The radical pro-abortion group, Stop Patriarchy, which claims to be a revolutionary / communist organization is planning to converge in Jackson, Mississippi after causing havoc in several other cities this month.

Their goal – to defend the last remaining abortion clinic in the state.

Despite their faux rhetoric that when abortion is illegal, women die, Stop Patriarchy is planning to support Diane Derzis who owns Jackson Women’s Health Organization abortion clinic despite her abysmal record of care.

NWAL Dangerous Filthy

Derzis’ Birmingham, Alabama abortion clinic was closed after a 76-page health deficiency report and several women were rushed out of her facility by ambulance due to her alleged “care.”

Stop Patriarchy has defended this abortion mill before, after all, when you are pro-abortion you really don’t care about life or the women entering these shoddy facilities.

The group has planned weekly activities throughout the summer which they detail on their Facebook page.

Stop Patriarchy July protest

Here is what they write about the Mississippi protest:

WEEKEND OF JULY 25-26: Die-in for Abortion Rights. Street theater with bloody pants, bloody coat hangers and the pictures of women who died from illegal abortion. Get out Abortion Rights Fact Sheets and calls to come to Jackson, Mississippi in August to fight for abortion rights at the last clinic in the state. Hold send-off dinners and events for volunteers traveling to the last abortion clinic in Mississippi.

    JULY 31 – AUGUST 9:
Join Stop Patriarchy in Jackson, Mississippi!
We will boldly take out the full mission of Stop Patriarchy throughout the city of Jackson, stirring and drawing new people into the fight against all forms of female enslavement. And we will join with organizers in the area to build support for the last abortion clinic in the state, the Jackson Women’s Health Organization, and to build support for Abortion On Demand and Without Apology!

Sadly, despite the fact that many women still die from legal abortion and abortion workers sexually abuse women inside legal abortion facilities, Stop Patriarchy has included abortion restrictions in their “War on Women” displays.

While there are some issues we would agree, such as the devastation porn has on women or speaking out against so-called “honor killings”, and rape, this radical group has also included “Church” and “anti-abortion” in their “war on women boots” display. A ridiculous claim since the majority of pro-lifers ARE women and many of them have denounced abortion as harmful to women.

Members of the radical pro-abortion group, Stop Patriarchy, which claims to be a revolutionary / communist organization were arrested this week in Seattle.

According to Stop Patriarchy, seven of their pro-choice demonstrators were arrested after they blocked traffic in WestLake Park, Seattle.

The radical pro-choice protesters blocked traffic on a main street in the city yelling, “Abortion is not murder” and “Fetuses are not babies.

Wearing their typical bloodied garb and waving the pro-choice symbol of a bloody coat hanger, the communists chanted, “Without this basic right women can’t be free- abortion on demand and without apology.”

Their illegal actions angered several people who got out of their vehicles to scream at the radical group.

Stop Patriarchy wrote how the crowd opposed their activity:

There was anger from some, some people even getting out of their cars to confront us in a direct way and tell us to move, some saying that they were pro-choice, but thought we were wrong to take the street the way we did. One man droned on saying “Abortion is murder. You’re all a bunch of whores.” Another wove through the crowd, yelling at us: “Abortion is legal, abortion is legal,” attempting to downplay the emergency and to therefore argue that we were acting in too extreme of a fashion. Some raised the idea that Seattle is just fine about abortion rights and access, that because this city is more progressive or enlightened, we have nothing to worry about.

These notions are wrong and harmful, and further underscore the necessity to forge ahead with this kind of resistance! First of all, Seattle and all other areas that people consider to be more progressive actually are under assault. At abortion clinics in Seattle, the anti’s come to harass women going into abortion clinics—calling them murderers and making them feel ashamed and isolated—and terrorize clinic staff. Then there are fake clinics posing sham “alternatives” to abortion, which is to say they will try to convince women that they shouldn’t get an abortion. The anti-abortion movement has also made big strides in switching the terms of this battle to be about “babies” and the “murder of babies” to the point where even those that call themselves pro-choice think of abortion as tragic or as if it is “justifiable homicide.” This logic is deadly wrong! The battle around abortion has never been about “babies” it has always been about patriarchal control over women, and abortion is NOT murder! Fetuses are NOT babies, abortion is NOT murder, and women are NOT incubators!

Stop Patriarchy also demonstrated in Union Square in New York where, according to their own leader, a Black man opposed them because of their abortion stance.

From Sunsara Taylor, the leader behind Stop Patriarchy:

The controversy began even before we set up. As we pulled on bloodstained pants to represent the countless women who have died for lack of legal abortions and unpacked our bright orange “Abortion On Demand and Without Apology!” signs, an older Black man began screaming that we were “murderers.” In moments we were thick into debate in front of a growing crowd, with people joining in on both sides. As the man condemned women for having sex if they don’t want babies, I broke down the science behind the fact that fetuses are not babies, abortion is not murder and women are not incubators. I flipped the script on him by making clear that the real crime is forcing women to have children against their will, that is a form of enslavement.

The revolutionary abortion group also took their anger to a church in San Francisco calling them Christian fascists. (here)

These reproductive rights communists raised havoc earlier this year in calls to “Ferguson” places where Black pro-lifers gathered.

They were arrested in a failed attempt to stop the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. (here)

One of their members was even caught using a racial slur against the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) during a protest a few months ago. (here).

The group plans to converge in Jackson, Mississippi next.

Pro-choice bigot disrespects Jesus/Christianity over Hobby Lobby case

Posted in Anti-Christian Bigotry, Pro-choice mocking, Pro-choice People, Pro-choice protest church with tags , , , , , on January 12, 2015 by saynsumthn

This past summer, Toronto comedian Megan MacKay, uploaded a mockery video of Christians she called the, “Hobby Lobby Makeup Tutorial.”

This closely held corporation called Hobby Lobby which is a craft store company,” she begins, “recently went to the Supreme Court and said,’ We don’t want to have to pay for a woman’s contraception because we are Christian and we don’ believe in that and the Supreme County said ‘sure…”

Capture2

We could certainly debate her analysis of the Hobby Lobby case and what it was about another time. For this blog, we are pointing out MacKay’s outright disrespect of Christianity and specifically Jesus, something those who support abortion tend to do quite often.

She continues, “So, in light of the recent ruling in the Supreme Court…I thought we’d do a really cool makeup tutorial that’s a new “Christian extremist make-up look.”

Capture3

“Obviously, this isn’t for all Christians. Most Christians prefer a more subtle, loving look on their face? But, for the 1% of Christians who identify as Christian extremists this is the look for you. Hold onto your hats, because we’re going on a wild ride. It’s going to bring you to close to Jesus.”

Capture4

She begins by suggesting “Christians” take a prenatal vitamin because “you’re gonna get pregnant -because – you’re gonna. You know what they say, use your womb to help Jesus out of the tomb,” she says.

No Megan, what do “they” say? As a Christian since a young girl, I have NEVER heard that little cliche. Maybe you need to add some “concealer” to YOUR routine, so you are not so OBVIOUS in your anti-Christian bigotry. Just my little make-up tip….

Capture

MacKay spends the rest of the video speaking disrespectfully about Christianity and specifically Jesus.

To mock the 1% of Christians she claims she is referring to – she has no problem despairing the Lord who bled on the cross for the sins of the 99% of Christians she is also insulting.

Case in point, Megan MacKay ends her little mockery vid by suggesting the right “subtle” lipstick color because, she says,”Jesus might want to make out with you- but- closed mouth only” until she ends with “Jesus Loves Crafts” painted on her face:

Note to Megan MacKay- NOT FUNNY!

Abortion advocates protesting Catholic Cathedral, Pro-life Pregnancy Center and Pro-life Chalk Day

Abortion advocates are planning protests in front of a Catholic Church in the Houston, Texas area.

Now Houston Protest Church 02524029623_n

Their “Red Mass Protest” Facebook page reads,” Come protest the Catholic Church’s efforts to use the courts to impose their religious views on others under the guise of “religious liberty.” Show your support for birth control, abortion rights, marriage equality, anti-discrimination laws, and separation of church and state.”

Red Mass Protest

The event is hosted by Houston’s National Organization for [some] Women (NOW ) and is slated to take place on October 21 at 5:45pm Outside the Co-Cathedral at 1111 St. Joseph’s Parkway in Houston.

Houston NOW protest a chuch

NOW writes on their Facbook page, “The Catholic Church celebrates a “Red Mass” annually in recognition of the start of the judicial calendar throughout the United States. Judges, lawyers, law students and others in the legal profession are the targets of this event and are specifically invited to attend. In recent years the Church has used it as an occasion to push their judicial agenda of opposition to birth control, abortion, and gay marriage. Many members of the Supreme Court have attended the DC “Red Mass” in the past and likely a number of them will be at the DC mass this year. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg attended soon after she was appointed to the court and said afterwards that she would never go again because the occasion was being used to push the Church’s position on issues pending or likely to be pending before the Courts.

“Come protest the Catholic Church’s efforts to use the courts to impose their religious views on others under the guise of “religious liberty.” Show your support for birth control, abortion rights, marriage equality, anti-discrimination laws, and separation of church and state.”

In August, the radical pro abortion rights group, Stop Patriarchy protested in front of San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio.

Meanwhile- Houston pro-choice advocates are planning protests of Crisis Pregnancy Centers as well:

According to their Facebook post, “Poppy Northcutt of Houston NOW is looking for volunteers to protest fake pregnancy help centers, particularly the Fifth Ward Pregnancy Help Center (743 Shotwell St, Houston, TX 77020; http://goo.gl/maps/8TOjs). They seem to have the most appointments of all the Christian anti-abortion clinics. (For more information on “pregnancy help centers”, check this page out: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-info/pregnancy/crisis-pregnancy-centers.) The majority of their appointments seem to be on Thursdays between 9am and 9 pm, so Poppy tells me that’s the best time to come out. If we can get two volunteers, at least one person who is not male-identified, that would be ideal. One person would have a sign saying something like “religion is practiced here, not medicine”, and the other (the non-male-identified person) would talk to people as they walked in and give them brochures. Poppy says they already have signs and brochures, and she’s looking to start next week.

Prochoice Protest of 5 th ward

The continue, “Also, another activist opportunity from Poppy: “Thursday, Oct. 2 is “National Pro-Life Chalk Day” where students are urged to put out anti-abortion chalk messages especially on college campuses. Anyone interested in chalking a couple of our local fake clinics with some fake clinic messages early that morning before they open? Both the CPC on San Jacinto and the one off Lockwood have some nice public sidewalk space. A special treat is that from my observations Thursdays are a busy day at the CPC off Lockwood. http://nationalprolifechalkday.com/

She then leaves a way to contact her, “Please let me and/or Poppy (https://m.facebook.com/poppy.northcutt) know if you’re interested!”

My Guess is that he Fifth Ward PHC or the churches being targeted could use some pro-life help…..maybe some of those reading this blog could offer it….
