Taxpayers funding nearly 44% of abortions in Minnesota

Minnesota taxpayers have been funding nearly 44% of abortions in their state over the past few years. (2017, 2018, 2019)

• In 2017, a total of 4,469 out of 10,177 abortions were paid for with public assistance.
• In 2018, out of 9,910 total abortions, 4,407 received public assistance.
• And, in 2019, 4,337 out of 9,922 abortions were paid for with public assistance in Minnesota.
