Yes, Planned Parenthood’s founder spoke to the Klan – but the photo is a fake

With the topic of America’s history in racism once again a focus in the news, a fake image of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger speaking to the Klu Klux Klan has been circulating online. While the image is not real, what is quite real is the fact that Sanger, a proponent of eugenics, spoke to a meeting of the women’s branch of KKK in 1926.

The event took place in Silver Lake, New Jersey, and Sanger described in it in her autobiography:

I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…. I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…. I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…. In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered. (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

Sanger called that event “one of the weirdest experiences I had in lecturing.”

That being said, the image below, which purports to show Sanger giving that speech before her adoring Klan supporters is not authentic. The image was part of a blogger’s photo contest.

Photo of Margaret Sanger W/ KKK is fake

Sanger and Klan image was part of blog photo contest in 2005 — it is not authentic.

The Sanger/Klan fake was published by the “Margaret Sanger Blog Spot” which held an annual photo contest because, in the blog’s words, “The Big Abortion Industry still holds Margaret Sanger out as an icon. Artwork is one more important ways to promote the truth about Margaret Sanger.”

The blog’s instructions for the contest were to “commemorate Sanger at the Klan rally in unique artistic ways,” including “modern interpretations of Sanger speaking to the Klan.”

But Sanger’s views were so outrageous in and of themselves that there is no need to circulate inaccurate depictions, which could lead to attempts to discredit her meeting with the Klan altogether.

Sanger has a very controversial history as an enthusiastic proponent of eugenics and a member of the American Eugenics Society. This philosophy not only fed her work within the Planned Parenthood movement, but her lesser known advocacy of euthanasia as well. The organizations Sanger founded, such as The American Birth Control League (ABCL) and later, Planned Parenthood, also have ties to many eugenics proponents.

Clarence Cook Little

Clarence C. Little

One of those connections was a man by the name of Clarence Cook Little.

According to a biographical memoir published by the National Academy of Sciences, Little held various distinguished positions. He was the president of the University of Maine and of the University of Michigan, and he was the managing director of the American Society for the Control of Cancer.

He was named the director of The Jackson Laboratory and later accepted a position as scientific director of the Tobacco Industrial Research Committee. He was also a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences.

Sadly, Little was also president and founding member of The American Eugenics Society, as well as a board member of Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League. He was also the Birth Control Federation President, and sat on the previously mentioned American Euthanasia Society board.

Little was also listed on the 1938 Committee for Planned Parenthood.

CC Little ties to Eugenics and Sanger’s ABCL

Little has since been denounced by some in modern society who have called for his name to be removed from the University of Michigan’s science building for his belief in eugenics. An op-ed penned by the daughter of an interracial couple and a student at the University of Michigan published last year by MTV.com shows the disdain for Little:

There is a building (and a bus stop) on the University of Michigan campus named for Clarence Cook (C.C.) Little. He was the University’s president in 1925, and an outspoken “scientific” racist and eugenicist, who believed that “inferior” races should undergo involuntary sterilization. I often sat at the bus stop bearing his name while I waited to go to class. Little would have hated that.

Despite the merit of these denouncements, few have expressed concern over Little’s ties to Planned Parenthood’s history.

Hilda Cornish

Another interesting eugenics connection to both Sanger and Planned Parenthood is a woman by the name of Hilda Kahlert Cornish. Hilda Cornish chaired the Arkansas Eugenics Association. According to a 1986 article in an Arkansas newspaper, Cornish received much of her counsel directly from Margaret Sanger. In fact, the Blytheville Courier Press notes that the sons of the two leaders were roommates at Yale University.

The documentary film on eugenics, Maafa21 (clipped below) details disturbing connections the Arkansas Eugenics Association had to Planned Parenthood:

The film states:

From its beginning, Planned Parenthood always had powerful ties to the American Eugenics community. In fact, in many places they were often one in the same.

For example, when the first birth control clinic was opened in Arkansas, it was operated by the Arkansas Eugenics Association and overseen by a woman named Hilda Cornish.

Later, the Arkansas Eugenics Association would become the Arkansas State Affiliate of Planned Parenthood and Cornish would be named its executive director.

Documents obtained by Live Action News confirm this fact.

A 1945 Planned Parenthood directory reveals that Mrs. Edward Cornish was the director of the Planned Parenthood Association of Arkansas. Cornish was active with the Democrat Party and married to banker Edward Cornish, according to Arkansas historians.

She is also listed as a member of the American Eugenics Society.

According to the Encyclopedia of Arkansas:

In the summer of 1930, [Cornish] met Margaret Sanger… The two developed a friendship maintained by correspondence and occasional meetings. During that summer, Cornish visited Sanger’s Clinical Research Bureau in New York, and she launched the Arkansas birth control movement later that same year.

At Cornish’s initiative, a group of physicians, business and religious leaders, and women active in civic work formed the Arkansas Eugenics Association (AEA)…. In early 1931, the association opened the Little Rock Birth Control Clinic in the basement of Baptist Hospital…. Cornish also worked with the National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control.

The online historical site added that in 1942, The Arkansas Eugenics Association changed its name… to the Planned Parenthood Association of Arkansas.

Segregated Clinics

Authors of the bookHidden Histories of Women in the New South, noted that the “first report of the Arkansas Eugenics Association stated that the Little Rock clinic registered 161 White women during its first eleven months of service.”

The book concludes that Cornish was more aligned with promoting birth control than the national eugenics movement. (That being said, Sanger herself wanted to merge her publications with the national eugenics organization.)

The book‘s authors reveal that the clinic “directed its efforts towards poor women only,” yet they imply a prejudice against Blacks by writing that “African American women were not invited to the [Arkansas Eugenics] clinic from its start in 1931.”

www.AbortionProcedures.com click here for facts on abortion

The authors add that “until 1937, only white women actually had the opportunity to receive services” and the organization “held separate hours for white and African American women.” The book also notes that “most of [the American Birth Control League’s] clinics were segregated.” The ABCL later changed its name to Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood’s beloved founder Margaret Sanger reached out to many people who saw Blacks as less than equal, and this includes the Klan and the Eugenics movement.

Today, many believe that Sanger’s racist ideologies have penetrated much of her work. And even without an image to document Sanger’s speech before the Klan, Planned Parenthood knows her history, as revealed in her own autobiography.

Instead of repudiating Sanger, taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood honors her as a hero, naming their most prestigious award after her. It’s despicable.

Pro-lifers must take truth of Planned Parenthood to the public

Posted in Carole OpEd, Center for Medical Progress, Planned Parenthood Maggie Awards with tags , , , , , , , , , , on November 8, 2015 by saynsumthn

If you are like me and have been watching the horrific undercover videos on Planned Parenthood you are asking yourself, how much more does the public need to know to oppose this monstrosity? Sadly, the answer to that question depends on who you are. To the pro-life crowd you don’t need one more piece of evidence to shut Planned Parenthood down permanently and prosecute them for crimes against humanity. But to the die hard abortion advocates it would appear that little will persuade them against this evil. However, if you are an average American relying on the news media for truth, you may not even know yet that there ever was an undercover sting.

PP Bodies R US

As someone who has researched Planned Parenthood from it’s conception, one thing they have relied upon is the ignorance of the public. And, as a result, there are few storms this deceitful organization has not weathered well. In their early days, founder Margaret Sanger along with many of her board members openly advocated eugenics. Some ague that eugenics was simply the “culture in that day” but I contend that Sanger knew full well what she was pushing and who it targeted. And, the absolute horror of Sanger’s agenda has become even more apparent as research continues to unfold just how evil eugenics was. Victims of eugenics number in the thousands as so-called “feebleminded,” mostly Blacks, were targeted for forced sterilization under that program.

Research on the topic has revealed that eugenics was the exact same philosophy that led Hitler’s Nazi regime in Germany into it’s dark days of the Holocaust, horrifying the American public. At this time, Sanger and her board, who had organized under the name “American Birth Control League” began to discern that open promotion of eugenics may not be in the best interest of their overall agenda. This led to a change in the organization’s name from the American Birth Control League to Planned Parenthood,a much less sinister sounding name.

But, if eugenics did not scare the American public away, neither would the organization’s decision to start doing abortions. Sanger’s followers in her Planned Parenthood movement understood that forced sterilization eugenics programs were beginning to be opposed in the courts. Their agenda of limiting the births of the so-called “unfit” was threatened unless of course they embraced abortion. For those asking “didn’t Planned Parenthood always do abortions” the answer is no. It is a little known fact that Margaret Sanger herself did not advocate for abortion, in fact, she called abortion the killing of a “baby after it has begun.” But, when Sanger’s more permanent eugenic sterilization solutions towards a “race of thoroughbreds” was opposed the organization turned to abortion, and ironically, in a cunning PR move, they chose a Black chairman to introduce it. But, that is another story for another day which you can read in more detail here.

margaret-sanger-and-autobiography

The majority of the American public has little knowledge of Planned Parenthood’s beginning days, especially how their founder, Margaret Sanger was embraced by the Klan even referring to the Klan as a “good group.” In her autobiography, the Planned Parenthood founder detailed her encounters with the Klan, writing, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.”

Imagine the American public or the media tolerating any other organization whose founder passed on her ideas to the Klan even “honoring” politicians and so-called notables with an award named after said Klan speaker? Yet, this is what Planned Parenthood does year after year after year and the media is not only silent but many of it’s members have been the recipient of the award. If the media had one ounce of honesty they would grill Planned Parenthood on why they call the former Klan speaker a “hero” while handing out Margaret Sanger awards like candy.

Planned Parenthood margaret sanger hero

And, if that was not bad enough, left wing, abortion loving politicians also give Planned Parenthood cover. Top of that list would be 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton who said she “admired Margaret Sanger” during her acceptance of the award. Despite all the covering up of Planned Parenthood’s agenda and activities, the truth is leaking out through groups like the Center for Medical Progress. In addition, the excellent work of groups like Live Action and Life Dynamics who have exposed Planned Parenthood’s racist agenda, is starting to have an impact as well.

Over the years, Planned Parenthood may have successfully woven their tentacles into the American culture, but their days of deceit are coming to an end. This tax dollar guzzling abortion business may receive approval from politicians and the American media but the American people are waking up to what Planned Parenthood is all about. So, while pro-lifers may be growing weary of watching tape after tape after tape of these horrific Center for Medical Progress videos – we cannot allow the truth to go unnoticed. If the media refuses to call Planned Parenthood to task, we must take the truth to the American people ourselves and do it over and over and over again until it sinks in and crumbles this giant for good.

Dr. Drew gets “duplicitous award” for denial Planned Parenthood covers child rape

Posted in Planned Parenthood Maggie Awards, Planned Parenthood media mouthpieces with tags , , , , , , , , , on October 6, 2015 by saynsumthn

Physician and HLN host Dr. Drew Pinsky has demanded evidence that Planned Parenthood covered child sexual abuse after his pro-life guest dared to suggest they did.

Dr. Drew

Alison Howard, Director of Alliance Relations for Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) made the charge during an interview in September where she addressed the defunding of Planned Parenthood as well as the abortion hashtag campaign called #ShoutYourAbortion.

Alison Howard PP

Without ever investigating the charge himself, Dr. Drew appeared extremely agitated towards Howard for her criticism of Planned Parenthood, later admitting his role with the abortion business:

I was there,” Dr. Drew said.

Dr Drew Planned Parenthood HLN

“We were working for Planned Parenthood to create an environment where young women could feel safe. Adolescents, young adults did not go to the traditional health care system. It was not about abortion ever. In fact many places didn’t offer abortion,” he stated.

Howard tried to tell Dr. Drew that Planned Parenthood is not good for children due in part to the way they cover for child sexual abuse, stating:

“I’m talking about the young girls [who] were taken to Planned Parenthood by their perpetrators, and who wished Planned Parenthood shouted about their abuse, but, instead, as we’ve seen in recent reports, covered up that sexual abuse,” Howard said.

Dr. Drew sounded sarcastic in his response, telling Howard, “If somebody was duplicitous in covering up sexual abuse they would go to prison, am I wrong?

Adding, “If you know something. If you yourself have information that would lead to evidence of that affect and you do not report it you are duplicitous. You are part of the crime so, I suggest if there’s somebody – one incident on some Planned Parenthood on some outlying part of the country where that happened I hope you will prosecute that person.”

Merriam-Webster defines duplicitous, as “deceptive in words or action” while the Free Dictionary defines it as, “given to or marked by deliberate deceptiveness in behavior or speech.

In this instance, the truth is that Dr. Drew is the one being duplicitous because he knows full well that Planned Parenthood covers child sexual abuse, having recently had Live Action’s president Lila Rose on his show detailing her undercover investigation exposing this illegal activity. The investigations found eight Planned Parenthood clinics in five different states were willing to cover-up sexual abuse, disregarding mandatory suspected statutory rape reporting laws.

In addition to Live Action’s undercover investigations, another pro-life organization also exposed this evil. In 2002, the Texas based group, Life Dynamics called over 800 abortion and Planned Parenthood facilities with an actor posing as a 13-year-old girl who told the centers she was having a sexual relationship with a 21-year-old man. The investigation documented how a majority of these centers coached the “actor” in a way that clearly indicated that they were willing to cover-up a pedophile crime. All the audio tapes are available online at www.ChildPredators.com– should Dr. Drew ever care to listen.

But, there is even more evidence that Planned Parenthood covers child sexual abuse.

The reason I know this is that I personally found several criminal cases where children were impregnated by a predator and taken to Planned Parenthood and abortion centers and no report was filed.

As a former researcher for Life Dynamics, I had the grueling task of reading through every horrific detail of these cases many where the sexual abuse of the victim continued for years after the abortion due to the clinic’s failure to comply with the law. In fact, despite Dr. Drew’s statement that withholding evidence in a child sex crime would land you in prison, of all the cases I reviewed where a Planned Parenthood center or abortion clinic was mentioned, there was no evidence that anyone was ever prosecuted for violation of mandatory reporting laws.

In one case, which I detail further on my blog Saynsumthn, a child was taken to Planned Parenthood not once but two times after being raped by her pedophile father.

The information surfaced in California court documents which showed that the victim’s father was convicted of sexually abusing two of his daughters and uncovered how he took the younger one to Planned Parenthood for two abortions.

Court documents show that in July of 2010 the pedophile’s 13-year-old daughter had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic. She said that she did not tell clinic staff that her father had impregnated her, but instead made up a story about having a boyfriend her own age.

pedophile-takes-child-to-planned-parenthood-for-abortion-edgar-ramirez-2

However, rather than reporting the pregnancy of the young girl for suspected abuse, the Planned Parenthood abortionist simply performed the procedure and advised the child rape victim not to have sex for three weeks after her abortion. Remember, she is only 13 year-old.

During the last weeks of October of that same year, court records indicate that the child rapist father again impregnated his young daughter and on December 8, 2010, the child was taken to Planned Parenthood for another abortion at six weeks of pregnancy.

pedophile-takes-child-to-planned-parenthood-for-abortion-edgar-ramirez-3

The abuse was brought to the attention of the authorities only after the victim’s older sister, who had also been sexually abused, reported his conduct toward her to the police. By that time the damage to her younger sibling had been done and could have been stopped had the abortionist or Planned Parenthood reported it.

Additional criminal case summaries where Planned Parenthood failed to report sexual abuse include a young girl who was raped for an additional year and a half after her 44-year-old abuser took her to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. And, a kidnap victim , who was taken to Planned Parenthood after her abuser sexually assaulted her at the age of 15-years-old.

You can more actual criminal case summaries here.

Dr. Drew supports Planned Parenthood, because, as he has stated, he has worked “around Planned Parenthood for a long time.”

Planned Parenthood maggie award

For his support, Dr. Drew has been granted the 2013 Maggie Award, named after Planned Parenthood’s racist founder, Margaret Sanger. Sanger was a known eugenicist who advocated the forced sterilization of the “unfit” and admittedly met with the Klan on several occasions.

And, for his repeated and shameful denials that Planned Parenthood covers child rape, I hereby award Dr. Drew the duplicitous award.

Hillary Clinton praises racist Margaret Sanger founder of Planned Parenthood

Margaret Sanger was a racist.

Margaret_Sanger1

She advocated eugenics. She supported the use of sterilization to rid the planet of the “unfit”.

Sanger admitted in her own autobiography that she was invited by the Klan to give them a speech.

Sanger KKK

Did I say one invite? Nope, according to Margaret Sanger she received a dozen invites by the KKK.

So….why would anyone and I do mean anyone accept an award named after a racist Klan speaker?

Hillary clintonMargaret Sanger

Good question….one that Hillary Rodham Clinton might want to answer.

In 2009, Hillary Clinton received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award.

PPFA Hillary Margaret Sanger Award

The announcement posted to the US Secretary of State website read, “Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) will present its highest honor, the PPFA Margaret Sanger Award, to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at the PPFA awards gala in Houston, Texas on Friday, March 27. Secretary Clinton will receive this award for her unwavering support of women’s health and rights throughout her public service career. Actor America Ferrera will co-host the event with PPFA President Cecile Richards. The awards gala will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center on 1001 Avenida de las Americas in Houston.”

Black abortion doc receives award named after Klan speaker Margaret Sanger

Posted in Abortionist, Abortionist Racist, Black abortionist, Margaret Sanger Award, Planned Parenthood Maggie Awards, Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger Award, Planned Parenthood uses blacks, Willie Parker with tags , , , , , , , , , , on March 30, 2015 by saynsumthn

Dr. Willie Parker is no stranger to controversy. He is a circuit riding abortionist who, most notably works at the last remaining abortion clinic in Mississippi.

Willie J. Parker

Parker has made many outrageous statements claiming that he performs abortions because he is a “Christian” despite the long-held view that murdering a baby in the womb is the antithesis of Christ-like.

Parker recently claimed that NOT PROVIDING ABORTIONS was RACIST.

Yes, you heard me correctly.

PP 2-2-15-Dreamkeepers-Headers_doers

As a result of Parker’s unwavering stand for abortion, and his dedication to killing majority Black babies, Planned Parenthood recently “honored” the abortionist during Black History Month 2015 even placing abortionist Willie Parker on their list of Dream Keeper “Doers.”

But, the organization based on eugenics and racism did not stop there.

Planned Parenthood Gala March 19 2015

At their 2015 Gala, Planned Parenthood, which took place March 19th, Planned Parenthood gave the black abortionist their most prestigious award, The Margaret Sanger award.

Dr WIllie Parker Black abortionist Margaret Sanger Award Planned Parenthood 2015 6

Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood who admitted giving Klan speeches in her autobiography.

The Klan would be right in line with Sanger’s views on limiting the births of the so-called feeble minded and unfit. The eugenics groups she belonged to and placed on her board as well as published in her Birth Control Review, also held those same racist views.

Sanger Negro Project KKK

This blog has documented those views many times, so I will not go over them one by one here. If you want more information, I recommend the film, Maafa21 for documentation on Sanger’s beliefs.

Thanks to an upload on YouTube by Planned Parenthood Gala attendee B. Rae Perryman, you can see just how excited Dr. Willie Parker was in accepting the Margaret Sanger award from Planned Parenthood:

Parker has a history with the abortion giant having once worked for them as medical director for Planned Parenthood Metropolitan Washington.

He is fast becoming the Black face Planned Parenthood uses to lessen the effects of those who have documented the genocidal affects of abortion as well as the racist history.

Just as their founder Margaret Sanger vowed to use “Black Ministers” in her “Negro Project,” Planned Parenthood is doing the same with Parker.

Dr WIllie Parker Black abortionist Margaret Sanger Award Planned Parenthood 2015 5

During his speech, Parker thanked Planned Parenthood for the Margaret Sanger award and told the crowd that his mother shaped his need for recognition when “you act on behalf of others.”

It is in the spirit of my mother’s teaching- that- while I am humbled to receive this award- I see you as simply honoring me for what I am supposed to do,” Parker told the Planned Parenthood crowd.

Supposed to do? Kill babies is something you are obligated to do?

The abortionist, who dismembers babies including African American babies in the womb, quoted holocaust survivor, Elie Wiesel who said, “Our lives are not our own – they belong to those who desperately need us.”

Newflash abortionist Parker:

The unborn baby desperately needs his/her mother and your knife guarantees they will not have the life granted them by their Creator.

Dr. Willie Parker should be ashamed of himself – but he isn’t.

Sadly, like others who betrayed their race or participated in the slaughter humans, Parker is proud.

Planned Parenthood Pelosi

Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, was a member in good standing with the racist American Eugenics Society. Sanger had board members who were known for their racist writing and Sanger published many of those in her publications. In addition to her Birth Control advocacy, Margaret Sanger also pushed for euthanasia. (read here )

Sanger founded the American Birth Control League which later changed their name to Planned Parenthood in 1942. A documentary produced in 2009, Maafa21, detailed the racist and eugenics agenda of Margaret Sanger and even tied Planned Parenthood to racist eugenics boards. The film clearly showed that Sanger was NOT an honorable person but rather a biased racist who wanted to rid the world of those she deemed “defective”, “feebleminded” or “unfit.” Watch Maafa21 here for that history – http://www.maafa21.com.

Nancy Pelosi’s acceptance speech makes it clear that the elitist Congresswoman agrees with Margaret Sanger and her Planned Parenthood philosophy, “: I thank all of you for the honor of receiving the Margaret Sanger Award. ..To be associated with the great Margaret Sanger is a distinct privilege. To be associated with past winners of this Margaret Sanger award is among my highest honors. I accept this honor tonight on behalf of my colleagues…Over the years, the opponents of family planning have targeted Planned Parenthood for one reason, and one reason only: Planned Parenthood is effective… thank you for the Margaret Sanger Award,” Pelosi said as she accepted the award.

Pelosi is not the only high ranking political official to sing the praises of Margaret Sager:

Secretary Clinton even seems to say that Sanger is superior to Jefferson.

I guess it would be okay with Ms. Clinton if she praised a member of the KKK as long as they did something admirable in her eyes. Racism by Sanger and Her Cronies is NEVER acceptable to those who are the target of it. But a Wealthy White Elitist Woman like Hillary Clinton will never know that type of racism.

In all the times that the racism label has been thrown around I have to wonder why Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton’s acceptance of an award named after a Klan Speaker and Eugenicist has not been decried by Americans in general and Black leaders specifically.

Perhaps most don’t even know what they really believe; I hope we can change that.
