conference he would stay in the race despite the new onslaught of negative publicity.
“I’m sure many of my opponents would like me to drop out of the race but I’m not going to do it,” he said, adding, he hoped the people of New York were “willing to still continue to give me a second chance.”
Previous Video of Rep. Anthony Weiner resigning
His past resignation came on the heels of press conference from Porn star Ginger Lee who said Rep. Weiner sent sexual messages to her and believes he should step down.
Lee said she had begun corresponding with Weiner because she admired his advocacy on behalf of Planned Parenthood. (That’s just the kind of advocacy the organization needs.) Then she announced, “I think that Anthony Weiner should resign because he lied to the press and the public for more than a week.”
But- even Planned Parenthood warns against SEXTING! from their website:
How can I keep my messages private?
You can’t. There’s no such thing as sharing information only with a select group of friends online. Anyone can forward the information to others outside the group. It’s also easy to track down people through screen names, e-mail addresses, and other online profile information. And because it’s so easy for people to disguise who they are on social networking sites and on e-mail, you don’t always know who you’re really interacting with. So never post or send anything you wouldn’t want the whole world to see
Not to worry Weiner, Planned Parenthood would NEVER condom…I mean condemn you for any behavior involving sexting….because “Its Perfectly Normal“
But- we all know Planned Parenthood and their supporters HATE adult males sexting or impregnating underage girls, right????????
Read and listen to over 800 tapes here ( http://www.childpredators.com)
Perhaps the Weiner was sent at one of these these Planned Parenthood sex-promoting events:
Unfortunately- Planned Parenthood has a habit of joining with many unscrupulous characters, like their Klan Speaking Founder Margaret Sanger…
Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member in good standing with the racist American Eugenics Society. Sanger had board members who were known for their racist writing and Sanger published many of those in her publications. Sanger called for parents to have a QUOTE: LICENSE TO BREED controlled by people who believed in her eugenic philosophy. She wanted all would be parents to go before her eugenic boards to request a “PERMIT TO BREED“.
Margaret Sanger once said, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.” Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12
Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons and immoral‘ , to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”.
“ I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people. Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.”
Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger, 1950
In addition, Planned Parenthood’s top award is called the Margaret Sanger Award, despite the fact that Sanger was an admitted Klan speaker. This is what Sanger wrote in her autobiography, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366 Read it here http://library.lifedynamics.com//Autobiography/Chapter%2029.pdf)
