The news media is a buzz with accusations of racism against black pro-life leaders who insist that abortion is being used to exterminate the black race. In recent months several billboards exposing this fact have come under attack in SoHo, New York and most recently Chicago , Ill.
The billboards in SoHo placed near one of three Planned Parenthood abortion clinics in New York City blared – “The most dangerous place for an African American is the womb.” Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger who had very close ties to the Nazi’s and was a member of the American Eugenics Society. Sanger admitted in her autobiography that she gave a speech to the KLAN. The group, Life Always, who put up the billboard was attempting to expose this the billboard was pulled down as “racist”.
Then, last week, Life Always, a group of African Americans, placed a billboard in Chicago which stated that “Every 21 minutes our next possible leader is aborted” and featured an image of President Obama.
According to the Chicago Tribune, “Two of the three identical ads…were covered with fabric banners with messages scrawled in red paint. One banner says: ‘In 21 minutes this sign should be gone.’ A second banner, which dangled from the billboard Sunday after being blown by the wind, says, ‘Abort Racism.’”
But…today, Cassandra Dorius, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research presented a “study” at the annual meeting of the Population Association of America, which concluded that 59 percent of African-American mothers, Have Kids With Multiple Dads. The data, presented at the Population Association of America annual meeting, on April 1, 2011, in Washington, D.C., shows that 1 in 5 US moms have kids with multiple dads.
For the study, Dorius analyzed data for nearly 4,000 U.S. women interviewed for the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth. They were first interviewed in 1979, when they were 14 to 22 years old.
Over the next 27 years, they were interviewed more than 20 times.
They gave information about ethnicity, education, employment, income, family characteristics, and custody arrangements.
Women of all ethnic groups had children by more than one man, she found. But it was more common among minority women.
Among women with two children:
* 59% of African-American mothers had children by different fathers
* 35% of Hispanic mothers did
* 22% of white mothers did.
The question is why the media is NOT scrutinizing the motives of the Populations Association of America to be the [place to reveal this negative information on minorities, when they attack the black pro-life leaders for exposing the eugenics and racist attitudes of groups like Planned Parenthood and the targeting of blacks for abortion for reasons of population control.
To see things more clearly , let’s take a close look at the founding of the Populations Association of America:
The Population Association of America (PAA) was conceived on December 15th, 1930 at a meeting in the office of Henry Pratt Fairchild at New York University. The PAA was an offshoot of the American National Committee of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP) which had been formed in 1927 with Raymond Pearl of The Johns Hopkins University as its first President.
Both Fairchild and Pearl were involved with the American Eugenics Society and with Planned Parenthood.
Henry Fairchild was a Director of Margaret Sanger’s Birth Control League which later became known as Planned Parenthood. One of Fairchild’s most famous contributions was the development of the Planned Parenthood of America Federation, called the Birth Control Federation of America until 1942. There he served on the Board of Directors in 1932 and later the Vice President from 1939-1948.Fairchild was largely Marxist in thought. He published a variety of works, many controversial during the time and even today. Some of these include: Immigration (1913), The Melting Pot Mistake (1926), The Alien in Our Midst (1930), General Sociology (1934), Birth Control Review (1939), People: The Quantity and Quality of Population (1939), Economics for the Millions (1940), and Race and Nationality as Factors in American Life (1947). He also gave a well-known speech, “Race Building in a Democracy”, to the Birth Control Federation of America (BCFA) and the National Committee on Planned Parenthood during their annual meeting in 1940.
During the years 1929-31 Fairchild was president of the American Eugenics Society, and from 1934-38, president of the Population Association of America. He was one of the leaders in the planned parenthood movement in the United States.
Raymond Pearl was associated with the American Eugenics Society and also helped found a Maryland Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood of Maryland, first known as the Bureau for Contraceptive Advice, began in 1927 as a clinic at 1028 N. Broadway, one of the thirteen in the nation. It was founded by prominent physician, from the Johns Hopkins Hospital: William H. Howell, Raymond Pearl, J. Whitridge Williams, Donald E. Hooker, and Bessie Moses, who became its first Medical Director.
In 1918, Pearl became the first director of Biometry and Vital Statistics (now Biostatistics) at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health (now the Bloomberg School of Public Health). He would remain there — also serving for many years as statistician at the Johns Hopkins Hospital — until his death in 1940. While at Hopkins, Pearl uncovered additional holes in the eugenicists’ scheme. In a paper he published in 1919, for instance, he concluded that sterilization would not effectively rid the population of the genetically unfit. While it was true that “a very considerable number of criminals, paupers, feeble-minded, epileptic, and insane persons . . . owe their defective condition in greater or less degree to heredity,” Pearl wrote, “normal” people could unknowingly carry the same defective genes and pass those genes on to their offspring. So to guarantee that all defective genes were purged from the gene pool, society would need to sterilize “normal” people, as well — a proposal, wrote Pearl, “altogether too wasteful of perfectly good and desirable hereditary material.”
However, if Pearl had doubts about some of the eugenicists’ strategies, they did not dissuade him from joining organizations such as the American Eugenics Society and the Galton Society, an anthropological organization whose membership was open only to those who were racially pure.
Nor, apparently, did any doubts cause Pearl to readjust his personal views on Jews or race. In June 1922, he wrote to his friend Lawrence J. Henderson, a professor of biological chemistry at Harvard, after that university had tried to impose a quota on Jewish students. “I think we do it much more neatly here,” Pearl wrote. “We make no noise about it, but, for a number of years past, very quietly and skillfully means have been taken and are being planned for the future to keep down our Jewish percentage.”
Discrimination against Jewish applicants, Pearl declared, “is a necessary move in the struggle for existence on the part of the rest of us.”
So, to conclude. Saying that there is a racist motivation behind the marketing of abortion to black women is RACIST. But, using a EUGENICS founded organization with connections to Planned Parenthood to proclaim that black women have multiple men when fathering children is okay? I am confused? ???
