UNFPA and PP

According to the UNFPA’s press release, “On 30 May, UNFPA will announce a new project with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) that addresses the high unmet need for family planning among some of the world’s most marginalized populations, particularly in post-conflict countries and those in transition. UNFPA and IPPF will use their unique expertise to galvanize political commitment to help meet the need for family planning in 13 countries with some of the lowest contraceptive prevalence, including Bolivia, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Haiti, India, Myanmar, South Sudan and others. The initiative will boost advocacy and scale up voluntary family planning information and services in these countries, with an emphasis on young people and other vulnerable groups…We are excited about our project with IPPF which targets countries emerging from conflicts or natural disasters, where the need for sexual and reproductive health is the greatest.”

IPPF and UNFPA

IPPF – Planned Parenthood also announced the collaboration with UNFPA:

A new level of partnership was launched by UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) today at Women Deliver. It will bring a significant boost in investment to family planning services in 13 countries focusing on vulnerable groups, particularly in areas affected by natural disasters and conflict,

The initiative will contribute to fill the gap in health care infra-structure, boosting the quality of the health workforce and developing efficient family planning distribution systems, as well as ensuring affordable family planning supplies.

“Family planning has been at the heart of UNFPA’s work for more than 40 years, and partnerships like this one are key to ensuring that hard-to-reach and under-served populations, particularly women, girls and young people, get access to the reproductive health they need,” said UNFPA Executive Director, Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin. “We welcome this initiative and value our longstanding partnership with IPPF, considering its support for family planning and its substantial service delivery capacity.”

The combination of IPPF’s experience of service delivery and UNFPA’s strong country presence will help address the unmet need for voluntary contraception and increase political and financial support for voluntary family planning and sexual and reproductive health services at the national level.

Babatunde Ostimehin and Tewodros MelesseUNFPA’s Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin and IPPF”s Tewodros Melesse announcing the launch of a new partnership with UNFPA.

IPPF’s Director General, Tewodros Melesse, said: “Our 2 organizations have worked together over many years, and I’m proud that we can have a key joint role as we work towards the FP2020 goals. There cannot be meaningful development without sexual and reproductive health and rights. We’re the largest NGO dealing with these issues on the ground.”

Tewedros Melesse, Director-General for International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), announces his organization’s commitment to family planning at the London Summit on Family Planning on July 11, 2012.

Looks like the NSSM 200 plan is in motion again: In 1974, the National Security Council issued a document that was intended to outline official U.S. policies on world population. It was called the National Security Study Memorandum 200, or NSSM 200.

NSSM 200 2

One of its goals was to establish a strategy for reducing the populations of third-world countries so that the United States could have increased access to their natural resources, particularly minerals and metals. Among the conclusions of NSSM 200 was that, “no country has reduced its population growth without resorting to abortion.” The authors of NSSM 200 then identified three non-governmental agencies that would be funded to carry-out the government’s population-control agenda in the targeted countries. One of those agencies was Planned Parenthood.

On December 10, 1974, the United States National Security Council promulgated National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM-200), also called The Kissinger Report. This document explicitly laid out a detailed strategy by which the United States would aggressively promote population control in developing nations in order to regulate (or have better access to) the natural resources of these countries.

In order to protect U.S. commercial interests, NSSM-200 cited a number of factors that could interrupt the smooth flow of materials from lesser-developed countries, LDCs as it called them, to the United States, including a large population of anti-imperialist youth, who must, according to NSSM-200, be limited by population control. The document identified 13 nations by name that would be primary targets of U.S.-funded population control efforts.

According to NSSM-200, elements of the implementation of population control programs could include: a) the legalization of abortion; b) financial incentives for countries to increase their abortion, sterilization and contraception-use rates; c) indoctrination of children; and d) mandatory population control, and coercion of other forms, such as withholding disaster and food aid unless an LDC implements population control programs.

While the CIA and Departments of State and Defense have issued hundreds of papers on population control and national security, the U.S. government has never renounced NSSM-200, but has only amended certain portions of its policy. NSSM-200, therefore, remains the foundational document on population control issued by the United States government.

In 1969, Guttmacher as then President of Planned Parenthood-World Population, said this: “ I would like to give our voluntary means of population control full opportunity in the next 10 to 12 years. Then , if these don’t succeed, we may have to go into some kind of coercion, not worldwide, but possibly in such places as India, Pakistan, and Indonesia, where pressures are the greatest…There is no question that birth rates can be reduced all over the world if legal abortion is introduced…” ( SOURCE: Family Planning: The needa and the Methods, by: Alan F. Guttmacher; The American Journal of Nursing, Vol. 69, No. 6. (June, 1969) PP. 1229-1234)

And in February of 1970 Alan Guttmacher was interviewed by the Baltimore Magazine and said this
Our birth rate has come down since we last talked.. I think we’ve hit a plateau- the figure’s not likely to drop much more unless there is more legal abortion. , or abortion on request as we call it…My own feeling is that we’ve got to pull out all the stops and involve the United Nations…If you’re going to curb population, it’s extremely important not to have it done by the dammed Yankees, but by the UN. Because the thing is, then it’s not considered genocide. If the United States goes to the Black man or the yellow man and says slow down your reproduction rate, we’re immediately suspected of having ulterior motives to keep the white man dominant in the world. If you can send in a colorful UN force, you’ve got much better leverage.”

According to their website:
There is a critical need to change social norms regarding contraception and family planning among adolescents and young adults in Mexico. Even though Mexico has made strides in the last ten years on reducing the rates of teenage pregnancies, there are still barriers preventing young women from accessing contraceptives and family planning services. Furthermore, although teen pregnancy has been on the decline, there is still much work to be done to decrease teen pregnancies. Through Ultimo Año, PMC’s primary goal is to provide information, tools, and resources to stimulate social change and improve the overall health of Mexican adolescents and young adults.

Specific goals include:

• Reduce and prevent unintended/unwanted teen pregnancy
• Obtain knowledge about and consider reproductive health options ( Code for abortion )
• Prevent HIV/AIDS and other STIs
• Promote gender equality and discourage violence against women through role modeling
• Encourage youth to achieve success through education and positive life choices

William N. Ryerson, the Founder and President of Population Media Center, leads another organization with leadership in Planned Parenthood is PFIR, Progressives for Immigration Reform. Before founding Population Media Center, he served as Director of the Population Institute’s Youth and Student Division, Development Director of Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania, Associate Director of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, and Executive Vice President of Population Communications International.As a graduate student, he was Founder and first Chairperson of the Yale Chapter of Zero Population Growth (ZPG).

Ryerson also has connections to an anti-immigration organization called: Californians for Population Stabilization or (CAPS). In addition to his connections to Planned Parenthood, CAPS’ 2009 annual report mentions a Board Member, Executive-at-Large:

PMC’s mission is to collaborate with the mass media and other organizations worldwide to:

Bring about stabilization of human population numbers at a level that can be sustained by the world’s natural resources

Population Media Center teams up with other groups like Pathfinder International Some of their funders have experimented on Hispanics. Frederic Osborn was a founding member of the American Eugenics Society and co-founder of the Population Council along with John D. Rockefeller. In 1969, the Population Council’s President, Bernard Berelson, published an article suggesting that if voluntary methods of birth control were not successful, it may become necessary for the government to put a “fertility control agent” in the water supplies of “urban” neighborhoods.

Pro-abortion computer game to encourage Mexican women to abort themselves

notebaja

Abortion Game Encourages Women to self abort.

¿No Te Baja? which translates as Missed Your Period? is a “Choose Your Own Adventure”-style game that schools Mexican Women on how to terminate a pregnancy using Misoprostol or other abortion pills. Abortion is illegal in parts of Mexico.

According to the radically pro-abortion RH Reality Check, No Te Baja is thorough, relateable, and easy to use:
Users of No Te Baja, through the actions of Claudia and her boyfriend, go through each detailed step of the process of self-administering a medication abortion: from the initial pregnancy test to the decision whether or not to involve the partner; the signs and symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy to calculating gestational age to indicate whether or not use of Misoprostol will be effective-and if it will be safe to self-administer.
The game advises that Misoprostol can be purchased in most pharmacies and that it may be sold under various other commercial names including Cytotec, Cyrox, and Tomispral. Users receive detailed information on how to administer Misoprostol through the mouth or the vagina, noting that, in the event of having to seek medical attention, medical personnel would likely be able to detect the remnants of the pills inside the vagina- important information for women living in areas where they can be prosecuted for inducing an abortion.

notebaja ipas

The computer game designed by Ipas Mexico . According to IPAS:

The game, When prevention fails: How to terminate a pregnancy with drugs, is available only in Spanish and presents the story of Claudia and Pedro, a young couple facing an unwanted pregnancy. Through their narrative, the game poses questions that lead users to information about pregnancy identification, estimating gestational age, and pregnancy options including the use of misoprostol for abortion. This interactive tool was developed by and for young people and caters to the preference youth often have for confidential and private information related to sexuality and pregnancy.

“We had guidance material about medical abortion that was geared toward health-care workers, but we still needed material for youth that explained in non-technical terms how to use misoprostol,” explains Maria Elena Collado, Ipas Mexico community access associate. “This is why we decided to use new technologies to develop information specifically for and with young people.” Ipas has disseminated the game as a CD-ROM.

While first-trimester abortion has been legal in Mexico City since April 2007, it is still highly restricted in the country’s 31 states, putting young women between 15 and 29 years of age—who comprise the largest age group seeking abortion services—at increased risk of unsafe abortion. Misoprostol is widely available in pharmacies across Mexico, and women know it can be used to safely terminate a pregnancy, but many pharmacy workers lack knowledge of the correct dosing regimens and don’t have the time or skills to advise women on how to use the drug correctly. Without a source of reliable information, women are in danger of buying the wrong pills (counterfeit pills are widespread), taking the wrong dose, or not knowing when to seek medical assistance or follow-up care.

How the “Game” works:

As users answer questions, they are prompted with further questions and led through various scenarios depending on their decisions at each juncture. First, the game helps women identify their stage of pregnancy. If they are nine weeks pregnant or less, then they are able to choose between options including medical abortion and other pregnancy termination services. If a woman chooses medical abortion, she is then provided accurate dosage information and instructions on how to use misoprostol.

IPAS’s board is made up of a Hodge podge of left-wing pro-abortion minded people including Deborah De Witt who is a member of the board of directors for the Guttmacher Institute , the research arm of Planned Parenthood. Jemima Dennis-Antwi, also on the board, serves as technical adviser for the Population Council.

Alan Guttmacher , who was also a Vice President for the American Eugenics Society, VP of Planned Parenthood and President and Founder of the Guttmacher Institute said this in 1967- “… I would abort mothers already carrying three or more children…I would abort women who desire abortion who are drug addicts or severe alcoholics…I would abort women with sub-normal mentality incapable of providing satisfactory parental care…”
(Source; “Abortion: The Issues”, Dr. Alan Guttmacher – President, Planned Parenthood, December 4, 1967, Harvard Law School Forum)

In 1969, Alan Guttmacher as then President of Planned Parenthood-World Population, said this: “ I would like to give our voluntary means of population control full opportunity in the next 10 to 12 years. UNFPA: Family Planning a Human Right ! Can you say Eugenic Population Control?

Posted in Bill Gates, Sex selection abortion, UNFPA, United Nations with tags , , , , , , , , , , on November 15, 2012 by saynsumthn

The world economy would be boosted by billions of dollars if all women had access to contraception, the United Nations said on Wednesday in its annual State of World Population report.

The report said inadequate family planning in developing countries contributed significantly to poverty and ill health, and that $5.7 billion could be saved by preventing unintended pregnancies and unsafe abortions.

Eugenics Attitude:

In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson stated in a speech, that every five dollars the government spent on population control was worth more than a hundred dollars invested in economic growth. In 1966, Johnson accepted Planned Parenthood’s highest award (the Margaret Sanger Award) for his policies pushing family planning on foreign countries. (Sanger founded Planned Parenthood, was a racist member of the American Eugenics Society who admitted she gave a Klan Speech)

Johnson was a staunch supporter of the racist /eugenics founded Planned Parenthood organization. Here (LBJ) Lyndon B. Johnson accepts the Margaret Sanger Award and it is mentioned that Dwight D. Eisenhower and Harry S. Truman are co-chairs of a Planned Parenthood honorary council- here

This clip from the documentary MAAFA21 shows how saying that Family Planning reduces “Costs” is a Scheme by the Elite to force population control:

“FAMILY PLANNING [ in poor countries] A RIGHT”

Family planning is not a privilege, but a right. Yet, too many women — and men — are denied this human right,” said Babatunde Osotimehin, executive director of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA).

“The data that we have shows that access to family planning unlocks unprecedented rewards, both at the individual and national level,” the former Nigerian health minister told a press conference in London.

“Women who have access to family planning can contribute enormously to economic development. The accumulated effect of these highly personal decisions can influence entire countries and regions.”

H/T Catholic Online

The United Nation’s Population Fund’s (UNFPA) Annual Report published on November 14, 2012, is entitled “By Choice, Not by Chance: Family Planning, Human Rights and Development,” Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, the executive director of the fund, described family planning-which is code for artificial contraception-as a universal human right.

“Family planning is a human right,” wrote Dr. Osotimehin. “It must therefore be available to all who want it. But clearly this right has not yet been extended to all, especially in the poorest countries. Obstacles remain. Some have to do with the quality and availability of supplies and services, but many others have to do with economic circumstances and social constraints.”

Dr. Osotimehin seeks to spend an extra $4.1 billion a year to make family planning available to anyone who wants it. “Family planning is still more akin to a privilege enjoyed by some rather than a universal right exercised by all.”

Written on Page 3 of the document is this astounding statement:

Reproductive rights encompass both freedoms and entitlements involving civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights. The right to decide the number and spacing of children is integral to the reproductive rights framework and is therefore directly related to other basic human rights, including:
The right to life;
• The right to liberty and security of person;
• The right to health, including sexual and reproductive health;
• The right to consent to marriage and to equality in marriage;
• The right to privacy;
• The right to equality and non-discrimination;
• The right not to be subjected to torture or other cruel, inhuman, or
degrading treatment or punishment;
• The right to education, including access to sexuality education;
• The right to participate in the conduct of public affairs and the right to
free, active and meaningful participation;
• The right to seek, impart and receive information and to have freedom
of expression;
• The right to benefit from scientific progress

The so-called “RIGHT to LIFE” is often denied under the “Reproductive Rights” agenda, which includes Emergency Contraception and Abortion.

In April of 2012, IPPF ( International Planned Parenthood Federation) held a luncheon where the UNFPA leader spoke. According to IPPF, Dr. Osotimehin stated that universal access to sexual and reproductive health remains an urgent challenge and that youth need safe spaces to express themselves. He spoke about the positive impact investments in girls has on global development and explained that comprehensive sexuality education not only helps youth make informed decisions about their personal well being; it also improves the lives of everyone in their community.

World leaders to meet in London in July to pour cash into family planning in the developing world

The Guardian is reported that A major summit was planned for July that aimed to pour money into family planning in the developing world after almost two decades of neglect, particularly during the Bush years.

Parallel to this, millions of dollars are being spent by the Gates Foundation on developing more efficient forms of contraception, particularly injections that might only be required once every six months or annually.

The executive director of the UN Population Fund, Babatunde Osotimehin, in an interview with the Guardian, described proposals at the summit to turn family planning into a global movement as “transformational”.

It was organized by none other than the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the British government’s department for international development (DFID). Between 20 and 25 countries are scheduled to attend, including the US, India, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Tanzania.

The aim of the summit was to provide better family planning in 69 of the poorest countries with low rates of contraception. Much of the $4bn will come from the health budgets of these countries, with the rest coming from the Gates Foundation, DFID and other countries.

Osotimehin said: “It is about global planning … what will it take to provide these facilities to women and girls around the world and actually change the course of their lives. That is what will make it transformational.”

Bill Gates and Planned Parenthood:

GATES: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it’s fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that.
My mom was on the United Way group that decides how to allocate the money and looks at all the different charities and makes the very hard decisions about where that pool of funds is going to go. So I always knew there was something about really educating people and giving them choices in terms of family size.

While the CIA and Departments of State and Defense have issued hundreds of papers on population control and national security, the U.S. government has never renounced NSSM-200, but has only amended certain portions of its policy. NSSM-200, therefore, remains the foundational document on population control issued by the United States government.

Kenyans did NOT Want abortion legalized. The United States forced it on them under NSSM reasons – In fact, when they stood against the legalization, they were bombed: A peaceful anti-constitution protest and prayer service on June 13, 2010 turned violent when two bombs exploded, killing six people and injuring over 100 more, according to Kenyan newspaper The Standard.

Not only were opponents being bombed, their leaders were being arrested. Three members of the Kenyan parliament were taken into custody on June 16 on charges of alleged hate speech relating to their prominent leadership in opposing the new constitution.

Three other members of parliament were also accused of hate speech, including Higher Education Minister William Ruto, widely seen as a leader in the campaign against the new pro-abortion constitution. The Obama administration offered “incentives” to Kenya to approve the pro-abortion constitution legalizing abortion for the first time, promising that passage will “allow money to flow” into the nation’s coffers, including U.S. aid. The pressure worked and Kenya passed it.

This is about POPULATION CONTROL – Increasing abortions in African nations is part of the NSSM200 plan.

Simply listen to the words ex Planned Parenthood President, Alan Guttmacher told a symposium at the University of California Medical Center in 1966 he stated that, “the belief that the white middle class was coercing their own poor and people with black and yellow skins to reduce family size because the middle-class whites are frightened of being outnumbered.”

The only way the mounting feeling that birth control is a tool of racism can be handled, is to involve knowledgeable leaders from the minority groups who understand and are favorable to the philosophy of birth control. They, in turn, must translate their appreciation of the contribution which birth control can make toward family stability to their own people.” (SOURCE: New York Times: Doctor blames his profession for delays on Family Planning: 1/16/1966)

Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member in good standing with the racist American Eugenics Society. Sanger had boards members who were known for their racist writing and Sanger published many of those in her publications. Sanger called for parents to have a QUOTE: LICENSE TO BREED controlled by people who believed in her eugenic philosophy. She wanted all would be parents to go before her eugenic boards to request a “PERMIT TO BREED“.

Margaret Sanger once said, “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief aim of birth control.” Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

In Margaret Sanger’s, “Birth Control and Racial Betterment,” Feb 1919. Birth Control Review , Library of Congress Microfilm 131:0099B .
Sanger states, “Before eugenists and others who are laboring for racial betterment can succeed, they must first clear the way for Birth Control. Like the advocates of Birth Control, the eugenists, for instance, are seeking to assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit. Both are seeking a single end but they lay emphasis upon different methods.

Eugenists emphasize the mating of healthy couples for the conscious purpose of producing healthy children, the sterilization of the unfit to prevent their populating the world with their kind and they may, perhaps, agree with us that contraception is a necessary measure among the masses of the workers, where wages do not keep pace with the growth of the family and its necessities in the way of food, clothing, housing, medical attention, education and the like.

We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the unfit but upon stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health.While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfitEugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit…

Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons and immoral‘ , to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”.

I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people. Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.
Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger, 1950

In addition, Planned Parenthood’s top award is called the Margaret Sanger Award, despite the fact that Sanger was an admitted Klan speaker. This is what Sanger wrote in her autobiography, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)
