Filmmaker compares Gosnell’s abortion clinic to Auschwitz where blood ran down the walls

Journalist, documentary filmmaker, and director Ann Mcelhinney discusses some heart-wrenching stories about Kermit Gosnell and abortion in America with Steven Crowder.

She is helping to produce the Indy Go Fund Me campaign, Gosnell the Movie.

gosnell_key_art_a_l

Gosnell was convicted of murder after he snipped the necks of babies born alive inside his House of Horrors abortion clinic in Philadelphia, PA.

Babies born alive are known in the abortion industry as the “dreaded complication.”

Mcelhinney said that after their research the only thing she can compare Gosnell to is Auschwitz and the Nazi Holocaust.

“Words really fail to describe what Kermit Gosnell did. I mean, language really starts to fail..And, as I’ve worked on it, the only comparison that worked for me at all is Auschwitz,” Mcelhinney told Crowder.

Louder Crowder Gosnell

“It’s the only thing – the Holocaust is all I could compare it to. Because…one thing that was said in Auschwitz that I think was amazing, and somebody said ‘Where was God in Auschwitz?’ And a Rabbi said, ‘it’s the wrong question – the question is – where was humanity?’ And, I found that really helpful with Gosnell because dealing with the people – all of the people who knew what was going on….and did nothing. And you have to ask yourself: Where was humanity?” she said.

Gosnell275x

Mcelhinney said that she was shocked when she read Gosnell’s assistant, Stephen Massof’s testimony where he said they ran around with scissors and the “blood ran down the walls.”

Massof was eventually sentenced to 6 to 12 years in prison.

What he did was illegal,” she tells Crowder.

But, Mcelhinney says that if the public thinks that what Gosnell did was disgusting, “then why is it that you don’t think it’s disgusting when it happens inside of the woman? Because, by the way, it is completely legal what he did- if he had done it in the womb.

Mcelhinney has admitted that before she investigated the Gosnell clinic she was not outspoken against abortion. Now, she is passionate.

If the public could see what really goes on, would they speak out? That is the one million dollar question.

I have blogged about the way that society is silent as this abortion holocaust like they were the Nazi Holocaust in the past…please read: Abortion just like the Nazi Holocaust is the “Sin of the Innocent Bystander.”

Christianity Today: Eugenics proponent Margaret Sanger emphatic about social good of contraception

Posted in Margaret Sanger, Media Bias, Media Christian with tags , , , , , , , , , on March 12, 2015 by saynsumthn

Christianity Today has just released an article praising the birth control efforts of Margaret Sanger, the racist founder of Planned Parenthood.

Guest author, Rachel Marie Stone, penned the “Contraception Saves Lives“, article, where she describes the piece as, “Reconsidering Margaret Sanger as one who was opposed to abortion but emphatic about the personal and social good of contraception.”

Christianity today praises Margaret Sanger

Despite the sickening character of Margaret Sanger as a proponent of eugenics which Stone admits to, she attempts to paint the Planned Parenthood founder as compassionate towards women who suffered in child birth, writing of one case:

The young nurse had been called to the apartment of Sadie Sachs, a poor woman who was extremely ill after attempting to perform an abortion on herself. Sadie begged the doctor to tell her how she might avoid future pregnancies.

He suggested, coldly, that Sadie — a young married woman — abstain from sex entirely.

Not long after, the young nurse was again summoned to Sadie Sachs’ apartment, where the same scenario was unfolding. This time, though, Sadie died from her attempt to abort her unborn child.

The young nurse — whose name was Margaret Sanger — threw her medical bag across the room in fury and vowed that she could not go on nursing until she had helped to make effective birth control widely available to working class and poor women.

Rachel Marie Stone-

When asked to write the piece, Stone said this, “I wasn’t sure how to reply; Sanger founded Planned Parenthood, which, contrary to what Sanger would have wished, is today the largest provider of abortions in the United States. As it happens, Planned Parenthood did not, in Sanger’s day, provide abortions. Sanger herself opposed abortion, saying that “no matter how early it was performed it was taking a life.” But Sanger, like many medical professionals in her day, did hold eugenicist ideas. Eugenics were enshrined into compulsory sterilization laws in many U.S. states and supported by organizations like the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. I do not mean to excuse Sanger for holding these views, but I do want to give the charge of “eugenicist” a more complete background.”

Rachel Marie Stone defends Margaret Sanger

Let’s pause for one clarification, if Ms. Stone was not defending Margaret Sanger in her Christianity Today piece, why did she send out this tweet saying, “I am @amyjuliabecker ‘s blog today, defending #MargaretSanger and talking about how #birthcontrol saves lives. http://ow.ly/Kc2qr”

After taking some heat, Stone back tracked slightly:

Rachel Marie Stone defends Margaret Sanger 2

It is true that Sanger opposed abortions as I detail here, however, what Stone leaves out is that she had a more permanent solution to abortion, forced sterilization.

By sterilizing Black women and those she and her eugenics friends considered feeble-minded, Sanger could guarantee they would never become pregnant again.

Margaret Sanger from her autobiography

In Margaret Sanger’s, “Birth Control and Racial Betterment,” Sanger states clearly that eugenics, the ideology Stone denounces is not complete without birth control , “Before eugenists and others who are laboring for racial betterment can succeed, they must first clear the way for Birth Control. Like the advocates of Birth Control, the eugenists, for instance, are seeking to assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit. Both are seeking a single end but they lay emphasis upon different methods.

Eugenists emphasize the mating of healthy couples for the conscious purpose of producing healthy children, the sterilization of the unfit to prevent their populating the world with their kind and they may, perhaps, agree with us that contraception is a necessary measure among the masses of the workers, where wages do not keep pace with the growth of the family and its necessities in the way of food, clothing, housing, medical attention, education and the like.

We who advocate Birth Control, on the other hand, lay all our emphasis upon stopping not only the reproduction of the unfit but upon stopping all reproduction when there is not economic means of providing proper care for those who are born in health. While I personally believe in the sterilization of the feeble-minded, the insane and syphilitic, I have not been able to discover that these measures are more than superficial deterrents when applied to the constantly growing stream of the unfitEugenics without Birth Control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit…

Sanger also called for those who were poor and what she considered to be “morons and immoral‘, to be shipped to colonies where they would live in “Farms and Open Spaces” dedicated to brainwashing these so-called “inferior types” into having what Sanger called, “Better moral conduct”.

In an interview with Mike Wallace, Sanger called the bringing of these “unfit” children, created by God in the womb, into the world a sin:

Just who was Sanger directing her Birth Control Pill advocacy towards? Her description is below

Sanger I Consider

I consider that the world and almost our civilization for the next twenty-five years, is going to depend upon a simple, cheap, safe contraceptive to be used in poverty stricken slums, jungles, and among the most ignorant people,” Sanger wrote in 1950, “Even this will not be sufficient, because I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.”

To further complicate Stone’s assumption of Sanger as a purveyor of “social good” the Planned Parenthood founder was also a racist:

In her Autobiography KKK

This is what Sanger wrote in her autobiography, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (Source: Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366 and Maafa21. )

In her article, Stone makes a reference to Government funded birth control in ObamaCare accusing those who opposed it of labeling women, promiscuous or lazy or selfish, unwilling to host a blessing from the Lord:

“A woman’s desire for birth control is, even today, regarded suspiciously, as was seen in public discussions around the birth control provisions of the Affordable Care Act — as if women desiring birth control were promiscuous or lazy or selfish, unwilling to host a blessing from the Lord, which children certainly are. But those of us who live privileged lives — relative to the urban poor of a hundred years ago, and relative to the millions of women in the majority world — are not always able to appreciate what access to birth control meant, and means, in these times and places,” Stone writes.

Well, Ms. Stone, are you not aware that many chemicals now labeled contraceptive are, in fact, abortive and that is one of the main oppositions to the government mandate?

But, since Ms. Stone is interested in Margaret Sanger’s view on all of this, allow me to give it.

Sanger 1965 Population Control

In 1964, Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger said she believed that it would take the US Government to accept “Population Control” to convince other nations to do the same.

I just don’t see how we can control the birth rate until we get the government to agree that this is something which should be taken seriously. Other countries feel that if our government is against it, it must be bad. Americans would be much more acceptable when they go abroad to work on the problem if we get our government to approve it- perhaps under some such term as population control,” Sanger stated.

If Stone wants to advocate for contraception, that is one thing, but for her to try and convince the world that Sanger’s motives were compassionate, that is a completely different story.

After all the controversy, Amy Julia Becker, whose Christian Post Blog Stone was writing for, gave her explanation as to why she published the piece:

“The purpose of the post was to draw attention to the number of women, children, and unborn babies who die in countries without access to contraception, she writes.

She continued:

Rather, an Internet maelstrom of comments on Stone’s original post and hundreds of tweets ensued, all in response to the way Stone depicted Margaret Sanger, founder of what is now the organization Planned Parenthood. These concerns center on Sanger’s deplorable eugenic positions and racism. As the mother of a child with Down syndrome; as someone who has advocated again and again for the value of every human life; as someone who has curated series about abortion, prenatal testing, and racial reconciliation in the church—I care deeply about rooting out any eugenic tendencies in our current context. I care deeply about exposing and confessing racism and working together toward reconciliation.

So I pay attention when writers and Christians like Timothy Dalrymple offer this critique of the post (in the comments section):

I hope you can make this argument more powerfully and more effectively in future by not making it seem as though one must accept or pseudo-accept Sanger in order to agree.

Amy Julia Becker said she will continue her contraception conversation from those opposed and those in favor, but, I get the feeling she will leave Sanger out of that conversation- we shall see.

Comments spark change in story title on twin babies

A story published by The San Francisco Globe was originally titled, “Doctor X-Rayed her pregnant belly. What they saw Inside was a bit upsetting.

Twins

The article featured the way twin babies interact in the womb and the “upsetting” portion of the title sparked outrage by readers.

After a few comments were posted asking what exactly the SF Globe saw that was so upsetting, the title of the article changed to, “Twin Babies Interact In The Womb

SF Globe Twin Babies

Given the bias the media continues to show against unborn children because of abortion- it is great to see how push back, even in this story, caused a change.

In the comments, Lisa Hansen, wrote, “I have 5 children – 3 single births and a set of twins, and I can tell you they all moved the same (kicking, punching, rolling around, etc.) They’re not hitting or kicking each other – they’re just moving about like normal babies … it’s just that with twins they don’t have as much room to move. I see nothing “upsetting” about this, and I think people are trying too hard to see something that isn’t there.

And Karen Shoaff, also commented, “I agree with Lisa Hansen. There is nothing ‘upsetting’ about this MRI. These twins are just moving within their space as any normal baby. You people at SFG really need to learn how to write copy. You have some of the worse headlines I’ve ever read and I’ve been an art director/writer in advertising, marketing and PR for over 30 years..”

Police Brutality and Torture Hillary Clinton and the Left Ignored

Posted in Media Bias, Media pro-abortion, Police Abuse, Pro-choice Hypocrisy, Video with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 11, 2014 by saynsumthn

We have heard a lot about the abuse of the police of late.

Recently, dash cam video and a witness video emerged in the shooting death of Walter Scott by a South Carolina police officer, which has outraged just about everyone.

Others expressed outrage for the death of Michael Brown who was shot by Officer Wilson and Eric Garner in New York whose brutal death during his arrest was also caught on camera.

But, what is just as shocking, is that for many years – the police have been more than brutal to pro-life demonstrators with not even a whisper of condemnation by the left. This blog post is not an attack on police. I support police in most cases. But- when abuse occurs – we must speak out.

What this blog does expose is the hypocrisy of the left and specifically the Clinton administration (Hillary Clinton included) who sat by and watched police brutalize pro-lie people for many years.

During the 1980’s and 1990’s members of the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue blocked the doors of abortion facilities across the country. They felt it was their moral duty to peacefully place their own bodies between the abortion doors and the child that was to be murdered. Just as in the Civil Rights Movement for Blacks, there were many members of the clergy, women, children and men from all walks of life who took part in these pro-life rescues.

A documentary film compiled several instances of police brutality and even though the liberal media was present at many of these protests they remained silent. Police used mace and various torture methods including numb chucks on peaceful pro-life demonstrators pictured below:

As a journalist myself, I attended several events where I personally witnessed police removing their badges just before they brutalized pro-lifers:

If a person breaks the law – they should face the consequences. For the pro-lifers they understood that their actions would result in arrest and jail time. However, when they were tortured by the police and the progressives on the left said nothing it showed me that they did not care about police brutality.

Today, the left is parading themselves around as some sort of savior exposing the evil of a run-away justice system. That is a lie. For those of us who witnessed brutality on a regular basis when we exercised our Constitutional right of redress we know what hypocrites the left can be. The question remains, does the public know this as well?

The impact of seeing abortion victim images from Created Equal

Chasing Untitled1

A group put together by Chasing New Jersey, a news broadcast which airs on Fox29 Philly, reveals the impact that showing graphic abortion images has on those never exposed to the truth of what killing babies in the womb looks like.

In the film, young people watch a video of an abortion shown publicly on a jumbotron by the pro-life group, Created Equal, recently in Philadelphia at the Liberty Bell Mall.

Jumbotron Created Equal

The responses are very telling for those who criticize abortion imagery !

Several viewers turn their heads and some gasp.

Others hide their eyes.

One is heard saying, “Wow! Graphic!

Another viewer: “Disturbing!”

Another, “Difficult!”

The host says, “that is as quiet as this room has ever been.”

A women responds, “there’s’ nothing to say, it’s absolutely heartbreaking.”

The group debates whether showing these images and videos in a public venue is good. Some say yes others no – some think it is only a free speech issue – others want it banned.

The over-all effect of what Created Equal did by showing these abortion images can be summarized by this viewer who said, “Regardless of how you feel on the issue, if their goal was to get you to invoke these emotions, then these visual images for the word abortion – then they did a great job. I’m never going to forget that for the rest of my life.”

watch:

The use of abortion victim imagery is debated among pro-life people. However, pro-choicers are scared of it.

carol-costello-CNN portrait-left-teaseThis week, CNN Journalist Carol Costello who anchors the 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET edition of CNN’s “Newsroom” each weekday, asked why women who have abortions aren’t using extreme methods like these to promote abortion?

“Abortion rights activists have told me that such “extremist tactics” have been an effective tool of the anti-abortion side of the debate for decades. If the group, Created Equal, can project bloody, allegedly aborted fetuses on a 10-by-12-foot screen next to Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell to try and prove that abortion is murder, then why shouldn’t women who have abortions use extreme methods to try and prove it’s not,” Costello stated.

Not Alone

Sherry Merfish founder of the Not Alone project, an abortion effort to encourage women to share stories of killing their children without regret, suggested that women telling their abortion story will keep people from thinking about the “proverbial bloody fetus.”

“We’re not saying that every person will make a video, but the ones who do will offer encouragement to other people to tell their story. By telling your story to anyone, you are combating the stigma. You are eradicating stigma as a woman who is open about her life and instructs others to do the same. So that the next time someone says the word ‘abortion,’ the hope is that that person you told won’t think about the proverbial bloody fetus, they instead will think about you: a person who they love and respect and made this decision,” Merfish stated.

While the pro-life community continues to debate using abortion victim images, it would appear that the pro-choice community knows their impact is working, just say’n !

Media rushes to say Abortion Doc who’s last License was revoked was “Vilified”

Posted in Abortionist, Abortionist loses medical license, Abortionist Medical Board, Brigham, Media Bias, RH Reality Blog with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 10, 2014 by saynsumthn

What happens when both pro-life and pro-choice groups are calling for authorities to investigate an abortion doctor and the media does not get the memo?

The media’s pro-abortion bias shows thru- that’s what !!!

Steven-Chase-Brigham

When the notorious abortion doctor, Steven Brigham’s last medical license was revoked this week, the media, in their all-to-swift attempt to defend all things abortion labeled Brigham a “vilified doctor.”

The headline originated with the AP who tweeted the original story: Vilified abortion doctor’s last license pulled:

AP Villified Brigham

The AP Story quickly spread online to other media outlets. But as the day progressed, the media must have realized their error in labeling an abortionist whose horrific conduct was exposed by pro-lifers and allegedly by reproductive rights people a “vilified” doctor- they quickly changed their tune:

Here is a cached version from one news outlet which already changed their headline:

Villified Brigham abortion cached

Did the AP even know that the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners had noted that Brigham betrayed the trust of the women he exploited?

Apparently, at the time of their original release, calling the abortionist vilified, the AP was unaware that pro-choice groups had “vilified” Brigham for years with abortion blogs like RH Reality Blog calling him “Rogue.” ( Of course, I dismantle the fact that Brigham was Rogue, as they suggest here, if you care to read it.)

RH Reality ROGUE Abortionist

In the article I mention above, written by Sharona Coutts, RH Realty Blog’s Director of Investigations and Research calls Brigham an abortionist with a checkered history, “The claim is the latest in a slew of allegations leveled against Dr. Steven C. Brigham, whose checkered history of harming patients and flouting laws has led several states to suspend or revoke his medical license,” she writes.

RH Reality Rogue Brigham abortion July 2013

There, she links to another article she penned in 2013, entitled, For Decades, Authorities Let Rogue Abortion Provider Harm Women, Despite Pleas From Legitimate Doctors, where she attempts to convince her readers that Brigham was so dangerous that even the abortion community called for investigations.

She writes, “In numerous complaints, emails and phone calls over a period of more than two decades, legitimate abortion providers from New Jersey and neighboring states alerted authorities to Brigham’s dangerous conduct, furnishing warnings they say went largely unheeded. Doctors provided copies of many of these complaints, as well as extensive logs of their calls, to RH Reality Check.

“An investigation by RH Reality Check shows that New Jersey officials responsible for overseeing healthcare in that state could have prevented injuries to this and subsequent patients, had they acted on warnings about Brigham that predicted this exact scenario.

“If they had listened right in the beginning and taken appropriate action, I think these harms would have been prevented,” Jen Boulanger, a clinic administrator who has spent years amassing complaints about Brigham and his associates, told RH Reality Check. “I think state agencies were afraid of raising eyebrows about abortion, but they just should have handled it like they do any other field of medicine.”

Teddy Wilson, another author from the radically pro-abortion blog, uses the same “Rogue” terminology when he describes Brigham as having, “a troubling past, and has been under investigation by state authorities for medical practices that have pushed the boundaries of ethics and the law.”

In the August 2014, article, Wilson goes on to describe Brigham’s abysmal record, “In August 2010, an 18-year-old patient was left with major internal injuries after what was supposed to have been a routine surgical abortion performed by a Brigham-affiliated clinic. The doctor who performed the emergency surgery on her at a Baltimore hospital contacted the authorities, leading to a raid of the clinic by law enforcement, who found fetal remains in freezers.

“Brigham’s medical privileges were suspended in 2010 when the Board of Medical Examiners found that “his continued practice presents a clear and imminent danger.”

In November 2013, the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Bureau of Facility Licensure and Certification issued an order against Philadelphia reproductive health clinic Integrity Family Health for failing to disclose an affiliation with American Women’s Services.

“The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that in the 86-page decision, Administrative Law Judge Jeff Masin wrote that Brigham’s “past conduct is troubling.”

So, I suspect, that after the media was wholly embarrassed by their attempt to make Brigham a victim, they revised their headlines to this: Abortion doctor has final medical license revoked

AP revised Brigham Headline

And the AP may have sent out a memo, because several other media outlets republishing the AP story have also changed their titles removing the word “Vilified” !

The Minneapolis Star Tribune went from this:
Villified Doctor

To this:

MN Star Tribune Brigham

The Stamford Advocate did the same:

Stamford Advocate Brigham

That trend continued, although the cached versions of some of these do not exist, the link takes you to articles with a different headline:
Vilified Brigham Google

And, some have not received the memo to eliminate the term “Vilified” yet:

Asbury Park Press Vilified Brigham

What is the take-away from all this? Well, in my humble opinion, this more than proves that when it comes to abortion and the safety of women, the pro-abortion media already has their tagline – don’t blame the abortion industry- Blame pro-life people – end of story.

Only, in this case, they made fools of themselves doing it!

Answer – AGENDA!!!!! They are pushing ObamaCare and FREE Birth Control !

From My Employer Shamed Me for Using Birth Control

After the insurance company first denied me birth control, but before I learned that it was my employer who’d demanded they change their policies, I made an appointment with the university’s Human Resources director. I assumed it was a problem with the insurance company, and thought our HR director would want to know. Boy, was I wrong. The HR director told me that birth control is something the university should never be expected to cover, and that I should be more responsible for my reproduction and “proud” of my child. Using birth control is the responsible decision for me and my family, and I was outraged that he would suggest that my family planning decisions somehow called into question my love for my daughter.

Ever since that conversation, the HR director gives me dirty looks whenever I pass him in the hallway. I discussed the situation with my boss, who was sympathetic, but advised me not to bring it up to anyone else in the university’s administration… because they might fire me.

I love my job and can’t afford to lose it, which is why I bite my tongue when I see the HR director, and why I’m not using my real name in this blog. But I should not have to choose between keeping my job and losing my dignity. by Jessica R.
