Abortion business Planned Parenthood is on the short list of a New York School District plan to take “parents and/or students” on a field trip to, “local/regional facilities that provide social/emotional well-being services.” The information comes out of the Lyme Central School District’s “Strategic Plan for 2018-2023.” Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the US, which has been caught covering for child sexual abusers time and again, is hardly a suitable place for a student to obtain “social/emotional well-being services.”

A section heading called, “Target: Health and Wellness, Strategic Issue: Social/Emotional Awareness
Goal #1: Educate stakeholders regarding resources available to address the social-emotional needs of students,” shows that Planned Parenthood is on the field trip list, along with a local hospital and children’s home among others.

Lyme Central School District is located at 11868 Academy Street Chaumont, NY and provides quality education for grades K through 12 for the community of Chaumont. The goals created by the district include improved student learning with an emphasis on using the advantage of the districts small size to track the progress, needs, and success of each student, strong instructional leadership, a strong, coherent, and functional organizational structure, an emphasis on professionalism and ethical behavior, high standards of accountability, establishment of the district as a significant community recourse, and improved communication.
District curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.
The School District is led by Superintendent Cammy J. Morrison and several Board members who apparently approve of the Planned Parenthood field trip idea.

The document published by the District states that the Board, “[W]ill serve in partnership with all District Stakeholders (community, administration and staff) pledging to provide the oversight and resources necessary for the District’s administration and staff to address the identified strategic issues, monitor progress and demonstrate the achievement of strategic goals as articulated within the Strategic Plan.”

By their own admission, Planned Parenthood despite their record of abuse and disregard for the sanctity of life is, “the nation’s largest provider of sex education” in the United States, allegedly reaching “1.5 million individuals each year, and 64% of those individuals are middle school and high school aged youth.”

The organization’s last annual report (2016-2017) reveals expenses of $47.9 million for sex education. Planned Parenthood reports that:
In 2010, 18 Planned Parenthood affiliates were awarded federal grants or were part of winning grants as subcontractors, totaling nearly $22 million per year for five years. In 2015, 21 Planned Parenthood affiliates were awarded federal grants or were part of winning grants as subcontractors. Among those awardees that were lead grantees (3 affiliates), their grants totaled over 5.5 million dollars per year over five years.
According to a report by Live Action News, under sexual education programs, Planned Parenthood has been infuriating other schools in the state:
The nation’s number one abortion chain has quietly infiltrated yet another public school district. School board members in Niagara Falls, New York, approved a new sex education curriculum last month that allows Planned Parenthood’s sex education curriculum into its public school classrooms. With a late December vote, the board approved the quick implementation of its Healthy Behavior Program and the Be Proud! Be Responsible! sex education curriculum.
While Schenectady, NY, where Planned Parenthood has already landed in a mud pile of controversy, is across the state from Niagara Falls, the two school systems seem to have much in common.
The Live Action News report goes on to note that, “Planned Parenthood isn’t exactly known for dispensing great and healthy sexual advice to teens. In a Live Action investigation, undercover investigators found Planned Parenthood employees encouraging teens to try risky sexual practices like accessing porn and participating in BDSM”
NY State law sets health education requirements for all students in grades K-12. The State’s 2016 youth sexual health plan lists Planned Parenthood under “reference and resource.” And, according to the New York City Department of Education, “New York City law requires that middle and high school students have sexual health education lessons as part of their Health Education classes.”
The Lyme Central School District plan is posted on the District’s website, but it is unclear if parents have been made aware that School leaders may expose students to Planned Parenthood on a possible field trip.
